The Path

The land of Equestria had changed throughout the years. Princess Luna had been banished and brought back, everypony had been through so much... With the Crystal Empire being taken over by Sombra, Tirek coming back, Discord trying to take over, and the Changelings trying to take over Equestria, it had been a lot... No pony had expected this much chaos in the few years that they were there.

"I'm just worried as to why Princess Luna wants to see you guys..." Princess Twilight sighed.

"She's reformed darling." Rarity smiled.

"Yeah, and if anything were to happen, we could totally take her on." Rainbow Dash spoke confidently.

"Don't worry Sugarcube. It's probably just a meetin' on how to sleep better is all." Applejack laughed. Everypony agreed with her and boarded the train.

"I hope you guys have a good train ride.... Stay safe." Twilight smiled, trying to get the logical side out of her head. Demanding she get answers out of Fluttershy. But they all looked just as lost as they were when it came to the reasons as to what the meeting was about...

"They'll be back in no time Twi. Trust me." Spike smiled and walked towards the stairs to Ponyville.

"I hope you're right Spike..." She said while watching the train detatch from the station and leave Ponyville. They walked toward her castle, watching other ponies go about their business today. She felt off without her friends nearby.

"Princess Twilight!" Twilight lifted her head slightly and saw the CMC running towards her with sad faces.

"What is going on girls?" She asked with more concern than she planned on. All three of them started speaking at an oddly fast pace, and all at the same time. "Girls! Girls! One at a time..." Twilight laughed.

"Well, we were hanging out near the lake, and we decided hey why not go on a hike?" Scootaloo started.

"But then we ended up near the Everfree forest, and we heard noises coming from it..." Sweetie Belle shivered.

"But that isn't even the scary part!! We knew that the noises were normal but two ponies ran out!! So we kind of followed them to see what they were running from..." Apple Bloom added.

"Yeah! They weren't running from anything... But to something... They were laughing and they had ran around Fluttershy's cottage..." Sweetie Belle frowned.

"They said something about Discord..." Scootaloo said sadly... "Princess Twilight what do you think is going to happen?" She frowned and inching closer to the Princess. Spike had even looked scared... Twilight thought... The Everfree forest, no pony except Zecora would know what was going on... She would have more insight on the two unknown ponies...

"Come on. We're going to go visit Zecora. She'll know more. Besides. I'm in charge of all of you today anyway. I have to make sure that you ponies are safe." Twilight smiled and the young fillies, and dragon had followed her. Unsure of what to expect next...

As they walked down the path through the forest, Twilight had noticed that it was a little more foggier than normal... She had glanced up and swore that she saw an Alicorn walking through the mist... She shook her head and denied the thought of other alicorns in the forest. She was the only one right now. They got closer to the Zebra's hut, and saw that it was in shambles... Twilight ran towards it and saw the door on the floor and multiple potions and vases on the floor...

"Careful girls.." She said while flying over the mess. The three ponies and dragon watched as she flew over the small space, looking for the striped pony. "She's not here... Where could that pony be?" She said while flying back to the doorway.

"Maybe those two ponies took her!!" Sweetie Belle cried. All the girls started screaming and running in a circle.

"Girls! Girls!!" Twilight yelled. "We will figure it out. No pony just leaves without a reason or explanation." She tried to reassure even herself. All of them decided to call it quits for the night and hope for the best. All of them ended up camping out in Twilight's room waiting for the rest of their family to get home....

"I suppose you all are wondering why I asked you to come here." Luna spoke. The five ponies nodded their head quietly and watched the Princess of the Night pace back and forth. "There are... Legends for lack of a better word, that have been fufilled... Mostly me being banished, and you five with the assistance of Princess Twilight Sparkle helping to reform me and multiple others that have returned..." She explained.

"What legends are you talking about?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Yes, from my understanding, there are no other legends..." Fluttershy said quietly.

"There are more my dear pony. But sadly, they are coming true... And Equestria as we know it will change." She sighed. "Multiple alicorns have been born into this world, but none that are recorded as changed.. Just like Twilight. She was changed into an Alicorn.... The ones that are born into the world were recorded in this book." Luna had pointed at the book she had treasured for years.

"How many alicorns are there?" Rairty asked.

"Without counting my sister, Cadence, Twilight, Flurry Heart and myself... Five others exist in our world." She sighed. "I know of two. Pine Needle and Nightheart... Pine Needle was changed into an alicorn after Celestia had seen what his talent was used for. Nightheart was my apprentice. Both of them ran away together once they had fufilled their destinies... I don't know where they are now.. But as for the other three... They are either scattered, or staying with each other." She explained what the rest of the book had explained and they were mortified...

"So we have to figure out a way to stop them." Applejack smiled.

"Yeah! Let's trap them with a party!!" Pinkie beamed.

"I'm afraid it isn't going to be that easy... It explains what powers each one would hold... And parties will not stop them." Luna sighed.

"Well what powers do they weild?" Rarity asked.

"One has the powers of Tirek.... One holds the powers of both dragons and Changelings, and the last holds the powers of Sombra and Discord... All of past villains..." She read more through the book and frowned. "You must take it and learn.... Figure out how you can help yourselves.. I can only help here. I wish you all the best of luck." Luna said while leaving the room.

The ponies look at one another waiting for somepony to speak up... No pony knew exactly what to say... Not after this.
