The History of the Entites

Authors note: If your reading this story you are reading the sequal. You don't have to but it would help. Read the first story in this series, it is titled Paradox in Equestria. Otherwise you may not understand the referances used here.

Entites are powerful creatures capable of altering reality. More powerful still than the Draconequis', they have the ability at points to be able to corrupt the Elements of Harmony themselves. But an Entite does not begin as a being of such great mass on its own. There are three known forms of the creatures known to be able to become these Gods of power. They are called Wysps, they begin as an unseen, weightless matter of power. They take no form, and no shape. Which is why they are so hard to stop. A Wysp, when it absorbs enough power can become a Whysper, they take the form of a gassious smoke like substance. They can shapeshift into other creatures they have taken power from. The next step up is obviously the great Entite. A massive ball of energy these celestial creatures can take possetion of the body and force the soul into a secluded area of the mind.

But there are only three known Wysps with the ability to do this, one is known as Hate. Hate feeds on, as you've guessed, the hatered fuled between argument and conflict. Demise feeds on the sadness and sorrow of a creature. And Sin, is known to have the most plentiful food source. He is known to have been able to absorb from the seven deadly sins: Lust, Greed, Envy, Gluttony, Pride, Sloth and Wrath. With these elements in his possetion he is known to be nearly invincible. When the two great Gods Galactica and Univera (the very creators of the universe) came to put a stop to the destructive rampage of this beast all they could do was improson it.

The only known key to releasing this behemoth was for his two lesser brothers to be destroyed. Thus the Entites were all sealed away, depleating the chance of the Entites coming back to wreak havoc in our world.

I finnished the story about the Entites. They did seem very powerful indeed, not even the creators of the universe were able to stop Sin. I became interested in the subject because we'd recently had a run in, well sort of, with a similar creature. Nopony else remembered it it seemed except for myself and Fluttershy. We were living in a dystopian empire run by Parydan Nox, who had enslaved a race of cyborg equines that we named NineVolts. They killed eveypony we once knew, I swear if it wasn't for trying to scrap parts to bring Fluttershy back from the brink of death I would have went insane just like all of my friends as well.

Parydan was apparently two brothers, Parydan and Equin Nox. Parydan the black stallion, had become obsessed with black magic. When his brother came to his door dying he apparently used his body as a sacrifice to gain the power to leave into a different world to find acceptance. Unfortunately in doing so he opened a portal into the Dark World releasing a Wysp known as Hate. Hate fed quickly on the twins' differences and quickly evolved into an Entite and consumed the bodies of both Parydan and Equin. He killed Princess Celestia, and ran Luna into hiding.

Finally after twenty five years we had regenerated Fluttershy and she snapped our friends back into reality. After an intense battle with Rainbow Dash, we defeated Parydan and his brother and him, now back to their original states, returned Equestria back to it's natural state twenty five years prior.

And that's where this story began. I was suspicious of the strange things that were happening in Equestria lately. Some of the residents seemed down, as if the happiness was drained out of them. I didn't want to rush to any conclusions, but after reading this book my suspicion was about as good as confirmed. Demise was in Equestria, and he was getting stronger.

I am the runt of my two brothers, I know that, they know it too. I was never powerful, but I hated these equines more than EITHER of them. These filthy uptight creatures belived they were better than me. I am the Wysp of Demise, I bring sadness to this land. For the past few days since my release I scoured the land and wraught on wretched desease to the world. Cursing those who crossed my path, I was in an awkward stage though. I seemed to be caught between a Wysp and a Whysper. It appeared I could WILLINGLY change my form AND not even be seen at all. It was strange but I used it to my advantage.

I hate these creatures more than my two brothers, probably because of my experiences. I remember it well, about six thousand years ago. Idiotic creatures.

Six thousand years ago...

I was then and I'm a runt now, I can't feed as often as I would like because these creatures seem to not be unhappy very often. I scrounge around getting anything I can. At the moment the land is barren, a wasteland. My two brothers have ravanged it. Nopony to feed on. The gods have warned them, though they have not heeded. I'm starving now, on my stomach crawling. Suddenly a hoof stomps the ground in front of me, I look up to see the Goddess of Creation, Univera. I latch on to her ankle trying to feed anything I can, nothing.

She shakes me off easily.

"You leeches will pay for your insolence!" she shouts at me, I cower before her powerful loud voice.

"We have warned you to leave this land and yet your petty attempt to destroy it continue!"

"Please..." I beg her, "I only mean to exist, it is not I that ravenge this land I hunger for just meager sustinance!"

"And yet if given the chance you too would pillage my creations out of greed," I have no time to protest, "NAY! I say to you begon knave!"

I am suddenly thrust into a world where I am just immobilized, nothing. I have nothing.

