Rainbow Road-Rage

Canterlot City: Ponyville Court; Saturday Afternoon- 445 Party Place, Pinkie Pie's House

It was a cold gray and rainy day in Canterlot City and none were too happy about it, least of all or rather most of all Rainbow Dash. She hated having her plans foiled, ruined and bashed by bad weather and today was one of those instances. The original forecast called for clear sunny skies with a slight chance of clouds midway through the afternoon but then that all changed when the clouds rolled in, black and gray and then began to rain down endless cold rain upon the city engulfing it in a big thunderstorm, one that had apparently drifted right past Manehatten and hit them instead. Rainbow for her part was just trying to chill but the constant fall of the rain made it difficult, she'd been looking forward to this all week and now they had to reschedule and Rainbow Dash wasn't a very patient girl. Groaning in annoyance Rainbow sighed as she proclaimed.

"Man this blows! I can't believe this storm just decided to roll in this weekend; I mean we were gonna go go-karting at Cloudsdale Speedway and this stupid rain just had to ruin it!" Rainbow whined as she lay on Pinkie's bed on her back with her hands behind her head bored.

"Aw c'mon Dashie it's not so bad! And hey at least me, AJ & 'Shy are here right?" Pinkie cheered as she lay on her stomach on the floor with her laptop watching funny videos on YouTube.

"Yeah R.D.; 'sides we got plenty a video games ta play and movies to watch and I even brought over cider, why're you complainin' so much?" Applejack asked as she cycled through the games on Pinkie's Game Station 4X menu of games to find something she wanted to play.

"Cause! That track is like....the most fun thing in the history of like...ever!? Especially at night when they turn it into Neon Raceway, its so cool! It reminds me of that kart racing game we used to play when we were kids!" Rainbow Dash said sitting up on the bed now, remembering her childhood days of sitting in her room playing Pony Kart Racing with Pinkie and Applejack while Fluttershy usually watched and cheered on Rainbow Dash.

"Oh yeah I remember that one; hehe had a lot of good times with that one"  Applejack said fondly with smile remembering all the intense races she had with rainbow dash and Pinkie back in their elementary school and middle school days.

"Yeah! All the stages were super duper uber funstastic!! Sugar Hill, Nightshade Castle, The Rings of Tartarus, Starswirl Speedway! They were all so neat!!....Exceeeept with that ONE stage..." Pinkie chuckled sheepishly. "That track is a doozy and then some" Pinkie remembered all the creative and well constructed racing tracks they used to race on with the super fun characters but she dreaded the memory of a certain stage that had nearly destroyed their friendship after a certain someone made a pinkie promise too lightly and then...broke it.

"Yeah...Rainboom Road...kinda ironic that we have that first part as our band name..." Applejack chuckled as she held a controller in her hand going through the various applications on Pinkie's game system. The grim memory creeping back up of the infamous track that had nearly caused Applejack to never speak to Rainbow or Pinkie ever again.

"Yeah I know right? When I first thought of the name I didn't even think about it since we haven't played that game since what? Early Freshmen year right? Back when Pony Kart 6 Double Dash came out?" Rainbow Dash tried to recall thinking back on the previous incarnation of the racing game they spoke of.

"Yep and we all damn near stopped bein' friends cause of it remember?  Remember what happened the last time we played it?" Applejack reminded Rainbow raising an eyebrow wincing at the memory as it certainly wasn't a pleasant one as she remembering the powerful kick Rainbow Dash delivered to the side of her head.

"Don't gotta remind me AJ I remember...vividly..." Rainbow rubbed a hand to her nose remembering how hard Applejack hit her back then.

"Pft yeah no kidding! We we're all like "you cheated!" and then we were all like "nuh-uh the computer cheated!" and then there was a super blue lightning bolt and then blam! We all start fighting like cats over tuna and milk!" pinkie began to explain as she recounted the little tussle the three girls had when they last played the game. "But remember when we first played it? The day we met in 3rd grade....remember? It was so much fun!" Pinkie giggled remembering back to their elementary school days when they first met and they'd had their first sleepover at Pinkie's house where they played the game for the first time and where Pinkie and Rainbow found out they each had a love for video games.

