5 Billion Years before Nightmare Moon

The endless dark abyss, illuminated by countless stars, was all that could be seen around the cosmos. All that scattered the endless dark was the massive Sun; Aionios, "Everlasting" in the ancient language...was dying. For time immeasurable, this Sun reigned supreme over the solar system. But even stars must die, nothing is truly immortal. As Aionios grew larger and larger, it was consuming numerous worlds that once lived off its warmth. But once it had reach its absolute mass, Aionios went supernova, scattering like a wave of light and fire; this light burned and destroyed any surrounding planets that once avoided its reach. All was now dark, and all was lifeless.

After a billion years of endless dark, something emerged from the destruction of Aionios. Scattered remnants of the dead Sun's light began to stir with their own life. For millions of years, each fragment began to gather back together, meeting where Aionios once resided. Among the trillions of lights that soured amidst space, only a few hundreds made it. As they grew closer, these lights began to take a new form; they were massive, yet mere insects compared to the once mighty Aionios. Their new forms were strange and more corporeal; four, slender legs hung from their new bodies, ending with four flat hooves that radiated light. A single long, pointed horn protruded from the foreheads of their rounded heads, ending with a mane of light and stardust flowed in the cosmic winds. A similar cosmic tail sprung from their smooth rears and at their sides were a pair of mighty wings with feather made of the same dark abyss as their horns.

The final act of this transformation, was the opening of their new eyes, that were as white and burning; mirroring the only connection they still held to the now ancient Aionios. As these new creatures looked upon the space around them, the very spot they stared in unison sparked with vast amounts of light and energy that began to circle around itself, growing in mass; in mere moments, a new star was born. Though it was less than a fraction of Aionios' former mass, this new star still brought light back to the dark system.

"Anesti." Was the first word spoken from these creatures' mouthless heads. Their voices speaking in unison as they had subconsciously named this new Sun. Anesti would forever be the name of this Sun; its existence always connected to the rising of this new race. The vast light illuminating off Anesti allowed these beings to look upon themselves. They were all identical to the other, and all shared the same voice and thoughts. "Kosmikos." Was the next word they spoke, forever naming this new species the Kosmikos.

3.5 Billion Years before Nightmare Moon

With the creation of Anesti and the naming of the Kosmikos, these cosmic being realized there was nothing left in the system since the death of Aionios. Looking around their empty system, all that could be seen was the slag, and floating debris of all the planets that died from the supernova. These rocks held no life and just floating in the abyss. With a single, wordless thought and raising their horns in unison, the Kosmikos emitted a vast light, one that was enhanced by the warmth Anesti provided them. All at once, the rocks and slag glowed with the same shade of light the Kosmikos produced, moving with great speed, and colliding into each other. Again and again, the rocks of all sizes smashed into each other, creating larger and larger rocks of molten fire. After millions of years, the molten rocks finally settled together, forming the nine primary planets of the solar system. The Kosmikos looked upon their new creations and became more and more curious of what else they were capable of. But among the nine planets, one held the singular interest of the Kosmikos. This planet held within it rocks that contained faint remnants of Aionios' light that could not join and become Kosmiko.

"Alitheia." The Kosmikos spoke in unison, naming this barren planet. This planet would become the center of their efforts, where the true nature of their powers and their limits would be revealed.

Uniting their lights again, the Kosmikos brought fragments of the floating light infused rocks together, forming a new planet-like structure nearly a fourth the size of Alitheia but light of Anesti seemed increase the power this small planet possessed, along it to shift the surface of the Alitheia, maintaining it and holding it firm together.

"Odigos." The Kosmikos called this structure, to serve as the guide that would lead and protect Alitheia. "The light of Anesti strengthen Odigos and with it, protects Alitheia."

3 Billion Years before Nightmare Moon

The Kosmikos had spent nearly a billion years shaping the other planets, but never focusing as much care into their work as they had done to Alitheia. After the formation of the planet and its Moon, the Kosmikos had all but left the planet barren and molten. Again, the Kosmikos shared a new, curious thought: "If we were born from the loss of Aionios, how many others might exist?"

This question was not one the Kosmikos could simply put off, but neither could they abandon their solar system so easily; some would have to remain. It was decided that the Kosmikos would be divided. Three would be left to watch and look after Alitheia and Odigos, while the remaining would scatter across the universe looking for more like them. Among the three who remained, they all separated their minds from each other, becoming individual, rather than three of the same mind. This decision was made to ensure a greater success for the growth and development of Alitheia.

