Everyone remembers the old days of video gaming. Players would go to an arcade to play in the worlds of Street Fighter, Packman, Tetris and many many more. But it didn't stop there. Soon company's all over the globe begain to pop into existence and create their own games like Nintedo, and Valve. Fast forward to 2016, where the world the gamers of old knew, is gone.

Gone are Burger Time and Centipede, to be replaced by Half Life 2 and Minecraft. The saying "Out with the old and in with the new" has never been more appropriate. Then fast forward to the present. The year is 2020. And Virtual Reality has all but taken over the gaming industry. And with it came the Gamervurse.

Everyone knows what Tetris is. People have heard the song, and seen the blocks. People have worn the shirts, and seen images. But no one, in this day and age has played it. And that is our fault. Ever since the world was graced with Pong, people have worked to grow and nurture the world gamers thrive in. Hm. What an appropriate title. "Gamers". That is what they call us and we call us. So many things have grown from that word, some good, some bad. Things like insults, and things like conventions. Things like more games. We as a community have built upon the very first video games. We have loved them and we have hated them. And we have learned from them. We have learned how to follow your dreams from Notch the creator of the popular sandbox Minecraft. And to stay determind from Toby Fox the maker of the RPG Undertale.

So many things have grown with us. So many new ideas, and even an entire culture of gamers have grown from a single two player tenis game. And now gamers rule us. Thanks to the recent explosion in VR games, a whole new path has opened up. Now gamers can plunge themselves into the worlds that they spend so much time in. To high five their favorite Call Of Duty character, or swim through the unexplored ocens of Subnatica.

And now fast forward to 2020. VR has completely taken over the gaming industry, along side computer and counsel games. And with this rise of VR came something amazing. The Gamervurse. A massive RPG MMO game that allows gamers to travel through an endless expansion of worlds, fight with their friends, build massive buildings, fight powerful bosses, and so much more. The only limit is your imagination. At least that's what the game's intro says about it. Even so it's still a game. That was made and coded by humans. Which means that there are bound to be bugs. But I doubt the games developers intend for 6 creatures from another universe to travel into the game world.
