The Gryphon Republic: a once powerful empire, lost to a great and mysterious enemy. Gilda, one of a small population of survivors and refugees that fled to Equestria, works to uncover the secrets that led to the Republic's decline, and the mysterious foe. She stumbles across an old document, detailing a peculiar promise, while also coping with the trauma of almost losing her only friend.
