I just moved here from the big city of Canterlot, and the change... Well I don't like it. In Canterlot there are always big crowds that you can blend into, where people can think you're part of a group of friends just by walking next to them. Here in Ponyville, well everyone is friends with everyone. Ugh. It drives me insane! I don't need friends, I need to study! But will Mayor Celestia allow me too? Nooo. Move to Ponyville! Make some friends! What good does friends do? Oh! And also just when I was about to find out what the elements of harmony are, guess what, Twilight! We're moving! At least our apartment is above a Library! The Golden Oak Library. That's where I'll be spending my day. Well until we move back to Canterlot. But nooo that's too easy, Twilight! Your going to go to Ponyville High School! Whip wee! Make some friends, stop studing! Those are the worst words anyone can put into a sentence. I had friends...ish. Well, they could do magic, and we talked sometimes...for a few minutes. Here I didn't even know if anyone could do magic! There were four types of people in Equestria, Magic-doers, Pegastisters, Bronies, and Alicorns. Pegastisters had wings so they could fly, Magic-doers could do magic, Bronies were normal humans, and Alicorns had all three. They could do magic and fly. I wasn't looking where I was walking and slammed into a girl. I noticed certain details that made me kinda want to run away from her. She had bright pink hair -the unmistakable scent of hairspray no less- crazy bright light blue eyes, she was wearing a charm bracelet -like mine- with three balloons, on it two were blue and one was yellow. Mine was a pink star with five smaller white stars around it. The girl was a brony, she didn't have wings or a magic aura. She wore a light pink skrit and a small darker pink vest. Her skirt also had her three balloons on it. She looked like a year or so older than me because she was an inch or two taller than me. I looked down at what I was wearing. I was also wearing a skirt -Ponyvillie High requirement- but it was purple not pink, and a vest, mine was darker shade of purple. Also on my skirt was my star. Make some friends. Celestia's voice rang though my mind. "Ugh... Hi?" I said. I bushed one of dark brown/purple hairs out of my face. I had straight dark brown/purple hair with a lighter brown streak and a hot pink streak. The girl blinked and said nothing for a moment, then gasped so loud that I thought you could hear it in Canterlot. Then she ran off. "Well that was interesting." I said out loud. "Just ignore her. She's always like that." A country accent voice said behind me. I spun around and saw a blonde hair girl with her hair in a ponytail. She was a brony too. She wore a light brown skirt with three red apples, a orange vest, a cowboy hat, and a charm bracelet, which had three red apples. She had calm green eyes and freckles all over face. She was a few inches taller than me, too. "I'm Applejack, and y'all are..." She said stretching out a hand. I shook it. "Twilight Sparkle." I told her. She smiled. She had a bag slung over her shoulder. "Good. I'm supposed to show ya around." She said. Applejack walked in front of me and looked over shoulder. "Come on, Twilight." She called. We walked in silence for a few minutes until a dark shadow looked over our heads. I looked up and saw a Pegastister with light blue wings, soaring towards me with incredible speed. Applejack saw the Pegastister too. "Oh, Great Celestia." She said. She pushed me out of the way as the Pegastister swooped in. I heard someone laughing like it amused them. When the Pegastister swooped in I could tell it was a girl. I also caught a glimpse of rainbow hair? Weird. Mud soaked the spot where I was standing a moment before. The rainbow girl flew away laughing. I looked at Applejack, she looked angry. "Uhm. Who was that?" I asked. Applejack clenched her hands. Her breathing became shallow. "RAINBOW!" She screamed. The rainbow girl dropped in front of us. With a flash of magic her baby blue wings vanished. She wore black running shorts, a blue vest, and a charm bracelet. On both her vest and her charm bracelet was a red, blue, and yellow lightning bolt. She had long rainbow hair in a ponytail, and magenta eyes. I could tell she had powerful muscles underneath her skin. She also had kinda a I'm-so-good-you-can't-beat-me-just-try look in her eyes, which would of made her intimidating.....but she was like a foot shorter than me. Applejack could beat her up easily. Applejack tapped her foot on the ground. She had an evil look in her eye. The Rainbow Girl didn't notice, she kept smiling like nothing was wrong. "Hey! It's A-jack!" She said. Rainbow Girl had a raspy voice. Which matched her style. "What up?" She asked. Applejack kept tapping her foot. "What in all of Equestria was that, Rainbow Dash!?" She screamed. Well the rainbow hair makes sense now. Rainbow rolled her eyes. "It's awesome!" She complained. From the way she used the awesome she must of used it a lot. "You dive in. Then you land! You can't say you lived until you're...." She paused of a second. As of thinking. "15,000 feet off the ground." She said smiling. Then she narrowed her eyes. She smiled widened. "Here let me show you." She said grabbing Applejack by the wrist and started flying into the sky, her wings out. I didn't expect Rainbow to be that strong, despite her size. "RAINBOW DASH!!!!!" Applejack screamed. I rasied an eyebrow as Rainbow and Applejack flew off. Rainbow Dash laughing as Applejack struggled and cursed. "What the-" I said. "Oh, no. What did Rainbow do this time?" A voice came from behind me. How many people are behind me? I mean come on. So, I turned and saw a Magic-doer girl with brown curly hair that in the sunlight looked purple. She wore a white vest, a long purple skirt, and of course a charm bracelet. Her symbol was three blue diamonds. I should explain the symbols. So, when we are small we don't have a symbol. But if we do something that is so important to us, well a mark appears on our hips, and to show you aren't a blank-flank you wear your symbol. "Uhm. The Rainbow Girl grabbed uhm, Applejack and started to fly away." I said. And Applejack was my guide. Oh well. "Oh, dearie. That's Rainbow Dash if your wondering. Smaller than a Shetland pony, but stronger than a horse." She said sighing looking up at the sky. She looked at me. "I'm Rarity and- you-hoo-hoo! What happened to you hair?!" She gasped. I noticed that my hair was a mess. Courtesy of Rainbow Dash no less. "Oh, it's nothing. I better get to school don't want to be late. I'll be out of your hair." Rarity's mouth opened and closed. Then she straighten her vest. "My hair?! What about your hair?! It's a mess, darling!" She said grabbing me by the wrist and walking towards the school. When we got there she shoved me in the nearest girls bathroom and started to look threw her bag. Until finally she found a white dress. I rasied an eyebrow. "Uhm. I don't need that, but thanks." I said trying to slip out. Rarity used her magic to close the door. I turned to look at her. She had a pouty look on her face. "At least let me comb out your hair?" She whimpered. I rolled my eyes. "Fine." I said threw my gritted teeth. Rarity clapped happily. Around twenty minutes Rarity finally let me go! Just then Applejack ran out from around the corner, she had a smile on her face. Rainbow flew from around the same corner laughing. Applejack looked like she ran a mile. Rainbow looked the same. But they both had a smile on their faces. Applejack stopped in front of me and put her hands on her knees and took deep breaths. Rainbow landed, putting her wings away. Applejack glared at her. "Hey, Newbie! You should of seen A-jack when we reached 10,000 feet! She was all like 'ahh!'" she said mimicking Applejack. I rasied an eyebrow, I was doing that a lot today. Applejack looked at me. "Then she dropped me at 13,000 feet." Applejack snapped. Rainbow looked like she couldn't contain her laughter. "You... You... You should of seen her face! " She managed to get out. Applejack kept glaring. "And then-" she began. "And then I caught her and put her down at Ponyville Park!" Rainbow said rolling her hand like it was nothing. Applejack wasn't satisfied. "All the way across town." She commented. Rainbow launched herself back in the air. Still laughing. "What in all of Equestria is this?!" A Magic-doer girl with red hair with blonde highlights said. Her blueish green eyes were so intense that Rainbow Dash landed. Which I had a feeling she doesn't take lightly. She wore a blood red vest, light orange skirt, and a charm bracelet, it was a sun with a Ying and Yang in the center. "Well, Sunset. We were just-" Applejack tried to explain, but Sunset stomped her foot, Applejack flinched and stopped taking. Sunset stepped forward getting in her face. "I said no friendship between different pony races." Applejack looked away. Rainbow looked down. I looked between them all. I stepped forward. I couldn't let her have power over them. Besides why should they listen to her? "And why should they listen to you?" I snapped. She turned her glaze at me. Rainbow and Applejack looked at me. "Because I'm their Student Body President, Sunset Shimmer!" She said. She took a step towards me, I could smell her breath. It smelled of mint toothpaste. "And I declared that no one, no one! Will cross paths in friendship!" She snapped. She turned her eyes to Rainbow. "Why don't you find your shy friend. What's her name? Oh! Fluttershy!" She slammed her foot down making Rainbow flinched. "NOW!" Sunset yelled at her. Rainbow Dash flew off. Applejack looked at her as she flew away. Was that a wisp of sadness in her eyes? Just today I saw them fighting and laughing together. I was so clueless, were they rivals or best friends? I didn't know. She turned on Applejack. "Now, now little hayseed. Go find your pink whatever friend." She said rolling her eyes. Applejack looked at her. "I can't, Sunset. I have to show Twilight Sparkle here around." She said darting her eyes around. Sunset sighed and straighten her vest and smoothed her skirt. "Fine. Today only. But after today, if I see you with her! You know the consequences, little hayseed!" She said walking off. Applejack sighed and looked at Twilight. "Come on Twi, I'll show y'all around." She said walking away. I had to jog after to catch up. What was wrong with this school? Chapter 2"Who was that?" I asked Applejack. Applejack looked down. "I'm supposed to show y'all to yer classes, not make small talk." She murmured softly. I rasied an eyebrow. "Why do you follow her?" I persisted. Applejack didn't say anything. We walked in silence for a few minutes. Until we came to the courtyard just in front of the school. Applejack looked over her shoulder at the doors of the school. I looked back wall and saw Sunset walking way. Was she following us? Why in all of Equestria would she do that? "To answer your first question, that was Sunset Shimmer, Student Body President. After our last President graduated, Sunset was super nice and ran. So naturally everyone voted for her. Big mistake. After she got elected, she showed us her true colors." Applejack said quickly. She kept on turning her head to make sure no one else heard her, but why? "Why did you revote for her?" I asked. Applejack looked at me. Her eyes full of sorrow. "Because she knows secrets. Her and her sister, Diamond Tiara, can both sniff out secrets and exploit them to the whole world with one flick of a finger. And while Sunset rules High School, her sister rules the Middle School. Making everyone miserable." She said. I looked down. That's why they were afraid of her. What secrets does she even know? "Why do she hate different ponies hanging out together?" I asked, but, Applejack shook her head . "Nobody knows. And if we don't follow her, we can be kicked out of school." My, eyes grew wide. I rubbed my hand on my other arm. "Why would she hate friendship that much?" Crap! I said that one out loud! Applejack shrugged. "No one knows. All we know is, if we have friends that aren't our race, we have to be off school grounds to hang out." She sighed. "Some friendships just broke, like Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon. They stayed in touch after a while, but then Lyra found new Unicorn friends and left Bon Bon." She looked into the distance. "So do you have any Unicorn or Pegastister friends?" I asked. Applejack looked at me then clamped a hand on my mouth. She glanced around, but there was no one there. Why was she so nervous? "I'm not really meant to have Unicorn or Pegastister friends." She said removing her hand. It strangely smelled like apples. "What about Rainbow Dash?" I asked. If she said 'We aren't friends,' I'll know she's lying. Applejack turned red. She bit her lip and again looked around. "She's my best friend. She helps me out on the farm sometimes, and other times.... She crashes into me." Applejack said. Best friend? But they agured like little school girls. "She an athlete, and I'm the only one who can keep up with her. If I don't drain her out.... Let's say she would find another outlet. A bad outlet for her energy." A bad outlet? Ohh... Oh. How often did Rainbow