Prologue Everthing You Need To Know About Sanguis Ponies/Vamponies

Sanguis Mannulus, Latin for Blood Pony, are more commonly known as vamponies. Repeating Sanguis Mannulus over and over can get old, so I'll just call them vamponies. Today, I will discuss all you need to know about Sanguis Mannulus, aka Vamponies.

1 Identification.

Vamponies look just like a normal pony and are not exclusive to any one species, (except for alicorn's) and can be earth ponies, pegasi, or unicorns. They can either be pure blooded or converted from regular ponies.The only way to expose a Vampony’s identity is to expose them to natural sunlight.Once the light from the sun makes direct contact with their face, the sclera of their eyes will turn pitch black, the irises will begin to glow brightly red, and their pupils become slotted like a Dragon’s. Long white fangs will descend from their mouth and gloating in the sunlight.

Contrary to popular belief, Vamponies do not turn to ash when sunlight hits them. They do become weaker but are still not to be taken lightly. As the myths go, Vamponies have incredible speed and strength four times that of a normal pony, however exposing them to sunlight decreases this by half. If the vampony is a Pegasus its wings will look like that of a bat pony’s wings when exposed to natural sunlight.Natural sunlight is the only way to reveal a Vampony’s true identity; using magic to project sunlight will not work on them.

2 Strengths and weaknesses.

As stated before, Vamponies are four times faster and stronger than a normal Pony. They also have increased durability and stamina (a lot of stamina), making them able to take hits better than a normal pony can. Beside exposing them to natural sunlight their abilities can also be weakened if they do not feed and will begin to go feral, losing all sense of self in the span of a day.If they do not feed within three days they begin to mummify, and in this mummified state their body will cease all function and stop moving entirely.In that state, it is easiest to kill them.

While they may not be moving and their eyes are closed, they are not dead. Due to a Vampony’s long lifespan they can stay like that up words to hundreds, or even thousands, of years. But if you have one that's fully active, have a unicorn that knows restraint magic or a restraint spell to tie them down and stake them in the heart (hitting them over the head with a frying pan works too, but you need to do it several times before you knock them out).

Another weakness they have is when you can catch them in the act (and I'm not talking about feeding or you can catch them off guard while they're feeding to but that's beside the point right now).Vamponies have a high sex drive due to all their senses being enhanced.A mare or stallion Vampony will be so enthralled in the act that they're unaware of their surroundings and those around them, leaving them vulnerable.

3 Feeding.

Vamponies only need to drink for about a full minute in order to get a complete meal out of their victims.They also need to feed every six hours. A special kind of saliva numbs the pain inflicted on the victim.This saliva also has an aphrodisiac effect on a regular pony, making them sexually aroused.This allows them to get dinner and a show after. Vamponies can go up to six or seven rounds of sex, both mares and stallions alike.Like I mentioned before, a lot of stamina.

1. Alphas and Omegas

There are two ways to become a Vampony. If you are born a Vampony you are an alpha.If you are turned into a Vampony then you are an omega. Those turned into Vamponies are not as powerful as those born naturally, and they become weaker much faster than an alpha would.

When an omega is near an alpha’s territory they will be overcome with great fear, and instinctively know that they stumbled somewhere where they should not be. An alpha’s territory does not refer to one specific location, rather the location that the alpha resides.The size of the territory is determined by the strength of the alpha’s aura, which is determined by how long the alpha has lived.If, for say, the alpha is over 100 years old, then the territory can spand half a mile.

5.Conclusion

To end this whole thing off, there's one last thing you should really know besides the blood sucking, the high sex drive, the unusual appearance, and the long lifespan.Vamponies are still just like normal ponies at the end of the day, and if there's one question that I haven't answered it's how do I know all this? Because I'm a Vampony myself, and this is the story about me, my marefriend, and the Crazy Life we live together.