" I do kinda miss that game...we had so much fun on all the other tracks...heck i remember ol sweet apple canyon, that was my favorite " Applejack said remembering the farm race track that was also a spin on the culture of the old west.

"Yeah and the character selection was HUGE! Best character in the game was Speedster" Rainbow Dash reminisced about her favorite character in the game  who was a blue stallion with white hair and drove a sleek race kart his trademark speedster S imprinted on the side.

"And the music tracks were amazing too! Vinyl even made a few remixes  of the original soundtrack! I'll show them too you!" Pinkie said as she began to look up the desired music but upon typing the games name she found something even better !"Oh, Oh, Oh! AJ, Dashie; look!" Pinkie was scrolling through a few videos on her laptop and found a trailer for something called Nitro Pony Kart All-Stars: Rainboom Edition.

Upon playing the trailer it showcased a high def graphical cartoon racing game with ponies and all different types of characters like dragons, gryphons, demons and more in super sleek and special customized go-karts that raced and blurred across the screen through masterfully built race tracks, collecting power-ups and much more. The three girls were completely enraptured by the trailer they didn't even notice Fluttershy walk back into the room, she'd gone to the bathroom a couple of minutes ago and was just now returning.

"What are you girls watching?" She asked in her normal quite but still audible tone as she came in and cuddled next to Rainbow Dash who embraced her by pulling the shy girl in close and she said in her normal shy tone but smiled. "Hi Dashie..."

"Heheh hey there Squeaky" Rainbow teased which gained a delightful and cute squeak out of Fluttershy.

"It's a new Pony-Kart game! And it's already out! It dropped today actually!! How did we not see this?!" Pinkie cheered bouncing up and down on her bed. "I mean we were like...ubber big fans of the game back in the day!" Pinkie pulled at her own hair.

"Game marketing sucks these days...and with all the crazy magic shit we've had going on? It's no wonder we fell behind." Rainbow drawled with a wave of her hand.

"Well I'll be dammed...damn shame we can't go out and get it, it's only fifty bucks...and it looks like theres a bunch of extra stuff too...costumes...downloadable karts...in game cash for new stuff....downloadable tracks?!" Applejack sighed and shook her head. "Money grubbin' sons a-" Applejack started to say.

"No worries girls! Pinkie's got this!" She grabbed her controller from Applejack and went to the online store where the game they'd just seen the trailer for appeared in the new arrivals list. Clicking on the game and seeing all the extra stuff that came with it she would pick...well everything. When it was all said and done Pinkie had purchased the game and all of its expansions as well as a decent amount of in game credit to use at her desire.

"What...how...what?!" Rainbow and Applejack gawked

"Heheheh I put in A LOT of hours babysitting the twins and working the shop aaaaaaaand i've been putting money away from the gigs we do around town sometimes..." Pinkie giggled as she bought the game and everything she wanted for a total of $200 and as the game downloaded Pinkie looked through the specs of the game and gasped in excitement.

"Girls...I just got...the best...idea...EVER!!!!" Pinkie's smile threatened to split her face in half

"Um...whats that Pinkie?" Fluttershy asked timidly as Pinkie's excitement was a bit frightening.

"This game is way better than like...the first 4 original games...the others only had  4 player max between people on one system but since we're in a world where online is a big thing...we can totally play this with the other girls! I've got enough controllers here that we could all play in a tournament!" Pinkie cheered in glee

"Hey she's right! And I know for a fact Sunset Shimmer has a game system, she's gotten really into it since we've become friends." Rainbow affirmed, gaming was one of the things that had put Sunset onto a better path, it allowed her to curve her anger and stress by taking it out on things in the digital world...she found out Sunset really liked violent video games as well as adventure style games like Rainbow herself and that she was very...very...competitive online.

"Ain't Rarity & Starlight over there with 'em?" Applejack asked.

"Heheh yeah with Trixie stuck to Starlight's hip and Twilight stuck on Sunset's..." Rainbow Dash teased with a chuckle.

"Pot callin' kettle black..." Applejack teased pointing out how Fluttershy and Rainbow were cuddled together.

"Nyeh! Bite me Hayseed, jealous?" Rainbow Dash teased with a grin

"No!...Hmph ain't fair Rare bein' over there..." Applejack pouted crossing her arms.

