//-------------------------------------------------------// The Invasion of Equestria -by Halotroop0- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue Assistant Raen, a dark gray mare with a white mane, trotted through the prisoner holding cells, ignoring all the jeers and shouting. She stopped halfway to eye the two most strange prisoners in here, a blue pony with light blue hair, but she also had both a horn and wings! The other one looked exactly the same except for having white fur, pink hair, and being slightly larger. Taking a moment to mock them, she grew a cruel smile on her face and said, "My, what disgusting creatures you are. How is it even possible that you are alive?" The blue one got a fire in her eyes before she started calming down, then responded, "Oh, we are disgusting? What about you bigot?" Sighing in annoyance, presumably because Raen came to jeer at them every day. The blue one then got up and stuck her nose up in defiance, slightly growling while she said, "Leave, fool. Your cruel words have no effect on either of us." She lost her smile and rolled her eyes before looking at the white one, wondering if she was going to say anything. However, she simply sat there with her head down and with her hair covering her face. Sighing in boredom, Raen continued on her way. She remembered hearing a bit about those two, they supposedly lead a movement to replace the Empire's leadership, but they ended up going to prison for even daring to defy the High Lord. Reaching the Command Center of the ship, she approached her favorite pony on the ship, a pony with a black mane and white fur, "Officer Blake, I'm back from the engine room, and I have my report." "Hmm?" Turning to look at the pony approaching him, he quickly grew a large, disarming smile on his face, "Ah Raen! Come here! You HAVE to see this!" Turning her head to side slightly in confusion, she approached the window at which he seemed glued to. She gasped and could do nothing but stare in pure shock and awe at the most amazing, yet also the most terrifying sight she had ever seen. It at first appeared to be a normal planet, but the first she noticed was that it is lush with life, and that by itself is rare in the galaxy. The next thing she noticed was that there... was no sun or moon! There was a blue orb of light circling the planet, and an orange orb circling the planet, as though they replaced the sun and moon. She stumbled backwards before falling on her bottom, "That's... How... That's impossible! Blake, how is this even possible?!" She just couldn't believe it, how could this planet possible do that? Was it even remotely possible? "I don't know, I don't think anypony knows! This is amazing!" He gave a loud cackle, still gazing at the beauty of the planet. Sitting on her rump, she stared at the ground until she gradually heard a light beeping sound. Getting up, she checked the console and noticed that the engines were acting strange. Activating the comm link to the engine room, "Engineer Stanley? What's going on back there?" *"I don't know, Ms Raen! The Omega Orb is fluctuating too fast to figure it out! *POP* Ms Raen! Things are getting really bad back *crackle* Tell me, is there something strange going on up there?!"* Turning her head to look back out the window at the strange planet, "Yeah, there is some pretty strange stuff. Especially outside the ship." *"Outside the ship? That must mean we are in a bad area! Ms Raen, you need to get us out of here! The fluctuation is starting to get out of hand!"* She got off the comm link and shook Officer Blake, "Sir! Stop staring at the planet and get us out of here. Engineer Stanley suspects that the planet is messing with the engine!" He pulled his eyes away from the planet to look at her, but before he could respond, there was a deafening boom along with the ship starting to shake. She turned back to the comm link, "Stanley? Stanley! Stanley are you there?!" Only silence responded. She slammed her hoof down on the console in anger, Stanley was one of her best friends! Blake stared silently at the comm link, starting to go slightly pale. Raen turned to face him once again, and slapped him across the face. Stumbling back from the hit, he stared at her in disbelief, "Y-you can't strike an officer... You'll get in trouble." She growled at him, "I don't bucking care, as long as we get out of here!" She truly didn't care. What is life compared to imprisonment for life? He nodded and ran over to the pilot's station, giving him orders to get them out of there now. Hearing the alarm sirens start to blare and glow red, she turned to look out the window and see the planet one more time. What she saw shocked her, immensely. They crashed.
