Chapters Trixie walked into the room for learning and looked to see which unicorns also passed and what type of unicorns did. The first pony she saw was a red stallion with dark blue, straight mane. he crumbled at the amount of ponies there were. Suddenly he crumbed more when a cheery mare just came up to him and said a gleeful hello. She was brown with a grey snout and black mane, and she had blue eyes, with a cutie mark of blue swirls around the moon, which looked like Luna's mane.
"Hiya there" she said to Trixie all of a Sudden
"Ahem," Trixie responded "Exactly why do you say hi to ponies you don't even know?!"
"We will know each other later, anyway." The mare responded.
Obviously Trixie didn't like her at all. If she was asked to live that with mare, it would feel like a nightmare to Trixie. Trixie groaned. She thought why that mare had to be so annoying. At that moment of thought Princess, or rather teacher Luna, arrived. She was flying down gracefully with a serious face and once she landed she smiled.
"I believe all of you to be well prepared." She said as everypony got into two lines with Trixie at the back facing that shy stallion, whom she thought as wimpy. But a bully was standing next to him, and on purpose he used his magic to carry the shy stallion to the front. But before he could run back, Luna had started.
"Good morning to all!" She said in her royal canterlot voice. "Oh, sorry." she said softly. " now, anyway, first things first I need to know your names," said Luna "first mmm... You! Tell me your name and show me what you've got, your magic skills." She pointed towards the shy stallion.
"Uhhhh..... Me???" He asked crumbling down.
"Yes you." Luna replied
"Hum... Ok" he replied shyly "My name is Feather Ray and this is what I can do, representing my cutie mark...."
A spark came from his horn. Suddenly feathers came out of everywhere, and then he merged it back to where they came from. All was surprised. Such a scared pony should have been of no use- what Trixie thought. It went on and on, till finally it came to that cheery mare who Trixie wanted to know. She introduced herself
"The name's Moon Shimmer!" She said,"this is something I can show you!"
Suddenly, Moon Shimmer rose the moon, and then turned into blue fog. Then, she went into a filly's dream, beckoning Luna to come with her. She had Luna's powers! For some reason, Trixie detested it, because she was jealous of Moon. She hated her.
"Now you," Luna said, pointing at Trixie "wait, I know who you are, you stole the alicorn amulet! I don't need to ask your name, Trixie! But still, I must accept you as a student"
Trixie showed Luna an amazing spell, that moment of terror went off. Trixie was quite relieved.
As days went by, Luna grew Fond of Trixie and Moon Shimmer, but still, Trixie disliked Moon Shimmer, but still liked Luna and thought of her to be a cool, interesting, talented teacher.
Author's Note
As you can see the name moon shimmer, not sunset shimmer, was inspired by sunset shimmer. Moon? It is obvious it came from moon dancer. Sorry about how long I took on this!
Luna's Greatest Fear
After a Few days of Teaching, Luna became more popular than ever. One day, when she entered her room, she decided to take a look at old things she used before getting banished to the moon.
She sighed" I guess it's time I take a look at old stuff!"
She looked through all her cupboards, when suddenly she came across a mirror, recognised to be the Mirror Of The Moon, A banished object that supposedly appeared in Luna's room. It told her that she should rise the moon when it was supposed to be day, and that turned her into Nightmare Moon. At that time Princess Luna didn't realise that this "mirror" was really a fake just made by the Nightmare forces to brainwash her.
Luna decided to try it out once more.
"You will be banished from equestria by your own sister! She's a traitor!" The mirror dramatically responded.
"Wait," Luna interrupted, "you said that when I asked you whether I should forgive Tia and move on. But when I continued on that path of bitterness, I got banished to the moon. That means the traitor must be you!"
"Well, well Luna, how long did it take you to find out?" The mirror responded.
Then, in the mirror a figure appeared. It seemed rather familiar. It was Nightmare Moon! It was her speaking to Luna all this while.
"You!" Luna shouted. "Why you little-"
"Oh please, don't start bickering like a foal.'' Nightmare moon snapped, covering Luna's mouth. "And just if you wondered, I came into you and turned you into me last time! Ha! How weak you are!''
Luna stubbornly said, "that was last time, please."
"Well, I don't care, because I'll be back, you hear me! Because when I was defeated by the elements of harmony, I was sent to the most devastating, unescapable place of Tartarus. But I've found a way out!"