get in trouble as a kid? "So you hang out with her after school." Applejack looked at me. Dead in the eye. "Can I trust ya to keep a secret?" She asked. I tore my eyes away, thinking. I thought about it for a moment, she could trust me. That's a fact, but how can I trust her? I lingered on the thought for a moment then replied. "Yes. You can trust me." I told her. She smiled. "A few kids and I believe that Sunset Shimmer needs her rain of power to end. We're called the EoH." She said. My eyebrows borrowed together. "EoH?" I asked. What does EoH mean? Does it stand for something, or is it just catchy? "Elements of Harmony. EoH." She explained. I perked up a bit. Maybe they have some more information about the Elements of Harmony, that I could learn. "We don't really know what the Elements of Harmony exactly do, but we know they're powerful. And that's what we want to become, powerful enough to overthrow Sunset." Oh, dang it! They don't know. I was about to ask another question when a loud bell rang. I looked up in surprise. "Come on, Twilight. That's the warning bell to get to class, and yours is all the way across campus! You'll have some of members of the EoH in your classes. First period..." She paused looking at the name and room on the tiny piece of paper. "Well ya have Rainbow in frist, Second-" "Applejack! Did you show the Newbie her classes?" Applejack and I looked up to see Sunset Shimmer standing over us like a vulture. But she wasn't alone this time. A Unicorn girl with light blue highlights mixed in with her fine blonde hair. Her vest was a dark blue and her skirt was a light turquoise. Her charm bracelet had a wand with gittler all around it. She had a scowl on her face and disapproving look in her eyes, so did Sunset. Applejack lowered the paper. "Yeah, but-" she began. "I said you can show her around! And you did! So go!" She said flickering her hands at her like she shooing off an annoying fly. Her follower flicked her hand at her, too. "Hum! Go now! The Great and Powerful Trixie doesn't want to be seen with a lowlife brony like you." Trixie said. I fought the urge to stand up to Trixie and defend Applejack. But I pushed down that feeling. Applejack sighed and handed me the paper. "Bye, Twilight Sparkle." She said walking off. Why didn't she call be Twi, or Twilight. Wait, if she said my nickname Sunset would of known we were.... Ugh....becoming friends. Sunset and Trixie watched as she jogged off. Then they turned their eyes on me. I suddenly became very nervous. "I better get going, bye!" I said running off. Author's Note I'll try to get to the chapter as fast as I can!!!! Stay in tune! Chapter 3I ran all the way to room 23. Mr. Discord, math. Applejack told me earlier that there were some.... Odd rumors about him. Like him being absolutely mad, chaotic, nuts, crazy; take your pick. Applejack didn't have any of his classes so she only guessed. But Rainbow told her that he was insane. When I got to room 23, Rainbow was already there. Hovering over the doorway looking around like she was looking for someone. When she saw Twilight she smiled but didn't touch back down. She continued to search. When Twilight walked over Rainbow was muttering something. " She's late, but she's never late. Isn't this her favorite class?" she muttered. She must of brought a change of clothes because now she was wearing dark blue skrit with a stripe of rainbow on one corner. "Who's late?" I asked waking underneath her. Rainbow glanced down. Then back up, sighed and landed. "Fluttershy, my friend from Cloudsdale Elementary, and Middle." She replied. Cloudsdale was city in the clouds, on Pegastisters could stand on clouds, -unless you have a cloud-walking spell, oh! I need to learn that!- so it was only Pegastisters. "She's never late. Mr. Discord won't be too happy if she's late, I can handle him, but I don't think Flutters...." Her voice drifted off. "Why? Does Mr. Discord not like ponies being tardy?" I asked. Rainbow smiled. "You just let Dash handle that." She rose in the air again. I remembered what Applejack said about her being a athlete, she was always running or flying. She stretched out her arms. "Well, if you see Flutters, tell her I'm doing a few laps before class." I looked at her. We only had two minutes to get to class and she was going to do laps? She must of noticed my expression. Because she laughed. "Don't worry, Rainbow Danger Dash, is alway late. Besides I can make it there in..." She paused confused for a second. Then she shrugged. "Bah, time doesn't matter, speed does. Later!" She called and she flew off, causing dust to fly. 'Okay Rainbow Dash's middle name is Danger. " Don't believe her, no one knows her middle name. Once she said it was professionalism, another Jennifer, just last week she said it was Daring. Everyone is confused. I think she likes it that way." said a quiet voice. I turned and was a strawberry blonde Pegastister girl with a light yellow vest, light pink skrit and a charm bracelet with three pink butterflies. This must be Fluttershy. I thought. "Hi, I'm Twilight Sparkle. And you are..." I said even though I knew name, I thought it would make me sound like a stalker. Her turquoise eyes were the same color as Sunset Shimmer's which would of scared me if she had been angry or mad. But she was calm, she wasn't mad or angry, in fact she seemed like she didn't really want to talk to me. She had a quiet voice, and her hair that covered one of her eyes, most likely so she didn't have to make eye contact, that's actually a pretty good idea. She froze in place, her eyes -or eye- shown in fear. It's.... Fluttershy." She murmured. I stared at her. Did she say Fluttershy? I couldn't tell, or hear. "What was that?" I asked. She shrinked back down. She was really nervous. "Uhm....it's.... Fluttershy." she said even more quiet. I smiled awkwardly. Just then Rainbow returned snickering. She landed in front of us. "Okay, okay, okay. I got bored during lap three so I decided...." She cut off because she was still laughing. "To....prank..... Principle Mare!" Fluttershy looked up at her in alarm. "Rainbow, I-don't-know-your-middle-name, Dash!" She scolded her. She put her hands to her hips. Rainbow wasn't affected. She smiled at Fluttershy. "And you'll never know, Flutters!" She said launching herself back in the air. Fluttershy flew up also, she had light yellow wings. They didn't look as strong as Rainbow's, it looked like they could hardly lift her up. "If you prank Principal Mare, you're going to get expelled!" She said. Rainbow stopped laughing, maybe she knew what it meant to be expelled. But she looked more confused that ashamed. "I didn't prank Principal Mare, that would just me stupid! I pranked Pinkie. I said Principal Mare, because someone else pranked her this morning and I couldn't stop laughing. Oh! Oh! Oh! Here Pinkie comes!" She said landing biting her lip. The girl from earlier today walked up to her, which was covered in pink everything, and opened it up. Immediately she was buried under fifty whipped cream cans. Rainbow laughed so hard. Fluttershy signed and landed. I was about to walk over to see if she was hurt, but her head popped up in the middle of the whipped cream avalanche. "Wow, Dashie! You got me good!" She commented grabbing a random whipped cream can and spraying it in her mouth and eating it. "Howph youh do ith?" She asked her mouth still full of whip cream. Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Your locker is right next to mine it was easy." She bragged walking over to hers. She opened it. "See-WHOA!" And soon she was hidden underneath twenty pounds worth of sports equipment. Her head popped up she was laughing. "Okay, Pinks. You got me!" Pinkie walked over to her, or bounced over, and helped her up. Then Pinkie noticed me. She was in the middle of helping Rainbow up, so when Pinkie walked over to me, she fell back down into the sport equipment. "Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie! I saw you earlier, remember?! And well I couldn't talk to you cause I had to prank Dashie and then I had finish my Science homework. Then I had to work on a surprise, then I wanted to see what my sister Maud was doing. And well when I looked at you I remembered that I had to do all of those things! Wait! I forgot about Gummy!?!" She said. I didn't understand half of what she had said, and to be honest I didn't really care. I realized something. Rainbow was a trouble maker, Rarity was a diva, Applejack was a work-freak, Fluttershy was too why for her own good, and Pinkie could even remember to do her homework. These girls were just too....too....odd. They had too many flaws. "Well I better be going to class." I said. Rainbow, who survived the sports equipment, stood by the doorway. She sighed. "I better come too. One more tardy and Principal Mare would make me live in detention." She said flying into the room. "Hummm me too." she said walking in. I looked at Pinkie who was trying to stuff all the whipped cream cans in her backpack. She was taking out random things too. Like a book about rubber chickens, a microphone, a random stuffed animal. After a while she looked up at me and pulled out a rubber alligator. But then it blinked. "'Ahh!" I said. Pinkie laughed. "Silly! This is my pet alligator Gummy! He doesn't have any teeth so he's harmless! Don't be afraid!" She said stroking her pet. The bell rang again. And Pinkie stuffed Gummy along with five more cans into her bag and bounced off. I stared as she bounced off. Then I shock my head and walked into class. 'Make some friends!' Celestia's voice said again. No thanks, the people in this town where crazy!!!!! Author's Note Wow! Chapter 4Second period I had Rarity and Pinkie, third Fluttershy and Applejack, fourth I had all of them, fifth Rainbow, Pinkie, and Applejack, sixth Rarity, Pinkie, and Rainbow. It. Was. Exhausting. Having them all day long. Ugh! They also wanted me to be their friend. I know that Celestia wanted me to make friends, but these people where nuts, crazy, off their rocker. But Rainbow was right, Mr. Discord was insane. He got upset at Treehugger be a she tried to sit next to Fluttershy even though she's a brony. He was so nuts that he jumped out the window and flew away on his bat and brid wings after that. I started walking away form school when... "Pssst!" I looked around. No one was there. So I kept waking. "Pssst!" I looked around again. All that was there was dirt road, a few houses every here and there, and a few bushes. I heard someone angrily groan. "Oh my Celestia!" Some quietly cursed. Someone was behind the bush? "Shh! Rainbow!" Applejack said. I heard another groan. Rainbow popped up out of the bush. "Over here, Twi." She said flying towards the bush. Applejack stood up. "Really?" She said. She and Rainbow had changed clothes. Applejack was wearing a plain white button up t-shirt, and jean shorts. Along with her cowboy -or cowgirl- hat and boots. Rainbow looked like she was going for a jog. She wore a Extra-Small blue running jacket over a white T-shirt. Also size Extra-Small. She wore her running shorts, rainbow socks, and running shoes. Rainbow smiled. "It got too boring for my taste. Besides we were following her for two blocks, and nothing!" She said. I looked at Applejack. She blushed at me. Then turned on Rainbow. "She wasn't supposed to know that! Now she thinks we're stalkers!" She said. Rainbow swooped down and landed to get in her face. She narrowed her eyes. She rasied her hand to forhead pulled a zipper down her face all the way down her body to reveal... Pinkie? Standing...in...a.... Rainbow Dash suite? Okay I was right these people are crazy. But Applejack looked as surprised as me. "Wha?" She began, but she didn't finish her sentence. "And what's wrong with being a stalker?! I stalk Dashie all the time! I also put a tracking device in her Cupcake once! I know exactly where she is!" She said. Applejack said nothing. Which was probably a good thing. Pinkie was wearing a bright neon pink shirt with the words 'Lets PARTY!!!' in a darker pink with gittler all around it, and a light magenta skirt with three ballons on. My eyebrows burrowed together. "Why didn't you stop her from pranking you then?" I asked. She turned on me. I had a sudden urge to run away as fast as I could. "Because! Being pranked is fun! And Dashie and I love to prank each other! Like the time she put whip cream in my P.E shoes. Or or or the time she changed my hair spray out for whip cream! Then she did it again with silly string! Then she made a life size me made out of pure cake! And the time she traded out my earrings out for candy corn. One time she filled the entire locker room with jello! Ha! We had to eat or way to our lockers! Man! That was good jello! Another time she took Gummy and replaced him with a crocodile!" She giggled. "Oh and the best prank ever in the history of pranks! She hid in my closet and when I opened it she went BOO!" she fell to he grown laughing. I didn't understand at all what she said. Just then her phone made a small beeping noise in a catchy ring tone. She stopped laughing long enough to pull out her phone and check it. "Oh! Dashie is only a block away!" She said. Define physics she somehow got up with her hand