I do hate these creatures, which is why upon second arrival I notice the land has flourished. It seems the more powerful brother Sin is still captive, Hate on the other hand I feel his presence no more. This world is mine, it has nothing to guard it but a mere princess. HA! I demise will rule this land and ruthlessly gut it for everything I can, and when I am done the God and Goddes of creation will kneel before my power. Demise of this land of Equestria.

Alone

My next meal was closer than I thought, a little happy pink mare. Delicious. I moved in for the kill, so to speak, she was greeting everypony she came across. I could tell she was friends with all of them by the way she geeted them all, it sickened me! I went to her ear to whisper my curse. Suddenly a zoom came by, I looked to see a rainbow streak across the sky.

"Oh, look at Rainbow Dash go!" the pink one proclaimed.

Rainbow Dash huh, I would have to keep that one in mind as well.

I laid my curse.

A strange little mare,

your friends all gawk and stare.

Let us see how you fare,

when nopony wants to be there.

I faded off to watch the events unfold.

Pinkie stood there she thought she heard somepony rhyming in her ear.

I thought it might be Zecora, but it couldn't be Zecora didn't sound like that. Besides there was nopony beside me... except Rainbow up in the sky. I just trumped it to my imagination playing tricks on me, after all everypony says I have an overactive imagination.

"Cheerilee, guess what just happened!?" I shouted seeing the school teacher.

"Please Pinkie I'm very busy right now." she replied uninterested. That was strange Cheerilee was always interested in what I had to say.

"But-" I began

"PINKIE!" she said exploding at me, "uh... listen I have a lot to do right now Pinkie I don't have time for your stupid games, ok?" she said.

"Um... ok..." I replied ears down, it seemed strange but I continued on, maybe foalsitting would cheer me up.

Behind the brushes I could feel my power growing. It was good, I knew it wasn't over yet, I followed her.

I made it to the Cakes house and knocked on the door, I heard crying behind the door nothing Pinkimania couldn't handle. Mr. Cake answered the door totally covered in flour. I giggled at him, he didn't return my chortle he kinda looked mad.

"Um, is everything all right Mr. Cake?" I asked.

"No!" he said, now I was surprise, "In fact ever since your last visit-" he ducked a bad of flour that was magically tossed his way, "ever since your last visit all the twins have done is throw flour around!" he finnished.

"Oh," I said, "but I thought we were past that." I told him.

"Apparently not Pinkie." Mrs. Cake said comming in.

"In fact until they stop this I don't think your foalsitting services will be necessary anymore!" Mr. Cake said, he slammed the door in my face.

I teared up thinking that I wouldn't see Pound and Pumpkin anymore. My mane deflated, I slowly walked back home, I tried greeting like usual to cheer myself up but it seemed like everypony was in a sour mood.

"Muahahaha, discouraged you may be, it will only get better for me." I rhymed, "do not fret, it isn't over yet. I've only just begun, although with you I have already won." I laughed as I went on to scout my next target. I think I'd find the little Rainbow one the pink mare was talking about, what was her name? Ah, yes, Rainbow Dash. My stomach growled in anticipation. I couldn't wait to get more power, maybe I would even use my new shapeshifting ability too.

As Twilight aproached Pinkies house it seemed strange. Usually she was throwing a party for some sort of occasion. But the house seemed quiet, strange indeed. She knocked on the door.

"GO AWAY!" She heard the familiar high picthed squeel.

"Pinkie it's me, Twilight is everything all right?" I questioned.

The door cracked open slightly, "Twilight?" she squeeked, she sounded more like Fluttershy, "It really is you." she said.

"Ya." I told her, "Why, were you expecting somepony else?" I asked her.

"Well..." she began, "no not lately." she opened the door, I saw immediately that her usually fluffly mane now lay flat, that only ment that something had really upset her.

"Is everything all right Pinkie?" I asked her sincerely.

"No." she said simply, I waited for an update.

"Care to tell me?" I asked a little annoyed.

"Well," she said, "at first I thought I heard a voice say something in my ear, than I tried to tell Cheerilee about it but she yelled at me." She told me, the story seemed strange, a whisper in her ear and suddenly she was being blown off by her friends, "And then I went to go foalsit for the Cakes, and even THEY didn't want to talk to me, they said I couldn't foalsit for them anymore."

This was strange, very strange.

"Pinkie!" I said trying to excite her attention, it didn't work, "do you remember what the voice said?" I asked her.

"Uh," she thought for a second, "Something about my friends all gawking and staring at me... and then nopony being there... I don't remember too well it was really quiet." she told me.

"Ok, just stay safe Pinkie you hear?" I told her, she only sighed and nodded.

I had to find out what was going on here. I just hoped I could figure out what it was before it was too late. I just hoped against hope it wasn't anything like Parydan Nox. But just in case I would pay a visit to Fluttershy's cottage to tell her to tell me if she saw, or I guess in this case hears, anything suspicious. I galloped off to set this back up plan in motion. I had no idea what was going on, but I sure as hay had to put a stop to it before it got out of hoof.

