Sunset Shimmer has left the human world behind, she claims that she must make amends to those she hurt in the other world. Twilight is distraught with no idea of when or if her best friend will return. Fluttershy watches over Twilight as her pain grows and desperately seeks for a way to heal the girl's wounded heart.

Their friends watch over them both, hoping that both of their broken hearts can be mended. All six of them will grow in their final summer before attending college and for better or worse, their relationships will change.