"You know she hates getting her hair wet, 'sides she said she's at Sunset's to help design her room since Twi just moved in with her, as well as design an outfit for Trixie's new magic show coming up at school soon."

"Oh yeah I forgot about that...do you think they'll wanna play?" Pinkie asked as the game finished installing and began to install all the DLC.

"Give 'em a ring and lets see what they say." Rainbow said as she checked out some things about the game to see just what they were getting themselves into.

"Okie Dokie Loki!" Pinkie cheered as she brought up her webcam feature on her game system, seeing that PhoenixSunshine was online, PartyAnimal would send her a video chat request.

Canterlot Heights: Sunset Shimmers Apartment

Over on a different side of Canterlot City, Sunset Shimmer lived in a 2 bedroom apartment with her girlfriend Twilight Sparkle and her 'housemates' Starlight Glimmer and Trixie Lulamoon, the later of which had moved in just recently like Twilight Sparkle had. Currently now Rarity was over helping them redesign their rooms as well as create Trixie's new outfit. It'd been a few long hours but the task was at last complete at least the redesign of the room part anyway. Since the apartment only had two bedrooms it was fortunate for all four girls that they each had their own relationship and now with their girlfriends moving in Sunset and Starlight wanted to make some adjustments to their living conditions. Sunset wanted her room to match hers and Twilight's style as she wanted her girlfriend to feel comfortable with her where they lay their head at night and Trixie and Starlight were more than generous enough to help repaint and move things around that Twilight had brought with her and the ever brilliant Twilight Sparkle had many a handy gadget for of yo making certain projects just fly by which was one of the things Sunset loved about Twilight, she was a genius and could basically preform magic...without magic...her technological advancements were astonishingly useful and Sunset as well as the rest of the girls couldn't be more thankful to the brainy bookworm. As they put the finishing touches on Sunset and Twilight's bedroom they'd finally managed to get the last bits of the rug down which was a stunning raspberry like red which blended the colors of red and purple and the entire room looked as if the ethereal aurora of the sunset and the twilight had mashed together to create a beautiful cosmic painting.

The room had Sunset's fiery laid back feel as it was adorned with her many posters of different anime, video games and half the wall of the room was painted in the colors of the sunset which were a perfectly faded red, yellow and orange. It also had Twilight's calm and cool and conserved feeling as the other half was painted in a lovely and calming indigo violet and pink that faded together perfect coming to a middle ground on the walls. There was also a mural painted around the room which showed a red phoenix flying around a sparkling purple six pointed star. The lights in the room varied and each had a dimmer. There were normal white lights that one would usually put in a lamp, then they had calmer mood lighting like for when they wanted to watch a movie...or make love...mostly for the making love part. There was a large dresser, two work desks, a telescope going out the window, a large flatscreen TV mounted on the wall above the dresser and ontop of the dresser was a customized Game Station 4X that bore her cutie mark with phoenix wings on the side of it. Looking around the room Sunset couldn't help but feel giddy and so thankful to Rarity and the others for doing all this.

"Thanks so much for coming over to help me with this today Rarity; Twilight and I would be lost without your design expertise." Sunset said with a kind smile to her fashion forward friend.

"Oh darling think nothing of it, I was more than happy to design the interior of your dream bedroom! Though I'd never have known where to begin without all the detail you and Twilight gave me and I dare say its paid off...Twilight is such a dear using her tech know-how to make all these extra things for you all to use darling; truly you've caught yourself a prize." Rarity smiled

"I know right?" Sunset smiled and gave a dreamy sigh at that thought. "I can't wait to take her to bed tonight and just-"

"Oooooh scandalous..." Rarity began to tease

"Oh please like you're not just itching for this storm to stop so you can go give your favorite cowgirl a rodeo ride..." Sunset teased right back placing a hand on her hips.

"Ah pft ack why I never...rodeo ride indeed...I assure you that I have no-" Rarity blushed heavily at Sunset's choice of words and turned her nose up indignantly with a hrumph and then she heard Sunset teasing again.

'Oh darling Jackie I just cant wait to take you back to the farm and ride you like a rodeo show...' Sunset teased giving an almost perfect impression of a lust hungry and also drunk Rarity from that time at one of Pinkie's parties last month when she'd had a bit too much wine and got really saucy with Applejack. Grinning viciously as she wiggled her eyebrows at Rarity she saw the reaction she was looking for when her friend went from white to pure pink in embarrassment sputtering over her words or lack there of hilariously and Sunset sure enough had a laugh at Rarity's expense.

