I'm still here

Sunset wasn't having a good day so far, students were talking about her behind her back and made faces at her when she looked away. She very much knew about it, even though they thought she didn't. Yet there was one who didn't talk behind her back or made faces at her. He always felt bad for her, he pushed students when he saw faces go at her. He never got in trouble for it.

He went to see Mrs. Cake on the weekends and after school, he thought of her as a mother to him. He helped out when it was need, and somethings he saw the Rainbooms and Sunset when he was at Sugarcube Corner. He never felt like he could talk to her without getting mad at others, yet she kept him calm and cool.

He would always pick fights with Flash, and would get him into trouble. Most students don't think that he's mean or actually means what he does. Yet in truth he does, he cares for Sunset. He would do anything for her, even if it meant to betray the ones he loves or cares about. He would even kill for her safety and happiness.

He heard all about Flash and Sunset begin together once, he was only new at CHS when they were together. He never got in her way, and that made her not pick on him or bully him. Yet when the formal came up, it was kinda cool and kinda scary to see her in that demon form. Still, he never got why people didn't forgive her.

He would be heard singing at Lunch and playing his guitar, his friends kept picking on him for the crush he held on Sunset. He didn't pay any mind to them, he had an older brother. But he took things way to far, he would act out him and Sunset and that made his blood boil. As pay back, he would act out his older brother and his girlfriend.

He was sure that nothing would happen until, he heard Flash talking about how Sunset was just acting when she changed, he walked right up to him and smack him. He punched Flash in the face and walked away, students that saw him were shocked. The most famous singer at CHS and maybe somewhere else, was standing up to the girl who hurt them for years.

Then Sunset came up to him and gave him hug for it, he smiled. Once she left with the Rainbooms, he went over to Flash and told him that he should be lucky to have actually lived. He walked away feeling nothing but sorry for Sunset, Flash could only just stare right at him while he was walking away.

The door to SugarCube Corner opened to have a young man with red hair walking in. His orange eyes, light up as people said hi and wanted to buy him something. He smiled and said no thanks to them, he walked up and gave his order to Mrs. Cake, who said it was on the house, they began talking about stuff.

"So, how's the song going?" Mrs. Cake asked the young man in front of her.

"Eh, still needs work. Besides, I doubt it'll be a hit."

"Star Night, you don't know  that." Mrs. Cake told Star, who wasn't much caring for the song he was writing.

Mrs. Cake tried to reason with him about the song and how it would be a hit, until the door opened again. The Rainbooms were walking in, with Sunset. Star felt his heart skip a beat just looking at Sunset, Mrs. Cake mocked him about looking at Sunset. He shook the feeling off and walked over to them.

They all saw him and greeted him, he smiled at them mostly at Sunset. He offered to get them something to drink, which Pinkie, Rarity, and Sunset said yes too. The other three said that they would buy their own. He told them that they were welcome to listen to the song he was writing.

"You write songs?" Flutttershy asked. Star only nodded, he looked up at the roof and didn't say anything.

"For how long?" That time it was Sunset, he had to talk for her.

"About......8 or 9 years now. Can't remember when or how long though." Star told them about his idea for being a famous singer when he was younger, and he basically followed through.

He had to go when he got a text from his older brother, saying it was important. He left with a smile, but he ran into Flash. He punched him and walked on, not really caring that Flash's friends were there. Once he got home, he saw his brother's girlfriend leaving.

He greeted him and sat down on the couch, he didn't actually care if his brother started going on about how his girlfriend had him mad or something, the only thing he cared about was making Flash regret ever having to pick on Sunset.

Star woke up about an hour later, remembering that he fell asleep. He watched TV for a bit until he heard the door open, his older brother walked up to him and gave him something.

"Hey Sombra, did you really just get this?" Star asked while looking at the game his brother got him.

"Yeah, I did."

Star looked away and back at the TV, he heard Sombra go into his room. He ever so wanted to punch his brother right in the face, but since he couldn't find the time to, he just held back from doing so.  Sighing as he closed his eyes once again, Star could only dream about making Flash pay for the things he did to Sunset.

Soon, Flash would pay. But Star knew it wouldn't actually be for awhile though. After all, the formal had just ended like three weeks ago. And plus, he wasn't really feeling up to punching the life out of Flash at the moment.
