Trot of the Dead!

Introduction

Wading through the river known as life. Where if one has looked hard enough, and long enough; they will have seen that it follows along a course, that course runs among many routes. Although, when something just so happens to start to push you off of the roots of “destiny...” well let’s just call that little thing a ripple; and with those ripples there will come into effect a sort of despair. The things that cause these ripples are of many things; the death of someone, catching an illness, getting an injury; all of these, and more. While some of the causes are big, some are small, but what happens is all the same; just to a different severity, effect or degree.

Surviving through the river Life will take someone who is either; strong, brave, courageous or wise. Right? What happens to someone when they don’t show any of those traits, but ignorance? How can anyone survive what will become known as the largest, and most devastating ripple of Equestria's time?

The ripple was large enough that it was considered a wave, and what was it that had caused this wave to start? Simple, it was the death of somepony that we all know, but who is this pony that everypony knows? Well pony isn't how I would describe the dead one; as I call the three main pony races (Earth Ponies, Unicorns and Pegasus also known as Pegusi) ponies. That means the one who died was an Alicorn, and who is an Alicorn that we all know, but yet hardly know? Well she is named Princess Celestia.

Several moons, possibly months or years, before the story begins Celestia passed away it wasn't very long after a certain incident, which had caused her to spend up more of her power than what was left over from her many, many years of weakening. Even with her “apprentice?” Twilight Sparkle became an Alicorn, and not too long after that becoming the Princess of Friendship. The incident seemed to have just sponged up her remaining power. Yet she had appeared fine, though she was facing a 'power sickness' through which she would have never recovered.

-This story is about that wave, and an incompetent, ignorant pony’s attempt at survival. So what hope will there be for that pony? Who is, also, nearly too incompetent that their everyday life has been a struggle? This story will explore, and possibly depict, the need to survive; with the nearly supernatural, and unrealistic ability that comes with such a drive! How is it that even an incompetent pony can have a chance at survival? Find out if you dare!-