Kataskevastis crafted The Pinnacle, a massive spire that was built near Alitheia's core. With it, the three were able to reshape the surface, forming long and high mountain ranges, deep ridges, vast landscapes and endless oceans. Ouranos formed the atmospheres, allowing Alitheia to hold liquid water, as well as form the other elements. This brought about storms of rain and earthquakes to make the land fertile. Mitera was the last to give to Alitheia, but what she gave was no less important than the others. She would give life, being the creatorof all the most primitive of beings that would live upon the planet. These three Kosmikos would watch over the planet, it would be the three who would be the creators of all things, they would nurture the land, cultivate it, and watch over it for any signs of it falling back into the dark abyss from whence it came.

600 Million Years before Nightmare Moon

With the Pinnacle shaping the land and Odigos solidified it's shape, Alitheia was now fully founded. Kataskevastis, Ouranos, and Mitera all looked upon the lands, sea, and skies of Alitheia and saw only the planet. No life to inhabit it. Mitera then reached down and a single touch of her hoof upon the fertile land, endless forests bursts forth, changing the planet to a lush green. Ouranos saw this and wished to do the same. Spreading his wings, he flew over the land, as the air distorted from his speed, the waters of the vast sea rose into the air, being collected in the puffs of whitened air. These became the clouds that would rain the blessings of the sea, giving life to Mitera's new trees, and provide shade from Anesti's light.

As Mitera's trees and lush forests were washed by Ouranos' clouds and rain, Kataskevastis saw how the clouds were slowly bubbling, and the leaves of the trees became brown and shattered upon the dirt covered ground. Looking at how the heat Anesti gave was burning the land, Kataskevastis raised his horn and with his light, moved Odigos to cover it. Though too small to fully conceal it, the Moon was still able to block off the Sun's light. However, this proved to do more harm, as Anesti's light provided warmth and life to Alitheia. Raising his horn again, Kataskevastis moved away the Moon and brought back the Sun's light. But this time, Kataskevastis utilized the Pinnacle, allowing Alitheia to begin rotating. But rotation wasn't enough, Kataskevastis turned to his fellow Kosmikos for aid. Ouranos spread his wings and with his speed, carved a orbit around the Sun for both the planet and Moon to follow. Mitera, who could not move such heavenly bodies with her own light, but instead, she send her light to the Pinnacle, fueling the device's rotation of the planet.

500 Million Years before Nightmare Moon

Alitheia was now more suitable for greater, more complex forms of life; Mitera looked upon the forests and trees she spawned and still found the world empty. Only the noise of trees and leaves filled the air. Being too busy with maintaining Alitheia's core and the Pinnacle, Kataskevastis could not help Mitera; so she turned to Ouranos for aid. Combining their light together, Mitera and Ouranos combined the element of the earth, wind, and a lock of their own cosmic mane together. This new creation took on the same form of the Kosmikos, but their bodies were of solid earth, their wings could move the weather around them, and their horns radiated the same light as their creators.

"Alicorn." Mitera called this new creature, using her light to generate more and more of them; soon the Alicorns grew to the near billions. "Once we were the creation, now we are the creators." But Mitera looked upon the Alicorns again, and felt something was missing.

The Alicorns emulated their creators, but missed something vital, free will. They had no purpose, no free thought, and wandered aimlessly around Alitheia; carrying within only an emptiness. Kataskevastis, though impressed at these Alicorns was still too busy maintaining the planet to assist Mitera, and Ouranos was content enough and felt the Alicorns were fine as they were. But Mitera wanted more for her new children. Raising her horn, Mitera bestowed her light upon them. Fractions upon fractions of Mitera's light rained upon the Alicorns like a golden mist, giving new twinkles of life in their countless eyes. This gift gave the Alicorns a new perspective on themselves and the world around them. But like their Kosmikos predecessors, the Alicorns looked upon each other and were curious. Spreading their wings, the Alicorns scattered in all directions. Some flew in small groups, while other flew in massive colonies. Mitera looked upon the Alicorns now with pride, and hope for their endless potential.

300 Million Years before Nightmare Moon

The new Alicorn race lived on a scattered continents of Alitheia. With their physical strength, the land moved under them, forming more detailed canyons and large mountains. Their wings created vast storms rages, revitalizing the land and bringing forth seasons. But among these changes, the Alicorns began to show something strange. As they were made from the Kosmikos' own lock of Cosmic mane, they were able to use the same light as the Kosmikos. This light was greatly weaker than their creators on their own; but together, these Alicorns could rival that of the Kosmikos.

