Facet could say he was an old friend of Klein. His protege more specifically. For a time, they'd been best friends who liked comparing their female conquests. But after chaffing under Klein's blatant misogyny and falling in love, Facet put that behind him. He ended his friendship with Klein, and the sleeping around lifestyle, to commit to one woman.

Looks like Klein just couldn't let him. He's going to learn why it's a bad idea to cross Facet.
