Mere weeks after Applejack and Rainbow Dash broke up, the tension between the two mares is still high as they try to avoid each other as much as possible. Their friends are trying their best to cheer them up again and get their minds off what'd happened, but even that doesn't do anything.

Soon, however, the two former lovers will learn that fate has a rather interesting way of making things difficult and toying with them. Decisions must be made and ideals sacrificed as events of both old and new come to light... but will Applejack and Rainbow Dash ever realize that they are the very reason behind all the turmoil?

This happens to be my first venture into the Romance genre as a whole, so please don't expect absolute perfection from me as I'm still learning myself. In addition, no clop scenes will be included in this story, but there will be the occasional kiss and hug. Sorry about that, but I'm just not a clop writer.