It was on a bright and warm day that Mitera and Ouranos looked down upon the Alicorns, when they saw something that struck their minds; the Alicorns were making more Alicorns! Somehow, without any knowledge of how to do it, the Alicorns learned to take chunks of the earth, the winds they could gather with their wings, and with the same lights as their makers, the Alicorns gave life to new Alicorns. Before Mitera and Ouranos could fully realize what had happened, the Alicorns had grown near trillions in population. It was in this moment, that Ouranos suggested what must be done; the Alicorns had to be destroyed. Their sheer number could damage the planet, but worst yet, if they held powers that could challenge the Kosmikos, then the Alicorns could pose too much of a threat. Within the confines of the Pinnacle, the three Kosmikos met to decide the fate of the Alicorns.

"The Alicorns must be purged." Ouranos suggested, igniting his horn to show the other two how far the Alicorns have progressed. Within the vision, Alicorns were doing more than making more, but constructing massive monuments of themselves, clearing vast amounts of forest to fuel the forges that helped build their primitive but growing cities. "If we allow them to continue, it is a matter of time before they discover us, or worse, the Pinnacle."

"The Pinnacle is one truth the Alicorns can never learn." Kataskevastis nodded in agreement. "But it is also possible that the Alicorns will not pose a threat. We must not act on base feelings. We are above such concepts."

"The Alicorns might pose a threat, yes." Mitera commented, then she showed a new vision of Alicorns forging great empires, and ushering in a golden age. "But they equally have the potential to become truly sentient, learn, and grow. I suggest allowing them to grow but under our watch."

"But you cannot be the one to do so." Kataskevastis interjected. "You are too fond of these creatures to allow proper punishments should they go astray. But Ouranos is too hostile. There must be a compromise."

"How about a balance." Mitera reluctantly suggested, knowing full well what her idea would bring. "What if there is a being that the Alicorns could flee from, a predator that managed their population, as well as keeping them too distracted to ponder about their creation."

"A neutral suggestion. What say you Ouranos?" Kataskevastis asked.

"I agree, under the condition that I forge the creature." Ouranos gave his counter offer. Looking at his fellow Kosmikos, Ouranos saw their head nod in a unified agreement. "I shall put all my bias aside as I craft this predator, that I promise."

Taking larger portions of earth, and even heavier currents of air, Ouranos shaped this new creation into one that would be larger than even the mountains, and instilled within it was an insatiable hunger for Alicorns. But unlike with the Alicorns, Ouranos used neither his, nor Mitera's cosmic mane, but rather a chunk of the planet's molten core. Though no bigger than an Alicorn's head, this core held enough power to bring Ouranos' creature to life. It's mouth was massive and filled with fangs that split the thickest of trees. Horns, spikes and spines ran along its head and back that split the clouds. Wings that ripped the sky with every motion. Claws that shook the very mantle of the planet with each step. Its eyes were fiery, and sought only its prey. And finally, scales covering the beast's body; completely resistant to the light of the Alicorns' horns.

"You are the greatest of all life, my perfection." Ouranos spoke to the creature with endless pride. "You are Drakon, the Drakon of Ouranos! Now go, and fulfill your purpose."

200 Million Years before Nightmare Moon

For another hundred million years, the Drakon proved highly effective at feeding upon the Alicorns, growing only stronger and hungrier with each meal. The Alicorn's light stood no chance against the beast's scales, and his wings tore all currents of wind, making flight impossible. The Alicorns had no way to escape. Though the Drakon fed voraciously on the Alicorns, it maintained the population of only a few thousand. Ouranos watched how successful his creation had become and left the Alicorns to their fate. Mitera on the other hand felt a sensation never felt before.

"What is this?" Mitera asked herself, her hoof placed upon her chest. Her body felt heavy, and empty. "I am...saddened. I cannot watch my children be devoured by the Drakon any longer. I must do something for them!" But Mitera's heart only felt heavier at the thought of how helpless she really was. What could she do to save her Alicorns?

Though Mitera could do nothing to aid her Alicorns, the Alicorns were not completely helpless. After eons of being prey to the Drakon, the Alicorns felt a new instinct within them; a need to survive. Though their light could not damage the Drakon, over the millennia, the Alicorns themselves had changed. Their former tough bodies had grown soft and fleshy, metamorphosing them into true mortal beings. Their light also changed, cut off from their ancient source of light, the Alicorns began to draw on a new source of power from within themselves; magic. Using this "magic", the Alicorns were able to finally confront their ancient predator. Alicorn Magic could not kill the Drakon, but instead, the scales began to change; as did the creature's entire body, making it as flesh covered as its Alicorn prey.

