Stepping outside, I took a quick look around. "excuse me mister but ah.... you never gave us a name"

I blinked twice then let out a chuckle. "I suppose i should give you one," I scratched my chin for a moment.

"ah... too many memories tagged to my old name... I let you know when i think of one" they all looked at me in confusion.

I simply walked around the house. the three ponies and dragon looked at each other trying to figure out what i meant.

"Hey, my bike!! and my stuff!!" as they galloped around th corner, all they could see was me doing a little happy dance.

"er, Sugarcube, what the hay are you doin?" I picked up the bag and simply shouted the phrase be right back.

Again confusion crept up on them. "So as I was saying, yeah... I need a new name" I stepped out of the house wearing a long trench coat, purple jeans and black boots. As if on cue, a pink blur darted towards me. "OH I Know!!! HOW ABOUT-" some how the pink blur was silenced by applejack. I simply raised an eyebrow. "so, what can you tell us about yourself?" I heard Twilight ask. I looked over to the inquisitive mare for a brief moment, then sighed. I picked up the guitar case and rested it against the wall as i sat down. "the summary or the whole thing?" she looked confused for a moment, then asked for the whole back story.

"My father worked the mines until the day it took his life, It stole him from his only son and it stole him from his wife. After that, it all went south for me," I watched the purple unicorn's eyebrow raise, "I started a punk band, singing about different topics but.... we kinda split yesterday and.... damn" I looked down for a moment, I the picked up the motorbike to find the problem.

they watched as i continued to check it. "what's wrong with it?" I took the key out of the ignition.

"absolutely nothing apart from the front wheel being a bit damaged, and shards of glass...." Fluttershy shot me a slightly indignant look, or at least tried to. "I crashed through your window didn't I, Fluttershy" she simply nodded at the statement.

I simply facepalmed. I got to my feet once more and simply sighed. "well... I owe you one window" I then chuckled.

"so, where are we going anyways?" I asked. Applejack pointed towards a small town just over that hill.

I looked a little puzzled for a moment, "Ponyville huh? well, lets rock!"

after a short walk and a few words, we arrived in Ponyville Town Square. As my gaze flitted from building to building, I couldn't help but notice....

Everypony was hiding.

I simply smiled and stood in the middle of town square. I then took a deep breath.

the six mares turned to face me for a moment. I shot them a small smile before clicking my fingers.

Without thinking I cried out "HELLO PONYVILLE!" I instinctively reached for my guitar. Twilight looked at me in confusion for a moment. "Twilight, I figured the best way to prove i'm friendly was to do this" I plunked the strings for a moment, tuning up...

and then began to strum while singing a badly written song.

with nothing else to do.

forgotten what i wrote,

so sod it, How are you?"

An awkward silence pervaded the air for a moment until the ponies finally came out of their homes. I greeted them with a small smile and bow.