at her side and not bending her knees at all. Then she began to hop away. I blinked and looked at Applejack. "I got no idea." She replied. Just then Dash did a other fly by and landed; Thor style. One fist to the ground, wings extended, another hand at her side. The dirt flinched when she pounded her fist into the ground. Fluttershy who was following her landed too. Not as dramatic as Rainbow's landing though. Dash got up and walked over to Pinkie, who was standing with her mouth open. Rainbow was wearing the same thing as Pinkie's Rainbow Suite. Accept the real Rainbow wore black leather gloves that revealed her back knuckles and fingers. "Wow, Dashie! That was awesome!" Pinkie said jumping up and down. Rainbow smiled, I could tell she like the praise. "Ha! Not so stupid now, Applejack?! Heh?" She said turning to Applejack. A.J rolled her eyes. Then Rainbow saw me, her smile faded. She looked angry. She stomped her foot in frustration. "Oh Sweet Celestia! She came!" She said. Applejack smirked and walked over to her. "Ha! Now come on! Y'all said twenty bucks and ah box of fruit roll ups. So pay up." She said pitting her hand on her hips. What were they talking about? Rainbow dug threw her pocket and gave Applejack twenty bucks. She rolled her eyes. "I'll get your box tomorrow. K?" She said rolling her eyes. Applejack looked smug. "What?" I said. Then I realized that I could of escaped when they weren't paying attention to me. Oh Sweet Celestia! I blew it! Applejack looked at me. "Rainbow Dash was for sure that you wouldn't come." She told me. Okay, Rainbow Dash thought I wouldn't come so she and Applejack made a bet and Rainbow lost. Makes sense. Rainbow huffed. "Okay so what am I doing here?" I asked. They looked at each other. "Not until Rarity arrives." Fluttershy said. I sighed. More time making friends than studing. Yay. After a while I heard barking. I walked out of the bush and saw Spike. Spike was my assistant dragon. Unlike most dragons -that I have little to nothing knowledge about-face Spike didn't have wings. He ran on four legs, he was the size of a large Chihuahua. He was purple with green spikes. I had to put a collar on him because once he almost ran away. His collar was a dark purple with white spikes on it. He could also breath fire, and when he was a baby you needed fireproof everything everything! But he could also send scrolls to Mayor Celestia. Okay, back to Spike. He was running along the dirt path barking, roaring, and growling all at the same time. Most likely looking for me. He didn't talk either. But sometimes i wish he could. "Spike!" I said jumping out of the bush and into the the pathway. Spike stopped his rampage and flew into my arms. "Twilight! There was this girl and she hit me with a blast of magic! I didn't really know what to do. Because you said you would be back in six hours, fourty eight minutes, and seventeen seconds! And after six hours, fourty eight minutes, and twenty six seconds I got worried!" He said. I stared at him. He was talking. "Uhm.. Spike? I think I know what that spell did." Spike stared at me. "Really what?" He said chocking his head to the side. I did a mental faceplam. "You are talking to me." I said. He kept staring. I waited then I noticed he wasn't staring at me, but behind me. I turned around and Spike immediately turned too. I saw Rarity in a simple long white dress that flowed in the wind. Her hair was in a French braid. The way Spike stared at her I knew he liked her. "Beautiful..." He whispered. I said smiled. "Beautiful indeed." I said. Author's Note Just then Dash did a other fly by and landed; Thor style. One of my favorite lines I got to write. Along with... "Hi! I'm Spike!" He said. Rainbow and Applejack looked Dumbfoundead, Pinkie looked fascinated, and Fluttershy looked so excited she looked like she could explode. "Oh! My!!! A baby dragon!" She said grabbing Spike and swinging him around in the air. "This is so amazing, I mean a talking dragon!" She squealed. Rainbow got over her shock, looked at Applejack and promptly shoved her to the ground. Applejack looked at Rainbow who was laughing. "That's it, Shortie! Your getin' it!" She said jumping up trying to grab Dash. But she jumped into the air and hovered there out of Applejack's reach. As Applejack jumped Rainbow somehow managed to grab her hat. "Hey?!" Applejack yelped as Rainbow put it on her own head. "Give it back!" She said jumping up again. Rainbow stuck out a tongue at her. "Hummm. No." She said. Applejack chased after her. "Darlings! You're going to get us caught!" Rarity said slipping delicately threw the bush. While Rainbow was distracted, Applejack managed to grab her leg and pull her down. And before Dash could react, Applejack flipped her on her stomach and sat on her back. Not letting her go. "Applejack?! What the huh?!" She said, flinging her hands around. Applejack grabbed her hat. "Thanks, Sugarcube!" She said. Rainbow growled. "Applejack....let me up....or I'LL DO TO YOU WHAT I DID TO FLOWERS GLOW!!!!!" she screamed. Applejack looked down at her. Fluttershy out her hands to her mouth. "Applejack! She put Flowers Glow in the hospital!" She hissed. Applejack huffed. Pinkie looked like the verge of laughing. And Rarity's eyes glowed, like she was off in her own world. "Pfft! Really? This Shortie?" She asked. Rainbow's eyes grew big. Her breathing became shallow. "Did you?" Rainbow asked. Fluttershy looked even more scared. "No she didn't! Please stop!" She pleaed. "Just.... insult my size?" She asked. Applejack glared down. Then stretched out still on top of her. She yawned. Rarity gasped, her smile -for no reason- widened. "Yeah, why? Did you think I believe someone your size could put someone in the hospital? I mean yer a mini!" She said smiling. Rainbow's shoulders relaxed. "Applejack can you let me up?" She asked her voice steadily clam. Applejack shrugged. "What the hay." She said getting up. Rainbow scrapped to her feet. She puffed out her wings. Her outfit was a bit dirty from her time on the ground. But other than that she seemed fine. "Mini?" She asked. Getting in Applejack's face. "Half-pint." She replied with a smug look on her face, stepping closer. Rarity squealed. Fluttershy walked over to her, and soon, two conversation were happening and I only caught glimpse of each. "Why did you squealed?" Fluttershy asked. Rarity clapped her hands together. "Isn't Appledash just soooo cute?!" She said as Applejack and Rainbow continued to agure. With Pinkie rolling around on the ground, laughing. "Shortie!" "Hayseed!" "Pony!" "Horse!" "They aren't in love Rarity! Can't you see them aguring?" Fluttershy said. "Well, they fight like a married old couple! And Appledash-" "Ya can't even get my face, yer so short!" "Lair!" "There is no Appledash!" "There is!" "Not!" "Stupid cowgirl!" "Dumb City-slider!" "Well, well well? What do we have here?" a new voice asked, and Sunset Shimmer walked threw the bush. Only to find Applejack and Rainbow lost in a agurement, and Rarity and Fluttershy staring angrily at each other -Fluttershy's wings puffed out-, with Pinkie rolling around on the ground. Sunset glanced at the scene, and knew immediately what was happening. Sunset sighed. "This is why, crossing pony races, are a bad thing." She said with fake sympathy. "I mean, Rainbow could of never stolen Applejack's hat if she was a Brony, and Rainbow would of had a real chase!" She looked down, as if she was lost in thought, but I could tell she had rehearsed this. "And... I will have to ask you to..... Never, ever.....see one another,....ever again!" She looked like she had tears in her eyes, like she was too upset to continue. But the look in her eyes, and the evil smile on her face, said otherwise. "Fine by me!" Rainbow snapped. What?! I thought Applejack said that she was her best friend, she must breaking- "I don't even want to talk to another Pegastister, or Unicorn FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!" Applejack yelled. The other girls turned there backs on one another. "Me too!" They all said together, all but Rarity. What was happening to the EoH? Weren't they all friends? "Come on, Flutters! I don't even know why my dad wanted to move here, anymore. Let's go convince our parents to move back to Cloudsdale, were there are some civilized ponies!" Rainbow said, grabbing Fluttershy by the wrist and flying off. "You are a bunch of losers! And Rarity?" Fluttershy said. Rarity looked up. "There. Will. Never. Be. Appledash." She said. Then flew faster to catch Dash. "Huff! You may of broke Fluttershy and Dash! But you wouldn't ever break me!" Rarity said folding her arms together. Sunset smiled. "Your friends never cared about your ships. To them, it was just a silly way of releasing romantic side. No one understood you. Did any of them, try to help you with you fashion shop? No! They think fashion is silly too." Sunset had a way with words. Because Rarity was red with anger. "Let's go, Pinkie! The stupidity of these Unicorns is sinkn' up the place." Applejack said walking away. Pinkie bounced after her. "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid stupid stupid! Stupid Unicorns!" Pinkie said in a sing song voice. Applejack laughed. Pinkie smiled. "I love to see my real friend smile!" She said. Rarity stomped her foot to the ground. "And that is the last straw!" She said. "Come on Twilight! Let's go to my Boutique to get away from these Ruffians! Humf!" She said walking off. Spike hoovering in the air then with tail -like a little helicopter- floated towards Rarity. Following her down the path. I looked at Sunset. She rasied an eyebrow. "Now you know were your new, and true friends lie." She said then she flicked her hand like she did earlier to Applejack. "So go on." She said. Then I looked back at Rarity and Spike, there were nearly out of sight. I couldn't let Spike just run off like that. It's almost his bedtime! So I made my decision and raced after them. Sunset sat in a bland chair, in fact eveything in this house was bland. Nothing stood out. Everything was the same. "So, I have questions for you." the girl across the table said. her voice was clear and bold, she was obviously a leader, from the way she said her words. "Are you ready?" She asked. "Yes." Sunset said leaning forward. The darkness in the room didn't allow Sunset to see her company's face. But she could tell she smiled. " Why have you come to me?" She asked. Sunset leaned back. Easy. "I came to you because I need you help. I think six girls, who are completely different and different pony races, are trying to hid a friendship between them. I broke them up today, but.." her voice wandered off. "You want them to stay apart. You want their friendship to be broken. That.. is..." She paused looking for a word. Sunset needed her expertise for this. If she didn't, they would be friends against her rule, and then other will maybe see that she doesn't have as much power as they think she has. She could be over thrown! Whoa, whoa, whoa, calm down, Sunset. "One of the most beautiful and evil plans I've ever heard." Yes. Sunset smiled. "So you want an Alliance?" She asked. "Yes. With my intelligence and your magic." She laughed. "We could be unstoppable!" Her Ally smiled. "We will have a good alliance, Sunset Shimmer." She said leaning forward into the light. Her curly black hair glowed purple in the dying dusk light. A light blue streak raced down her hair. Her purple eyes glowed evilly. "I agree, Starlight Glimmer." she said. Author's Note Did I forget to mention that there are three villainesses, in this? Oops! Four, if you count Dimand Tiara. Chapter 6Rarity mrached down the path, Spike and I trailing behind her. She was muttering things, too. "Stupid Sunset Shimmer! Stupid Fluttershy! Stupid Appledash! Wait, but they're too cute." She muttered. She was like that until we got her Boutique. Then she pushed us both inside and locked the door behind her. Then she looked at me. "Follow me." She said, she walked over to a closet that was in a corner and opened in up. "Down here." She told me pointing down. The closet was covered with clothes. Rarity grabbed a handful of dresses and lifted up to reveal a small hole, no wait, a small tunnel. A tunnel that lead to Celestia knew where. "What? Why?" I asked. She rolled her eyes. "Please, darling, questions later." She said climbing into the tunnel, and went to the side to make room for me. "Come on!" She said waving her hand frantically. "We can't be late!" Spike raced desperate to be next to Rarity. He climbed on her shoulder and shreaked at me until I climbed in the hole. It was a dirt tunnel with flickering lights, Rarity smiled in the dim light. "Where are we going?" I asked. She grabbed a small lantern and looked over her shoulder. "Someplace secret." She replied and began to wat h forward with Spike on her shoulder. I looked around then closed the latch. We walked downwards for a few minutes then it flattened out. I kept glacing at the walls, like I was afraid something was going to pop up and go BOO! We kept walking, then the tunnel became steeper, and finally Rarity stopped. There was a wooden door that story before us. The tunnel was still steep so it was at an awkward angle, because it was straight. "We can build a tunnel for you later." She muttered. A tunnel for me? What was happening? She opened the door and we entered a dark room. Rarity sighed as she closed the door, which I now realize is a bookcase. "Pinkie Pie, we both know it's you." Pinkie was here? Why didn't Rarity sound mad? "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!" Pinkie said. And the lights flickered on, to reveal that we were in the Golden Oak Library? What the heck? The room was covered in Party decorations. And Pinkie was standing in the middle of it. She was wearing the same thing she was wearing earlier, and she didn't look angry. She looked more disappointed. "Is Applejack here yet?" Rarity asked, Applejack? What the heck was happening? Pinkie shook her head. Then another part of the bookcase on the opposite side of the room. Applejack entered, she closed the door and walked over to us. "Were ya followed?" She asked. "Never." Rarity replied. Just then we heard muffled voices from outside. "I can't believe that my dad won't let us move back to Cloudsdale! 