The maids and guards alike couldn’t help but glance at the familiar young man known as Spike currently strolling down the main hallway towards the throne room. No one really questioned why he was going there since he had royal authorization from Princess Celestia herself to go where he pleased inside the castle. What made them look his way was the bright smile on his face and the rectangular box wrapped with a colorful paper and a rose ribbon.
He was wearing a purple suit, black squared pointe shoes, and a matching set of purple pants that fit his slender form like a glove. His hair was bright green and pointy while his eyes, green and shining like emeralds, held a gentle light to them that, more often than not, caused the maids to blush whenever he offered a friendly wave their way.
His size was also another noticeable characteristic. All of the older staff could hardly believe he had managed to grow to his size, considering he was five feet two inches barely two years ago. Yet now he stood at an impressive seven feet four inches. Just a couple of inches smaller than Princess Celestia herself. How or why he got such an extreme growth spurt no one knows.
The guards standing at the doors of the throne room stepped aside, their hands shimmering with magic a moment before the doors opened.
Spike stepped inside the room thanking the guards in the process. Once inside, he saw Celestia sitting on her throne reading through a stack of papers held by her secretary. So engrossed she was with her work that she didn’t noticed him until Spike cleared his throat at the bottom of the stairs leading to her throne.
Celestia leaned her head to the side to look behind the paper currently in front of her face. Her lips curled into a happy smile before she got up. Her secretary took away the paper letting the princess stand up freely. Spike noticed Celestia was wearing her usual pristine white dress that hugged her hourglass figure quite snuggly. He also noticed that, as always, she was barefoot.
Princess Celestia was truly built like an amazonian supermodel. And that was a fact everyone in the world knew. On Celestia’s back, two large golden light wings spread out before she leapt down the stairs only to land gently in front of Spike. The boy crooked his head up slightly to look directly at her eye to eye.
Before he could say anything, the Sun Princess wrapped her arms around his back pulling him into a tight hug.
“It’s good to see you, Spike.” She said with a motherly tone as Spike returned the hug resting his head against her left shoulder; getting his face full of hair in the process.
“It’s good to see you too, Princess!” Spike replied happily while Celestia’s breasts were pressed against his chest.
“Look at you! So tall and handsome.” Celestia said ending the hug making Spike blush a little.
Spike’s blush vanished replaced by a smirk and a lifted eyebrow. “You’re one to talk, Princess Beauty.”
The two of them shared a short laugh before Spike presented his right arm to her, which she gladly took now standing next to him arm-locked.
“A moment, Spike. Ink Scroll, I’ll be taking the rest of the day off.” Ink Scroll replied with a ‘Of course, your majesty’. “Lieutenant Barrage, please inform Captain Glassy Punch I must not be disturbed unless it’s an emergency.” The guard saluted exclaiming an ‘At once!’ before walking off.
With that said, Celestia and Spike started to walk at the same relaxed pace until they reached the doors leading to the Window Hallway. Together they walked occasionally stopping to watch one of the stained windows that pictured a turning point on Equestria’s history. It wasn’t until they reached the southern exit of the castle that Spike ended the soothing, welcomed silence between them.
“Glassy Punch?”
“He he, I thought you’d never ask. Don’t let his name fool you, he’s an Earth Blood and a formidable captain. He’s almost as good as Shining Armor in fact. That reminds me, I thought you were still with the Sparkles.”
“I was, but they wanted to go see a movie auntie Velvet was dying to go see. They invited me, but I had a very special person of my own to come see.” Spike said smiling at Celestia.
Celestia looked at him with her only visible eye for a moment or two. “Velvet and Cadance said they were going shopping afterwards, didn’t they?”
Spike let out a defeated sigh, his lips curling into tiny smile. “You know me too well.”
Celestia giggled. “That’s because I’m older, wiser, and your mother.” She then leaned to kiss his cheek for several seconds. When she parted she left a printed rosy lipstick mark on it.
“Oh, I almost forgot. Here.” Using his free hand Spike presented his gift to her. “Happy Mother’s Day, mom.”
“You shouldn’t have, Spike.” Celestia took the gift with her magic and teleported it away. “Gifts are nice, but spending time with my dashing son is more than enough gift for me.”
“Sure, sure. But that doesn’t mean I’m not going to try my best to give you a nice gift! Besides, do you have any idea how hard it is to find something worthwhile for a woman that can get anything she wants?”
“Of course I do. Picking a gift for Luna is always a nightmare.”
“I was talking about you, mom.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, sweetheart.” Celestia giggled while Spike snickered. “You’re not going to wipe your cheek?” She asked as they arrived at the stairs leading towards the ample statue garden outside the great maze. Celestia could see several families admiring the statues or having a picnic of sorts. She also spotted groups of three or just couples of sons and/or daughters walking by with their respectives mothers. A gentle smile adorned her lips seeing such happiness all around her.