"You won't!" Luna shouted!
"You can't say I won't!" Nightmare Moon snapped.
"No!" Luna shouted "Never!"
Luna got so angry and fed up, she threw the mirror on the ground, lifted her front hooves off the ground, and, with full force, slammed them back down, smashing the mirror into bits.
"Fool!" Nightmare moon said, taunting Luna "did you think by smashing the mirror you could stop me?"
Princess Celestia, hearing this noise, immediately came up to Luna's room to see what was happening. She overheard some of it and knew what was going on
"Be careful, sister. We will not know what will happen later." Celestia said.
Author's Note
This was supposed to be before this story, but Since the action and amusement were pretty good, I decided to put it here. And yeah, I know where the Bickering like a foal part came from.
Luna's decision
Princess Celestia walked down the Castle's Corridor to find her sister, Princess Luna looking out of the window, sadly.
"why are you so sad?" Celestia asked Luna
"Uhm, Oh nothing." Luna responded smiling dishonestly.
"Luna", Celestia retorted "I know you're lying when you make that face."
Luna groaned and said "Fine. It is just that everypony likes you and knows you, but many do not know me, and some do not even like me. How do I get them to know me? How? The reason I didn't say so was because it was something really selfish of me to think of."
"Ah," Celestia said "you might have thought you were selfish but what you said was true. And I think I was selfish, not you. you should start to accept students, like I do, probably that is the reason everyone knows me."
"What?! I, I can't! I wouldn't!" Luna responded.
"Well, that is your choice, sister, if you want ponies to know you"
Luna sighed at this and thought about herself- to do or to not. Just as celestia was about to leave, Luna stopped her.
"Wait," She cried "I will!"
"Good," Celestia said "I'll get the things ready!"
Celestia used her Golden magic to make it ready. Suddenly, out of nowhere, books, parchment, quills, decorations, a map of Equestria, a compass, chalks, and a blackboard came and Celestia arranged them using magic. Luna's eyes brightened up.
She sent the message out to every Unicorn in Equestria which wasn't a magic student of any princess and sent them a test, too. finally, the ones who wanted to be in Luna's 'class' were selected according to who did well in it.
Earlier, when the letters were sent, one unicorn, in a hood hiding her face also, despite doing something very wrong, had received it. She sighed and decided to enroll, and do the test. After reading the letter, she took of the hood, revealing the face of Trixie, but with a fixed attitude and much to her surprise, got one of the highest.

How could I make Trixie not get good marks?
Some time after Luna talked with Nightmare moon, some strange news about her spread Equestria. However, Celestia persuaded the ponies that it wasn't Luna's fault. They got persuaded. The news was that Luna destroyed a building in Canterlot, out of her madness. Celestia knew what this meant- it meant Nightmare Moon was returning, & the Nightmare forces were trying to get hold of her sister once more. Knowing this, Celestia despaired. Nightmare Moon was surely going to return.
She knew what was going to happen to herself, so, she wrote to Princess Cadance:
Celestia sent it to Cadance and tried finding a way to get Luna's students out of danger. Then, evacuation homes were built upon Celestia's order. It seemed that suddenly Luna became like Nightmare Moon, but few moments later, she was back to Luna. That meant the nightmare forces hadn't fully taken control of Luna.
It so happened that once, during a class she nearly destroyed the place, until Trixie jumped on her, telling her to snap out Of it. However, Luna, or rather Nightmare Moon escaped. She attacked Celestia. The class was called off.
"Sister, why do you do this?" Celestia asked, sadly.
"Well, you should know, Celestia, and I am not your sister!" Luna cried & ran away.
Celestia chased after, but of course, Luna noticed. They galloped up a narrow, winding, rather old fashioned, torch lit stairs. First Luna summoned a locked door, making it appear before Celestia, but Celestia summoned a strong axe, & broke the door down. Next Luna shot a wave of arrows at Celestia, who blocked them using a shield. Finally, they reached the top . It was a dark, cold room, With a window at the top.
Luna said "you will now face your doom & rot away."
Luna rose the moon, then dramatically, her teeth sharpened, her mane expanded, she darkened, armour appeared all over her, and her eyes turned evil. She turned into Nightmare Moon!
Soon news spread over Equestria about Nightmare Moon. Celestia had disappeared. Ponies were put in evacuation homes, and Princess Cadance took over.
