//-------------------------------------------------------// A Night of Answers -by Fable Heart- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Answers //-------------------------------------------------------// Answers Nature Heart’s body continued to twitch her wings folded tightly against her body her breathing softening she was trying not to scream, She suddenly felt the warmth of fur and the forelegs of a pony pulling her close. She opened her eyes as the vision of her parents being impaled on crystals faded away and the familiar sight of Silver Echo’s muzzle replaced it. “Another Nightmare?” He asked stroking her mane with a hoof. She nodded. “Which one was it this time?” he asked. “ The one about my parents.” she said trying not to cry. Silver continued to stroke her mane holding her close comforting her. He then wrapped her in his magic cradling her in his warm comforting red aura as a familiar feeling came over Nature. Her depression and sadness faded as Silver gently put her down in his hooves. “Better?” he asked She nodded. “Nature you know you don’t have to keep doing this just so I can feed I hate seeing you put yourself through this for me.” she said. Nature looked up into Silver’s Eyes. “Silver. I love you and you have already done so much for me already I don’t mind if you feed off of me. You don’t feed off of other ponies, because you’re scared of what ponies would say if they saw you. But I don’t care, I don’t care if you are a changeling. You are not like Chrysalis’ hive. You are not from her hive.” She curled up closer to his chest, “And you saved me from Sombra when he had me under his control all I could hear was your voice, and that  is what woke me, and then…. when my kingdom was destroyed, you risked everything to protect me. You swore an oath to my parents, that you’d take care of me. You asked Celestia and Luna to turn me into another pony to try and give me a normal life. I know how much it hurt you to do those things, but you did it to protect me. Silver nodded and kept her close listening to her thought. “But you want to know something, when I was a normal pony I still had dreams about you, I couldn’t see your face, but I knew you were a friend. And because of that I fell in love with you over and over again. Even if I was never awoken, I would continue to fall in love with you, until I was either awoken or my time ran out.” Silver wrapped his hooves tighter around her, “I love you too Nature. I had no idea, that this is how you felt. I’m sorry you’re right I do so much for you and I don’t ask for anything. I am not cold hearted and steal love like Chrysalis but rather the emotion my hive feeds from is sadness and depression and you have a lot of it.” He nuzzled her and smiled, “ But you are lucky most ponies suffering from depression take their own lives or just retreat into addictions. But you have me I take your depression away and I never ask you what would happen if I was one day, just gone. How would it affect you?” Would you carry on, or would it throw you deeper into a depression and I wouldn’t be there to stop it?” Nature’s Eyes softened she knew the day would come when Silver would ask her this and she had plenty of time to answer. It was something she had to think of every time Silver had to go away to battle. The questions that always come to mind burns in her mind as she watches Silver march away to battle with his comrades and friends. Will he come home safe or will this be the battle he won’t come home from. Nature would often have nightmares about Silver dying on the battlefield and she would wake up crying and screaming Luna would often come into her room and she would sit with her oldest friend assuring her everything would be fine. When Silver’s forces would come home battered and bruised Nature would run out and practically jump into Silver’s open forelegs crying with tears of joy. She had done this same routine for years, but with the elements of harmony being returned to the tree of Harmony Equestria was finally at peace. There was no need for the royal guard to go to war now a days they guard the Canterlot Castle and the princesses. But Nature never forgot the answer to those questions she knew one day she would have to answer “Silver I won’t go down that path if you were gone I would be sad and I would miss you yes but I wouldn’t end my life because I know you would be with me always. Watching over me. But I had to ask myself that every time you went to war.” she said Silver hugged her tightly and then lifted her chain with his hoof and kissed her. Nature blushed as she closed her eyes enjoying the kiss, with the world around her faded. All her worries, her fears, everything faded only her and Silver existed she felt like she was floating. She was in complete bliss as Silver pulled away and pulled her on top of him.She looked at him blushing as he begins to kiss her neck. “Sil- Silver?” “Nature please let me do this. I had no idea you had to think of that every time I was away.” he said Nature smiled happy that she was so lucky to have some pony so special to her a pony that was so different some pony others would see as a monster for being different. But Nature didn’t care Silver was hers and hers alone he was her special somepony. “Ok just be gentle.”
