Failure

It was a bright day, and the wind was still, until Rainbow Dash zoomed through the sky, flying to her first WonderBolt show. She'd been practicing over and over for weeks now, and she'd perfected every move. She'd woken up extra early, to make sure she got there!

Quickly, she slid along the ground as Spitfire's hooves, just in time! Or, maybe not...

"RAINBOW CRASH! Where have you been?!" Spitfire yelled, spitting in Rainbow's face.

"What do you mean? I'm perfectly on time?" Rainbow replied, confused.

"You were mean't to be here half an HOUR ago!"

"Well, that can't be right?" Rainbow thought. She was told to meet Spitfire, and the other WonderBolts, in the Town Square at 1pm, on the dot. And it was 1pm? So what was the issue?

"I told you to meet here at 12:30 Dash! So we could get a last minute rehearsal!" She retorted.

Ah. That's right. Spitfire had said 12:30.

"Sorry Spitfire.." Rainbow muttered gloomily.

Spitfire sighed and pointed to the other WonderBolts, who were standing in line, giving Rainbow a disapproving look.

The ponies were all sitting down to form the audience, and Spitfire was giving some last minute instructions. Dash couldn't help taking a sneaky glance at the audience to find her 6 friends: Fluttershy, Twilight, Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack and Spike. Spotting a light pink mane, and a pastel yellow body, Rainbow was taken out of her thoughts to hear Spitfire yelling at her again.

"What in Celestia's name are you doing Crash?!" She shouted, "Get back in line and prepare yourself!"

Rainbow quickly stepped in place, and started remembering the routine. She excitedly put her goggles on and positioned herself ready.

"Good luck Rainbow!" Soarin added, cheerfully.

"You too Soar!" Rainbow replied, before setting off into the sky to perform her tricks.