"Hmph yes, yes, laugh it up...'Sunny Bunny'..." Rarity teased with a vicious grin of her own as she instantly saw Sunset's face heat up.

"H-How did you..." Sunset sputtered

"You two really ought to learn to 'release your urges' in less public places...I mean the girls locker room darling...really?" Rarity tittered with a hand on her hip

"What!? She wanted me and I still go through estrus you know!" Sunset blushed super hard reminding Rarity that even in her human form her pony biology still gave her the heat cycle that burned at her pussy every month. It wasn't exactly a problem since nowadays Sunset didn't have to settle for a hoof, magical construct or in this world her hand or dildos...to get herself off anymore...Twilight was an amazing partner in bed and while they still did use toys it only made the experience that much better to them both and often times when Sunset was really hot and bothered she couldn't keep her hands off the bookworm, nor the could Twilight keep her hands off Sunset. "Right, right coming" Sunset said aloofly following Rarity

"That's what she said..." Rarity teased one more time just for laughs.

"And so did you and so did I" Sunset capped off the sex pun feast with that one and shared a laugh with Rarity.

"Are you almost done back there Starly?" Trixie asked as she stood stiff trying to not cramp as Starlight tightened bolts on the back of her leg that were apart of her costume.

"Just a little long Trix, gotta make sure all the plates are in place so it doesn't snag or the exhausts would get backed up and then we'd have a mess on our hands." Starlight Glimmer explained.

"And that does it for the calibration on the helmet visor now we just need to make sure the projection gloves work...Trixie hold up your hands and point them to the wall please..." Twilight asked

"This isn't going to send me flying into the wall again is it?" Trixie asked

"if it does we've got ice packs standing by already!" Twilight cheered

"Oh geez..." Trixie gulped.

"It'll be fine, just cast a simple projection, nothing big...just clear your mind, focus and project..." Twilight said calmly.

"Okay...here goes..." Trixie inhaled and exhaled to calm herself and lifted her hands and pointed them toward the wall, the gloves on her hands shined a bright blue sparkling hue and from the orbs on the palms small an illusion construct was formed in the form of a bear with ethereal fur that was about Spike's size.

"Well I'll be dammed! They work!" Sunset said as she walked into the room just in time to see the device she'd helped build work.

"Yes! The illusion gloves are functional! This wouldn't have been possible without you Sunny!" Twilight affirmed and showed her thanks to Sunset by way of a peck on the cheek.

"Aww don't go giving me all the credit you little genius you; your the one who came up with the idea of getting Trixie to access her 'inner magic'; I never thought that in this world magic could really exist in others except us...guess I was WAY wrong..."

"Guess some people just need to learn how to bring it out I guess? It's still so hard to explain but I'm sure we'll figure it out in full later but still we couldn't have done this without you either Rarity, this fabric material you gave us is perfect!"

"Ah yes Midnight Chrome Blue 24 a very rare fabric but I was lucky enough to get an ample amount from  Vice principal Luna, they apparently remind her of a past she doesn't quite like to remember but I simply couldn't let such a fabric go to waste and thus I re-purposed it and voila!" Rarity exclaimed with a smile as she gestured to Trixie's sleek magician outfit that looked like a cross between Dark Magician girl and Zatana.

"This costume and these illusions are gonna knock 'em dead Trix!" Starlight proclaimed.

"Thanks so much for this girls...it really means a lot to Trixie...and I hope there will be no hard feelings when I win." Trixie boasted.

"Hey now remember it's a friendly compeition....we don't need another battle of the bands going on..."

"Which is why we're all doing our OWN performances...at best we can have one of the other girls team up and help out but this way nothing is unfair and everyone has a fair chance to win...but who am I kidding?" Sunset chuckled shaking her head. "With any of us participating? One on us is bound to win which means a few things..."

"And that would be?" Starlight asked

"Victory sex for one couple, second place sex for another couple, third place sex for the last couple and then defeated comfort sex for everyone else." Sunset said nonchalantly

"Oh...My...Faust!" Starlight cheered and bursted out in laughter "You are TERRIBLE Shims!" Starlight said as she finished her work on the last part of Trixie's outfit putting away her tools.