Loosing Pride

As I zoomed through the sky the wind whipped through my mane. That was one of the reasons I wore it short, long hair just gets caught in your eyes. Being the fastest flyer in Equestria can make it to if you crash you cause a lot of damage not just to buildings but to yourself. I learned that the hard way, although I wouldn't have changed it for the world. After all if I hadn't I would have never discovered the Daring Doo books. Anyways flying was the only thing I could rely on to always feel as free as I was. To leave the ground and watch it speed away below me, it was as if all of my problems were whooshed away. I knew I was the best and there was nothing that could prove that wrong.

As I whisped through following that rainbow trail I saw the little cyan mare. Ha, she had no idea what she was in for. I noticed she was fast, really fast. But compared to my newfound abilities to alter reality I could change that. I never had this power when my brothers ruled, now that I was on my own I could have the same powers they once had when they ravenged and pillaged this retched land of judgmental creatures. Soon though they would know the true power of me. Suddenly the mare swooped down from the sky and spoke with a pale yellow one.

"Hey Shy, where ya goin'?" I asked Fluttershy.

"Oh, hi Dash, I'm just going to the market to get some medicine for Angel, he's really sick right now." she replied.

"Oh really?" I said genuinly concerned, "Well I hope he get's better soon, that way he can see me tryout for the Wonderbolts in the open auditions this coming month." I told her with pride.

"Oh I heard about that," she told me, "I hope you do well."

"Hope?" I said smugly, "Ha, trust me Shy all I gotta do is show 'em my on command Sonic Rainboom and I'm a shoe in."

"That'll surely get you in." she told me.

I let her on her way, she had a lot of animals to take care of, she was always busy with something.

This was perfect, one feeding just led to the other here. Rainbow Dash with her story for the Wonderbolts. All I had to do was break her spirit, as for the yellow one, hoho, my work was cut out for me. The one called Angel had fallen ill. All it would take was a little 'push' and down goes the tears and my power will rise again. I quickly change my form and prepare to put my plan into motion.

Just as I'm preparing to take off something stops me, a whisper in my ear.

Your victories give you your pride,

you belive you've already won.

Let us take break you down inside,

and see what damage we have done.

"What the hay is that supposed to mean?" I shouted spinning around, nothing. What was that? I turned around and was about to take off but found myself looking onto the red glowing eyes of an all black stallion with a white bolt of lightning on his flank.

"Who are you supposed to be?" I asked.

"I am the one and only Blitz Bolts my dear." he said, he really talked funny but I payed no mind.

"And you are?" I laughed, he payed no attention to my disinterest.

"Haha, my dear I hear you are trying out for the Wonderbolts." he said.

"Ya? What of it?" I said one eyebrow raised, it kinda sounded like he was dissing my idols.

"Well," he said walking past me then glancing back with a creepy eye, "it is just that they have been BEGGING me to join them for years." He said, NOW I was mad.

"What? You are telling me that THE Wonderbolts ASKED you-"

"Begged," he corrected, "is more a proper term dearie."

"You don't look like much" I shot at him looking at his small wings.

"You would be surprised first glances can only mean underestimating your opponent." he said unfurling his massive wings, they were magnificent. They expanded nearly eight feet across.

"So what do you say?" he asked.

"Wha-what?" I said still stunned by his display.

"Let us race," he said, "to see who is best"

"Your on buddy!" I accepted his challenge.

We took our places at the imaginary start line.

"Ready?" I said.

"Set" he replied.

"GO!" I zoomed off and looked back to see him still at the start.

I began to laugh, that is until he took of and almost immediately caught up to me.

We were now side by side, my wings beat furiously as I pushed forward I could feel the sound barrier pushing against me. I was almost there, suddenly, BOOM!

But it wasn't me, a black stream of nothingness zoomed past me. The force of it knocked me off course I went crashing to the ground. The black stallion landed firmly next to me.

"You see now," he said to me, I was still lying on the ground both my pride and body was in pain, "your Sonic Rainboom has nothing on my Cosmic Rift." he said.

"I can fly fast enough to temporarily rip a hole in reality. Your acctually LUCKY, had you been sucked in you would have never been heard from again. Face it Rainbow Crash, to me you'll always just be second best."

And that's when he took off.

I took off and disipated, I watched the little pegasus and laughed. She was so concerned with being number one she acctually felt sad about being beaten. After I was done with this land she'd have more to worry about than those Wonderbolts. I took off to find that yellow mare, she was going to be the next target of mine.

I came up to Fluttershy's cottage but she wasn't there. I let myself in, Angel was in a bed with a bowl of soup beside him. He looked sick, and grumpy as usual.

"Hello Angel." I said. He only turned his nose up at me in response, "have you seen Fluttershy?" I knew I wasn't going to get a speech for a response but at least a notion of some sort is what I expected. He refused to tell me.