'Go study!' he says, it's like he thinks I fail all my classes!" A voice said. I looked at the girls, then seemed to be expecting the voices. I looked at Spike, who was still on Rarity's shoulder. "I have no idea." he told me. Then Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy flew in from the window. Fluttershy closed it then landed. Rainbow carried five school books, she flew over to the table and flopped them down. "Were you followed, Dashie?" Pinkie asked hoping over to her. Rainbow reddened, then she rolled her eyes, annoyed. "First, don't call me Dashie. Second, yeah, we were being followed. I kept complaining the whole way." She said to Pinkie. Want in all of Equestria was happening?! Rarity gasped. "Who?" She asked immediately. Fluttershy giggled. Then spread out her wings. Real majestic like. "It was the Great and Powerful Trixie!" She said, just like Trixie. They all laughed, but Twilight. "More like the Wimp and the Bragger Trixie." Rainbow commented. Rarity looked at her smiling. "Like we never hear about your exploits!" She said. Rainbow blushed and rubbed the back of her head. "Okay, you have a point there." She said. Everyone bursted out laughing. Finally I found my voice. "What? When? Who? How? Why?" I managed. Spike looked at me. "You sound like that game, Twilight." He said. Pinkie giggled. "Like that game." she whispered. Applejack glared at Rarity. "Ya didn't tell her, did ya?" She said. Now it was Rarity's turn to blush. "Well, I didn't want to be late. And I didn't want anyone to hear us. So.....no." she explained. I stepped forward. "I don't care if you forgot or whatever! I just want a straight answer!" I yelled. Rainbow Dash zoomed in and clamped a hand on my mouth. "Shut up, would ya? Do you want our cover to be blown?" She snapped removed her hand. I stared at her. "What is happening, then?" I asked. Rainbow glanced at Pinkie. "I did it last time." She said pointing at Fluttershy. She meeped. "Well uhm, you see. We... Ugh yeah. Understand?" Fluttershy said. Everyone looked at her. "Uhm ok-ay, Rarity?" Rainbow said. Looking at Rarity for a better explanation. She rolled her eyes. "I told Applejack, Pinkie told me, Applejack told you, and you told Fluttershy, we all went. You do it. You explained the least confusing." Rarity said looking at Pinkie. "Whaaaaat?" Pimkie asked. Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She muttered. "Look, Twi. We're the EoH, Elements of Harmony, and Sunset doesn't like that so we made tunnels that connects to were we live. Like A.J's tunnel connects to a cave near Sweet Apple Acers. Rarity's connects to Boutique, duh, Pinkie's......ughm nobody really uses Pinkie's tunnel because she doesn't really allow it. But it's somewhere near Sugarcube Corner. And we have to use them to get here to hang. Get it?" She said. "I get it…" I said my voice trailing off. Rainbow took that as a success. "BOO-YEAH!" She said in a shout-whisper. She pulled back her arm in a fist, like she was locking something into place. "But, why aren't you angry at one another?" I asked. They looked at each other then at me, and began laughing at me! "What's so funny?!" I demanded. "We could never be angry with each other for long. Besides, Rainbow steals my hat all the time." Pinkie began giggling. "What is it Pinkie?" She asked. Pimkie bursted out laughing. Rarity and Fluttershy giggled, and I had to put a hand over my mouth to stop me from laughing. Rainbow had stolen her hat, again. And was mimicking her badly. She was hovering in the air about two to three feet above A.J's head. She was moving her lips and hands whenever Applejack talked. Applejack's hat on her head. Spike was laughing too hard and fell to the ground. Applejack began to glancing around then she saw her. Rainbow was acting like a doofus, her tongue was losely dangling from her mouth, her eyes were crossed, and her arms were close to her chest like a T-Rex. "Hey!" She shouted. She leapt up in the air to grab her hat, but she flew higher. "You'll never catch me like that, Jackie!" She called out the nickname. Applejack smiled. "Ya want to play it like that, Dashie?" She asked. Rainbow's face reddned. She gritted her teeth. "Don't call me Dashie." She growled. Applejack smirked. She hit a sore spot. "Nope." She said angling her feet towards Dash. Rainbow didn't notice. She narrowed her eyes. "Why not- what the?!" She yelped as Applejack launched herself in the arm and grabbed her foot. She pulled her down. She grabbed her hat, then let her go. "Because, I needed to distract ya." She said leaning on her right foot her hands on her hips. She had a smug look on her face. "Whatever." She said landing high on the second floor which was open. Her feet dangled from the ledge. She ignored A.J and began to preen her wings. Rarity gasped. "You preen your feather, Rainbow Dash?!" She asked excitedly. She hoped up and down. Rainbow looked at her. "Once a week." She said. "If you don't it bad for flying." Fluttershy looked confused. "Aren't you meant to preen every other day?" She asked. "Ugh? Back to EoH, please." I reminded them. They looked at me. "She's right." Applejack said. "So how are we gonna get rid of Sunset?" She asked. Pinkie smiled. "That's easy! You just wait till the moon comes out, and no more sun till dawn!" She said smiling. "Silly!" I huffed. "She means Sunset Shimmer. Not the actual Sunset." I said. Rarity stepped forward. Her eyes full of hope. "But... We can't wait till her sunsets, we have something better than the sunset." She said, smirking. Everyone looked at her. "We have the Twilight. Or Twilight Sparkle." I stepped back. Me? Why was I special? "Are you sure, Rarity?" Fluttershy asked. Rarity looked confident. "I am. Want to know why? Because you're looking at the future Fall Formal Princess, and Student Body President!" She squealed. I was so freaked out, that I passed out. Author's Note like I was afraid something was going to pop up and go BOO The first time I wrote this instead of BOO I accidentally wrote BOB! I had too much fun writing this chapter. All of the Appledash and Twilight's awkwardness. I'll try to hurry up with the next one. Chapter 7I woke up by someone splashing ice cold water in my face. It soaked my clothes, hair and face. There were also ice cubes in there too. Which hurt very much when it to the face. "Bawahahaha!" Rainbow Dash laughed as she let the metal bucket, which she was holding, fall to the ground. She was in the air in a small ball, dying of laughter. The other four girls glared at her. I was still laying on the ground my face, hair and shirt all drenched. "Really?" Applejack asked. Rainbow didn't stop laughing. She waved Applejack off, then continued to roll around in the air. "Wah- what happened?" I gurgled on the water, spitting it out and coughing. I didn't remembered why I was unconscious. Or on the floor. "Well, Rarity has this idea that you're going to be Princess of the Fall Formal and Student Body President. You can run for one of them and win, but both and win....." Fluttershy shuttered. Pinkie hugged herself. Rarity looked down, almost embarrassed, almost. "It would be the most hardest thing ever to be done at Ponyville, since well, creatin' Ponyville." Applejack told her. Rainbow finally stopped laughing. She landed and looked at me. "Yeah, only a mad-man would try to do something like that. Or Pinkie." Rainbow Dash looked at Pinkie who was shaking her head like she was trying to shrew it back on. "Or crazier than Pinkie Pie. But...." Rainbow said her voice wavering off. The other girls looked at her. "They may admire your courage, I mean think about. It's a near impossible. You gotta have guts to do it." Rainbow commented. Fluttershy nodded. "I'm pretty sure I would vote for someone with guts like that." She said quietly. But nobody seemed to hear. "And, darlings, if we get a few of the popular kids, like Photo Finish and Trender Hoof, to vote for Twilight. Maybe the other kids will?!" Twilight just sat there on the ground. Watching the 5 agreed on things about her apparently meant-to-be Fall Formal Princess and Student Body President election. "We have to stay with our own kind, Rarity, which is a real bummer-summer. Expect summer is the only time we get to really hang out with our friends. I mean we can play at the beach, have super fun slumber parties, go bowling, and BINGO!" Pinkie said jumping up in the air. "Also we don't have to worry about Sunset Shimmer, her rules are only for the school year! Not summer! Summer is super fun-a-fun! Also there's-" Applejack put her hand over Pinkie's mouth. "Pinkie, could have get back on topic please?" She asked removing her hand. Pinkie blinked. "We were talking about cake right?" She asked. Rainbow Dash faceplamed. Rarity shook her head. Applejack closed her eyes. Fluttershy giggled. "No, we talking about you can only stay with our own kind. Then you went off track, Pinks" Rainbow said. Pinkie smiled. "Oh yeah! So Photo Finish is a Brony, and Trender Hoof is a Unicorn. Who super-doper popular Pegastister!?" Pinkie asked. Her arms dangled from her sides. Rainbow laughed. "Duh! It's obvious! The Wonderbolts!" Rainbow exclaimed shooting back up into the air. The other girls smiled. I stood up and shook myself off. "But I don't want to be Fall Formal Princess or Student Body President." I snapped if I was either, I would have to stay in Ponyville. Spike looked at me from his perch, on Rarity's shoulder. "But, Twilight! We have to stop Sunset Shimmer! We need to restore peace and friendship to Ponyville High!" He pleaed. I stormed over toward the door. "No! No! No!" I shouted. "I don't care about friendship. I don't need friends! All I need right now is to study. You all have been keeping me from it!" I screamed. Fluttershy looked disappointed. "Have we? I'm sorry." She whispered faintly, hiding in her hair. I ingored her. Why should they believe that I am willingly accept that I will do what they say!? I growled. "Come on, Spike!" I spat. Walking out the door. Then having to turn around to walk up the stairs, because our apartment -I forgot- was right above the library. I could feel their confused and unfocused eyes on me. But I didn't care. "Uhm, Twilight? I'm going to have a welcome to Ponyville Party and the Sun Celebration in the library. You know that right?" Pinkie asked as I marched up the stairs. I could almost feel Rainbow Dash looking at her. "Seriously? The library? The Egghead Place?" She asked. I heard Spike giggle. "Yup!" Pinkie replied. "And there's still sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much to do! Could you guys help me?" She asked them. I heard the others agreeing and saying that they'll help, but I wasn't going to go. Spike followed me a few minutes after. I layed in bed, trying to push out the sounds of the endless and loud party that was happening downstairs. I groaned. "Maybe I should run for Fall Formal Princess. I mean, come on, I'm Twilight Sparkle! I've never failed any test! Passed every pop quiz…… then why I'm a doubting about it?" I asked to myself. "It's called stage fright. It happens." I removed my pillow to see Spike staying at the doorway with a lamp on his head and steams pouring out of it like flowers. We walked over to me and sat down on the bed with me. "Come on, Twilight! The Princess said you needed to make friends! And what better way of doing that is running?" He said. Then he jumped off and turned to look at me. "I came up to tell you that Pinkie Pie started pin-the-tail-on-the-pony, and Applejack challenged Rainbow Dash to a hot dog eating contest until they both barf! Wanna come?" He asked. My mouth turn into a sigh of discuss. Spike laughed. Not like his normal laugh, but his awkward laugh. "Okay, I thought so." He said disappointed. He walked and close the door. I looked down maybe I should of went down with Spike. Then I heard the sound of someone hurling. "YES! 37 TO 36! HA! OH NO!" I heard Rainbow screamed, then promptly hurled. "Aw man! I missed it!" Spike said. No thank you. This wasn't for me.