"Funny that isn't what you were saying last week when we let you and Trix join in-" Sunset began to say

"Ooooooooh scandelous!!!" Rarity cheered in laughter with a grin. "One geek not enough for you in bed Sunset darling?" Rarity teased.

"Hey!" Twilight and Starlight said in indignation.

"Pft oh c'mon that was totally fun and you know it..."

"We were so fucking stoned that night though..." Trixie said with a laugh

"Tch yeah tell me about it, Tree Hugger has had it really good lately" Sunset said kicking back on the couch and grabbing her controller, she had a second game system set up in the living room since they often had game nights in the living room and she played one player or two player stuff in her's and Twilight's room. Grabbing the ashtray from the nearby coffee table she'd spark a half smoked joint she'd been smoking while playing Street Brawler 5 with Starlight Glimmer. Sunset, Starlight, Twilight & Trixie were all shameless stoners, even genius' needed a way to unwind and none of them were big fans of drinking, where they would have a light drink here and there none of them boozed hard like Applejack, Pinkie Pie and or especially Rainbow Dash who could and has drunken them ALL under the table...never again Sunset thought as she shuddered using her lighter that bore her cutie mark to light the joint between her fingers, taking a long drag and then exhaling a large cloud of dank white smoke after french inhaling. "This Dank Breezy stuff is amazing..."

"I still can't believe you girls smoke that stuff..." Rarity chastised.

"Oh here we go..." Starlight groaned.

"I mean it can't possibly be healthy for you and it's illegal!" Rarity chasited still

"Rare we've shown you the proof, it's bullshit why it's illegal and the medical appilications could quite literally change this world for the better why are you in such fuckin' denial?" Starlight said crassly as she got up and plopped down on the couch next to Sunset and took the joint as Sunset offered it too her and took a long drag herself and exhaled.  "And besides it's legal in this state remember? We all get it legally...so what the Hell is your damage?"

"Applejack alright...she...smokes often and I never do with her and I think she's getting bored with me with all the work I've been doing lately and-" Rarity began to go into one of her dramatic rants but was stopped by Twilight.

"Rarity it's okay...no one, least of all Applejack is going to judge you for not doing what you don't believe in...and I know from how Applejack looks at you? She's NEVER going to get bored of you..." Twilight reassured.

"I suppose...but I mean..it's not like I haven't thought about trying it...but I've heard so many rumors..."

"Trust me most if not all the bad stuff you hear is a loud of crap...stoners are cool people Rarity, hard working and creative people...we won't force you like we usually don't but the offer is there if you want too." Starlight added.

"Well...I guess..." She sighed and chuckled "Alright...hit me."

"Seriously?!" They all snapped to her attention

"Um...yes...i'd like to partake...but nothing too strong...I've heard it can be intense for first timers..."

"That is very true, luckily for you we've got variety just in case...Twilight could you?" Sunset asked

"Sure Sunny."

Twilight went off to their bedroom and grabbed a box with different compartments and various types of weed in those compartments and came back into the living room. Handing the box to Sunset she'd go through the different types until she found something suitable for a beginner like Rarity. "Ah-ha, here's a good starter, green smooze." She said with a smile pulling out a sticky green bud with darker green hairs and held it to Rarity's nose and it instantly wrinkled at the dank smell "You'll get used to that...now since your a beginner we don't want you to have a lung attack..."

"W-What?!" Rarity panicked

"Calm down, calm down, I meant like a coughing fit...hm...oh! Starlight go grab Windego!" Sunset cheered.

"Oooooh perfect!" Starlight smiled and got up and went into her's and Trixie's room and grabbed a large table sized bong that was pure white silver and blue and around the base and curling up the stem was a ghost horse like creature and the same kind of creature was painted and engraved into the glass. Bringing it out into the living room she'd place it on the table and Rarity felt her blood run cold.

"W-What is that?" Rarity asked feeling a chill.

"This is Windego...the meanest ice catch and perk bong offered up at Tree Hugger's Stoned Pony smoke shop" Sunset said with a smirk

"Guaranteed to get you fucked up but keep you chill...the hits on this bad boy are sooooooo clean!" Starlight affirmed as she grabbed her grinder and Sunset wanted her the smelly green plant.

