Chapter one:Welcome home
screeech the bus came to a stop, the very bus that was taking me to my home for the next 10 years.
"Alright This is out last stop time to get off ... welcome to your new home." The driver announced. I could hear the pity in his voice he didn't want to be here any more than we did. How did I get myself into this, I've always been an upstanding pony. Never gotten into trouble with the law before how did this happen to me.
"Hey prisoner get up we said its time to get off." a rather threatening guard said as he grabbed me by the foreleg and pulled me up, effectivly snapping me out of my daydream "i said get going" he was getting annoyed with me.
No point trying to delay the inevitable Shouldn't risk getting myself in more trouble than i already am. i made my way off the bus ready to face the music. The guards starting Getting us into lines, as a pony who looked much more superior than the rest stood in front, probably a captain "Alright we are going to do a roll call" "respond when we say your name" "Shadow shine" "Sup" Said a black pegasis, judging by their Tone of voice and all around sleek body they where mare In their prime. They appeared to have a Eye with a Red X over it upon their flank
"Blaze Silverspun" silence was fell upon the crowd no response.
"I SAID ANSWER WHEN YOU NAME IS CALLED" Everyone jumped back even the guards seemed startled. "HEY Found him he was sleeping on the bus". A dark grey unicorn came off the Bus his messy red and orange hair flowing in the slight breeze.
"uhg" the i heard the captain sigh "i thought told you to get ALL the prisoners off the bus."he said with disapointment and face hoofed"
i could have easily avoided all of this i should have been more careful i started day dreaming about "what if""hey you whats your name your the only pony i havnt called yet" "hue jass" i said as casually as possible, mostly because i was to tired from today's events "NAME"
"double blade happy?" "uhg your lucky i'm not allowed to hit prisoners"
"take these sorry sacks of shit to their cells, These three need to go to Wing A" He pointed to me shadow shine and blaze.
We walked in silence as the Pegasus guard escorted us to our Cells, none of us seemed to be in the mood to talk. The Guard was the first to break the silence "so whats your name" I remained silent and just looked away. "dont be like that ill go first im Cloud Glider"
I stayed silent "fine be that way" He growled, as we approached Wing A. 3 cells opened "well Shadow shine cell 13, Blaze silverspun cell 14, Wait who are you ... umm cell 16 for now ill talk to the seer." Wait why 16 what about 15? the pegasus guard escorted me up the stairs to my cell passing by 15 the door was completely busted off, That's why they put me in cell 16. "get in you get let into the courtyard at 1:00 each day after lunch" I got in and sat down on the bed that was securely screwed into the wall Click lock was clicked into place. he began to leave "Cloud glider, ... my names Double blade"
Cloud glider smiled "nice to meetcha"
An hour has passed "it should be lunch by now" RIIIIIIIING perfect timing. The cafeteria was huge there had to be hundreds of pony's in this prison. I wondered the cafeteria looking for a place to sit, huh havnt had to do this since high school. "AY blade over here"
I was waved down by blaze he somehow got a table to himself. I placed my rump in the hard bench and sat my tray down"
"so how on earth did you get a Table to your self" blaze stared me in the eye "fear ... fear is key here" he resumed eating his lunch
"ok next question why signal me over here why not someone else?" "I know who you are martial arts expert and deception master, we can help each other out here if we work together we can bust out of here" he whispered. i have no idea who this guy is or why he thinks he can escape and if i get caught ill never get out of this place im not a violent pony I don't know why he thinks ill be able to help "Ok fill me in first-" a hoof covered my mouth "you idiot dont be so loud we dont want others harassing us or alerting the guards, ill fill you in outside" "ok one last question why not just use your magic to escape" He face hoofed "is that a serious question dont you think they would put a anti magic enchantment on unicorns?"
"well ... ya i guess that makes sense actually"Riiiiiiing "meet me by the basket ball court"
Ive been waiting for 20 minutes where is he I knew i shouldn't ha-THUNK, something hit my head hard enough to knock me over.
It took me a good 7 seconds before i could get up. i looked around for what could have hit me and there lied a basket ball under a familiarly colored grey hoof. "hey" "whats the deal hitting me with a ball" i very clearly very annoyed "you where spaced way out and wernt answering me, what where you thinking about anyways" "i was thinking about why you wernt here yet..." i said embarrassed "so whats the plan blaze"
"well now that we are alone ill fill you in, The nurses room is next to the basement where the power is directed, the only problem is its locked"
"well that problem sounds like a flaw big enough to make this not work" i said, unsure if he thought this through. "well the night guards carry keys, and if someone gets injured they take them to the nurses room" he said sounding proud of himself. "so umm how does that help us"
"my god your an idiot for a specialist, Im doing to fake an injury and steal the keys ill come get you midnight" he murmered rather un happy with my idiocy. "OH that makes alot more sense ill see you then"riiiiiiiing The bells seem to have perfect timing for advancing the plot line.
