It’s intentions were unknown but one thing was sure, trouble was brewing... Down in Ponyville a young mare was standing walking towards the town’s flower shop. Before she entered she stopped to once again admire the building where she has spent many hours working alongside her co-workers. All of the different sorts of flowers were beautifully arranged in the front of the front. That was definitely her favourite part of the building. The mare continued on her previous path and walked inside the building. “Hi girls I’m back,” said the mare with a smile. That smile showed how much she loved her job. She was really lucky to have it. “Hi Violet,” replied two voices. Working in the room were Lily and Daisy. The former was busy with a bouquet and the later was on her lunch brake and was enjoying a sunflower sandwich. That sandwich indeed looked delicious and Violet suddenly got hungry. “Where is Rose?” asked Violet. “She is down at the market remember?” answered Daisy. “Oh, yes of course. Silly me,” said violet slightly embarrassed. “How did the delivery go? Were there any problems?” asked Lily. Violet Petals worked as a delivery mare and gardener at the flower shop and as the shop’s representative it was important that she did everything perfectly. “Of course it did,” said Violet, “Have you two thought that I would mess something up? It has never happened before and it will never happen. Unless I try of course.” The gardener was now glaring at her friends. The tensions was high in the room as the other two mares looked shocked, even scared slightly. That tension lasted until Violet broke into laughter, her two friends joined her in it. They laughed like that for a moment or two until Daisy spoke, still giggling slightly.”you know you almost had me there for a second,” she said. “Oh you know I would never do that to you girls,” said Violet. “Yes we do Violet, yes we do,” said Lily and embraced her friends in a hug. Once they were done with the hug and everypony calmed down they all sat down. “So what things do we have left to do today?” asked Lily. Violet took a moment and tried to remember all the orders they had for today.”Well, we have the two bouquets we have to deliver in the evening and I have to go Filthy Rich’s home to plan out the new garden decorations. I think that’s everything. “Well that shouldn’t be too big of a problem. Lily has already started on one of the bouquets and if you go now, you should be done just in time to deliver those bouquets,” said Daisy. “Well that’s easy for you two say. I am the one who has to actually go there and make sure everything is to their liking. There is no way to know how long I’ll be there,” replied Violet. “Okay okay, you have a point but remember to act properly. As rude and irritating they can be they are still very important customers that we can’t afford to lose,” said Lily. “Oh come on, we just talked about how I never messed up.” “We know Violet but imagine the horror we would suffer if something bad happened,” replied Lily. “The horror! The horror!” Said Daisy while shaking Violet with her eyes closed. “Okay, I know that already,” said Violet, “I have to go now or I might be late.” “Bye Violet,” said Daisy. “Remember to be careful!” added Lily.” “I will, bye,” said Violet before leaving and closing the door behind her. While Violet was on her way to the Filthy Rich’s home the angry manticore was lurking close to one of the paths that led towards the town of Ponyville. Out in the distance she spotted a lone pony with a beige coat trotting along another path. The pony was moving in the direction of a mantion. She moved quickly and silently towards the pony and hid in a bush, ready to jump the pony. Violet was of course completely unaware that such a dangerous creature was so close to her. She was just happily humming a tune when the manticore jumped out of the bush where she was hiding. Violet just stood there, frozen in fear of the manticore. She snapped out of her trance and started to run away when the manticore started coming closer to her. She ran to the town as fast as she could and the manticore was right behind her. She saw a filly picking flowers next to the path and she knew she had to make a choice. It was the filly or her. “Go, run to the town and get help!” Shouted Violet as she tried to get the manticore’s attention away from the filly. Her attempt worked and soon she was running away from the manticore once again. However, there was a problem. She couldn’t maintain the distance between her and the manticore for much longer. She would catch her soon if nopony helped her. She knew the best chances she had to get out of this situation unharmed was to continue on her current path, to the Sweet Apple Acres. Just when she thought she was done for, Rainbow Dash crashed into the manticore and knocked it down. Violet turned to the direction the element of loyalty came from and saw the other Elements of Harmony and Starlight Glimmer running towards her. “Go back to the town and get to safety,” said Princess Twilight, “We will deal with the manticore.” “Thank you so much for saving me Princess,” said Violet before she ran away to the flower shop. When she arrived to her workplace she saw the others outside waiting for her. “Oh thank Celestia you are all right Violet!” Said Roseluck before she hugged her. Daisy and Lily joined in. “We were so worried about you when that filly came running past our shop shouting about a manticore,” said Daisy. “Since she came from the path you were on me and Daisy ran to the market to get Rose and then we went to Princess Twilight’s castle. We heard everything that happened from the filly.” “You were lucky that all of the Elements were there as well, otherwise you could have gotten hurt, or worse!” said Rose. “Well I’m all right now girls. You can let go of me,” said Violet while being hugged to death by her worried friends. “Sorry,” said Daisy and blushed slightly. “It was really noble of you to sacrifice yourself like that Violet,” said Lily. “Oh come on, everypony would have done the same thing,” said Violet. “I could name a few ponies that wouldn’t,” said Rose. “Yes, me to,” agreed Daisy. “Nopony would leave a small filly in danger like that. Not everypony may be nice but nopony is that selfish!” protested Violet. “You know Violet, you are to nice sometimes. There are bad ponies out there,” said Lily. “I don’t know,” said Violet with an uncertain tone, “Everypony has some good in them.” “Well enough of this! We are going out for a drink. You need to relax for a bit after this shock.” Violet just smiled, happy that she has helped somepony today THE END Author's Note So here it is!