"Ok, well if you see her can you point her to my library? I'd really like to talk to her." He simply shrugged.

"Thanks Angel." I said as I left. I had to warn somepony maybe I would try to see if I could find Rainbow. Something was definately up and I had to find out just what it was.

Breaking Angel Wings

As I searched for the little pale yellow one, Fluttershy, it's name was I came across that purple one again, Twilight, they called it. She was talking to a white mare with a purple mane.

"Hello Rarity." she began.

"Oh, hello Twilight."

"What are you doing in the market area, shouldn't you be working?" she asked her.

Seems like an interesting enough oppertunity.

"Oh yes, well I have to do a little work for Sweetie Belle, you know I promised her that I would spend more time with her after the Sister Hooves Social. So I'm here looking for some new ribbon to make uniforms for the little fillies." the white one went on, she was quite annoying. I would love to shut her up, although I did see potential for a meal. She seemed to have run into trouble with her sibling before. It seemed from her speech she innitiated it, so what if her little sister was the one to bahave rudely back. Demise shall spread throughout the land like wildfire.

I left not hearing the rest I had spotted the little mare at a medical stand getting a perscription.

"Yes, I need it for my little bunny friend. He's very sick you see."

I cast my curse.

Your friend has come down,

with a frightning ailment.

In sorrow you will drown,

When it is too late to lament.

I heard a whisper in my ear but when I turned around nothing was there. I though it was strange, but was only afraid of things I could see, so I dubbed it as just rift in the wind that had come my way from somepony elses conversation. Still I had a nagging fear it was something else. I spotted Twilight and Rarity talking nearby I went over to say hello.

"Oh hey, Fluttershy." I told Fluttershy as she approached me.

"Hello girls, I don't have much time to talk I have to get Angel his medicine. He's really sick." Fluttershy told us.

"Oh, don't worry about that Fluttershy I saw him when I was looking for you he's fine." I told her, "But I did need to talk to you girls about something."

I told them about Pinkie's strange behavior and how she had seemed so sad all of a sudden.

"Oh my that is strange." Rarity said, "well I will keep my eye out right now I must make my leave of you girls I must finnish this ensamble for my sister."

Rarity trotted off leaving just me and Fluttershy.

"You don't think its another one of those creatures that possessed Parydan do you?" I asked her.

"I don't know." Fluttershy said, she hadn't said anything since I had told her about Pinkie.

"Fluttershy is everything alright?" I asked.

"Well..." she started, "It's just you said Pinkie heard a whispering of something in her ear right?" she asked.

"Yes?" I said a little worried now, that's when suddenly it clicked, sort of, "Shy did you hear something?" I asked her. She nodded, "Well?" I asked eagerly, "What did it say?"

"Um..." she started trying to remember, "It said something about my friend being sick I think, and then I'm going to be really sad because it's too late. I think that's what it said it sounded like a poem?"

A poem? I had read somewhere in another book that rhyms were sometimes used as incantations of Dark Magicks. Dark Magicks were different than regualr unicorn magic, it had properties that didn't follow rules. I thought about what she had told me, a sick friend, too late. Oh no!

"Fluttershy." I said looking up, "we have to get to Angel NOW!" I told her with urgancy in my eyes. She saw it too and she realized that it was a more serious situation than she had once put off.

I watched as the two mares galloped off, the puple one was on my tail, but I lauged. She was always two steps behind. I moved on to my next target soon I would be powerful enough to take on my Entite form. I could feel my body pulsating with my collected powers. It was strange though, the last feedings I had were different, as if a small bit of extra magic was being absorbed into me. I put it off to focus on my next target. On to the one called Rarity.

` We burst through the doors of Fluttershy's cottage to see Angel underneath a cover breathing heavily. Fluttershy rushed over and grabbed her up into her forehooves and cradled him. His limbs hung limply as she swayed and rocked him back and forth.

"Are you ok Angel Bunny?" she asked, I opened the jar of medicine and poured it into a spoon.

I levitated it over and poured it into his mouth, his breathing seemed to slow down.

"Is he ok now?" I asked.

"No!" Fluttershy said, panic rising in her voice.

"But...his breathing?" I asked.

"Yes, but his tempurature is skyrocketing." she said, "He's sevearly dehydrated, get me some water." I rushed to her kitchen and quickly poured a glass of water from her pither on the counter. I ran it back to her, she grabbed it and poured it into his mouth.

"Oh no..." she began to cry, Angel's eyes were begining to close, his breathing was now almost non-existant.

"What, what's happening?" I asked her.

"He's going to die Twilight, there's nothing I can do." she said crying erratically. I sat there trying to comfort my friend. If this was something like Hate, I was going to make him pay for this. I couldn't let anypony else die. I didn't have powerful enough time magic for that.

As I made my way to the boutique following that white mare I felt my power grow even more. I laughed, even not being there I could absorb the little fools misery. It was almost time, just a little more. And here at the doors of this dress shop was my next feast.