Chapter 1My name is Twilight Sparkle. I just moved here from the big city of Canterlot, and the change... Well I don't like it. In Canterlot there are always big crowds that you can blend into, where people can think you're part of a group of friends just by walking next to them. Here in Ponyville, well everyone is friends with everyone. Ugh. It drives me insane! I don't need friends, I need to study! But will Mayor Celestia allow me too? Nooo. Move to Ponyville! Make some friends! What good does friends do? Oh! And also just when I was about to find out what the elements of harmony are, guess what, Twilight! We're moving! At least our apartment is above a Library! The Golden Oak Library. That's where I'll be spending my day. Well until we move back to Canterlot. But nooo that's too easy, Twilight! Your going to go to Ponyville High School! Whip wee! Make some friends, stop studing! Those are the worst words anyone can put into a sentence. I had friends...ish. Well, they could do magic, and we talked sometimes...for a few minutes. Here I didn't even know if anyone could do magic! There were four types of people in Equestria, Magic-doers, Pegastisters, Bronies, and Alicorns. Pegastisters had wings so they could fly, Magic-doers could do magic, Bronies were normal humans, and Alicorns had all three. They could do magic and fly. I wasn't looking where I was walking and slammed into a girl. I noticed certain details that made me kinda want to run away from her. She had bright pink hair -the unmistakable scent of hairspray no less- crazy bright light blue eyes, she was wearing a charm bracelet -like mine- with three balloons, on it two were blue and one was yellow. Mine was a pink star with five smaller white stars around it. The girl was a brony, she didn't have wings or a magic aura. She wore a light pink skrit and a small darker pink vest. Her skirt also had her three balloons on it. She looked like a year or so older than me because she was an inch or two taller than me. I looked down at what I was wearing. I was also wearing a skirt -Ponyvillie High requirement- but it was purple not pink, and a vest, mine was darker shade of purple. Also on my skirt was my star. Make some friends. Celestia's voice rang though my mind. "Ugh... Hi?" I said. I bushed one of dark brown/purple hairs out of my face. I had straight dark brown/purple hair with a lighter brown streak and a hot pink streak. The girl blinked and said nothing for a moment, then gasped so loud that I thought you could hear it in Canterlot. Then she ran off. "Well that was interesting." I said out loud. "Just ignore her. She's always like that." A country accent voice said behind me. I spun around and saw a blonde hair girl with her hair in a ponytail. She was a brony too. She wore a light brown skirt with three red apples, a orange vest, a cowboy hat, and a charm bracelet, which had three red apples. She had calm green eyes and freckles all over face. She was a few inches taller than me, too. "I'm Applejack, and y'all are..." She said stretching out a hand. I shook it. "Twilight Sparkle." I told her. She smiled. She had a bag slung over her shoulder. "Good. I'm supposed to show ya around." She said. Applejack walked in front of me and looked over shoulder. "Come on, Twilight." She called. We walked in silence for a few minutes until a dark shadow looked over our heads. I looked up and saw a Pegastister with light blue wings, soaring towards me with incredible speed. Applejack saw the Pegastister too. "Oh, Great Celestia." She said. She pushed me out of the way as the Pegastister swooped in. I heard someone laughing like it amused them. When the Pegastister swooped in I could tell it was a girl. I also caught a glimpse of rainbow hair? Weird. Mud soaked the spot where I was standing a moment before. The rainbow girl flew away laughing. I looked at Applejack, she looked angry. "Uhm. Who was that?" I asked. Applejack clenched her hands. Her breathing became shallow. "RAINBOW!" She screamed. The rainbow girl dropped in front of us. With a flash of magic her baby blue wings vanished. She wore black running shorts, a blue vest, and a charm bracelet. On both her vest and her charm bracelet was a red, blue, and yellow lightning bolt. She had long rainbow hair in a ponytail, and magenta eyes. I could tell she had powerful muscles underneath her skin. She also had kinda a I'm-so-good-you-can't-beat-me-just-try look in her eyes, which would of made her intimidating.....but she was like a foot shorter than me. Applejack could beat her up easily. Applejack tapped her foot on the ground. She had an evil look in her eye. The Rainbow Girl didn't notice, she kept smiling like nothing was wrong. "Hey! It's A-jack!" She said. Rainbow Girl had a raspy voice. Which matched her style. "What up?" She asked. Applejack kept tapping her foot. "What in all of Equestria was that, Rainbow Dash!?" She screamed. Well the rainbow hair makes sense now. Rainbow rolled her eyes. "It's awesome!" She complained. From the way she used the awesome she must of used it a lot. "You dive in. Then you land! You can't say you lived until you're...." She paused of a second. As of thinking. "15,000 feet off the ground." She said smiling. Then she narrowed her eyes. She smiled widened. "Here let me show you." She said grabbing Applejack by the wrist and started flying into the sky, her wings out. I didn't expect Rainbow to be that strong, despite her size. "RAINBOW DASH!!!!!" Applejack screamed. I rasied an eyebrow as Rainbow and Applejack flew off. Rainbow Dash laughing as Applejack struggled and cursed. "What the-" I said. "Oh, no. What did Rainbow do this time?" A voice came from behind me. How many people are behind me? I mean come on. So, I turned and saw a Magic-doer girl with brown curly hair that in the sunlight looked purple. She wore a white vest, a long purple skirt, and of course a charm bracelet. Her symbol was three blue diamonds. I should explain the symbols. So, when we are small we don't have a symbol. But if we do something that is so important to us, well a mark appears on our hips, and to show you aren't a blank-flank you wear your symbol. "Uhm. The Rainbow Girl grabbed uhm, Applejack and started to fly away." I said. And Applejack was my guide. Oh well. "Oh, dearie. That's Rainbow Dash if your wondering. Smaller than a Shetland pony, but stronger than a horse." She said sighing looking up at the sky. She looked at me. "I'm Rarity and- you-hoo-hoo! What happened to you hair?!" She gasped. I noticed that my hair was a mess. Courtesy of Rainbow Dash no less. "Oh, it's nothing. I better get to school don't want to be late. I'll be out of your hair." Rarity's mouth opened and closed. Then she straighten her vest. "My hair?! What about your hair?! It's a mess, darling!" She said grabbing me by the wrist and walking towards the school. When we got there she shoved me in the nearest girls bathroom and started to look threw her bag. Until finally she found a white dress. I rasied an eyebrow. "Uhm. I don't need that, but thanks." I said trying to slip out. Rarity used her magic to close the door. I turned to look at her. She had a pouty look on her face. "At least let me comb out your hair?" She whimpered. I rolled my eyes. "Fine." I said threw my gritted teeth. Rarity clapped happily. Around twenty minutes Rarity finally let me go! Just then Applejack ran out from around the corner, she had a smile on her face. Rainbow flew from around the same corner laughing. Applejack looked like she ran a mile. Rainbow looked the same. But they both had a smile on their faces. Applejack stopped in front of me and put her hands on her knees and took deep breaths. Rainbow landed, putting her wings away. Applejack glared at her. "Hey, Newbie! You should of seen A-jack when we reached 10,000 feet! She was all like 'ahh!'" she said mimicking Applejack. I rasied an eyebrow, I was doing that a lot today. Applejack looked at me. "Then she dropped me at 13,000 feet." Applejack snapped. Rainbow looked like she couldn't contain her laughter. "You... You... You should of seen her face! " She managed to get out. Applejack kept glaring. "And then-" she began. "And then I caught her and put her down at Ponyville Park!" Rainbow said rolling her hand like it was nothing. Applejack wasn't satisfied. "All the way across town." She commented. Rainbow launched herself back in the air. Still laughing. "What in all of Equestria is this?!" A Magic-doer girl with red hair with blonde highlights said. Her blueish green eyes were so intense that Rainbow Dash landed. Which I had a feeling she doesn't take lightly. She wore a blood red vest, light orange skirt, and a charm bracelet, it was a sun with a Ying and Yang in the center. "Well, Sunset. We were just-" Applejack tried to explain, but Sunset stomped her foot, Applejack flinched and stopped taking. Sunset stepped forward getting in her face. "I said no friendship between different pony races." Applejack looked away. Rainbow looked down. I looked between them all. I stepped forward. I couldn't let her have power over them. Besides why should they listen to her? "And why should they listen to you?" I snapped. She turned her glaze at me. Rainbow and Applejack looked at me. "Because I'm their Student Body President, Sunset Shimmer!" She said. She took a step towards me, I could smell her breath. It smelled of mint toothpaste. "And I declared that no one, no one! Will cross paths in friendship!" She snapped. She turned her eyes to Rainbow. "Why don't you find your shy friend. What's her name? Oh! Fluttershy!" She slammed her foot down making Rainbow flinched. "NOW!" Sunset yelled at her. Rainbow Dash flew off. Applejack looked at her as she flew away. Was that a wisp of sadness in her eyes? Just today I saw them fighting and laughing together. I was so clueless, were they rivals or best friends? I didn't know. She turned on Applejack. "Now, now little hayseed. Go find your pink whatever friend." She said rolling her eyes. Applejack looked at her. "I can't, Sunset. I have to show Twilight Sparkle here around." She said darting her eyes around. Sunset sighed and straighten her vest and smoothed her skirt. "Fine. Today only. But after today, if I see you with her! You know the consequences, little hayseed!" She said walking off. Applejack sighed and looked at Twilight. "Come on Twi, I'll show y'all around." She said walking away. I had to jog after to catch up. What was wrong with this school?
Chapter 2"Who was that?" I asked Applejack. Applejack looked down. "I'm supposed to show y'all to yer classes, not make small talk." She murmured softly. I rasied an eyebrow. "Why do you follow her?" I persisted. Applejack didn't say anything. We walked in silence for a few minutes. Until we came to the courtyard just in front of the school. Applejack looked over her shoulder at the doors of the school. I looked back wall and saw Sunset walking way. Was she following us? Why in all of Equestria would she do that? "To answer your first question, that was Sunset Shimmer, Student Body President. After our last President graduated, Sunset was super nice and ran. So naturally everyone voted for her. Big mistake. After she got elected, she showed us her true colors." Applejack said quickly. She kept on turning her head to make sure no one else heard her, but why? "Why did you revote for her?" I asked. Applejack looked at me. Her eyes full of sorrow. "Because she knows secrets. Her and her sister, Diamond Tiara, can both sniff out secrets and exploit them to the whole world with one flick of a finger. And while Sunset rules High School, her sister rules the Middle School. Making everyone miserable." She said. I looked down. That's why they were afraid of her. What secrets does she even know? "Why do she hate different ponies hanging out together?" I asked, but, Applejack shook her head . "Nobody knows. And if we don't follow her, we can be kicked out of school." My, eyes grew wide. I rubbed my hand on my other arm. "Why would she hate friendship that much?" Crap! I said that one out loud! Applejack shrugged. "No one knows. All we know is, if we have friends that aren't our race, we have to be off school grounds to hang out." She sighed. "Some friendships just broke, like Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon. They stayed in touch after a while, but then Lyra found new Unicorn friends and left Bon Bon." She looked into the distance. "So do you have any Unicorn or Pegastister friends?" I asked. Applejack looked at me then clamped a hand on my mouth. She glanced around, but there was no one there. Why was she so nervous? "I'm not really meant to have Unicorn or Pegastister friends." She said removing her hand. It strangely smelled like apples. "What about Rainbow Dash?" I asked. If she said 'We aren't friends,' I'll know she's lying. Applejack turned red. She bit her lip and again looked around. "She's my best friend. She helps me out on the farm sometimes, and other times.... She crashes into me." Applejack said. Best friend? But they agured like little school girls. "She an athlete, and I'm the only one who can keep up with her. If I don't drain her out.... Let's say she would find another outlet. A bad outlet for her energy." A bad outlet? Ohh... Oh. How often did Rainbow get in trouble as a kid? "So you hang out with her after school." Applejack looked at me. Dead in the