Derpy was excited.
She was running as fast as she could through the busy streets of Ponyville, slowly progressing to Sugarcube Corner. She was going to meet her 5 friends there at 12:30 on the dot, but with the very loud commotion in the markets, she found her self falling a lot, wasting precious time.
It was the day that Princess Mi Amore Cadenza (Cadence, for short) and the Captain of the Royal Guards, Shining Armour, were going to get married, and because of it, everypony in town was rushing to get their supplies like Food and Drinks for when it airs on the Television.
She got at Sugarcube Corner at around 12:26, but her friends were already seated together at their favourite table. As she walked through the door, she immediately waved to her friends, who consisted of Lyra Heartstrings, Bon Bon, Vinyl Scratch, Octavia (Vinyl calles her Tavi, for short) and her best friend, The Doctor.
"Hi everypony!" Derpy said excitedly, "Have any trouble getting here?" "Well, let's just say it wasn't exactly easy getting through those crowds. Especially with somepony here waking me up with her Bass Cannon.." Octavia exclaimed. "What? I thought the wubs would give you extra energy from the shock!" Proclaimed Vinyl.
"Well, I had no problem getting here, especially since the town passed that TARDIS parking law." The Doctor said. "What about you guys?" as he looked at the silent Lyra and Bon Bon. "Not.. THAT bad compared to other times when Lyra.." Bon Bon stopped for a second and turned her head. "You know, when you walk on your, hind hooves."
"You mean when I walk like a human?" Lyra replied. "And what are these human you keep going on about?" said Bon Bon. "...Nevermind. Hey, why did you call us here in the first place, Derpy?" Lyra questioned. "Because I have something special to show you guys! Now, where did I put them.." Derpy exclaimed as she opened her saddlebag, and fumbled around with the contents (which were mostly muffins,) until she found a envelope.
"Tada!" she said, as she pulls out 6 Train tickets that can also be used to get into the Royal Wedding. "We are going to the Wedding in Canterlot!" Derpy exclaimed, as her friends eyes grew large. "That's amazing, Derpy!" said The Doctor, "But how did you get the tickets in the first place?" "Oh, I won them off a Radio Show for answering what was the best desert they have at Sugarcube Corner." Derpy Replied.
"And what was the correct answer, Darling?" Octavia said in a very sophisticated voice. "Octavia, what is the only thing I buy from this place?" Derpy said, as she pointed to the pile of Muffins that came out of her Saddlebag. "..Oh." Octavia bluntly put it. "So, when do we leave?" Derpy checked the clock. "In 30 minutes! Come on, let's go!" She exclaimed, as she literately pushed her friends out the door to reveal that the entire town had gone missing.
"Woah.." said Vinyl, "Where did everypony go?" They looked around until The Doctor saw them. "..Uh, guys?" said The Doctor as he pointed his hoof in the air, "I think that's why the Towns empty." When they looked, a giant swarm of some Black Bug ponies came into view.
