I open my eyes.My lungs feel a twinge of pain from crying for so long.Being just fed,I don't feel so well...Oh!Never mind!
I'm not with the 'object' that made me feel so warm, so comfortable....In fact, I'm alone!Whatever is around me is comfy though.A little too comfy.I stretch my legs,my warmth slightly depleting as I did so.But my clothes keep me a little bit warm.I look to my side and I see the 'object' sleeping in a bed.
Said mother was white,and had blue hair.I want to be with her.Although,I feel rather tired,and my chest still hurts.I close my eyes,but then a nurse came in!I can't understand what they're saying.But then the nurse puts me back in the blanket and leaves.I let out a yawn,and go back to bed.
2 days later
After a long time in the hospital,my mother and I left.The sun burned my sensitive pink skin,and the wind blew threw my pink and purple hair.The sun was blinding!I wince at the pain in my eyes.We eventually get in the car,and it's cool.My mother turns on the music,I recall hearing this certain song when I was still in her stomach.
After listening to the song,and making it home,we enter.There is a 'dog' awaiting us...as if he saw through the door!He jumps over and over,barking numerous times.When my mother sits me down it tries to put it's tongue on me!But my mother immediately tells him to stop!Whew!What a life saver!
I remember there being another person here...he would talk to me before I came into this loud world.I believe he is at this place,my mother calls 'work'.I miss him.He is another thing that comforts me.But my mother says he'll be back soon.Soon never seems soon enough.
After taking me out of my car seat,and feeding me,she takes me downstairs,and watches this thing called 'T.V.' .It's rather boring,I don't know what they're saying.But my mother seems to,seeing as she's laughing.Adults must have some sort of language that babies don't understand.If there was another baby here,I could probably talk to them...but it's obviously me myself and I.
Later...
This dog of ours seems quite obnoxious.He barks,licks,tries to eat anything he can get his dirty mouth on.Although when he's asleep,I enjoy him.I don't understand why my mother calls this normal,but he seems to like it when people touch him.That might be a problem he needs to deal with...
He looks rather nice though.I like his spots.Infact,his name is Spot!My mother calls him a 'Dal-ma-tion'.It's a hard word.But I wonder why they didn't just name him that instead of Spot.
A little bit later...
My father is home.He is nice!He picked me up,and kissed me.I smiled,and they made a big deal out of it...I feel smarter,and smarter by the minute!With all of my family,including our dog,being home together,I feel comforted again.The night will be even better!I get to sleep in there bed with them!I feel some sort of dominance from this...without me they would have the bed to themselves.Lucky me!
Hours later...
I am laying down on the couch trying to rest.My parents are eating at the table.My mother says I am already fed.But I don't understand!If I am fed because I ate from my mother,why are they fed because they eat food?I feel left out,although I don't really care.
My parents put a show on T.V.,and babies are supposed to understand it.I still don't know what they're saying,but I enjoy looking at the colors and pictures!The only 'animal' I know,is a dog.I see some of those.But I assume there are more than one type of dog,I don't see any like Spot.
Speaking of Spot,I see him under the table,whining for some food.He even does some tricks,but doesn't get anything.Poor thing.
While I am laying on the couch,he comes to the couch,and lays around me,careful not to disturb me.He did,but I guess he did try not to...Maybe I will end up enjoying this dog.He smells,but I can deal with it.I slowly fall asleep,feeling his breathing stomach move against my back.
I wake up in my parents' bed,my mother and father beside me.It is still dark outside,but I'm hungry.So I cry,my mother feeds me,and waits until I need a diaper change.I go back to bed.But little do they know,I will wake up in a few more hours!*evil*And it will be daddy's turn!
The Next Day...
So,this thing that was on my belly button came off,and my mother is giving me a 'bath'.I haven't made physical contact with a lot of things,so my skin is still sensitive.So when I first got in the water,it was piping hot!I was crying,and my mother told me it was okay!When a baby is crying,it is not okay!But then she put some cold water in with it.This felt better.She used a wash rag to wipe my body.Although it was uncomfortable,it felt better than the dog trying to lick me.
Apparently,this is what it feels like to be clean...I feel no different.But I can smell myself.Those two Johnson's must do a good job!
My life so far is interesting,but I'm pretty sure much more lies ahead!
