It was a beautiful sunny day, brought on by Princess Celestia. It was that same alicorn that slumped in her throne. And groaned as she was forced to listen to her pupils terrible essays. Ever since Twilight Sparkle, the other mares and stallions couldn’t be enough for her.
“What’s wrong?” Midnight Heart asked, her papers floating in a beautiful beach blue.
“What’s wrong is all my friends die out, and my alicorn friends get too annoying to handle!” Princess Celestia yelled, startling her guards awake. They groaned before standing sentry.
“Well, you can-”
“NO! For the last time, you will not be turned into an Alicorn.” Princess Celestia said.
“But what about Sunset-”
“NO! She is a disgrace to me-” Princess Celestia sighed and rubbed her temple. “I’m sorry, I cared about Sunset Shimmer but she went behind my back. I won’t let another unicorn come along and be a disgrace to my status.”
“You have to move on, how about a new alicorn princess?” Midnight Heart said, but quickly adding “it could be a raffle. It doesn’t have to be me if you don’t want it to be.”
“Yeah, yeah. A new princess would prove great drama. And when I get bored I can make another alicorn!” Princess Celestia said before laughing maniacally.
“UH, princess.” A guard said.
“Right.” Celestia cleared her throat, and made a magically-powered slip of paper. “Make more just like this, in 3 days I’ll announce the winners. Deliver to the third world countries first. Warn our allies that a new princess will be joining us soon…”
Rainbow Dash had just got word 2 days ago that she had the chance to be an alicorn. She did a few dances on the spot, certain she would win.
“I’m awesome, fast, and AWESOME!” Rainbow Dash chuckled, combing through her rainbow locks. Rainbow Dash flew out her window and went to see Twilight. She felt alive, the wind against her face. The sun on her back, and the cheers of foals as they played without a care in the world.
Foals could enter in the raffle, as long as their older then 10. Rainbow Dash landed confident she would win, as always.
Twilight was at Sugarcube Corner. Desperately trying to reach Princess Celestia and warn her that a new alicorn was a bad idea. Princess Celestia would not respond to any of her letters, and Spike was passed out from using his fire powers so much.
“Twilight, tell Celestia to allow me to win.” Rainbow Dash said trotting over to the counter.
“NO! Rainbow Dash, another alicor-”
“Would out stage you?” Rainbow pondered. “Or maybe, Celestia would give away your throne? Debunk you to a unicorn…”
“She would never.” Twilight trailed off, “besides I know way more magic than her.”
“But while she might not know spells, she makes up for it in power.” Rainbow had a good point, though Twilight didn’t want to believe it, she went through her draft and quickly revised the rough edges.
Rainbow wished Twilight luck and slunk out of the bakery. In the center of town there was a large crowd forming, many pegasi taking the opportunity to get closer in the sky. Something pegasi used to the advantage. Rainbow Dash found even Fluttershy flying in the air.
Mayor Mare was announcing what was going on. “Fillies and Gentlecolts, we all are aware of Princess Celestia's decision to turn a fellow citizen into an alicorn. She has visited every country and will now visit here. Best of luck to you all…”
Just then Celestia’s arrived in her sleek golden carriage. She took center stage and every pony bowed to her. “ Miss Mayor Mare, gosh that’s a mouthful. Say that 5 times fast, Miss Mayor Mare, Miss Mayor Mare…”
Celestia trailed off, “right. The winner, check your raffle ticket. This is sponsored by my good friend Midnight Heart.”

3. The crowd began to lessen as the raffle went on it was down to Doctor, Lyra, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Berry Punch, Lemon Hearts, and Biceps.
It was the last number, everypony has hanging by a thread.
“1!” Princess Celestia stated. Rainbow Dash had been filled with more rage than in her enter life. Instead of her it was BERRY PUNCH, Berry Punch was skipping for joy. As she was chosen to be an alicorn.
Why? Because the ignorant writer vaules berry Punch more then Rainbow Dash. Got a prob?