"um...are you sure this is safe for a beginner?" Rarity asked concerned.

"Yep, that's what makes what makes it perfect! It's intense for vets but calm for beginners...here watch me" Starlight said grabbing her lighter and getting on her knees at the base of the coffee table. Flicking the light and putting it to the ground up weed in the bowl connected to the bong which already had water and ice in it. As the chambers bubbled and filled with milky white smoke as Starlight inhaled it would give the base Windego it's ghostly appearance and it's eyes would glow blew.

"Ghost it, ghost it, ghost it, ghost it!" Chanted the other genius girls and magician.

And Starlight did just that, taking the down-stem from the chamber she'd suck up all of the smoke, sputter a little, inhale, and in a skillful smoke trick, ghosted the smoke through her mouth and nose and it took the form of the windego's face. This got cheers of excitement from the other girls and an impressed look out of Rarity.

"Amazing..." Rarity said in awe.

"Yep, Trixie taught me that one..." Starlight said with a small cough and threw a wink at the silver haired magician. "It's a deep bowl so here give it a shot, just copy what I did and you'll be fine...well not the trick...just spark it...hold the bowl...inhale until you feel pressure...slide out the stem...and then inhale as best you can...don't try and take it all in one go..."

"Yeah or you'll gag Rare..." Sunset teased.

"I have no idea what you're-" Rarity began to say until Sunset showed her a picture of her getting face fucked with a strapon by Applejack, another wild party night at Pinkie's where she and Applejack had too much to drink. "I hate you-"

"Love you too Marshmallow..." Sunset chuckled and winked

"Yo Shims" Starlight said

"Yeah Glims?" Sunset answered

"Pinkie's callin' you on video chat..." She said pointing to the screen.

"She probably wants to play Street Brawler again..." Sunset said with a chuckle as she grabbed the controller and clicked answer. "Sup Pinks; hey girls!"

"Hiya Sunny! Hey Twi, Trix, Glims, Rare." Pinkie cheered with a smile.

"Hey Sugarcube; miss me?" Applejack said

"To death darling!" Rarity whined and pouted

"D'aww don't worry Rare soon as this storm lightens up I'll come and get cha." Applejack grinned and snapped her teeth playfully at Rarity

"Ehehe oh you..." Rarity blushed and waved a hand.

The other girls teased them with kissy sounds and seductively lewd jokes and everyone shared a laugh. When the laughter finally died down Sunset spoke up again.

"Whats up though Pinkie? Wanna rematch in Street Brawler?" Sunset asked.

"Maybe later but real quick...have you ever heard of Pony Kart racing..."

"I HAVE!" Starlight and Twilight raised their hands right away in glee

"Awesome! So do you know about the new game?!" Pinkie cheered

"THERES A NEW GAME?!" Twilight shouted and pulled out her phone and went through her digital library and saw that there was in fact a new game and she hadn't even bothered to check to see when it became available...which was now?! "How does marketing suck so bad?! Seriously  Ponintendo?!" Twilight squawked.

"What's Pony Kart racing?" Sunset asked

"Only like the best most nostalgic racing game EVER!" Twilight cheered with stars in her eyes as she remembered her childhood playing that game with her big brother.

"Yeah I used to play it all the time with Sunburst when we were little! We're still tied for wins and loses." Starlight chuckled remembering her small rivalry with her childhood best friend.

"And this new game has so much stuff! Theres a total of over 50 different tracks, 25 nostlagia tracks and 25 brand new tracks...and...Sonic Rainboom Road...and downloaded version of the hardest racing game track known to man...it's been said to-"

"Ruin friendships..." Twilight, Starlight, Pinkie, Applejack & Rainbow Dash all said at once.

"Wait...you girls too?!" Rainbow asked surprised.

