For some people, a wedding day would be a special day for both the bride and the groomer, but this isn't the case. Right now, in the land of Equestria, the capital city known as Canterlot was under attack by bug-like ponies called Changelings. These aggressive invaders take their stand from the streets to the skies as innocent ponies ran for their lives from love sucking parasites. Some were hiding, and some were fighting back. Though, even through the ponies' best efforts, it wasn't enough to drive away the Changelings. Even the Royal Guard's efforts could only do so much. Right now, our heroes, the Mane 6 were currently being forced back towards the altar where the evil Queen Chrysalis was waiting.
"Dang it!"Rainbow Dash Growled."I wish i can kick all you bugs in the flank!"
"Shut up,Prisoner!"A changling commander responds
"Make me,freak!"
On cue,the commander lifts his hoof and swpies the back of her head.And the fact that his hoof is covered in shell like armour doesn't help.
"You asked for it"The commander hisses at her
"Why you little-"
"Rainbow, stop!" Twilight yelled. "There's nothing we can do. There's too many of them to pick a fight with!"
Truth be told, there were over dozens of Changeling either trotting or flying by as they keep and eye other their captured preys. It was looking bad for Twilight and her friends. When they fought to retrieve the Elements of Harmony as a request from Celestia, they were ambushed by so many Changelings the moment they opened the barely guarded doors to the Elemental room. Things were becoming grim for our heroes as they continue on with their journey back the wedding.
'We failed.' Twilight thought sadly. 'Not only did we let Celestia down, but also all of Equestria.'
Just as they where getting closer to the entrance of the celestial and lunar castle, a random Changeling came crashing down in front of both parties. The ponies and leading Changelings were both surprised by this. The fallen Changeling seemed to be burned into a crisp as it lays face first in the ground. Not a second later as another Changeling came falling down with the same injuries as the first. The leading Changeling guard that was in armor galloped towards its fallen comrades.
"What's the meaning of this?!"The changling said as he holds up one of them"What caused this?!"
"W... W-We were attacked, S-Sir..." The injured Changeling coughed. "When we were scouting for more preys to capture, a pony came out of nowhere and... and..."
"And what?!"
It seemed as the injuries of the fallen bug-pony finally taken effect as the wounded Changeling went limp as it slips to unconsciousness. The guard drops the out-cold soldier as he spins around to face the others.
"Group A!Find out who and what caused this!Group B!Stay with me and escort these prisoner-GAH!"
The commander didn't finish what he was trying to say as he was struck down by a flaming projectile. The Changelings and ponies were once again shocked at what they seen. The burnt Changeling commander was struggling to stay standing as its armor was starting to fall apart from the sudden inferno. The girls and other Changelings traced where the attack came from and was surprised to see a pony standing on one of the damaged buildings roofs that still stands.The pony in question seemed to be a Pegasus mare with blood-red fur. Her mane and tail were the colors of both yellow and orange.Kind of like a wave of fire bursting.Her mane was styled into a bun similiar to Nurse RedHeart's.Though, the weirdest part was the multiple yellow stick-like objects that floated around the pony. Just before the other Changelings could do anything, the mystery pony spoke, to their surprise and a little fright, in a voice that could almost match the Queen's only higher.
"How would you like to get burnt you over grown bugs!?

Earlier...
This was by far the worst day for Octavia Melody. She was just planning on showing up for the wedding for her marefriend's performance, when all of a sudden, these bug-pony things came out of nowhere and started attacking and capturing ponies left and right while more where bashing their way through the large shield I the sky. Right now, she was currently galloping for her life from a group of chasing Changelings. Now, she might be an Earth pony, though she still lacked the strength to take on a few Changelings by herself.
"Don't let her get away, boys!" One Changeling yelled.
Hearing this, Octavia tries to gallop faster, but it was no use as her aggressors finally cornered her in an alleyway.
"Haha! No where to run and no where to hide." A Changeling smirked.
"Stay back!" Octavia warned. "If you don't, I'll-"
"You'll what?!" The Changeling snarled. "There's five of us and only one of you."
Before the Changeling could pounce, a sudden wave of fire appeared out of nowhere a knocked it back with the others. Moments later, to everyone's surprise, another pony came out from the inferno and landed with thud. While this was happening, the musician took the opportunity to hid under a box while the Changelings had their attention not on her.

That was a wild ride. Blazin' was very dizzy from that trip through the portal. If she knew it was going to be a rough trip when she died, she would of been prepared. Though, what's done is done. Those damn Mincrafters took everything i had. Might as well accept this new life.
"Where in the Nether am I now?" Blazin' asked herself.
As she gets up, she felt something touched her. On instincts, her body tensed and the blaze rods that always float around her burst into inferno. Whatever touched her yelped as it quickly stayed away. Good. She didn't liked being touched without knowing. Blazin' turns to see in her shock, a battalion of weird bug-horse looking...things. They just stared back with both surprise and curiosity. That is until one of them spoke.
"What are you waiting for?! Capture this pony and bring her to the others!" It yelled.
The others turned from curious to aggressive as they advance their way to the Blaze turned pony. Blazin' saw this and glared at the oncoming enemies.
"Go ahead. Come closer and see what happens!" She dared.
"Ha! What can you do that will scare us?!" The bug-horse taunted.
As on cue, Blazin' lifts a foreleg and launch multiple fireballs in one swift. The bug-horses that where in the front didn't get to react as they were knockout of the alleyway and far into the streets elsewhere. Others were shocked by this as they retreated in fear, while some went to inform their superiors.
"Yeah! You better run!" Blazin' shouted.
Though, she soon realized something odd. Did she had a foreleg? To answer her question, she looks down and was shocked to she her form before her. She was some kind red horse!
"So this is what is like in the afterlife? Fighting these bug things and becoming a horse? If it is, then this is one weird afterlife." Blazin' said to herself. "Well, if this how fate will be, might as well have fun with these bugs."
With that, used-to-be Blaze flew into the air and went off to burn more bug-horse, leaving a very confused and shocked Octavia in her hiding place.