“And miss out the chance to show it off? As if.” Spike said in a cocky tone presenting his kissed cheek. “Besides, I don’t feel shame showing a mark of my mother’s love.”
“You’ve been practicing with that silver tongue of yours, haven’t you?” She teased while waving at a few of her subjects that had spotted her. Thankfully, they were wrapped up on their own musings or had the tact to not interfere with whatever she was doing.
“I don’t need to practice. It’s my own natural charm.” He then closed his eyes and rubbed one with his free hand.
“Is something wrong?”
“Nah, it’s just that I forgot my sunglasses.” Spike opened his eyes to see Celestia’s confused expression. The corner of his lips curled into a smirk. “Now I’m gonna go blind for looking at your radiant beauty all day long. Not that I mind though.”
“My, my, whoever taught you to be such a flirt? I don’t remember you being so straightforward last time you came to visit, honey.”
“When you’re around Discord some things tend to stick with you. Sometimes literally.”
They stopped once they spotted a free bench to sat on. Celestia then rested her head against Spike’s closing her eyes in the process. Their arm-lock opened letting their hands reach each other with their fingers interlaced.
“As long as you don’t keep anything else from him I won’t mind.” Celestia took a deep breath through her nostrils letting it all out in a pleased exhale moments later. “It really is a nice day, isn’t it?”
“Yeah, it is. I’m glad we can spend time together like this more often now, mom. If there’s one thing I missed when Twilight and I moved to Ponyville, then that one thing is you.” Spike said tightening his grip.
“I missed you too, Spikey. To see my darling little angel leave me to do his duty...I wanted to cry, but I felt so proud of you for doing so.” She hummed placing her other hand on top of their hand-lock. “It’s like it was yesterday when I held you in my arms feeding you, but now you are almost as tall as I am! You’ve grown so much, Spike, in every sense of the word. Now you’re twenty four and you’ve done so much on your own.”
Spike hummed. “Yeah, I have, but only because I have fantastic friends, a wonderful home, and a loving mother.” Silence fell between the two of them for several moments until Spike sighed. “Alright, spill it out.”
Celestia couldn’t help but smile. “You’ve become quite perceptive, Spike.”
“I wonder how could that happen? I mean, it’s not like you, Twilight, Discord, Rarity and the constant threats to Equestria taught me to be so.” Spike in a sardonic way. “Seriously though, why are you so nervous?”
“How do you know that?”
“Your hand is sweating. It only happens when you’re nervous.” Spike said gripping her hand tightly while the fingers of her free hands caressed the backside of his hand.
“...You’ve really grown a lot.” Celestia sighed. “Spike, after years of searching I finally found who your real parents are.”
“A...are you completely sure? No doubts about it?” Spike asked with no surprise or hesitation, in fact he did so in a neutral tone.
“One hundred percent.” Celestia answered as her heart began to pound faster and faster.
“Anyone else knows?” Spike asked in that same tone.
“I’m the only one that knows.” Celestia opened her eyes to look at her son. They turned wide when she saw the smile he had on his face looking directly at her.
“Then leave it that way. I don’t want to know who they are or why they left me in the Badlands as a newborn. I may have wanted to know when I was a kid, but looking back it never really mattered.” Spike leaned to give Celestia a chaste kiss on her cheek. “You’re my mom; now and always, and nothing is going to change that.” The green haired boy let go of her hand to wrap his arms around her back pulling Celestia into a warm hug.
Celestia, not one to be outdone, returned the hug with the same intensity. After a few moments Celestia pulled away revealing the tears swelling in her eyes before she assaulted Spike’s face with a barrage of kisses. Eventually, Celestia pulled back cleaning away the remaining tear stains.
“Thank you, Spike, for saying that.”
“I only spoke the truth. Because I’m the one who should be thanking you for allowing me to be your son. And not just you, Twilight and Shining are my older siblings. I also have two amazing aunts, a wacky uncle, two incredible cousins, and I’m even an uncle now! I have a big happy family!” Spike then leaned until his lips were almost brushing against Celestia’s left ear. “Although, a baby brother or sister would be awesome, don’t you think so, Celestia?” He whispered with his voice turning husky and low when he said her name.
Almost instantly Celestia’s face turned red like an apple, a moment later her lips curled into a tiny knowing smile. “I’m sure it would, Spike.” She replied, her voice becoming firm yet gentle as she said his name.
“But not right now!” Spike said after he abruptly pulled back. “I asked Old Joe to bake us one of his famous donut cakes with extra sprinkles and double chocolate filling!”
Celestia’s stomach made itself present at the mention of such a delicious treat. Her blush retreated until only her cheeks were stained with red. “You pamper me too much, Spikey.”
