The Pony Games

"Twilight. Twilight. Twilight. Twilight!"

Twilight Sparkle finally looked up from her book. "Yes? What did you need to speak to me about Lemon Drop?"

"Did you forget? It's reaping day!" Lemon Drop, Twilight's best friend squealed.

"No, but I want to forget! Do you not know how big a chance we have at being called now we are 18!?" Twilight asked in a rush.

" You might not know but I do so I am studying in case I do get called!" Twilight answered herself.

"Ok? Any hoof, let's go bookbrain!" Lemon exclaimed, marching out the door with Twilight in tow.

When they got there, there were only about 200 ponies,which is a small amount considering they lived in district 5. It was very strange.

"Maybe they are at work, you know, fixing a broken power circuit?" Lemon suggested when Twi asked why there were  not many ponies there. " Ok, let's get this straight. The mare I just chose was Twilight Sparkle and the stallion was Dusk Shine. Meeting dismissed." The mayor of district 5 told them gruffly.  Twilight gasped. She, twilight sparkle in the hunger games?  Twilight was so shocked, she fainted.

When Twilight came to, she was at home, in bed. "Please tell me that was a dream." Twilight begged Lemon.

"No, it was not. Go back to sleep. Tomorrow is another day" she whispered as Twi went back to sleep.