Princess Celestia lifted Berry into the air with her magic and let her magic glow bright as the sun. When the lit finally faded, Berry turned from simple earth pony. To royal alicorn.
Suddenly she blasted through the air, creating a shock wave as she flew. “How do I stop!” Berry asked, she didn’t need to for she crashed into a tree.
“Ouch…” Berry muttered but a beam of purple light blasted out her new horn. Destroying the tree that had forsaken her. Twilight flew over to her, followed by the other Mane 6 members.
“I knew this was a bad idea.”
“Are you alright?” Fluttershy asked.
“Oof, yeah. Does anypony know highly about magic?” Berry asked, using a feather to brush a twig out her messy mane.
Twilight coughed, as SweetDrop flew by.
“Hey! Sweetie!” Berry said and took off. She managed to keep herself straight, as she flailed through the air. Berry caught up to her and asked, “do you know anypony with high magic skills?”
“Uh...ask Colgate.” SweetDrop said.
“Right!” Berry said, and flew down in the direction of home. She felt something tug at her tail and slam her into the ground. Her alicorn body absorbed the shock and she was able to brush it off.
Celestia levitated her into her golden carriage and the stallions in front took off.
“Where are we going?” Berry asked.
“To your coronation, of course!” Princess Celestia said, tying Berry to the seat.
Berry smiled, never before had an earth pony been this high up! When Twilight did that Cloudwalking Spell for her friends doesn’t count. Wait. She wasn’t a earth pony anymore, she was an alicorn.
Berry Punch flapped her new wings. Twilight flew up to craggie, followed by Rainbow Dash with Pinkie Pie on her back, Fluttershy with Applejack on her back. And Rarity floating inside Twilight's magic.
“Celestia, who dare you do such a thing!” Twilight said, and pulled off the door with magic.
“Have you read my E-mails.” Twilight asked.
“Sorry, I have been so busy…” Princess Celestia lied, she hadn’t replied because she was in a intense game battle with Luna.
“Well, turn Berry Punch into an earth pony now!” Twilight ordered, lighting up her horn to perform an Attack Spell.
“How about I return you to your unicorn state? And anyway, I can not remove her wings as much as I can remove my own.” Celestia explained, “I need you to teach her how to use her alicorn magic.”
Berry sighed and bite her lips, she was starting to not like being an alicorn. She tuned out the conversation until, a beam of pink light matching Twilight’s horn tore apart the carriage.
The blast knocked Twilight’s friends off, and allowed them to plummet to the earth below.
“Help me! I don’t have any strength left!” Twilight pleaded as she flew over to catch Applejack.
Berry Punch lit up her horn and picked everypony up in midair.
“Thank Celestia!” Rarity said as she was airlifted by her tail.
Twilight sighed, Princess Celestia looked disappointed at Twilight. Princess Celestia ignored Twilight and turned to Berry Punch.
“Come young one, you have a coronation to attend to.” Princess Celestia teleported Twilight’s non pegasi friends to the ground, and she and Berry Punch flew to Canterlot…
“You sure this isn’t a hoof-me-down from Twilight’s coronation?” Berry asked, “it’s to tight.”
“Maybe if you didn’t eat the entire supply of Marmalade, then it would fit.
“Yeah it tasted bad, until I added alcohol.” Berry Punch laughed.
“Note to Self, change the locks on all the Vineyard harvest rooms.” Celestia said to herself, she levitated the doors open. Celestia walked down the aisles as ponies cheered. The Canterlot Coir then trotted in.
“The Princess Berry Punch, cometh. Behold, behold!” They sang, as Berry walked in front.
“A princess here before us, behold, BEHOLD, BEHOLD!”
Berry trotted up to receive her crown, Colgate there in the front row and all her other friends.
“Life in Equestria shimmers!” Berry sang, “life in Equestria-”
“NO! Do not steal my song!” Twilight said from outside...