“And you love it.”
“Yes, yes I do.”
Celestia rested her head against his for several minutes, both of them enjoying each other’s company as they heard the background talking and laughter of everyone around them. Eventually, Celestia got up pulling Spike with her.
“My fair lady, will you grant me the honor of escorting you towards your awaiting tasty confection?” Spike asked offering his arm again which Celestia took without hesitation.
Celestia couldn’t help but giggle at his antics. “You’re lucky I’m addicted to Old Joe’s donut cakes, otherwise I would leave you with blueberries all night long for ruining that touching moment, young man.”
“Good thing I know how to bribe you then!” Spike chortled afterwards while they started to walk away. “I’m sorry, for what is worth, it’s just that I couldn’t resist.”
“I couldn’t resist, either. How could I with my big, strong, lovable, handsome son at my side keeping me safe?” She then snuggled him causing Spike to blush a little.
“And here I thought I was the flirtatious one?” They both shared a quick chuckle before Spike kiss her cheek. “I love you, mom.”
“And I love you, my son.” Celestia was about to return the kiss when she noticed his face practically covered by her kiss-marks. “Oh dear.”
Spike smiled proudly, his chest puffing out. “Let the world envy me.”
Celestia shook her head before she kissed a small free spot on his cheek, the corner of her lips brushing against his for a split second. She pulled back, occasionally giggling taking notice of some of her subjects staring at Spike’s face as they made their way towards Old Joe’s shop.
The Sun Goddess embraced her son’s arm tighter while her aura seemed to turn brighter for some reason.

“Mmmmmm~ That feels so good, Spikey.” Celestia moaned out loud while she sat straight on a stool. “You’ve improved your massaging techniques significantly.”
Spike, sitting behind her on a slightly taller stool, hummed while his fingers tended to his mother’s upper back, the back of her neck, and shoulders. Celestia had long since turned her hair into a more normal looking one, but by no means less unique, easing his job now that it didn’t flow by an invisible force. The two thick straps of her dress that rested over her collarbones were moved to the side, allowing the green haired man to tend to her without restrains. Her crown discarded resting on her counter.
“Holy Tartarus. Mom, when was the last time you took a proper break? I swear I can feel stress balls on your stress balls!” He said applying more pressure on the base of her neck. Celestia moaned in approval.
“A month agooooOOOooo~. Sadly, few can properly tend to me the way I need. It’s relaxing--Right there, sweetheart--and helps me put my mind at ease, if only momentarily.”
“But you need to be treated a bit more...roughly, right?” Spike said tending to the sides of her neck. “You Alicorn Bloods are tough cookies after all.”
“They treat me like I’m made out of glass.” Celestia sighed letting her son crack her neck producing several satisfying cracking noises. “Thank you, Spikey. I reaaaaally needed that.” Celestia said before she let out a short ladylike burp. “How embarrassing. Excuse me.” She told glancing back at her son looking sheepish.
Spike didn’t reply in words, but rather wrapped his arms below her massive breasts while he put his chin on her left collarbone, his hands rubbing her slim belly in slow circular motions. “No worries, it’s cool. Then, at Celestia’s request, they returned to Old Joe’s shop and spent the next few hours chatting about everything and nothing while eating cakes in the, thankfully, empty store. When they noticed it was getting late, Celestia used her magic to lower the sun allowing her sister to take her sweet time to rise the moon. Afterwards they made their way back to the castle where he offered his mother a well deserved massage.
“It sucks our options are so limited when it comes to spending time together, huh?” Spike said in a sad tone kissing Celestia’s neck again. “Remember three years ago when we went to that fancy restaurant in Restaurant Row?”
“We ended up doing everything but eat our own meals. My dear subjects can be so pushy sometimes” Celestia giggled feeling her son’s lips press against her cheek. “How about Heart’s Warming Eve last year?”
“Did we actually spent some time together that day? Mom, I keep telling you to skip out and come to Ponyville for Heart’s Warming. You’ll have a blast.” Spike said planting a kiss behind her ear. “When was the last time you had fun during Nightmare Night?”
“I can think on a certain one~” Celestia sang as Spike rubbed his cheek against hers.
“You tease~” Spike stopped rubbing her belly over her dress opting to instead press her back against his chest. They spent the following several moment in silence until Spike spoke up. “We’re fucked up, aren’t we?”
“Spike-”
“I know, I know. But...I mean...we have sex, mom. I know we don’t have any relation by blood, but you’re still my mother. You took me in, breastfed me, changed my diapers, sang me lullabies, told me bedtime stories, taught me how to control myself, educated me, and loved me as if I was truly your blood and flesh.Even if it was outside the political eye.” Spike said in a neutral tone. “I belong somewhere because of you. I love you as my mother.” Spike hugged her tight. “But I also love you as a woman. How fucked up is that!?”
