*Knock* *knock* *knock*
"Who is it?"
"Rain, it's Ember."
"Hey Ember! Nice to see you! Who may this little one be?"
"This is my son. His name is Blaze. Say 'hi' Blaze."
"H, hi."
"He's a little shy." Ember said in his defense."
"I can tell. My little one is upstairs. Hold on a sec...Rainbow Dash! Come down; someone is here visiting us!"
"Coming!" In a flash, the cute, rainbow colored filly was downstairs, standing next to her mom.
"Hey mom? Who's this?" She asks out of curiosity.
"This is my good friend Ember, and her son Blaze."
"Oh; hey mom? Why do they look different than us?"
"Rainbow Dash! Be polite!" Rain chastises.
"No, no Rain, it's okay. It's because we aren't Pegasus ponies. we're Pegasus wolves." Ember answers.
"Ooooh...okay. I was just wondering." Dash replies.
"No harm done in it. Hey Blaze, why don't you, and Rainbow Dash go play outside for a while?"
"Okay mom. C'mon Rainbow Dash, I'll race ya!"
"You're on Blaze!" Dash concludes as they race towards the back door of her house.
"Wow! I've never seen Blaze get used to someone like that so quickly before!" Ember exclaims with surprise.
"Same here with Rainbow Dash!" Rain replies.
Outside in the backyard
"Blaze, where did you  come from?" Dash asks again out of curiosity.
"I don't remember a whole lot because I was very little when we moved. All I remember is that it was always freezing cold there. Always very snowy. I didn't know the location till I asked my mom. She said it's far up north. Waaaaay past the Crystal Empire. We moved here, I found out, because the conditions up there were, and are still getting worse everyday! My dad died form the cold shortly after a hunting trip. The cold was just too hard on him that day. That is honestly, the main reason why we left. Staying there will just be too hard on us both. But it isn't affecting me nearly as much as it is affecting my mom. Sometimes, she asks to be left alone for a while. Whenever she is alone, I always here her crying, asking herself why she didn't take my dad's place on the hunting trip that day. She always regrets letting him go hunting that day, despite the weather, and her objections to him going out because of the weather. Sorry for going into a back-story,but yeah...that's basically it."
"Dang! That sucks, and is crazy!" Dash replies.
Yeah, it is, and it does." Blazes agrees in response.
"Do you ever feel like going back someday?"
No, I honestly don't. I don't think I'll ever be ready to go back."
"Okay, that's understandable." Dash concludes as they sit down under a tree in her backyard. Looking up at the sky, Dash sees her favorite cloud, and gets a great idea.
"Hey Blaze, I know something that will cheer you up. Just follow me to that cloud okay?"
"Okay Rainbow Dash." It was mostly cloudy that day, but that didn't stop Rainbow Dash. While Blaze sat on the cloud, she cleared all of the sky till there were no clouds to be seen! Then Dash sat down next to Blaze, and said;
"Look. Isn't it just beautiful? My dad showed me this spot a couple days before he died." Bale looked at her, shocked;
"What?"
"Yeah. Just like your dad, mine was too, taken by the weather. He flew for the Wonder-bolts. They were flying in the middle of a terrible blizzard during their regular exercise routines. Then all of a sudden, lightning struck him in the back, out of nowhere, killing him right then. and there. My mom nearly died when she found out. As for me, I just flew here, and cried myself to sleep that night, here on this cloud. But that hasn't stopped me from coming up here."