"Yeah...back when I was little I played that stage against my big brother and...we got into a big arguement and we said a lot of things we didn't mean to each other and didn't talk for like two months..." Twilight sighed and hung her head in shame at that memory

"Yeah me and Sunburst got into a big fight once too when we played that stage...and our parents didn't let us play together for a long time..." Starlight sighed

"But anyway why do you ask?" Twilight asked

"Cause we just bought the game off the network store and wanna know if you girls wanna get a tournament with us! We were supposed to go to Cloudsdale Speedway today but the storm fucked that up...and I've got the need for speed!" Rainbow said

"I could go for a good gaming break..." Twilight said

"Sounds fun to me" Starlight affirmed

"Trixie thinks she can get in on this, i only ever played this game vs the computer but it'll be nice to play it with friends."

"Alright looks like game night is here early..." Sunset chuckled and went into the network store to buy the game and all the additionally things they'd need. "Alright once it's installed we can get things rolling, this should be good"

"Yep, as long as we avoid Rainboom Road...like don't pick it on purpose...lets just see if we can get it at random..."

"but didn't you say it ruins friendships? why would we play that?"

"Oh don't be silly Sunny our friendship is unbreakable and its just a game at the end of the day right?"

"Yeah you're right Pinkie, guess everyone will just have to control their soduim levels...hehe Rainbow..."

"Eat my ass Bacon Hair!" Rainbow bellowed.

"You mean like how Flutter's eats out our-" Sunset began but stopped when she heard and embarrassed 'Meep' from Fluttershy

"So how're we doin' this? 3vs3? 4v4?" Applejack asked

"Yeah the game has a pretty good tournament system from what I can see in the description...wow these guys went all out with this...listen to this...each level has a world  changer which changes the map's structure with destructive race changing effect...one minute you could be on a bridge and then the next thing you know the bridge explodes and sends you into a tunnel you didn't know was there..." Sunset said in amazement

"I know right?! And check it you can fuse characters while racing if you're doing a team race, like if your on a team with someone and your trying to get them ahead faster you can build up power in your speed meter with you team and once they are all synced up you can fuse into a super speed car and get ahead! And these graphics!"

"What about you Rarity? Wanna play?" Starlight asked

"Hm, if turns could be taken perhaps" Rarity said. "For now I'll just watch and cheer."

"How bout you Shy? You wanna play?" Rainbow asked the meek girl

"Oh um...not right now; maybe later?" Fluttershy said

"Sure thing Flutters, just sit back and watch Dashie kick butt just like the good ol days! Hope you guys are ready to eat my dust! Me Pinkie and AJ are childhood vets in this game!" Rainbow grinned

"She's right ya know...ya'll are bout to get stomped..." Applejack grinned with Rainbow

"We're gonns burn you out! Hehe but it looks like you girls are doing a good job of that already! Ooooo! Is that a Windego?!" Pinkie gasped

"Suuuuuure is" Starlight grinned crossing her arms.

"Awesome sauce! I got my Party cannon the other day! I love it!" Pinkie giggled "And Huggy gave me this new strain called Poison Joke it's all blue and spotty and it makes you silly!" Pinkie giggled showing off the mentioned bud in front of the camera.

"Oh yeah girls special occusion tonight...Rarity is finally gonna take a hit." Sunset spoke up

"Really?!" The girls on the other side asked in surprise.

"Off Windego? You sure bout that sugarcube?" Applejack asked concerned.

"She'll be fine AJ and we won't let anything happen to your precious Rarity" Sunset teased.

"Alright...if you're sure." Applejack said with a sigh

"Games done downloading! Oh this calls for snacks! Starly, Trixie, if you would be so kind?"

"On it" They said going into the kitchen.

"So how about this, we'll do 1v1's first to get a feel for the new game, then go to 2v2 and so forth; that way we can all curb into the game." sunset suggested

"We've taught you well young Padawan." Rainbow jested.

"Yes thank you Dashie Senpai" Sunset teased with a chuckle.

"This is gonna be awesome!" Rainbow Dash couldn't hide her giddiness and neither could the rest of the girls, they kept the video chat open in a separate window on the system that shrunk to the corner of the screen of they could all see each other.

As the storm continued outside each of the girls gathered round their respective televisions; game night had indeed come early and it had come with a brand new game, a game that could and would bring great joy but could and likely would cause great tension among the nine young women but they were all too tipsy or stoned to care and simply wanted to enjoy their day with a good game session. As the game finished installing on Sunset's system the title screen would come up and the girls would prepare to embark on a journey that none of them were prepared for.
