The Tree of Life

It was just another day. Clouds were in the sky and birds were singing in the trees.

I had just come back from my work and was just parking my car, when I heard, that a con was going to take place our town, in the radio.

When I heard this I was overjoyed, because I could finaly go to a con with my costume.

I had been working on this costume for more then a year, because I wanted to go to the gamescom with it when I had enough money for the trip.

I thought to myself, that I could use this con as a test for my costume. So I exited my car and made my way inside my home.

It was not a large home, in front of me was a hallway, which had a door on the left and a door and stairway on the right.

To the left was the entrance to my kitchen and livingroom and to the right was the stairway that lead to the bedroom and bathroom, but I went to the door on the right and opened it.

Behind it was a stairway, that lead me to my workroom.

It was here, that I decided to look at my costume. It was a bodysuit, which looked like Xerneas, if it walked on two legs.

After looking at it for five minutes I went to my computer and looked for new information on pokemon and My little Pony.

I know what you might think now.

"He is a grown man, why does he like shows for kids?"

You are probably right about me beeing a grown man, but these shows teach valuable lessons about life and friendship, but they are also fun to watch.

After surfing in the internet for half an hour I decited, that it was time for me to go to bed, so that I could be up early tomorrow.

In the next morning I awoke early and made myself ready for today.

After I put my costume on and took my money with me I decited, that I was ready and went to my car and drove to the con.

When I entered I immediantly went to the sourvenir section, because I wanted to have a good sourvenir, before they were all sold.

So when I was walking along the rows of shops I noticed one, that spiked my interest.

It was a shop, that had verry good replicas from video-games.

So I went over to it and asked the shopkeeper.

"Hello there" I said to him and he answered

"Hello to you too Xerneas, may I inquire if you would want to buy something from my stall?".

After he said this he gestured to his props and I imediandly saw, what I wanted.

It was a perfect replica of the tree of harmony.

"How much for the tree of harmony?" I asked him and he replied "The price is 50$"

"50$?...Sure why not." I answered and gave him the money.

"Here you go and have fun."He said as he gave me the replica.

Shortly after that he began to laugh evily and I spepped back, because he weirded me out.

But insted of hitting the floor my feed touched nothing and I fell into a hole.

Shortly after that I blacked out.

A unknown amount of time later I was awoken by a strong gust of wind.

And as I begann to stirr I felt quiet off, like my body was not my own.

When I was awake enough I tried to open my eyes, only to imediantly close them again, because of the strong wind around me.

After waiting for the wind to die down and finding out that the wind was in fact not going to stop I tried to open my eyes again.

This time I managed to hold them open for a short amount of time and what I saw was shocking to say the least.

I was in some kind of giant wasteland.

Everywhere I looked was rock and dirt for miles to see.

"Where the hell am I?" I tried to asked myself, only to freak out again.

"Is this my voice?Why does it sound like Xerneas from Pokemon X?" I tried to say only for more of those sounds to come out of my mouth.

It was at this moment, that I tried to move my body, to see if anything else had changed.

What I saw both amazed and terrified me, and I did the only rational thing to do in such a situation.

I freaked out.

"WHY AM I XERNEAS? AND HOW DID I GET HERE?" I screamed with my new voice which sounded like a louder version of the sound.

After calming down a long amount of time laiter I tried to lift my new body.

It was very dificult with the new apendages I had and the extra amount of weight on my head.

But eventualy I managed to stand up, but I was still very shaky on my legs and the new hight I had didn´t make thinks any easier.

After a while of looking around from my new high I decided, that I should learn how to walk first, if I wanted to figure out where I am.

I tried to lift one of my new legs, only to fall on the ground.

After some attempts to walk I finaly managed to take my first speps.

It was with these first steps, that it finaly sunk in, that I was not home anymore and could probably never return and even if I returned I would probably be locked away in a Lab or be hunted for beeing a monster?

I didn´t know, what would happen to me if I returned, so I decided to survive this wasteland for now and worry about these detailes later.
