The All Seeing Eyes Of Equestria
I see the world
Load Full StoryThe celestial rays of the suns beamed with high contrast through the silk blinds, and onto Aura’s scales. She hurridly popped her eyes open, in a scarce panic.
“Ah!”
She yelped, jumping upright in her oval shaped bed, but then laid back down and pulled the sand paper covers over her head. She moaned softly, refusing to get up. It was then an idea popped into her over-sized head.
Aura gasped, and mumbled something aloud, when a cheeky grin crept on to her lips, and her mouth formed into a large sinister appearing smile. Aura leaped out of her bed, and teleported to her parent’s chambers.
“Mother, father, It’s my 109th birthday!”
She exclaimed in a bubbly tone, still holding a cheesy grin. Her father looked up into his daughter’s ruby eyes from the new rules he was making for the country.
“Indeed it is, darling, what’s your point?”
He replied in a stern voice, his face without emotion. She tried not to let his attitude darken her spirits.
“I was just thinking that maybe I could begin to go out… “
Aura’s voice began to become shaky, and quiet as she trailed off.
“Out... Where, exactly?”
Aura’s father gave her a questioning look, and she began to feel nervous.
“Out of the village gates, the country… See what’s up in space?”
Xerxes rose from his ben and grabbed Aura by her cheeks, and looked deeply into her eyes. She was mortified.
“Of course you can’t! You could drift into one of the suns, you could be held hostage by another planet’s ruler, you could-“
He was cut off by his wife putting her claws over his mouth.
“Shush, you. Sweetheart, why would you want to venture out? Remember, we talked about this, you have to stay here until your time to reign the kingdom comes, where you must then go and protect the country.”
Aura couldn’t look her mother in the eyes, she was too ashamed of herself, but she had wanted to leave ever since she was a hatchling.
“Fine.”
She frowned as her mother scooted her off outside and into the hallways.
“Evening, princess.”
“I don’t have time for that, Rover.”
“Whatever’s the matter m’lady?”
He asked, slightly concerned.
“I want to see the world, Rover, but mother and father insist on keeping me on this lifeless rock forever!”
He sighed and put an arm around Aura.
“We are here because our place of origins grew too risky for us, the others didn’t like us, and started hunting for us.” Aura threw his arm off her shoulder, tears forming in her eyes.
“But that was a long time ago, before nana, we can overpower them now!”
She angrily replied, voice raised and pupils shrinking. Her tears soon became full blown sobs of pity. She ran to her chambers, locked the door, and jumped under her glistening covers. She held her head and sobbed onto her night gown.
“Soon. Soon I will leave, I don’t care what they say.” She managed to squeak between gasps of air and sobs.
Later that night, Aura, her parents and her sister were all sitting down together for their tea, but Aura wasn't exactly feeling all too hungry.
"What's up with her? She's really glum"
Her sister questioned, pointing to Aura. Her father sighed,
"She wants to leave, but she clearly doesn't see the importance of staying."
Aura growled under her breath a bit.
"I've been trapped here since I was hatched, and you expect me to stay here until I shed? I've never been out and the country is so boring! I want to be free, can you not see how badly I want this? If you truly cared, you would've let me leave years ago!"
She threw her fork onto the table and stormed off in to her room, as her mother quickly followed after her.
"Sweetheart please stop this, you know that we love you, and that is the exact reson you can't leave, we don't want you getting hurt."
Aura's mother said to her child with a soft voice and loving eyes. But Aura wasn't thinking, she was too frustrated, and she sapped her mother right in the face with a mighty force. The both of them stared at each other, as tears trickled down their eyes simultaneously. The two stood in silence for a few moments, before Aura's mother darted off, slamming the hard door behind her. Aura facepalmed, but before stopping to think twice, the blew the walls to dust with her magic in a mammouth explosion. She spread her wings, and flew away, breaking the sound barrier as she did, causing another explosion.
Meanwhile, in another part of the solar system, a young farmer girl was hard at work, planting seeds and preparing her family's farm for the summer. She let a heavy sigh escape her, and wiped some of the sweat from her forehead with her left arm while bending down to cover up the carrot she was planting. She looked up at the gloomy cloudless sky, and in the corner of her eye, she thought she saw something, maybe a bug, but larger. Much larger. She stood up and directed her vision to the mysterious being. Seconds later, there was a crash, dust and soil flew everywhere, and you could hear the roots ripping from the ground. The girl started coughing and wheezing violently, and collapsed where she stood. It took her a while to get to the grips of what events just unfolded before her, and so she waited on the ground a while before looking up. Her eyes were met with a strange being looking back at her, eyes wide and pupils dialated. It's skin was scaley, it had fin like features, it's shape was different, and it had wings!