eye. "Can I trust ya to keep a secret?" She asked. I tore my eyes away, thinking. I thought about it for a moment, she could trust me. That's a fact, but how can I trust her? I lingered on the thought for a moment then replied. "Yes. You can trust me." I told her. She smiled. "A few kids and I believe that Sunset Shimmer needs her rain of power to end. We're called the EoH." She said. My eyebrows borrowed together. "EoH?" I asked. What does EoH mean? Does it stand for something, or is it just catchy? "Elements of Harmony. EoH." She explained. I perked up a bit. Maybe they have some more information about the Elements of Harmony, that I could learn. "We don't really know what the Elements of Harmony exactly do, but we know they're powerful. And that's what we want to become, powerful enough to overthrow Sunset." Oh, dang it! They don't know. I was about to ask another question when a loud bell rang. I looked up in surprise. "Come on, Twilight. That's the warning bell to get to class, and yours is all the way across campus! You'll have some of members of the EoH in your classes. First period..." She paused looking at the name and room on the tiny piece of paper. "Well ya have Rainbow in frist, Second-" "Applejack! Did you show the Newbie her classes?" Applejack and I looked up to see Sunset Shimmer standing over us like a vulture. But she wasn't alone this time. A Unicorn girl with light blue highlights mixed in with her fine blonde hair. Her vest was a dark blue and her skirt was a light turquoise. Her charm bracelet had a wand with gittler all around it. She had a scowl on her face and disapproving look in her eyes, so did Sunset. Applejack lowered the paper. "Yeah, but-" she began. "I said you can show her around! And you did! So go!" She said flickering her hands at her like she shooing off an annoying fly. Her follower flicked her hand at her, too. "Hum! Go now! The Great and Powerful Trixie doesn't want to be seen with a lowlife brony like you." Trixie said. I fought the urge to stand up to Trixie and defend Applejack. But I pushed down that feeling. Applejack sighed and handed me the paper. "Bye, Twilight Sparkle." She said walking off. Why didn't she call be Twi, or Twilight. Wait, if she said my nickname Sunset would of known we were.... Ugh....becoming friends. Sunset and Trixie watched as she jogged off. Then they turned their eyes on me. I suddenly became very nervous. "I better get going, bye!" I said running off. Chapter 3I ran all the way to room 23. Mr. Discord, math. Applejack told me earlier that there were some.... Odd rumors about him. Like him being absolutely mad, chaotic, nuts, crazy; take your pick. Applejack didn't have any of his classes so she only guessed. But Rainbow told her that he was insane. When I got to room 23, Rainbow was already there. Hovering over the doorway looking around like she was looking for someone. When she saw Twilight she smiled but didn't touch back down. She continued to search. When Twilight walked over Rainbow was muttering something. " She's late, but she's never late. Isn't this her favorite class?" she muttered. She must of brought a change of clothes because now she was wearing dark blue skrit with a stripe of rainbow on one corner. "Who's late?" I asked waking underneath her. Rainbow glanced down. Then back up, sighed and landed. "Fluttershy, my friend from Cloudsdale Elementary, and Middle." She replied. Cloudsdale was city in the clouds, on Pegastisters could stand on clouds, -unless you have a cloud-walking spell, oh! I need to learn that!- so it was only Pegastisters. "She's never late. Mr. Discord won't be too happy if she's late, I can handle him, but I don't think Flutters...." Her voice drifted off. "Why? Does Mr. Discord not like ponies being tardy?" I asked. Rainbow smiled. "You just let Dash handle that." She rose in the air again. I remembered what Applejack said about her being a athlete, she was always running or flying. She stretched out her arms. "Well, if you see Flutters, tell her I'm doing a few laps before class." I looked at her. We only had two minutes to get to class and she was going to do laps? She must of noticed my expression. Because she laughed. "Don't worry, Rainbow Danger Dash, is alway late. Besides I can make it there in..." She paused confused for a second. Then she shrugged. "Bah, time doesn't matter, speed does. Later!" She called and she flew off, causing dust to fly. 'Okay Rainbow Dash's middle name is Danger. " Don't believe her, no one knows her middle name. Once she said it was professionalism, another Jennifer, just last week she said it was Daring. Everyone is confused. I think she likes it that way." said a quiet voice. I turned and was a strawberry blonde Pegastister girl with a light yellow vest, light pink skrit and a charm bracelet with three pink butterflies. This must be Fluttershy. I thought. "Hi, I'm Twilight Sparkle. And you are..." I said even though I knew name, I thought it would make me sound like a stalker. Her turquoise eyes were the same color as Sunset Shimmer's which would of scared me if she had been angry or mad. But she was calm, she wasn't mad or angry, in fact she seemed like she didn't really want to talk to me. She had a quiet voice, and her hair that covered one of her eyes, most likely so she didn't have to make eye contact, that's actually a pretty good idea. She froze in place, her eyes -or eye- shown in fear. It's.... Fluttershy." She murmured. I stared at her. Did she say Fluttershy? I couldn't tell, or hear. "What was that?" I asked. She shrinked back down. She was really nervous. "Uhm....it's.... Fluttershy." she said even more quiet. I smiled awkwardly. Just then Rainbow returned snickering. She landed in front of us. "Okay, okay, okay. I got bored during lap three so I decided...." She cut off because she was still laughing. "To....prank..... Principle Mare!" Fluttershy looked up at her in alarm. "Rainbow, I-don't-know-your-middle-name, Dash!" She scolded her. She put her hands to her hips. Rainbow wasn't affected. She smiled at Fluttershy. "And you'll never know, Flutters!" She said launching herself back in the air. Fluttershy flew up also, she had light yellow wings. They didn't look as strong as Rainbow's, it looked like they could hardly lift her up. "If you prank Principal Mare, you're going to get expelled!" She said. Rainbow stopped laughing, maybe she knew what it meant to be expelled. But she looked more confused that ashamed. "I didn't prank Principal Mare, that would just me stupid! I pranked Pinkie. I said Principal Mare, because someone else pranked her this morning and I couldn't stop laughing. Oh! Oh! Oh! Here Pinkie comes!" She said landing biting her lip. The girl from earlier today walked up to her, which was covered in pink everything, and opened it up. Immediately she was buried under fifty whipped cream cans. Rainbow laughed so hard. Fluttershy signed and landed. I was about to walk over to see if she was hurt, but her head popped up in the middle of the whipped cream avalanche. "Wow, Dashie! You got me good!" She commented grabbing a random whipped cream can and spraying it in her mouth and eating it. "Howph youh do ith?" She asked her mouth still full of whip cream. Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Your locker is right next to mine it was easy." She bragged walking over to hers. She opened it. "See-WHOA!" And soon she was hidden underneath twenty pounds worth of sports equipment. Her head popped up she was laughing. "Okay, Pinks. You got me!" Pinkie walked over to her, or bounced over, and helped her up. Then Pinkie noticed me. She was in the middle of helping Rainbow up, so when Pinkie walked over to me, she fell back down into the sport equipment. "Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie! I saw you earlier, remember?! And well I couldn't talk to you cause I had to prank Dashie and then I had finish my Science homework. Then I had to work on a surprise, then I wanted to see what my sister Maud was doing. And well when I looked at you I remembered that I had to do all of those things! Wait! I forgot about Gummy!?!" She said. I didn't understand half of what she had said, and to be honest I didn't really care. I realized something. Rainbow was a trouble maker, Rarity was a diva, Applejack was a work-freak, Fluttershy was too why for her own good, and Pinkie could even remember to do her homework. These girls were just too....too....odd. They had too many flaws. "Well I better be going to class." I said. Rainbow, who survived the sports equipment, stood by the doorway. She sighed. "I better come too. One more tardy and Principal Mare would make me live in detention." She said flying into the room. "Hummm me too." she said walking in. I looked at Pinkie who was trying to stuff all the whipped cream cans in her backpack. She was taking out random things too. Like a book about rubber chickens, a microphone, a random stuffed animal. After a while she looked up at me and pulled out a rubber alligator. But then it blinked. "'Ahh!" I said. Pinkie laughed. "Silly! This is my pet alligator Gummy! He doesn't have any teeth so he's harmless! Don't be afraid!" She said stroking her pet. The bell rang again. And Pinkie stuffed Gummy along with five more cans into her bag and bounced off. I stared as she bounced off. Then I shock my head and walked into class. 'Make some friends!' Celestia's voice said again. No thanks, the people in this town where crazy!!!!! Author's Note Wow! Chapter 4Second period I had Rarity and Pinkie, third Fluttershy and Applejack, fourth I had all of them, fifth Rainbow, Pinkie, and Applejack, sixth Rarity, Pinkie, and Rainbow. It. Was. Exhausting. Having them all day long. Ugh! They also wanted me to be their friend. I know that Celestia wanted me to make friends, but these people where nuts, crazy, off their rocker. But Rainbow was right, Mr. Discord was insane. He got upset at Treehugger be a she tried to sit next to Fluttershy even though she's a brony. He was so nuts that he jumped out the window and flew away on his bat and brid wings after that. I started walking away form school when... "Pssst!" I looked around. No one was there. So I kept waking. "Pssst!" I looked around again. All that was there was dirt road, a few houses every here and there, and a few bushes. I heard someone angrily groan. "Oh my Celestia!" Some quietly cursed. Someone was behind the bush? "Shh! Rainbow!" Applejack said. I heard another groan. Rainbow popped up out of the bush. "Over here, Twi." She said flying towards the bush. Applejack stood up. "Really?" She said. She and Rainbow had changed clothes. Applejack was wearing a plain white button up t-shirt, and jean shorts. Along with her cowboy -or cowgirl- hat and boots. Rainbow looked like she was going for a jog. She wore a Extra-Small blue running jacket over a white T-shirt. Also size Extra-Small. She wore her running shorts, rainbow socks, and running shoes. Rainbow smiled. "It got too boring for my taste. Besides we were following her for two blocks, and nothing!" She said. I looked at Applejack. She blushed at me. Then turned on Rainbow. "She wasn't supposed to know that! Now she thinks we're stalkers!" She said. Rainbow swooped down and landed to get in her face. She narrowed her eyes. She rasied her hand to forhead pulled a zipper down her face all the way down her body to reveal... Pinkie? Standing...in...a.... Rainbow Dash suite? Okay I was right these people are crazy. But Applejack looked as surprised as me. "Wha?" She began, but she didn't finish her sentence. "And what's wrong with being a stalker?! I stalk Dashie all the time! I also put a tracking device in her Cupcake once! I know exactly where she is!" She said. Applejack said nothing. Which was probably a good thing. Pinkie was wearing a bright neon pink shirt with the words 'Lets PARTY!!!' in a darker pink with gittler all around it, and a light magenta skirt with three ballons on. My eyebrows burrowed together. "Why didn't you stop her from pranking you then?" I asked. She turned on me. I had a sudden urge to run away as fast as I could. "Because! Being pranked is fun! And Dashie and I love to prank each other! Like the time she put whip cream in my P.E shoes. Or or or the time she changed my hair spray out for whip cream! Then she did it again with silly string! Then she made a life size me made out of pure cake! And the time she traded out my earrings out for candy corn. One time she filled the entire locker room with jello! Ha! We had to eat or way to our lockers! Man! That was good jello! Another time she took Gummy and replaced him with a crocodile!" She giggled. "Oh and the best prank ever in the history of pranks! She hid in my closet and when I opened it she went BOO!" she fell to he grown laughing. I didn't understand at all what she said. Just then her phone made a small beeping noise in a catchy ring tone. She stopped laughing long enough to pull out her phone and check it. "Oh! Dashie is only a block away!" She said. Define physics she somehow got up with her hand at her side and not bending her knees at all. Then she began to hop away. I blinked and looked at Applejack. "I got no idea." She replied. Just then Dash did a other fly by and landed; Thor