Celestia didn’t answer, yet she never stopped caressing his cheek.
“And still we share a magical connection with my fire. So it kinda is like we’re really mother and son?” Spike groaned. “Is it wrong of me to love you this way, mom?”
“Does it feel wrong when we make love?” Celestia asked using her motherly tone. “Does it feel wrong we can love each other in more than one way, my son?”
“Fuck no.” Spike kissed her cheek. “I love you, mom.”
Celestia stopped caressing his cheek to take a hold of his lower jaw. They shifted on their seats a little while her hand guided his head freely. Soon she was glancing to her son while he did the same; their lips mere inches apart. “I love you too, Spike.” She then closed the gap between them pressing her soft, rosy lips against rougher ones. Their kiss lasted a couple of seconds before they reluctantly parted.
“You’re not the only one that feels the same way, my boy. The first night we shared our bodies I feared the worst.” Celestia kissed his lips for a split second.
“Tell me about it. Next morning I couldn’t think of anything to say, the only thing I could do was hug you and hope for the best.” Spike licked her bottom lip. “And we ended spending the entire day marking the bedroom...and the bathroom...and the closet.” He licked her lip again, but before he could pull his tongue back Celestia caught the forked tip and sucked on it for a few seconds.
A deep growl rumbled inside Spike’s throat before he dove capturing his mother’s lips in a sloppy kiss; his tongue dipping into her mouth capturing her own tongue in the process. As they kissed his hands moved from her navel to her sides, and slowly made their way up until he reached the top of her dress.

Unlike the box, the band had a single red five-pointed star. She put down the box in front of her before she pulled the cork off of the bottle and took a deep sniff at the free opening. Celestia sighed in delight before she pulled out a glass cup inside the box. She then poured a large amount of the liquid into the glass before drinking half of it in a matter of seconds.
“You like it?” Spike asked seeing the pleased expression of Celestia.
“It’s been centuries since I last had a taste of Avalanche. Where in the world did you find a bottle?” She asked before drinking the rest of the glass contents and refilling it again. While it was true she wasn’t a fan of alcoholic beverages, she did enjoy a fine wine every now and again. Avalanche was the exception to that rule, since she adored it from the moment it was first made and could drink gallons upon gallons per day. She almost single handedly provided the total production cost for making it in the first place. Sadly, one day the owners stopped producing it for a reason not even she knew.
Drinking another glass, she could still remember how she begged the owners to sell her the recipe, but to no avail, and thus the secret to produce Avalanche was buried with them. Several others tried to replicate the formula after hearing the tale of her ludicrous offers, but all of them came as cheap knockoffs that couldn’t even glimpse at the wine she had come to love as much as cakes. The following years she hunted down every last existing bottle, storing them for her own personal pleasure. The day the demon, the Nightmare, took control of her precious little sister, Luna, Celestia drained her reserves until merely a couple of bottles remained. The last time she drank it was over eight hundred years ago, and with it the last bottle on the planet was spent.

She then used her magic to pull Spike to her until their lips were pressed together once again.
The sweet, minty yet spicy, and oddly refreshing taste of the wine flooded his mouth forcing him to gulp a good amount of it. Celestia’s tongue snaked its way into his mouth until she found his own appendage, starting yet another dance with the additional liquid washing their flavor buds. This time their kiss wasn’t sloppy, no, it was calm, slow, and passionate with practiced experience behind it. After about a minute later they separated leaving their faces apart by a couple of inches creating a single bridge connecting their mouths.
“It’s even more delicious now.” Spike said before leaning to lick her lips, only for her to pull out her tongue to meet with his halfway. Their tongues danced for several seconds, they themselves never breaking eye contact, until they pulled back completely. “I was going to save the surprise for your birthday, but I mastered the method last week, so why wait? Even with the recipe this wine is hard to get it right.”
“You have the recipe?” Celestia muttered wide-eyed. “Where did you find it?”
Spike smirked. “Let’s just say that I found out why the original owners ended the production last time I went to the Dragon Blood Lands. Long story short, Ember and I scrolled through some of the oldest treasure hoards for that cultural exchange Twilight set up, and I stumbled upon it by accident encased in crystal. I asked Ember if I could keep it, guess what she said?” Spike chuckled. “Now I’m the owner of the soon to open Spike Wine’s in Ponyville, with Avalanche sitting at the top.” Of course, she doesn’t have to know I actually spent five days searching for the thing, Spike added in his mind.
Celestia looked down at the bottle, then up at Spike with quivering lips. “Gotta admit something though, did you know Avalanche doesn’t need to be aged but it takes almost two months to make enough for a single bottle? One mistake and it’ll spoil, no wonder it’s so difficult to maaAAH!” Spike yelped in surprise the moment Celestia tackled him.
