Everypony were in their homes keeping warm as the storm rages on hugging the every village in Romaneya. A far from the village, was a castle made of stones.. moon stones. And out of the roaring storm, came out a cry... A scream of pain. It came from a mare within the castle. A mare who was giving birth. Inside stood a group of ponies who had wings shaped like bat wings, glowing eyes, and Sharp fangs. These were none other than bat ponies... And to some, their known as Vampire ponies. Each had a upper necklace with a Crescent moon in the middle. This was a cult who stayed True to their Prince/King, who happens to be their as well along with his two daughters. He has gone by many names, some refer him to be "King Artemis" ruler of the night. King Artemis brought along both his Daughters, both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. The girls are still young and was asked by their father to attend a new birth within the night of the bat ponies. The king and the princesses made their way pass the bowing group of bat ponies and met two bat stallions by the door where there was yelling and screaming. The two bat stallions bowed and welcomed their king to their home. "Crescent Summary" the leader and his son in law "Shadow Mist". The king introduced Celestia and Luna, letting every pony and the girls know that this may be the foal bat Pony who may need watched over for their guidance. For the mare giving birth the a new bat Pony is one of the kings students. Her name is and was "Starlight Harmony". On the other side of the room, Starlight screams in pain as the birth has gone for about an hour.. just then... It all stopped.... The room went and grew silent. Shadow and Crescent looked at one another, hoping that all was not lost. The baby.... Starlight.. Shadow mist was about to cry and rush in the room.... When a cry began to fill the room a cry of a foal. Every pony walked in the room, letting Crescent Summary and Shadow Mist in first to see Starlight Harmony holding her baby. The foal had dark blue skin with light blue spots and a horn. Starlight and her father Crescent were both Unicorns, Shadow was a Pegasus. The king and Princesses walked in soon after a small group of bat ponies came in along with Shadow and Crescent. Shadow was by Starlights side as the king approached them both. Shadow bowed and Starlight only able to slowly nod her head. "Ki..King Artemis.. I.. I did it" weakly said starlight "it's a colt... He has his father's eyes" her smile was bright even though her body was weak. Starlight became very ill during her time of being six months Pregnant. Shadow came back to Starlight's side... He knew that she may not make it, however he did not want to believe such a tragedy. "Please my love" Shadow spoke soft and quietly "you must save your strength. It's going to be ok". Starlight smiled at her husband as tears were in his eyes. "We...need to name the.... The baby my dear.." time for Starlight was beginning to fade. "You...know the one we were thinking about...?" She asked. Shadow nodded as he tries to choke back his tears. "Yes, a name that rides on a night river of songs. Who will make memories shine...even in the dark of a dream" Shadow said as his voice goes deeper in to a cry. Starlight places her hoof on Shadows cheek and smiles "let's say it together." The two looked deep each other's eyes and spoke the name "Moon Diary" Starlight smiled at Shadow... She began to sing for both Shadow and their new foal Moon Diary. The song was strong and mystic as other bat ponies mare and stallions began to sing softly as a night lullaby. ~speak my memory, sing my song. Hear thy wisdom beyond the fog. Follow your heart, balance both your light and your dark.~ Softly, the song of his birth continued. The king sung as well, as so has both Celestia and Luna. Yet both were in tears.. Starlight smiled at Everypony and at her new born son who was Sound asleep from the lullaby. The song.... Began to fade... Starlight Harmony...was now in internal rest with her son in her arms. The room with silent once more.. few bat ponies were in tears... Crescent Summary kept his head high while placing his hoof over Shadow mist's shoulder as Shadow buries his face next to Starlight's. Two nights later, Starlight was given a proper burial. All in a beautiful midnight purple dress, Her body was burned to ash. Every bat Pony sat and watched along with the king and his two daughters. Crescent Summary and Shadow Mist were standing side with the royal ponies. Luna looked over, next to her was Shadow who was holding his new born foal "moon diary". After the ceremony departure, King Artemis spoke with Shadow Mist about helping raise the new bat foal. That his Daughter Luna and soon be his teacher after the lessons she will learn. Shadow bowed to the king and the royal family took off back home. And so, a new life had begun. Told by the bat Librarian pony.