Sister Hate Again

I followed the white mare back to her boutique I was awaiting the outcome. That is if this new orange one hadn't stopped her. It was a bit annoying but seeing my luck as of late I wouldn't be surprised if this turned into my next meal. I watched silently as I drifted through the air eavesdropping on the conersation.

"Oh, hello Applejack, what are you doing here at Carousel. I always thought you hated dressing up." I asked my country friend.

"Ah do but Ah just came ta pick up muh lil' sis from yer house she said that she was goin' crusadin' taday." Applejack explained.

"Oh well that's nice of you, everything alright at the farm?" I asked casually walking to the door.

Applejack sighed as she closed her eyes and shook her head, I stopped without opening the door, if Applebloom was behind it I didn't want her hearing anything bad.

"Well..." Applejack began, "as ya'll know Granny Smith is gettin' older." she explained, "She's startin' ta ferget things, why just this mornin' Ah had ta remind her what muh name was."

"Oh my." I was truly shocked, Mrs. Smith was coming down with Alzhimers, if that was true than all of the secretes for her zapapple jam would have to be passed on before she forgot all of them.

"It's not just that." Applejack continued, "She's also been coughin' up blood lately. Ah think it might be Terbuculosis, but the doc says he can't tell yet. They gotta get the results in a few days."

I could see the pain in her eyes, her grandmare from what she had told me was the only one in the family they had left from their memories of when her parents were alive. Applejack was a strong mare, but she still had feelings like all of us. The first time She told me about what happened I almost cried for my dear friend.

"But we Apples gotta be strong," she said putting on her bold face, that's our Applejack, "Even the loss of a dearly loved family member we gotta stay ridged, lahk the skin of an apple." She pounded her chest, she truly was an inspriation. I opened the door and saw that only Applebloom and Scootaloo were left in the room. Scootaloo was crying and Applebloom was trying to comfort her.

"Scootaloo what happened?" I asked her.

"Sweetie Belle ran away." she teared.

"What!?" the news was indeed shocking.

Applebloom explained, apparently while they were playing they knocked over my diary. Sweetie Belle was going to put it back but her name was what caught her eye. It was my entry where I had written that while having a sister was great, it was also very time consuming. Apparently she took it the wrong way and ran out, she was angry with me now.

"I have to find her before she does something foolish." I said as I ran out of the boutique.

I had to act fast if I was going to curse them both, the white one was on her way. Her first.

Run as you may, run as you might,

your attemts will be in vain.

Your sister you love but she seeks only a fight,

Let your tears fule her own rage and pain.

I made my leave to curse the orange one.

I thought I heard someone saying something, I heard it well but I passed it off. Right now I had to find Sweetie Belle. That was my main priority.

Ah left the boutique and locked it up fer Rarity, she left in such a hurry she didn't even lock up. We said our goodbyes to AB's friend Scootaloo and took off to the farm. AB was silent most of the way. Ah thought it was a little strange she was usually really talkative. At the gates of the farm I could sense somethin' was wrong with the little filly.

"Alright AB, what's buggin' in yer head?" I asked stopping her.

She avoided my gaze, now I was really worried, "Ah heard what you and Rarity were talkin' about." she muttered.

Now Ah was really worried.

"Oh AB it ain't nothin' ta worry about, ya'll gotta understand it's a natural part of lahf." I explained.

"But WHY!?" my little sister looked at me now, her big honey colored eyes filled with tears, "Celestia and Luna don't die and they're over a thousand years OLD! Granny Smith has ALWAYS been there fer us WHY'S she gotta leave now?" she was almost bawling out her rage with me.

"Listen lil' sis" Ah said taking her into my arms, Ah had tears in mah eyes too, "Ah'm gunna miss her too." I told her stroking her red mane, "Ah really love Granny Smith, but if it's her tahm then we aren't ones to question it kay?" I asked pulling her away to look mah little sis in the eyes. She didn't look me back, she didn't respond. She just kept quiet the rest of the way home silently sobbing.

Now was my chance, while a rift was forming I would push the fools farther apart with a flick change of emotional thought patterns. I zoomed down and whispered into the orange mares ear.

Your love for blood runs deep,

so do cuts and scars.

Watch as a bruise will keep,

keep you family apart.

Ah though Ah heard somethin' Ah just ignored it. Ah went into the barn, AB galloped up to her room to sulk, that was good she needed ta get it out of her system. Ah went to Granny Smiths room to check on her. I came in she was in the middle of a coughing fit, she quickly stowed away the hankie she had.

"Ya doin ok Granny?" Ah asked.

"Oh yes, old bones ain't gunna give up a fight that easily." she said I smiled as I went over to tucke her in, it was almost time for her afternoon nap.

