The Prince and the Peasant

Fluttershy stared at the strange creature that she was dancing with.She did have to confess that he was an amazing dancer.

"My dear you are a great dancer" Discord said as he twirled Fluttershy and then faced him again.

"T...Thank you y..your not bad yourself" she muttered.She thought to her self i don't want to tell him I'm not a Royal but I don't like telling lies or keeping secrets from other ponies.

"Sorry I never properly introduced myself my name is Prince Discord and as you can tell this party is for me" He said as they glided over to the middle of the Ball Room.

"Nice to meet you Prince Discord my name is .. P..Princess Fluttershy and as you can tell I came here because I got an invite to your coronation party." She said and forced a little giggle.

They where lost in each other's mind Discord was all cheery to find out she was a princess but Fluttershy was not all giddy about lying to a PRINCE a real prince.Discord was about to talk when the music slowed down and Pinkie Pie came rushing over to show him and his partner a place where they could sit and talk.

"Hey Discord me and Rarity found a table where me,AJ,RD,twilight,you and princess Fluttershy can sit together com'on I'll show you" Pinkie said as she pulled discord who was holding Fluttershy and they arrived at the table.

Prince Blueblood walked over to Queen Flur de lis who was sitting at a table and drinking her punch.

"Who does that mare think she is just randomly showing up and then the prince gets all goo goo as she glided down the stairs I need to....."

"I see I'm not the only pony who is curious about that mare am I "? Blueblood asked as he sat down be side her.

"No your not seriously she cam out of the blue there was only 99. Princess/Prince's invited to this party and I know because a asked one of his servants last week and besides we all have a little crush on at least some pony." She looked at Blueblood with a "I like you" look he just blushed.

"Anyway I want you to keep an eye on that Princess and you will get a treat at the end of you give me any information that I like" Queen Flur de lis stood up and then kissed him on the cheek and then left to refill her punch.

"Hi my name is Rarity you must be Princess Fluttershy?" Rarity said as they finally reached the table.She wanted to say hi first since Twilight told her about Fluttershy when they first met.

"Yes and may I ask if I could catch all of your names?" Fluttershy asked as discord pulled out her seat and then sat beside her.

"Ok I'll start My name is Rarity I've been working for this family for most of my life I love fashion and back at home I have a 14 year old sister Sweetie Belle with a colt friend named Button Mash anyway I always like to make new friends." Fluttershy nodded and the turned to Apple Jack.

"Howdy my names Apple Jack but my friends call me AJ I've been workin with the Royal family for 12 years I have a little sis her names Apple Bloom she's 14 the same as Sweetie Belle and aswell has a Colt friend name:Tender Taps I live on a farm with Granny Smith Big Mac and my dog Winona I always be honest with my friends." Fluttershy nodded again and turned to Rainbow Dash.

"Hi my name is Rainbow Dash I've been with the Royal family for 9 years I don't have any siblings but I know a pony and her name's Scootaloo I took her under my wing she is 14 aswell she is best friends with Apple Bloom and Sweetie belle I live in Clouds Dale with Scootaloo and my Dad I always be loyal to my friends." Fluttershy was now in the zone and turned to twilight.

"Hi I'm twilight we have met before but never really introduced each other I've been working with The Royal family for the longest in this group I have a brother named Shining Amour and a Sister-in-law Princess Cadence I live here because before I lived so far from Drocnia it was hard to get up but now I have a room here we all do but I stay here all the time I always help my friends." She finishe and Fluttershy looke at pinkie pie.

"Hi my names pinkie pie I've been working with the Royal family for 17 years I have three sisters maud pie is my favourite I lived on a rock farm but now I live in a bakery here in Drocnia I love to have fun and throw parties and make my friends laugh I also made up my pinkie promise to always make my friends laugh." Fluttershy then turned and said......

"I'm so glad I got to meet you all but this is my favourite song so umm..." She glanced at discord who looked back " w..would you like to dance again Discord?" She asked him he nodded his head the she slide her hoof under his paw and the made their way over to the dance floor and danced again.

"I have a feeling she's the one" Apple Jack said as she seen Fluttershy and Discord blush at each other.

After sometime the music ended and Discord did one last twirl with Fluttershy after that his parents cam up to him and said.

"We want to congratulate you again son we now you'll make a great ruler one day..oh who's this." Eris said as she seen Fluttershy.

"This is my friend princess Fluttershy" Discord then realised his parents sent out all the invites but he sent hers privately.

"I don't remember inviting anypony called Fluttershy do you Louise?" Louise glanced at his son and seen the sweat on him and then realised what he did .

"I do I invited her just a few days ago there was a mix up so delivered it my self to her palace." Discord looked like 10000 pounds of weight was lifted of his shoulders.

"Oh ok anyway have to go and mingle see you soon dear". Eris said as she seen Princess Melody wave at her.

"Why don't I show you the Royal Garden to get some fresh air my dear." Discord asked Fluttershy but he needed the fresh air more.

"Ok I would love that I love gardens and animals." Fluttershy said as they made their way to the doors...

But what they didn't know that when a Royal receives their full power a fate gift appears for their future king/Queen and that's exactly what discord's powers where doing.