"What is this?" Ouranos looked upon how his Drakon had been rendered to flesh and blood. A feeling of rage, hatred, and shimmers of fear gripped his thoughts. "How could they have done this? They were suppose to be only focused on survival, how could this have happened?"

"They found a way." Mitera commented, joining her fellow Kosmikos. "Even I do not understand how they became beings of flesh, but they did nonetheless. Call off the Drakon, we can lead the Alicorns in a better direction. Please reconsider your stance."

"Never!" Ouranos snapped, glaring bitterly at the Alicorns as they were driving back the Drakon for the first time. "I shall never see these, these things as little more than a mistake. The Alicorns will be our undoing, and I will not stand by and wait for them to come to us!"

Ouranos broke his vow to withhold his bias feelings and descended upon Alitheia, his very presence radiating as if it were a small Sun on the planet's surface. Gesturing his light towards the Drakon, Ouranos bestowed a gift to his creation; the very rage of Ouranos exploded out of Drakon's mouth in the form of a hellish fire. This fire burned through any defenses the Alicorns could muster, reducing them to blackened ash. Ouranos left Alitheia's surface as quickly as he appeared, only a massive crater where he stood remained. The Alicorns had no time to worry about what had occurred, only that the Drakon was now killing them in creator numbers than before; burning them alive and feasting upon their fallen ashes. Ouranos' return, however, was met with mush disgust; for Mitera had felt betrayed.

"You've broken your vow, violated the natural order, and have now doomed the race you helped sire!" Mitera's voice nearly shattered the air around her. "How could you be blinded by your own fears?"

"Fears? Fears?! The threat the Alicorns show is all too real, not some vague fear." Ouranos defended his view. "Would you wait until the Alicorns rose against us?"

"I will never fear my own children as you do!" Mitera snapped, her anger almost dwarfing Ouranos'. "What I do now is what I should have done."

Mitera turned her gaze down to the Drakon. Raising her horn, Mitera struck at the Drakon, shattering the creature's chest like a brittle sheet of bark. The molten core that acted as the Drakon's heart burned and beat with the creature's last stains of life. It's crimson blood rained upon it's broken scales and drowned the core in a bubbling vat. The core soon cooled and began almost instinctively feeding on the liquid, draining the Drakon until only what remained of his impenetrable scales and bones lay upon the barren ground. This core, more akin to a blood stone now also absorbed some of Mitera's light altering its properties.

"What have I done?" Mitera said to herself, her rage finally subsiding; her heart only filled with sorrow over her rash choice. "I can't let it end this way. There must be something I can do, even Drakon did not deserve such an end."

Using the Bloodstone, Mitera used its unusual influence over the Drakon's fallen scales, molding and shaping them into smaller versions of the Drakon. Though fractions upon fractions of times smaller than their Drakon, these creatures held no need to feed on the Alicorns. Mitera saw new potential, and new life in these smaller Drakons, seeing them as the balance she sought. Not a predator to the Alicorns, but rather another race in which they could share the planet with.

"You were born of a mistake I have made." Mitera told the Drakons, handing them the Bloodstone. "The fault was mine, and for that I can never undo what I have done. But through this act, I only hope you will find a better future than what you once were. Now go forth, not Drakons, but Dragons."

Though Mitera had peacefully sent these new Dragons away, giving them the Bloodstone as a gesture of kindness and hope, even she did not feel the Dragons' instinctual hatred for the Alicorns; but they knew they were too weak to fight the Alicorns. They would leave the Alicorns alone, but would slowly build their power to strike at them again. Ouranos, witnessing all of this, was furious. Seeing not only the death of his own Drakon, but seeing Mitera banishing the newly born Dragons away was only insult to injury. Ouranos was past any negotiations. He turned to use the Pinnacle and wipe the Alicorns from Alitheia. Mitera couldn't allow this, with a heavier heart than she had held before, she used her light and struck at Ouranos.