"Well Ah'ma gunna be driftin' off ta sleep here g'nite Applebloom." she said yawnin' an' closin' her eyes. I smiled as I put a hoof on her head, she was burnin' up. That's when she turned over, Ah saw a big bruise on her back. I looked at it, then went around her bed and saw the handkie she had. I reeled back to what Ah saw. I didn't think she'd even make it to get her test results. The hankie was soaked compleately in blood.

I knew she was goin' fast but Ah didn't know how fast. Ah just hoped we all had time to show Granny how much she ment to all of us. Ah hoped it wasn't too late.

Hmm? This one wasn't going as fast as the others, although the curse I laid for this one was not fast acting. They would soon drift apart, begin to hate each other. And when the family split I would have enough power to evolve. The purple one was on my tail, but I saw the rate she was at ,she was far from discovering my plan.

Rise of Demise

As Rarity ran through town looking for Sweetie Belle she came across some stange events. First off, most of the townsponies were not in the usually bustling streets. Most of the time there were vendors, carts or some type of commotion going on. Now though it seemed as if it was a ghost town, she tried asking whoever she saw if they'd seen Sweetie Belle. Most, if not all, of the town knew of the misadventures of the Cutie Mark Crusaders. None of them had seen her, she felt her heart sink as she tired out on a bench.

Would she ever find her dear sister? She wondered. That's when she noticed, everpony she talked to seemed as glum as she. What was going on here. That's when Twilight showed up.

"Rarity?" I asked confused, I thought she was going to her boutique to work on her sisters uniforms, "what are you doing out here?"

"I'm looking for Sweetie Belle." she said with tears in her eyes, "I'm really starting to get worried." she said.

I could see it was really troubling her, "Well common we'll look for her together." I told her.

"Where's the last place you remember seeing her." I asked trying to keep it casual though I knew it could end up being bad, I just hoped it wasn't like Fluttershy's incedent.

"At home, I just came back and her friends said that she had seen my diary and gotten angry and run off." she explained, it seemed like the work of Demise all right. I couldn't blame it all on that yet, but the more things changed the more likely it seemed.

As I watched the little purple one I laughed, seeing the mare on my tail was a game for me. I grew in power, the sadness of the white one had given me a half-Entite form. I was now a figure, Myst, I called it. I was not entirely an Entite but I was no longer a Whysper. I was a mist like substance, although with this form I could use the weaker Entite abilities. As I clutched the little off white filly in my claws I laughed to myself. I think it's time to reveal the Demise that will spread acrodd this land like the desease it represented.

"It's strange, everypony in town seems sad because a series of events happening to them. The only one that seems to not have been affacted is Rainbow Dash, although..." I paused, "Rarity have you seen Dash at all today?"

Rarity shook her head. Suddenly the earth began to shake, a giant fissure opened in front of us. A shadowy figure rose from it.

"Demise is here, Demise brings fear. Now let's see how you equines like it, when the tables are turned and I am the one on top of this." the giant figure I assumed was Demise.

"What are you and what do you want" Rarity shouted at Demise.

He produced the one thing that both Rarity and I feared, the limp lifeless body of the young Sweetie Belle.

"Be at ease, I come offering these. There will be moreI can most certainly guaruntee, this is not the end you all shall see. I shall bring the wretched land to it's knees, as they see the full power of my disease." It rhmyed on, it was definetly better than Zecora.

"What are you here for?" I asked it trying to get in on it's plan.

"Always to late purple one, a step behind my plan. One friend left, one unaffected, soon though the rift, will drive her apart and will spread my infected." He said, this one was a little curious. I had no idea what he ment.

"You cannot stop me, I will win the fight. I will win you see, by the end of night."

With that he faded into the earth, the fissure didn't close and Sweetie Belles body lay on the ground with Rarity crying over it.

"She's gone Twilight." Rarity sobbed.

"Common Rarity, we have to stop Demise you heard him." If I had understood his strange lyrics we only had until nightfall. Applejack had apparently been affected, it was only Rainbow Dash that seemed to be the one who wasn't hurt by Demise. I had to hurry up and find her with or without Rarity. I saw the familiar Rainbow streak across the sky.

"Rarity, have to find Rainbow and try to stop Demise, are you coming?" I asked.

She didn't answer, I ran in the direction of the raibow, it was in the central field where she practiced her tricks. Good she was her usual self, at least that was for sure.

Meanwhile back at the farm.

Things were startin' ta get outta control. Applebloom had exploded in Big Mac's face and stormed off. She usually wadn't one ta defy authority. Ah saw Big Mac blowin' off steam by buckin' his old beat up hoofin' bag. Ah trot up to him.

"Everythin' alright Big Mac?" Ah asked him.

"Eyup!" he said kickin' the bag again. He wadn't payin' attention to me.

"Ya need somepony ta talk to?" Ah asked.

"Nope." was his only reply.

"Big Mac Ah know yer upset about Granny too but-" Ah was cut short.

