Day One
Ok, let me just explain my situation. I am currently in the back of a pickup truck, on my way to a camp full of ponies who want to make me straight. Maybe this would be a good thing? I don't even know anymore...
I stared out the window, my earbuds shoved deep into my ears. I glanced over at Stone Shore, a counselor, as she sat in the drivers seat of the rusted truck. She was talking, but, I made no effort to hear her. My eyelids began dropping shut as my boredom took over. Suddenly, my earbud was forcefully yanked out. My eyes flashed open and I was eye to eye with Stone Shore, her piercing yellow eyes burning directly into mine. "We're here," she grumbled as she stood up and slipped out of the open truck door. I tumbled out behind her, tugging my backpack behind me. My hooves pressed down into the gravel as I stepped out. I was taken aback by obnoxious smell of flowers as I took a breath. A soft breeze blew past, blowing strands of bright pink hair back into my face. I adjusted my hair before following Stone Shore down a corridor of maple trees. I walked down the path, staring at large wooden buildings that stood just not far beyond the trees as I passed. Stone Shore stopped in front of a small wooden cabin with a bedazzled pink sign that read: "MARE'S CABIN 1". She shoved a white button up shirt and a blue and pink tie into my hooves. "Put these on." She said, "You and your partner will be expected to meet in the main building with for classes in two hours, lunch will be served after classes, lights out by nine o'clock. Not inappropriate activities of any kind. If you are caught breaking any rules, you will be punished, is that clear?" I nodded. Stone Shore slipped her clipboard out of her saddlebag, her eyes quickly scanning the page. "It says here that your partner will be Rare Riff. Lucky you." She said with fake enthusiasm.