Despite their disagreements and conflicts, neither Mitera nor Ouranos expected this to happen. Ouranos took the full force of Mitera's light, an attack that pierced his chest and burned through to the other side. The impact was unavoidable and effective, killing Ouranos almost instantly. But Ouranos' body would not fade so easily. As the Kosmikos were born from the death of Aionios, it was only natural for them to release vast quantities of energy as their Sun forbear. Knowing how much could be released, Kataskevastis activated the Pinnacle, protecting the planet surface as best it could from the imminent destruction. Mitera, in her haste, protected as many Alicorns as she could. But in her grief from slaying Ouranos, her protection was not fully focused. The resulting blast from Ouranos' body tore the sky, setting it ablaze with cosmic fire. Mitera's protection was strong, but not strong enough to save all of them, countless Alicorns were instantly reduced to nothingness. As the waves of cosmic energies slowly faded, Alitheia was reduced to its primal, molten surface.

"What have I done?" Mitera's voice trembled in disbelief. Looking around her, Mitera saw both Alicorns and Dragons fleeing from everything around them. But with no land or water to give them sanctuary, both species were doomed. "Kataskevastis? Can nothing be done for them?"

"Something can be done." Kataskevastis commented, calling Mitera down to the planet's core. Within the Pinnacle, Mitera saw only a vast white room, with a singular, metallic sphere in the center. "The Pinnacle serves a dual purpose. It keeps Alitheia stabilized, and keeps in in orbit, but it can also reforge the surface of the planet; and if need be, create new life on it."

"C-can the Pinnacle even birth mortal creatures?" Mitera asked, hoping not to make the same mistake of forging creatures of stone and wind.

"After seeing the Alicorns become mortal beings of flesh, I have modified the Pinnacle to create such creatures." Kataskevastis answered. "But I must warn you, the Pinnacle cannot be used without a price. For what you want to do, it will require your very being. For that I must ask, how much will you sacrifice to save these Alicorns and Dragons?"

"Everything." Mitera answered, pressing her hooves against the metallic sphere.

Using the energies that formed her, Mitera sacrificed her entire being to activate the Pinnacle. As the device was brought to life, the very surface of the planet shook and rumbled; the molten surface slowly cooled, forming hardened earth. The oceans settled and reseeded back to their original place, and new green life sprouted from the ground. Mitera then focused the Pinnacle on creating new life; basic celled organisms blinked into existence, placed upon an evolutionary path that would take millions of years to complete. The Dragons and Alicorns found soft landed and despite their differences, parted ways; though the Dragons and Alicorns would still forever be bitter enemies, for now, they were equals in survival.

"I cannot leave them to walk this world without a guide." Mitera said, her body slowly dissolving into raw energy. Focusing the last of her strength to a single point, Mitera created a new Alicorn; one made in her image. The Alicorn's body appeared to be made of starlight, and her mane, horn, and wings moved like cosmic dust. "There. She will be my replacement, a guide to lead the Alicorns, and honor the sacrifice of myself and Ouranos. Lead them well, Thysia."

"This Thysia holds her memories." Kataskevastis told himself, looking upon the newly shaped planet surface. "She knows of the Pinnacle, but I trust Mitera has made the right choice. I cannot allow the Pinnacle to fall into the hooves of those who would misuse it. But I shall now forsake Ouranos' and Mitera's wishes. For now, i leave the Alicorns to the fate in which they decide."

95 Million Years before Nightmare Moon

Thysia did as she felt she was destined for; leading her race to a better future. Thought the millions of years, the Alicorns bodies slowly changed, their bodies were now solid colors that varied from Alicorn to Alicorn instead of their dark ground shade. the Alicorns, now that they were beings of mortal flesh, could not make more Alicorns the same way they had before. Now, they held reproductive organs, allowing them to mate with each other to birth new Alicorns. But as the millennia passed by, Thysia began feeling something Mitera never believed would happen. Thysia began to fear the Alicorns.

Looking upon the vast achievements the Alicorns were creating, Thysia's heart sank. Their magic, though leagues weaker than their ancient forbears, was still greater than any other being on Alitheia. Even the evolution of the primitive life around them was being halted to further the Alicorns' Empire. Their structures pierced the clouds as they stretched from one end of the massive continent to the other. Worse yet, over the generations, the Alicorns have forgotten their once fragile peace with the dragons, plunging themselves deeper into dragon lands; taking what they wanted and enslaving those who rebelled. The Alicorn's reckless use of their magic was slowly destroying the planet, and Thysia had no way to stop it all.