style. One fist to the ground, wings extended, another hand at her side. The dirt flinched when she pounded her fist into the ground. Fluttershy who was following her landed too. Not as dramatic as Rainbow's landing though. Dash got up and walked over to Pinkie, who was standing with her mouth open. Rainbow was wearing the same thing as Pinkie's Rainbow Suite. Accept the real Rainbow wore black leather gloves that revealed her back knuckles and fingers. "Wow, Dashie! That was awesome!" Pinkie said jumping up and down. Rainbow smiled, I could tell she like the praise. "Ha! Not so stupid now, Applejack?! Heh?" She said turning to Applejack. A.J rolled her eyes. Then Rainbow saw me, her smile faded. She looked angry. She stomped her foot in frustration. "Oh Sweet Celestia! She came!" She said. Applejack smirked and walked over to her. "Ha! Now come on! Y'all said twenty bucks and ah box of fruit roll ups. So pay up." She said pitting her hand on her hips. What were they talking about? Rainbow dug threw her pocket and gave Applejack twenty bucks. She rolled her eyes. "I'll get your box tomorrow. K?" She said rolling her eyes. Applejack looked smug. "What?" I said. Then I realized that I could of escaped when they weren't paying attention to me. Oh Sweet Celestia! I blew it! Applejack looked at me. "Rainbow Dash was for sure that you wouldn't come." She told me. Okay, Rainbow Dash thought I wouldn't come so she and Applejack made a bet and Rainbow lost. Makes sense. Rainbow huffed. "Okay so what am I doing here?" I asked. They looked at each other. "Not until Rarity arrives." Fluttershy said. I sighed. More time making friends than studing. Yay. After a while I heard barking. I walked out of the bush and saw Spike. Spike was my assistant dragon. Unlike most dragons -that I have little to nothing knowledge about-face Spike didn't have wings. He ran on four legs, he was the size of a large Chihuahua. He was purple with green spikes. I had to put a collar on him because once he almost ran away. His collar was a dark purple with white spikes on it. He could also breath fire, and when he was a baby you needed fireproof everything everything! But he could also send scrolls to Mayor Celestia. Okay, back to Spike. He was running along the dirt path barking, roaring, and growling all at the same time. Most likely looking for me. He didn't talk either. But sometimes i wish he could. "Spike!" I said jumping out of the bush and into the the pathway. Spike stopped his rampage and flew into my arms. "Twilight! There was this girl and she hit me with a blast of magic! I didn't really know what to do. Because you said you would be back in six hours, fourty eight minutes, and seventeen seconds! And after six hours, fourty eight minutes, and twenty six seconds I got worried!" He said. I stared at him. He was talking. "Uhm.. Spike? I think I know what that spell did." Spike stared at me. "Really what?" He said chocking his head to the side. I did a mental faceplam. "You are talking to me." I said. He kept staring. I waited then I noticed he wasn't staring at me, but behind me. I turned around and Spike immediately turned too. I saw Rarity in a simple long white dress that flowed in the wind. Her hair was in a French braid. The way Spike stared at her I knew he liked her. "Beautiful..." He whispered. I said smiled. "Beautiful indeed." I said. Author's Note Just then Dash did a other fly by and landed; Thor style. One of my favorite lines I got to write. Along with... Chapter 5"Twilight! Back in the bush!" Rainbow said grabbing my hand and shoving me back in. I landed on my back with Rainbow Dash staring at me, unimpressed. "Wow." She commented. Applejack jabbed her in the stomach. Rainbow squeaked. Then glared at her. Just then Spike crawled up my arm. "Hi! I'm Spike!" He said. Rainbow and Applejack looked Dumbfoundead, Pinkie looked fascinated, and Fluttershy looked so excited she looked like she could explode. "Oh! My!!! A baby dragon!" She said grabbing Spike and swinging him around in the air. "This is so amazing, I mean a talking dragon!" She squealed. Rainbow got over her shock, looked at Applejack and promptly shoved her to the ground. Applejack looked at Rainbow who was laughing. "That's it, Shortie! Your getin' it!" She said jumping up trying to grab Dash. But she jumped into the air and hovered there out of Applejack's reach. As Applejack jumped Rainbow somehow managed to grab her hat. "Hey?!" Applejack yelped as Rainbow put it on her own head. "Give it back!" She said jumping up again. Rainbow stuck out a tongue at her. "Hummm. No." She said. Applejack chased after her. "Darlings! You're going to get us caught!" Rarity said slipping delicately threw the bush. While Rainbow was distracted, Applejack managed to grab her leg and pull her down. And before Dash could react, Applejack flipped her on her stomach and sat on her back. Not letting her go. "Applejack?! What the huh?!" She said, flinging her hands around. Applejack grabbed her hat. "Thanks, Sugarcube!" She said. Rainbow growled. "Applejack....let me up....or I'LL DO TO YOU WHAT I DID TO FLOWERS GLOW!!!!!" she screamed. Applejack looked down at her. Fluttershy out her hands to her mouth. "Applejack! She put Flowers Glow in the hospital!" She hissed. Applejack huffed. Pinkie looked like the verge of laughing. And Rarity's eyes glowed, like she was off in her own world. "Pfft! Really? This Shortie?" She asked. Rainbow's eyes grew big. Her breathing became shallow. "Did you?" Rainbow asked. Fluttershy looked even more scared. "No she didn't! Please stop!" She pleaed. "Just.... insult my size?" She asked. Applejack glared down. Then stretched out still on top of her. She yawned. Rarity gasped, her smile -for no reason- widened. "Yeah, why? Did you think I believe someone your size could put someone in the hospital? I mean yer a mini!" She said smiling. Rainbow's shoulders relaxed. "Applejack can you let me up?" She asked her voice steadily clam. Applejack shrugged. "What the hay." She said getting up. Rainbow scrapped to her feet. She puffed out her wings. Her outfit was a bit dirty from her time on the ground. But other than that she seemed fine. "Mini?" She asked. Getting in Applejack's face. "Half-pint." She replied with a smug look on her face, stepping closer. Rarity squealed. Fluttershy walked over to her, and soon, two conversation were happening and I only caught glimpse of each. "Why did you squealed?" Fluttershy asked. Rarity clapped her hands together. "Isn't Appledash just soooo cute?!" She said as Applejack and Rainbow continued to agure. With Pinkie rolling around on the ground, laughing. "Shortie!" "Hayseed!" "Pony!" "Horse!" "They aren't in love Rarity! Can't you see them aguring?" Fluttershy said. "Well, they fight like a married old couple! And Appledash-" "Ya can't even get my face, yer so short!" "Lair!" "There is no Appledash!" "There is!" "Not!" "Stupid cowgirl!" "Dumb City-slider!" "Well, well well? What do we have here?" a new voice asked, and Sunset Shimmer walked threw the bush. Only to find Applejack and Rainbow lost in a agurement, and Rarity and Fluttershy staring angrily at each other -Fluttershy's wings puffed out-, with Pinkie rolling around on the ground. Sunset glanced at the scene, and knew immediately what was happening. Sunset sighed. "This is why, crossing pony races, are a bad thing." She said with fake sympathy. "I mean, Rainbow could of never stolen Applejack's hat if she was a Brony, and Rainbow would of had a real chase!" She looked down, as if she was lost in thought, but I could tell she had rehearsed this. "And... I will have to ask you to..... Never, ever.....see one another,....ever again!" She looked like she had tears in her eyes, like she was too upset to continue. But the look in her eyes, and the evil smile on her face, said otherwise. "Fine by me!" Rainbow snapped. What?! I thought Applejack said that she was her best friend, she must breaking- "I don't even want to talk to another Pegastister, or Unicorn FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!" Applejack yelled. The other girls turned there backs on one another. "Me too!" They all said together, all but Rarity. What was happening to the EoH? Weren't they all friends? "Come on, Flutters! I don't even know why my dad wanted to move here, anymore. Let's go convince our parents to move back to Cloudsdale, were there are some civilized ponies!" Rainbow said, grabbing Fluttershy by the wrist and flying off. "You are a bunch of losers! And Rarity?" Fluttershy said. Rarity looked up. "There. Will. Never. Be. Appledash." She said. Then flew faster to catch Dash. "Huff! You may of broke Fluttershy and Dash! But you wouldn't ever break me!" Rarity said folding her arms together. Sunset smiled. "Your friends never cared about your ships. To them, it was just a silly way of releasing romantic side. No one understood you. Did any of them, try to help you with you fashion shop? No! They think fashion is silly too." Sunset had a way with words. Because Rarity was red with anger. "Let's go, Pinkie! The stupidity of these Unicorns is sinkn' up the place." Applejack said walking away. Pinkie bounced after her. "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid stupid stupid! Stupid Unicorns!" Pinkie said in a sing song voice. Applejack laughed. Pinkie smiled. "I love to see my real friend smile!" She said. Rarity stomped her foot to the ground. "And that is the last straw!" She said. "Come on Twilight! Let's go to my Boutique to get away from these Ruffians! Humf!" She said walking off. Spike hoovering in the air then with tail -like a little helicopter- floated towards Rarity. Following her down the path. I looked at Sunset. She rasied an eyebrow. "Now you know were your new, and true friends lie." She said then she flicked her hand like she did earlier to Applejack. "So go on." She said. Then I looked back at Rarity and Spike, there were nearly out of sight. I couldn't let Spike just run off like that. It's almost his bedtime! So I made my decision and raced after them. Sunset sat in a bland chair, in fact eveything in this house was bland. Nothing stood out. Everything was the same. "So, I have questions for you." the girl across the table said. her voice was clear and bold, she was obviously a leader, from the way she said her words. "Are you ready?" She asked. "Yes." Sunset said leaning forward. The darkness in the room didn't allow Sunset to see her company's face. But she could tell she smiled. " Why have you come to me?" She asked. Sunset leaned back. Easy. "I came to you because I need you help. I think six girls, who are completely different and different pony races, are trying to hid a friendship between them. I broke them up today, but.." her voice wandered off. "You want them to stay apart. You want their friendship to be broken. That.. is..." She paused looking for a word. Sunset needed her expertise for this. If she didn't, they would be friends against her rule, and then other will maybe see that she doesn't have as much power as they think she has. She could be over thrown! Whoa, whoa, whoa, calm down, Sunset. "One of the most beautiful and evil plans I've ever heard." Yes. Sunset smiled. "So you want an Alliance?" She asked. "Yes. With my intelligence and your magic." She laughed. "We could be unstoppable!" Her Ally smiled. "We will have a good alliance, Sunset Shimmer." She said leaning forward into the light. Her curly black hair glowed purple in the dying dusk light. A light blue streak raced down her hair. Her purple eyes glowed evilly. "I agree, Starlight Glimmer." she said. Author's Note Did I forget to mention that there are three villainesses, in this? Oops! Four, if you count Dimand Tiara.