"W-What are you?!"
She asked in shock, and quickly climbed to her feel, looking down at the creature that had ruined the summer's crops. Aura tilted her head at the strange girl, and gave her a questioning look.
"What? I can't understand you."
She said, and hovered over to her. She put her hands over her face in shock, and trembled with fear. Aura laid a hand on her shoulder, and rubbed her gently. The girl glanced at Aura through her hands, and slowly lowered them to her waist, but still stood a defense stance. "Hello?" "What? Hi?" The farmer gasped, mouth agape with shock.
"You...You don't speak English, do you?"
Aura shrugged at the girl, not sure of what she was saying, and trying to prove it as dramatically as she could.
"It's ok, I'll help you. You just have to trust me."
The farmer lady smiled sweetly at Aura, and held her hand, guiding her in to the small cottage. It had a straw roof, a stone chimney and was covered in moss, flowers and had an abundance of plants and bird feeders surrounding it. The door was a light brown oak wood, with the mailbox and house number next to it. Inside the home, there were lots of pictures, books, gardening tools and some things Aura had never laid eyes on before, for she knew not of these foreign objects.
"Hey, are you hungry? Do you even eat?"
They simply stared at each other.
"Eat, you know, consuming foods?"
She made hand gestures by the look on Aura's face was that of pure confusion.
"Alright then, you don't eat apparently. Then what do you do?"
Aura wasn't listening however, as she had given up learning minuites ago. Aura wanted more than anything to be free and explore this new land, but if she was caught she'd be in trouble, and her family were miles and miles away on another planet. The farmer went up to Aura and gently put some of her long flowing hair behind her ears, exposing the alien's face, and more of her scales. The farmer smiled softly at Aura,
"I'm Diane by the way."
"D..D.."
"Huh?"
"DD."
The pair stood in silence, not sure what to make of the situation, before Diane spoke.
"Alright then, I am now two D. I think this is as close as we're going to get. Anyway, what's your name?"
Diane gestured to Aura, and tried to explain with movement, but ended up just pointing.
"You...You..."
"What? Me? What about me? TELL ME WHAT YOU'RE SAYING, WOMAN!!"
Aura bellowed.
"NAME!"
The two were growing impatient, and Diane got too annoyed and went to bed early.
Aura just assumed that she could stay, so she ended up spending most of the night checking out all the cool tings this area had to offer. In the process, she burnt the barn, got attacked by one of the pigs, kicked a duck and bucked by a white mare.
The next morning Diane came outside and saw the disaster. She simply squeaked in horror, as Aura sumo wrestled pig.
"What in the world is this?!"
Aura simply looked up at her, before exclaping
"Jochina!" "John Cena? He's a wrestler. What are you on about, Alien?"
Aura was slightly offended, and where she came from, offnding royalty meant death. But of course, she couldn't send Diane to that fate... There were no guards around!
"Aurajequerasissiedeclazopa."
Diane's mouth was agape, "What kind of word is that? No offence of anything, I'm just a farmer here."
Aura then went up to Diane and gave her a slap.
"Name, pleb."
"Oh, ok then. You've been learning my language?"
"Damn Daniel!"
Diane face palmed and shook her head.
"Dear lord no, not this!"
Meanwhile, Aura was laighing so hard she had to lay down and calm down for a few minuites. So she did, on the ground with the vegetables.
"Well then, we've found you a new family, carrots!"
Aura began clapping. She didn't know that much of the language since she'd been around less than 24 hours, but she got the gist of 'family'.
"Ok so you've kind of destroyed the farm so I have to now go and buy more things. If you're new I could show you around the town."
"Circle!"
"What?"
"Circle round."
"Yes, a circle is round but-"
"DESTROY!"
"Yes I understand that you know words but-"
Diane once again got slapped in the face. "This is friggin' abuse! I call racism!"
To which Aura replied with another slap.
"Sheesh girl calm down! Well, I can show you around, since it's the summer holidays now, you can meet the children at school and adults off from work, other than me of course. We could go to the summer carnival and get you more used to this place, eh?"
Aura nodded, she idn't quite catch it all, but she knew her friend shouded confident so she obliged.
"Right then, I'll shower, you can go change, then we'll go out. Just pick anything from my wardrobe, I don't care."
Aura grinned, and the pair made their way back to the cottage.

The alien and the farmer were now in the village, and it was bustling with life, kids playing with their friends, adults buying ice creams, and families all having a grand time together. Aura began to miss her mother's gentle eyes and warm embrace. Her father's silly rages, and her sibling's sibling-ness. She didn't know how to explain it. Aura looked down at Diane (She was slightly taller) and frowned.
"You ok? Homesick?"
Aura nodded, and Diane pat her on the back.