Thysia did what she never believed had to be done. She ventured from the Alicorn Kingdom and down into the core of the planet; to the Pinnacle. As she walked, Thysia felt every painful memory the Mitera bestowed upon her strike her thoughts. Every tear she shed was one of fear, remorse, and sorrow. Thysia all but begged for Ouranos' forgiveness for not seeing how the Alicorns could be a threat. But also apologized to Mitera for failing to guide them on the proper path. Thysia's thoughts soon faded as she reached the Pinnacle. Within the hallowed halls, Thysia found the single white room, and the metallic sphere.

"You come seeking something?" The voice of Kataskevastis asked.

"I-I-I come to correct a mistake." Thysia answered, unable to find the source of the voice, but never the less felt the overwhelming presence around her. "I cannot lead them, I have failed."

"And what will you do about this failure?" Kataskevastis asked, his voice almost synchronizing to Thysia's heartbeat. "Your true form once used the Pinnacle to save and restore the Alicorn race. Would you now see them destroyed and restored to cosmic dust and energy?"

"I...i don't..." Thysia had now words to reply to the ancient being. How could she go against everything she was made for. But the Alicorns could not be allowed to run free. "I want them to survive, but I want them to not destroy Alitheia. Please, tell me what must be done. I desperately need your council."

"I have watched and protected this planet since its creation. I have seen the land break and burn. But I have also seen life given to Alitheia." Kataskevastis then appeared before Thysia. He appeared the same as she did but many times bigger. "I ask you this, what would you be willing to sacrifice for these Alicorns?"

"Everything!" Thysia answered, her voice emulating Mitera's from so many millennia ago.

"Very well, I shall not interfere." Kataskevastis answered, stepping aside. "But know this, for what you are about to achieve, you will become as mortal as the Alicorns you wish to lead."

Thysia stepped to the device, activating the Pinnacle to its full effect. Immediately, Thysia felt her eternal life draining away, the light her body released slowly began to fade to a dim glow. Thysia felt herself slowly vanishing but held herself together, sending more and more power to the Pinnacle. As Thysia fed herself to the device, the Pinnacle's effect on Alitheia struck the Alicorn Kingdom hard and fast. Fire rained from the skies, igniting the land and destroying the monuments of the Alicorns. The whole of the planet's surface broke and massive tidal waves crushed the land. Under them, the land split apart; the once massive continent was shattered into several smaller continents, leaving only a single island at the center of the world for the Alicorns to seek shelter.

"That is enough." Kataskevastis said, pulling Thysia free from the Pinnacle. "What you have done was more than your predecessors could achieve, a true compromise. Your life is that of a mortal. You have millions of lifetimes remaining, but you will fade back to the cosmic energies that forged you. Now go, and lead the Alicorns in the hour of need."

"Thank you ancient one." Thysia bowed to Kataskevastis before departing. When Thysia emerged from the core of Alitheia, she wept at the sight before her. The sky was red and fiery, the seas churned and thrashed violently, and worst of all, the Alicorns were reduced to only less than a thousand. "My Alicorns, the planet itself has struck us down at our most arrogant, we must survive, but we must also learn. A singular kingdom spanning the land is too much for our kind to handle. We must scatter and forge new homes among the new lands." Thysia's words struck at the Alicorns' ears, looks of hope and confidence twinkled in their eyes as they spread their wings and left the island, only Thysia was left. "I only hope I have made the right choice."

Igniting her horn, Thysia gathered the waters around the land mass, whirling and churning the surround sea violently. As the water coiled and whirlpool, the island slowly began to sink. Though not being submerged underwater, the thrashing waters provided the perfect cover for the island; forever hiding the entrance to the Pinnacle in a shield of water, air, and mist. Thysia spread her wings, knowing she could not remain on the Pinnacle's island when she had so much to do. Taking to the air, Thysia looked out across the endless planet.

"They will need me. Of that I am certain." She told herself, turning her gaze to the north. "For now, I must create a haven for them to seek when the time is right."

Flying to the north, Thysia found a large continent of land, one easily large enough to form a sizable country. Landing in the dead center of this land, creating a massive crater with the impact. Scanning the land for any life, Thysia saw there was none. Taking a deep breath, Thysia raised her horn, shaking the land with her magic. The ground cracked under the pressure of Thysia's spell, forcing massive shards of crystal to burst from the ground. As the crystals shifted and formed from the ground, Thysia's wings took her to the sky, her horn and eyes glowing from the vast quantity of magic she was producing for her spell. Then, just as bright as her spell was, the light eventually dimmed; leaving Thysia standing, with a massive crystallized castle around her.

"This will be their beacon of unity, when they are ready." Thysia said, stepping inside the crystal structure. "Their Citadel...their salvation...their hope."