Chapter 6Rarity mrached down the path, Spike and I trailing behind her. She was muttering things, too. "Stupid Sunset Shimmer! Stupid Fluttershy! Stupid Appledash! Wait, but they're too cute." She muttered. She was like that until we got her Boutique. Then she pushed us both inside and locked the door behind her. Then she looked at me. "Follow me." She said, she walked over to a closet that was in a corner and opened in up. "Down here." She told me pointing down. The closet was covered with clothes. Rarity grabbed a handful of dresses and lifted up to reveal a small hole, no wait, a small tunnel. A tunnel that lead to Celestia knew where. "What? Why?" I asked. She rolled her eyes. "Please, darling, questions later." She said climbing into the tunnel, and went to the side to make room for me. "Come on!" She said waving her hand frantically. "We can't be late!" Spike raced desperate to be next to Rarity. He climbed on her shoulder and shreaked at me until I climbed in the hole. It was a dirt tunnel with flickering lights, Rarity smiled in the dim light. "Where are we going?" I asked. She grabbed a small lantern and looked over her shoulder. "Someplace secret." She replied and began to wat h forward with Spike on her shoulder. I looked around then closed the latch. We walked downwards for a few minutes then it flattened out. I kept glacing at the walls, like I was afraid something was going to pop up and go BOO! We kept walking, then the tunnel became steeper, and finally Rarity stopped. There was a wooden door that story before us. The tunnel was still steep so it was at an awkward angle, because it was straight. "We can build a tunnel for you later." She muttered. A tunnel for me? What was happening? She opened the door and we entered a dark room. Rarity sighed as she closed the door, which I now realize is a bookcase. "Pinkie Pie, we both know it's you." Pinkie was here? Why didn't Rarity sound mad? "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!" Pinkie said. And the lights flickered on, to reveal that we were in the Golden Oak Library? What the heck? The room was covered in Party decorations. And Pinkie was standing in the middle of it. She was wearing the same thing she was wearing earlier, and she didn't look angry. She looked more disappointed. "Is Applejack here yet?" Rarity asked, Applejack? What the heck was happening? Pinkie shook her head. Then another part of the bookcase on the opposite side of the room. Applejack entered, she closed the door and walked over to us. "Were ya followed?" She asked. "Never." Rarity replied. Just then we heard muffled voices from outside. "I can't believe that my dad won't let us move back to Cloudsdale! 'Go study!' he says, it's like he thinks I fail all my classes!" A voice said. I looked at the girls, then seemed to be expecting the voices. I looked at Spike, who was still on Rarity's shoulder. "I have no idea." he told me. Then Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy flew in from the window. Fluttershy closed it then landed. Rainbow carried five school books, she flew over to the table and flopped them down. "Were you followed, Dashie?" Pinkie asked hoping over to her. Rainbow reddened, then she rolled her eyes, annoyed. "First, don't call me Dashie. Second, yeah, we were being followed. I kept complaining the whole way." She said to Pinkie. Want in all of Equestria was happening?! Rarity gasped. "Who?" She asked immediately. Fluttershy giggled. Then spread out her wings. Real majestic like. "It was the Great and Powerful Trixie!" She said, just like Trixie. They all laughed, but Twilight. "More like the Wimp and the Bragger Trixie." Rainbow commented. Rarity looked at her smiling. "Like we never hear about your exploits!" She said. Rainbow blushed and rubbed the back of her head. "Okay, you have a point there." She said. Everyone bursted out laughing. Finally I found my voice. "What? When? Who? How? Why?" I managed. Spike looked at me. "You sound like that game, Twilight." He said. Pinkie giggled. "Like that game." she whispered. Applejack glared at Rarity. "Ya didn't tell her, did ya?" She said. Now it was Rarity's turn to blush. "Well, I didn't want to be late. And I didn't want anyone to hear us. So.....no." she explained. I stepped forward. "I don't care if you forgot or whatever! I just want a straight answer!" I yelled. Rainbow Dash zoomed in and clamped a hand on my mouth. "Shut up, would ya? Do you want our cover to be blown?" She snapped removed her hand. I stared at her. "What is happening, then?" I asked. Rainbow glanced at Pinkie. "I did it last time." She said pointing at Fluttershy. She meeped. "Well uhm, you see. We... Ugh yeah. Understand?" Fluttershy said. Everyone looked at her. "Uhm ok-ay, Rarity?" Rainbow said. Looking at Rarity for a better explanation. She rolled her eyes. "I told Applejack, Pinkie told me, Applejack told you, and you told Fluttershy, we all went. You do it. You explained the least confusing." Rarity said looking at Pinkie. "Whaaaaat?" Pimkie asked. Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She muttered. "Look, Twi. We're the EoH, Elements of Harmony, and Sunset doesn't like that so we made tunnels that connects to were we live. Like A.J's tunnel connects to a cave near Sweet Apple Acers. Rarity's connects to Boutique, duh, Pinkie's......ughm nobody really uses Pinkie's tunnel because she doesn't really allow it. But it's somewhere near Sugarcube Corner. And we have to use them to get here to hang. Get it?" She said. "I get it…" I said my voice trailing off. Rainbow took that as a success. "BOO-YEAH!" She said in a shout-whisper. She pulled back her arm in a fist, like she was locking something into place. "But, why aren't you angry at one another?" I asked. They looked at each other then at me, and began laughing at me! "What's so funny?!" I demanded. "We could never be angry with each other for long. Besides, Rainbow steals my hat all the time." Pinkie began giggling. "What is it Pinkie?" She asked. Pimkie bursted out laughing. Rarity and Fluttershy giggled, and I had to put a hand over my mouth to stop me from laughing. Rainbow had stolen her hat, again. And was mimicking her badly. She was hovering in the air about two to three feet above A.J's head. She was moving her lips and hands whenever Applejack talked. Applejack's hat on her head. Spike was laughing too hard and fell to the ground. Applejack began to glancing around then she saw her. Rainbow was acting like a doofus, her tongue was losely dangling from her mouth, her eyes were crossed, and her arms were close to her chest like a T-Rex. "Hey!" She shouted. She leapt up in the air to grab her hat, but she flew higher. "You'll never catch me like that, Jackie!" She called out the nickname. Applejack smiled. "Ya want to play it like that, Dashie?" She asked. Rainbow's face reddned. She gritted her teeth. "Don't call me Dashie." She growled. Applejack smirked. She hit a sore spot. "Nope." She said angling her feet towards Dash. Rainbow didn't notice. She narrowed her eyes. "Why not- what the?!" She yelped as Applejack launched herself in the arm and grabbed her foot. She pulled her down. She grabbed her hat, then let her go. "Because, I needed to distract ya." She said leaning on her right foot her hands on her hips. She had a smug look on her face. "Whatever." She said landing high on the second floor which was open. Her feet dangled from the ledge. She ignored A.J and began to preen her wings. Rarity gasped. "You preen your feather, Rainbow Dash?!" She asked excitedly. She hoped up and down. Rainbow looked at her. "Once a week." She said. "If you don't it bad for flying." Fluttershy looked confused. "Aren't you meant to preen every other day?" She asked. "Ugh? Back to EoH, please." I reminded them. They looked at me. "She's right." Applejack said. "So how are we gonna get rid of Sunset?" She asked. Pinkie smiled. "That's easy! You just wait till the moon comes out, and no more sun till dawn!" She said smiling. "Silly!" I huffed. "She means Sunset Shimmer. Not the actual Sunset." I said. Rarity stepped forward. Her eyes full of hope. "But... We can't wait till her sunsets, we have something better than the sunset." She said, smirking. Everyone looked at her. "We have the Twilight. Or Twilight Sparkle." I stepped back. Me? Why was I special? "Are you sure, Rarity?" Fluttershy asked. Rarity looked confident. "I am. Want to know why? Because you're looking at the future Fall Formal Princess, and Student Body President!" She squealed. I was so freaked out, that I passed out. Author's Note like I was afraid something was going to pop up and go BOO The first time I wrote this instead of BOO I accidentally wrote BOB! I had too much fun writing this chapter. All of the Appledash and Twilight's awkwardness. Sorry it took me soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long. Chapter 7I woke up by someone splashing ice cold water in my face. It soaked my clothes, hair and face. There were also ice cubes in there too. Which hurt very much when it to the face. "Bawahahaha!" Rainbow Dash laughed as she let the metal bucket, which she was holding, fall to the ground. She was in the air in a small ball, dying of laughter. The other four girls glared at her. I was still laying on the ground my face, hair and shirt all drenched. "Really?" Applejack asked. Rainbow didn't stop laughing. She waved Applejack off, then continued to roll around in the air. "Wah- what happened?" I gurgled on the water, spitting it out and coughing. I didn't remembered why I was unconscious. Or on the floor. "Well, Rarity has this idea that you're going to be Princess of the Fall Formal and Student Body President. You can run for one of them and win, but both and win....." Fluttershy shuttered. Pinkie hugged herself. Rarity looked down, almost embarrassed, almost. "It would be the most hardest thing ever to be done at Ponyville, since well, creatin' Ponyville." Applejack told her. Rainbow finally stopped laughing. She landed and looked at me. "Yeah, only a mad-man would try to do something like that. Or Pinkie." Rainbow Dash looked at Pinkie who was shaking her head like she was trying to shrew it back on. "Or crazier than Pinkie Pie. But...." Rainbow said her voice wavering off. The other girls looked at her. "They may admire your courage, I mean think about. It's a near impossible. You gotta have guts to do it." Rainbow commented. Fluttershy nodded. "I'm pretty sure I would vote for someone with guts like that." She said quietly. But nobody seemed to hear. "And, darlings, if we get a few of the popular kids, like Photo Finish and Trender Hoof, to vote for Twilight. Maybe the other kids will?!" Twilight just sat there on the ground. Watching the 5 agreed on things about her apparently meant-to-be Fall Formal Princess and Student Body President election. "We have to stay with our own kind, Rarity, which is a real bummer-summer. Expect summer is the only time we get to really hang out with our friends. I mean we can play at the beach, have super fun slumber parties, go bowling, and BINGO!" Pinkie said jumping up in the air. "Also we don't have to worry about Sunset Shimmer, her rules are only for the school year! Not summer! Summer is super fun-a-fun! Also there's-" Applejack put her hand over Pinkie's mouth. "Pinkie, could have get back on topic please?" She asked removing her hand. Pinkie blinked. "We were talking about cake right?" She asked. Rainbow Dash faceplamed. Rarity shook her head. Applejack closed her eyes. Fluttershy giggled. "No, we talking about you can only stay with our own kind. Then you went off track, Pinks" Rainbow said. Pinkie smiled. "Oh yeah! So Photo Finish is a Brony, and Trender Hoof is a Unicorn. Who super-doper popular Pegastister!?" Pinkie asked. Her arms dangled from her sides. Rainbow laughed. "Duh! It's obvious! The Wonderbolts!" Rainbow exclaimed shooting back up into the air. The other girls smiled. I stood up and shook myself off. "But I don't want to be Fall Formal Princess or Student Body President." I snapped if I was either, I would have to stay in Ponyville. Spike looked at me from his perch, on Rarity's shoulder. "But, Twilight! We have to stop Sunset Shimmer! We need to restore peace and friendship to Ponyville High!" He pleaed. I stormed over toward the door. "No! No! No!" I shouted. "I don't care about friendship. I don't need friends! All I need right now is to study. You all have been keeping me from it!" I screamed. Fluttershy looked disappointed. "Have we? I'm sorry." She whispered faintly, hiding in her hair. I ingored her. Why should they believe that I am willingly accept that I will do what they say!? I growled. "Come on, Spike!" I spat. Walking out the door. Then having to turn around to walk up the stairs, because our apartment -I forgot- was right above the library. I could feel their confused and unfocused eyes on me. But I didn't care. "Uhm, Twilight? I'm going to have a welcome to Ponyville Party and the Sun Celebration in the library. You know that right?" Pinkie asked as I marched up the stairs. I could almost feel Rainbow Dash looking at her. "Seriously? The library? The Egghead Place?" She asked. I heard Spike giggle. "Yup!" Pinkie replied. "And there's still sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much to do! Could you guys help me?" She asked them. I heard the others agreeing and saying that they'll help, but I wasn't going to go. Spike followed me a few minutes after. I layed in bed, trying to push out the sounds of the endless and loud party that was happening downstairs. I groaned. "Maybe I should run for Fall Formal Princess. I mean, come on, I'm Twilight Sparkle! I've never failed any test! Passed every pop quiz…… then why I'm a doubting about it?" I asked to myself. "It's called stage fright. It happens." I removed my pillow to see Spike staying at the doorway with a lamp on his head and steams pouring out of it like flowers. We walked over to me and sat down on the bed with me. "Come on, Twilight! The Princess said you needed to make friends! And what better way of doing that is running?" He said. Then he jumped off and turned to look at me. "I came up to tell you that Pinkie Pie started pin-the-tail-on-the-pony, and Applejack challenged Rainbow Dash to a hot dog eating contest until they both barf! Wanna come?" He asked. My mouth turn into a sigh of discuss. Spike laughed. Not like his normal laugh, but his awkward laugh. "Okay, I thought so." He said disappointed. He walked and close the door. I looked down maybe I should of went down with Spike. Then I heard the sound of someone hurling. "YES! 37 TO 36! HA! OH NO!" I heard Rainbow screamed, then promptly hurled. "Aw man! I missed it!" Spike said. No thank you. This wasn't for me.