"Whadda YOU know AJ!?" he yelled huffin' at me, "All ya ever do is go around with yer head all blown up that yer the best athleat. Some of us er tryin' ta earn our livin' sis." he'd never talked much so Ah didn't know what was on his mind, "Ya remeber that time ya'll went an' ran off?" he asked, Ah remembered it, that was when Ah got muh cutie mark. "Ya'll got yer cutie mark an' Granny Smith threw ya'll a party." He said, Ah didn't know where he was going with it but I continued, "An' when Ah got MINE!" he continued, now Ah knew what he was gettin' at, "What happened?" he said tears now in his eyes.

"Uh..." Ah didn't know what to say.

"NOTHIN'!" he yelled, "NOTHIN' happened THAT'S what. I've been livin' in yer shadow fer fifteen years AJ." he said, "So SORRY if Ah don' think Ah need anypony ta talk to. Hay you wern't even there fer me when Ma an' Pa died."

"Now you wait just a cotton pickin' second Mac" I stepped up, we butt heads now forhead to forehead. "Ah was in just as much pain as you" We was glarin' at each other now. "Ya'll ain't got no right talkin' to me lahk that. This is MAH farm remember."

"Well than..." Big Mac said taking a step back, "Maybe Ah'll make mah leave then." Now that took me back.

"But. W-Whaddubout the f-farm, a-applebuckin' season's almost here." I stuttered.

"Ya'll seemed ta do it just fine LAST year." he said, he didn't lose stride he just went into the farm to pack his things. Looks like our apple tree was about ta lose two apples.

I watched down at the farm as the little orange mare sat and cried. It was quite a preformance, I had only pushed apart the two sisters, I didn't expect all of this to happen. Oh, well casualties in the middle of my war. After all, with her sadness to compleat this it was now time to reign supreme. Now I was a full Entite, my body had muscular structure I was a behemoth, a force to be reckoned with. Now I could manipulate the very air around me just as my brothers did to take this world six millenia ago. Now it was my time, the time of Demise. It was strange though, it seemed I was stronger than my brothers, not in power, but I felt some odd power in the pit of my full stomach. As if no power in the WORLD could stop me. I put it off. How COULD anything stop me, it wasn't as if there was a magical energy that turned demons like myself to stone.

Rally the Troops

I soared throught the air, spiraling downward at speeds that made the wind whistle in my ears. Just before I hit the ground I pulled up, I wasn't fast enough. CRASH! I hit the ground and skid through the dirt, I got up dusted myself off and spit out the grit in my teeth. I sat down, defeated, Blitz was right I would never be number one. I base my life on that, now... it seemed I had nothing to have a goal for. All of my dreams were crushed before my hooves, maybe I could get a job as a mailmare.

"Raibow?" I heard Twilight behind me, I tried to wipe my face but she still saw me, "are you ok? Oh no don't tell me."

"Ya," I told her once more my muzzle to the grass, defeated, "I'm a loser I know." she said.

"What happened?" she said sounding a little overexagerated.

"Blitz beat me in a race." I told her.

"Blitz?" she said sounding confused.

"I know, I didn't hear about him before today either. He challenged me to a race, I was winning at first but he has this move called the Cosmic Riftboom." I told her how it seemed as if is sucked reality into it, and what he told me about it. It was like six tones of black shades streaked through the sky.

"Rainbow." she said to me, "that stallion was a fake"

My ears perked up now, "What?" I said.

I explained to her how it was just a manifestation of our own sadness created over six thousand years ago. I told her how if we didn't defeat it we would all suffer.

"Well common than." Rainbow shot into the sky, "Let's kick this Demise guys flank... uh, he does have a flank right?" Rainbow asked.

"Uh, well my book didn't say exactly what an Entite looks like." I said sheepisly, after all my books had always been able to answer any question.

"So what's the plan Twilight!" Rainbow stated eagerly.

"Well first we need to round up the others," I told her, "Were going to use the Elements of Harmony against Demise to return him to his imprisonment in the dimensions between." I told her, "You go find Fluttershy I'll find the others I know where they are."

We set off, I went to find Rarity, Applejack, and Pinkie.

As I sat above the clouds with the pale yellow mare in my claws, I laughed at the foolish ponies attempts to launch a counter attack against me.

"Please..." the yellow one pleaded to me, "please let me go." she whispere.

I laughed, "Little one you are part of this plan of mine, I need you alive for this. You will help bring this land to Demise, you will help me bring Univera to her knees."

I laughed once more, now was the time for Demise to truly take this land.

I found Rarity still weeping over the dead body of her sister. She stood when she heard me, she wiped her tears and looked at me.

"It. Is. ON!" she said, "Let's take this thing down Twilight"

I nodded my head, we started in the direction of my library, one to pick up my element and two so that I could get Spike. I didn't feel he was safe by himself.

Spike was still safe, we headed towards Pinkies place, she was still waiting in the dark.

