Celestia had lowered the sun, and Luna brought up her glorious moon, shining it's dim aura upon the land of Equestria. All was well indeed for those who weren't currently under the attack of the infamous Nightmare Moon. The large hole in the towering glass panels marked her entrance into Celestia's throne room. The dark empress of the night sneered a glare to her "certainly" doomed foes, Princess Celestia and her counterpart, Princess Luna.         The two stood side by side taking battle stances, sharing the same glare as Nightmare Moon.         Yes, she has returned, "certain" she'll prevail, even though she knew defeat was inevitable, but to her, a loss to an attempted victory sounded much better than throwing in the towel, something Nightmare Moon wasn't ready to do. Twice before she'd been beaten, but as they say, third time's the charm.         "You know you can't win, Nightmare Moon!" said Celestia, taking a step towards her enemy.         "The elements are on their way to seal your fate once and for all!" Luna added, flaring her horn, she fired a blast of magical energy towards Nightmare Moon who easily dodged it. The misfire impacted the opposite wall, blasting a small hole through the two foot thick stone.         Nightmare Moon smiled. "Can you feed me off for long enough, though?" she sneered, firing back at Luna, who barely managed to jump out of the way. Where she previously stood was a hole in the carpet, and a gash in the floor, steaming from the blue wave of magic.         "You think you can take both of us?" asked Celestia. She stared down Nightmare Moon with a slight fear, her dark shadow draping the floor.         The doors behind the sisters suddenly flew open and Twilight and her friends stormed in.         "And the Calvary has arrived." Celestia smirked towards the evil version of her sister.         "Stop right there, Nightmare Moon!' Twilight yelled, taking her position between Celestia and Luna.         Nightmare Moon laughed and cackled. "Why, the gang's all here! This will be so much fun!"         "Girls?" Twilight smiled as her friends stood to the sides of Celesria and Luna, save for Rainbow who hovered above. They all nodded to her.         "Let's take her down once and for all!" Rainbow declared, punching her hooves together.         Twilight smiled and blinked. Upon opening them, her eyes flashed white as she and her friends rose to the air, a rainbow airs of magic swirling around them.        "Ooh, pretty!" Pinkie giggled, poking the rainbow colored beam.         The dimly lit room was brightened as the sphere of transparent light grew brighter.         "Not so fast!" Nightmare Moon hollered. She sparked her horn, giving off an eerie static as she fired off a blue beam of energy towards Twilight. At the same time, Twilight had fired a rainbow beam of her own, the two met, sparking and hissing as neither advances for the time being.         "Oh, no you don't!" Celestia threw herself towards Nightmare Moon, tackling the mare down to the floor. A mere second later, Twilight's beam had hit, the rainbow gave off a loud explosion, shattering the windows and a plume of grey smoke rose up.         All went silent as Luna stepped forward, the smoke quickly faded. The epicenter of the explosion left a deep crater in the floor, whisks of stem rose up from the stone turned to rubble. The hissing of the steam was the only thing to be heard.         Luna lit her horn, giving off a bright, blue glow as she stood before the crater. "Sister?"         As the smoke finally faded completely, the group of seven ponies nearly all fainted at what was left behind.         In the crater, Celestia and Nightmare Moon lay, unconscious it seemed, their armor much too large for them as they were now young fillies.         "T-Twilight...I think something went wrong with your spell..." Luna said softly.         The six friends came back to the ground and joined Luna.         "No kidding..."         Luna sighed, lifting Celestia onto her back with her magic. "This, I was not ready for at all..."         "What shall we do with Nightmare Moon?" Twilight asked, removing the helmet off the filly.         "Bring her to the dungeons. She belongs behind bars."         Twilight nodded, placing Nightmare Moon on her back.         "Poor thing..." Fluttershy nuzzled the sleeping Nightmare Moon as the seven ponies left the throne room.         Nopony said a thing as Luna led them to the dungeons.        "You ponies go on. I'm going to go lay Celestia down for bed. She's going to have a freak show when she wakes." Luna stated softly. The others nodded and Luna left the six on their own.         It was rather awkward for Twilight to be carrying Equestria's most powerful villain on her back. It sent a chill down her spine, but suffice to say, she was a little eager to see where this will go. It was as if a good book had come real.         They walked down a long hall of unoccupied cells, to a metal door at the end. The moldy cement walls and cold flooring left them rather uneasy. Twilight opened the door, the only cell to lack a window, and a single torch by the door. The floor as well as the walls had streaks of green mold. She looked to the sleeping filly on her back. It almost made her feel bad for Nightmare Moon as she set her down on the floor.         "Ah know she's evil," Applejack began. "But do we really had to leave her here like this?"         Twilight nodded. "Yes, Applejack. Magic cannot be used down here, so she'll remain here till we know what to do with her."        Twilight frowned and closed the door.
