Ray put away the kukri and laughed at how shocked Twilight looked. "Relax Twi, I'm sure as long as he doesn't do anything he'll regret we should have a great time." he said.

Rainbow Dash looked at Ray and said with a confused face "Why did the princesses allow you to keep your weapons. I mean no offense but, you kinda murdered a few dudes."

"Hmmph..murdered...I survived and I took down anyone who got in the way of that. So tell me Skittles, what you would do if Fluttershy's face got blown off by some ass." he said with a calm yet deep voice.

Fluttershy flinched and looked wide-eyed toward Rainbow who was at a loss for words. "Alright that's enough thinking of that. You didn't deserve to be put on the spot like that and i'm sorry. As for why they let me keep them, I don't know." he apologized.

"Well then... We are about to arrive at our first stop, The Canterlot Carousel. Ray I've took the liberty in sending her your measurements and preferences. Your tuxedo should be ready as soon as we arrive." said Rarity.

Ray nodded and stretched out before leaning back and looking out the window. He watched the city pass under him and heard the rest of the group chatter about whatever. After a few minutes of boredom the carriage set down and Ray helped everypony out. A mare came running out and met with Rarity in friendly hug before greeting the group and stopping to look up at Ray. Ray looked down to stick out a hand and wait for her to shake before she said "Sweet sashes your bigger than I first thought. The name is Sassy Saddles, pleasure to meet you." She said shaking his hand.

"Ray" he replied with a deep raspy voice grinning.

Sassy Saddles looked up in fear before Ray laughed and held open the door for her and the group. Closing the door behind him, he turned to see a few dresses and a tuxedo hanging from a rack. "Alright everypony go get dressed and i'll see you in a few." said Sassy. Ray dropped his weapon belt, grabbed the suit and then walked into one of the many dressing rooms. He was surprised to see that it came with a fancy belt with a King Cobra embroidered sheathe for his saber. Upon walking out he seen that he was the first out and looked over to see Sassy looking at his equipment. "Careful they're sharp" he said as he leaned against a wall.

"What are they?" she asked.

"Things that have saved my life and in turn, took others." he said with a sad smile.

Sassy's face of wonder quickly turned into one of shock as what he said sank in. She dropped the weapons and looked up to Ray in fear as he sighed and told her his story sans the entirety of what happened in the swamp. As he finished the story he grapped his equipment as the others started coming out in their dresses. Ray smiled as Vinyl and Octavia walked out in their dresses and listened to the compliments that he received. He smiled as he bowed and kissed their hooves saying "Miladies".

Rarity hugged Sassy once more thanking her for the dresses and Ray held the door then helped them into the carriage. Once inside the carriage took off once more Ray asked "Where now?"

"We are now on our way to the party." said Twilight.

Before long the sun had set and the group had arrived at their destination. Ray helped them down and bent down as Rarity fussed over his tie before saying "You look simply marvelous darling."

Ray nodded his thanks and adjusted his saber in it's new belt holster before following her in. His eyes opened wide when he seen the large room full of tables, chairs, chandeliers, and a grand stage tying it all together. He saw a few ponies with platters carrying various cheeses, drinks and snacks. Ray smiled when he felt two hooves grab his hands from both side and walk him toward a table that was closer to the stage than the rest. It was roped off and had a sign stating that it was the V.I.P. table. Ray sat down with his group and saw there were still five chairs unseated. Ray looked around and smiled when he heard a warping sound behind him. He seen Princesses Luna and Celestia and three others. Celestia seen his confused face and quickly said "Ray this is Princess Cadance, her husband Shining Armor and their filly Flurry Heart."

Ray nodded his head to the two and shook their hooves with a smile. Ray leaned back in his seat when he heard "Hello mares and gentle-coats everywhere. It is I the most beloved, PRINCE BLUEBLOOD! I have decided to host this party in honor of my dearest aunties. Now I heard that we have a new guest that has thankfully decided to join in tonight. Now I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you myself and would love if you could come on up." said Blueblood.

Ray sighed and walked on stage to shake his hoof when he heard, "What abomination of an ape are you? You look hideous in that poorly made suit and I demand to see the real Ray of Patrick this instant!" exclaimed Blueblood.

Ray frowned and took a deep breath to regain his composure and said, "Look dumbass I am-" "SLAP!"

He felt the side of his face sting and heard the crowd giggle a bit and Blueblood say, "Enough of this you imbecilic ape. I demand to see Ray this very instant."

Ray rubbed his hands together steadily heating them up before slapping Blueblood hard enough to knock him out. The crowd gasped as Ray grabbed some wine off of a caterer pony's back and poured it on hiss head. When he finally regained consciousness Blueblood drew his jeweled sword with a look of malice and said, "I challenge you to a duel. Right here, right now. When I best you I shall show mercy and you may leave quietly in shame."

Ray rolled his eyes and unsheathed his saber then waited for Blueblood to move. He tried to lunge when Ray dropped his saber, caught Blueblood's sword and yanked it from him. He promptly broke the fragile sword over his knee then grabbed his saber and pointed it at Blueblood's neck. "Too bad... that was actually a very beautiful estoc ya know." he said before Blueblood turned and ran bawling his eyes out.

Ray stepped down from the stage and signaled the band to start playing as he grabbed Vinyl and Octavia from their seats. Ray grinned as he was reprimanded by Octavia and congratulated by Vinyl while dancing.

"So we'll see you at the fight next week?" asked Shining.

"Yeah, i'll be there." he said with a smile.

"Are you going to stay for dinner too Ray?" asked Cadance.

"Definitely." he said with a small grin.

Ray was happy as he helped the girls back into the carriage before he looked back at the builiding to see Celestia and Luna looking at him with amused faces.