"It'll be ok, I'm sure. Why did you even leave in the first place?"
Aura thought back to that day, how angry she'd been, the look on her mother's face, Rover... She began to quietly sob to herself, and cupped her face with her hands. Diane put an arm around her for comfort.
"You can wash your face at the fountain if you'd like, I can get the supplies if you're too sad."
"Okay."
Aura whispered, and made her way to the fountain. Diane wandered around for a bit, getting different animal feeds, seeds, and more mud to replace the burnt parts fo the farm that were too dry for planting. On her way, she picked up a necklace, gold metal with encarved swirls with a red ruby on it in the shape of a thunder bolt. She thought it might cheer the alien up a bit.
"That name. How can I shorten it? What was it? Aura...Issie...Je something?"
Diane pondered over the matter, before shrugging,
"Screw it, I'll call her Issie. It can just be a nickname, like DD."
Suddenly, there was a clash, Diane had been daydreaming and not looking where she was going.
"Ah, I'm glad I bumped into you, here you go... Issie."
Aura gave her a stern look, before taking the object. She bit it, and when she was satisfactory of the making, she slapped Diane across the face. Then she pat Diane's head to make sure everything was good between them.
"I'm guessing I'll have to get used to getting a few slaps from you."
She chuckled, and the two skipped off into the sunset made their way home.
Once they were home, Diane collected the mail and Aura sat in the kitchen, eating some kitchen roll.
"Bumf, bumf, bumf, carnival leaflet, bills, bumf, vouchers, bumf..."
"Bumf?"
"Junk mail. Well here's the carnival if you're interested. Want to go?"
Aura couldn't actually read the language yet, so she just looked at the pictures, and nodded. Then she ate the paper, as she had grown bored of the kitchen roll. Diane facepalmed and then got something to eat for herself.
(Meanwhile)
"Rover! Rover! Aura's gone!"
The guard stood in shock, "Are you completely sure?"
"Yes! Yes! I sent some guards to look around the country but they couldn't find her! What if she left the planet?!"
The queen began to break down and cry, wet tears streaming down her cheeks as she wallowed in sadness.
"Then we shall send every volunteer we can out to get her."
(Back on the planet Earth)
Aura had been helping Diane with the farm chores, her magic was incredibly powerful, especially since there wasn't actaully any pure magic on earth. Aura shot beams in to the sky, broke the sound barrier causing a massive explosion (but made sure to heal everythign afterwards) and made things have life. Before long, the kettle was helping with the planting too, and so were some of the sporks! Aura had initially asked why Diane even has sporks, to which she replied that she likes them, to which she then in turn got a slap.
"Huh, what's this, mr peg?"
"It's mail you didn't open!"
"Oh, why thank you, peg."
Diane opened the letter, and began reading. Aura stared at her for a lenghty time while the household appliances did the farm chores.
"My cousin wants me to visit. She lives in the city. Do you want to come? I haven't seen her for a good three years."
"Ok!"
"Well then we'll take a plane in a few days, you just need to put a protection spell over the farm so he crops don't die."
"Duh!" Aura exclaimed and slapped Diane.
"You know, it's not funny anymore."
"Racist."
"It's not!"
"I don't know the rules of this place!"
Aura argued, she had been practicing English all the time she was here, and had gotten quite good at it. They then started planning their trip to see Diane's cousin.
The next few days were pretty stress-free, we just talked about the trip really, and I got to have some of DD's clothes. It was a good week, since the chairs did the chores for us. The time for the trip approached quickly, and we took many hours of transport to where Diane's cousin was. We had a grand time with him. We went to the beach, he showed us around and I got some cool souvenirs. But I still missed my home, I just felt too guilty to go back. We were on the beach when it happened, the earth began to shake. I knew not of this happening, and so continued on my buisness. He said it was normal, and to ignore it basically. So, we did, but it soon became apparent that this was no standart earthquake. It kept shaking, and the waves crashed angrily above us. Everything went black for a while, and the strangest thing happened... After the big waves, I was seperated from DD and her cousin, I didn't now what happened. I wandered around trying to find them, things looked different. I thought I was dreaming, but that I was not. The guards got me, the guards from my planet. They helped me search for a while but... DD was gone. So were a lot of other people. I was never told what happened, even now, over 5 years later. I'm back on my home planet now though. I married and had 2 children. I still have the necklace DD gave me. Sometimes I like to time travel and spend time with her again. Sometimes I bring my kids to meet her. But when we come back to the present, she's still dead. The accident wrote itself in history, and I will never forget. But it surely has shaped me in to the mature being I am today, and I use those morals everyday. My family goes down to Earth too, and we help with building things, to avoid accidents like that in the future.
We see everything, out power is mighty.
We are the all seeing eye.
