Rise Of The Predator 6.

The evil tyrant is waiting impatiently for the shield in the Crystal Empire to collapse again.  He tried the first time to get inside, but princess Cadence's shield barrier rose again and it pierced off King Sombra's horn.  Though his own has been cut off, it's dark magic went underground and slowly took over each crystals.  Satisfied of seeing the result, Sombra laughs evilly and used his magic to create his own horn again.  His smile grew wider when the shield has finally dissipated as his own large shadows rose up above several ponies.

"Ahhhhh my little crystal slaves." He hissed to them as all of the crystal ponies were huddled and scared for life.

Before continuing to his speech, Sombra hears one of his traps set and sees a pony grabbing her hands on the crystal heart.  He gritted his teeth and used dark magic to trap the pony inside the top tower.  He then notices that a little dragon has gotten his claws on the heart shouting out to his friends that he got it.  That gotten Sombra real angry and nothing will stand in his way to get what he wants back.

"That crystal is MINE!!!" King Sombra yelling out as his shadows began to move fast and creating more dark crystals.

Sliding up in his shadows, he pours down some dark magic on the ground to rise in the air.  His own victory is imminent as he sees the little dragon fall off and accidentally let go of the crystal as both it and him were falling right into Sombra's sight.  His own body armor is showing onto him thanks the crystal heart's powering light that dissipated Sombra's shadow and into his own body form.  Nevertheless, he licked his teeth and reaching out his hands to grab it.  Before finally grabbing onto the crystal heart within one a few more inches, some pony else grabs it on time, along with Spike riding onto the pony.

"WHHHHAAAAAAT!!!?" Sombra shouted out loud, turning his head and his eyes widen to see it was Princess Cadence.

"THAT CRYSTAL HEART IS MINE AND MINE ALONE!!!"

Now that the crystal heart is safe in princess Cadence's magic thanks to Spike bringing it to her, every crystal ponies in joy began to pour their magic into the crystal heart's energy and using it will be able to restore the Empire and lifting the snow storm.  Sombra gritted his teeth in anger, knowing that his ruling over Equestria is now over. Before collapsing in defeat from his own traitorous slave ponies, unbeknownst to Twilight and her friends while they cheered for Spike grabbing the crystal hear safe, an idea popped in Sombra's head as his voice is slowing laughing and growing more louder from his evil mouth.  Every pony was confused as to why he's laughing, knowing he will be defeat by the crystal heart.  His eyes grew darker that he forgotten to activate his trump card before trying to take back his own Empire.

"You may have taken back your precious Crystal Empire back, but I have one last trick up my hooves."

Sombra then looked around to see which pony he would temporary use for now.  He sees only a few ponies at the balcony of the Empire tower.  He shook his head upon thinking that they are not worth controlling.  Then he gazes at the stallion in purple armor with a blue mane and tail color.  He licked his fangs in interest as he channeled in some dark magic from his horn and into his own hands. He then throws it at the stallion, knowing that some pony else will try and rescue their poor captain.  One of the royal guard Pegasus with a white mane and blue eyes, notices it and quickly flew to push Shining Armor out of the way before the guard got him by Sombra's dark magic and collapses from hitting the wall balcony entrance.

Shining Armor quickly got up off the floor and runs to see what happened to his guard, then glares at King Sombra.

"What have you done to my friend you monster?!" Shining shouted at him, which Sombra smirks and ignores him completely.

King Sombra then uses dark magic telepathy in thought to the royal guard stallion's mind.  Swift's mind and body went limp as his own eyes grew green.  He smiles and looks up to his new king while still in mind control from Sombra's dark magic.

'Go my loyal subject, an old friend of mine is sleeping south underground from the Empire and he is needed to wake up soon.'

"As you wish my King." The royal guard muttered as he stretches out his wings and flew high, going south fast from the Empire.

"Swift Blade wait!" Shining called out to his friend, but no luck and continues to harden his glare at Sombra.

"Enjoy your moment of victory you puny ponies, but my old friend will awaken soon, that you cannot hope to defeat or kill."

As the crystal heart is fully complete, Cadence moves it to the center of the Crystal Empire.  It then activates to destroying the dark crystals and lift up the snow storm.  King Sombra's own body is slowly growing brighter from the crystal heart's effect.  He knew that it'll destroy him completely, but he doesn't care as left one final speech message to every pony out loud.

"Equestria will soon fall, the Elements of Harmony will shatter into nothing, and not even your worthless princesses will save any of you this time.  Kingdoms will crumble away, peaceful lands will be no more, and everything else will BURN INTO TOTAL DARKNESS!!!!!"

With one last evil laughter, his body and armor is completely gone.  Equestria and the Crystal Empire has been saved once again from the tyrant.  Yet his own speeches has cause most ponies in the Empire afraid and feared on what he had said.  Even Twilight and her friends were also frighten as well since Sombra has a friend out there and they don't know where exactly.

There was just one question every pony's mind, who was it that King Sombra unleashed from using his last trick on a royal guard?

Couple of days later...

Deep below underground in an empty room, there lies a human statue in a fighting stance that is trying his best to break out of his prison cell.  Each part of the cell has been enchanted with multiple chains to keep hold.  Suddenly, out came dark magic popping out everywhere in the room.  They slashed away each useless chains easily.  Then the prison cell has broken apart and flown away with loud sounds.  The dark magic was gone and appears the royal guard named Swift Blade, still in mind control.  He walks up to the human statue and places something on the human's chest.  He then leans into the human's left ears and whispers to him saying.

"Arise my lord, King Sombra wishes for you to wake up out of your stone prison." Swift said as he disappears with dark magic.

An aftershock earthquake has erupted in the empty room.  The human's stone body is slowly cracking up from piece by piece.  His own eyes has shown itself and bright blue eyes glows wider.  After finally each stone pieces has been shattered off of his body, he then teleports out of the empty and back onto Equestria's soil ground, along with his dragon armor with him.  He unleashes a massive roar that everything in his path has been flown away, large rocks were shattering into pieces, trees went flying away, and even little critters running their dear lives from him.  Exhausted and coughing a couple of times, he opens up his eyes to see that it's night outside and speaks softly.

"You have done well at the end of your bargain King Sombra, but there has been a new change of plans for me."

He inhales and exhales in the air and holding up his right hand up in the sky.  Focusing upon his new magic, five little blue birds appeared in his hand.  He whistles to them in a strange code to them.  Five birds nodded to their master and flew up high in different directions to find each hidden stone prison spots.  The human laughs loudly and stares up to a big kingdom and starting up his speech.

"My brothers and sisters, once I have awaken all of you from slumber, the age of Equestria will be at an end.  Soon every inferior ponies and pathetic creatures, for I am the predator leader named Volcarnia X and you will all feel my wrath!"
