This brutal war began shortly after the Anon a Miss saga, in which the Crusaders framed Sunset for cyberbullying. Sunset said that she forgave them, but the course of ten years made the animosity between AppleBloom and Sunset quite apparent until one day, Sunset decided to teach her a lesson by subjecting her to a SAW like scenario, causing her to miss christmas. Enraged, AppleBloom attacked Sunset with several Superman Punches and Spears before dropping a grand piano on her. AppleBloom got arrested, but was bailed out by Luna, but in exchange, she had to enter the Royal Rumble Pep Rally at #1, which she would go on to win. Meanwhile, Sunset would go on to win Solar Empire Championship. In the weeks leading up to WonderMania, Sunset had chased AppleBloom through a busy hallway with a roman candle and shot at Scootaloo with an attack drone. Then, AppleBloom invaded Sunset's house and tossed her out of a two-story window. This feud will culminate in a brutal bloody war at WonderMania!