"Pinkie?" I said walking up to my sulking friend, she was in the corner.

"What do you want?" she said, "Come to tell me you don't wanna me friends anymore?" she told me as if I had done something.

"No, Pinkie we need your help." I told her.

"Darling we can't defeat Demise if your not here to help." Rarity told her.

"Oh ya?" she said turning around, "and why should I help you left me here Twilight, you didn't even wanna talk to me before now you want me to help you?" she was hurt I could tell.

"Pinkie," I told her stepping closer, "were not doing this for us were doing it for everypony." I explained, "do it for Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake, if you don't then they'll have to grow up in a world of eternal sadness. Even if you can't see them, don't you want them to at least be happy?" I could tell my words had sunk in.

She went over to a drawer where confetti and balloons shot out of it.

"Usually that cheers me up." she said with a frown. She picke up her Element and put it on.

Celestia had decided the best place for them was with us, at least since the Discord incedent.

We headed off towars Rarity's place to get her Element and then to Sweet Apple Acres.

When we reached the farm we arrived to Big Macintosh and Applejack arguing. Big Macintosh left with a suitcase I assumed was his belongings. Applejack sat on the porch, apparently it was her, and not Rainbow Dash, that I was supposed to see. I hadn't thought of the fact that she seemed fine when Iast saw her. My assumtion was that Demise had already gotten to her and had given Granny Smith her disease. But that's when I realized that Granny Smith had become ill before Demise had come.

"Is everything ok?" I asked my friend, she shook her head.

"Granny just died," she said, "and Big Mac blames me fer overshadowin' him fer years and ran off." She opened her eyes and looked at me with so much sadness, "AB's mad at me and Ah'm not gunna be able ta buck the apples this season. Ah lost everthin' in one day Twilight." I could see she was hit the hardest, Demise had hit one pin and knocked the rest of them loose.

"Applejack we need your help." I told her.

That's when Rainbow zoomed out of the sky.

"There you guys are." she said.

I turned to face her.

"Where's Fluttershy?" I asked.

Dash looked down before she answered, "I couldn't find her I looked everywhere." I could tell she was worried. Now we had a big problem. According to Demises warning, he would destroy Ponyville by sundown.And Fluttershy was nowhere to be found...

Through the Labrinth

Twilight Sparkle:

I had to find out what the mystery of what that voice was talking about. I had to take back that which was stolen by Demise. ...What did that mean? I had to find my friends, but HOW this place was huge. I saw a spark from the corner of my eye, down the hall to my right. I ran to it, it seemed to take longer to get into view than I thought. As I got close I could see it was etchings into a stone wall. The walls got narrow the closer I got, until I had to squeeze in just to get close enough to see it. It was like one of the mirrors at Canterlot Castle where Celestia once held the Elements of Harmony. Only the pictures were those I had never seen.

Three pictures of shadows were at the top. Below that they seemed to be destroyed by two powerful alicorns. They were each defeated differently. The smallest shadow, seemed to be cowering beneath the hooves of one. Another was being blasted away by a powerful magical energy. And the biggest shadow, it was strange but I got the feeling the two alicorns had to sacrifice themselves to imprison it. Was it Demise that they had imprisoned. No, this one looked different, the big one was much more brutal looking. That one must have been Sin from my book.

Demise seemed to resemble more like the small one. What did it mean, was it a clue? I would have to find the others to discuss it with them. I pulled out of the narrow hallway and continued to look. After a few twists and turns I was about to take a rest, my hooves were getting tired.

"Twilight?" I turned around and saw Fluttershy and Rarity standing behind me.

Rarity:

It was a strange colts voice that echoed through the hallway. I wasn't sure but it sounded like it was telling me to find my friends. Began to set off, but my eye was caught be a small flash of light. It wasn't a jewel, my horn didn't notify me of it's presence. I trotted in for a closer look. It was a stone wall, it showed what looked like our six cutie marks in a circle within a big shadow that looked like that nasty Demise character. What was it for though, I wondered. Had he collected us within himself, was that why we were in this tacky building with out of style staircases. I had no idea what was going on but turned around and bumped into Fluttershy. She shreiked with fright, poor thing, dark places really weren't her thing.

"Oh, it's just you Rarity." she said, "I didn't expect to see anypony else in here"

"Well darling I heard some voice that said I was supposed to find my friends, and apparently take back what that aweful Demise has stolen" I rambled on, begining to talk as I strut, "can you belive the audacity of that thing stealing from me."

"Rarity do you think it's a good idea to be wandering around here?" she whispered.

"Why yes darling how else are we going to find the others, if YOUR here than so are the others." I explained to her. She seemed to agree with me she followed until we bumped into Twilight.

"Twilight?" I said, seeing my friend.

Fluttershy:

I heard a voice that seemed to tell me that I had to take back what Demise had stolen and to defeat him from within. I didn't understand what it ment. I didn't move, this place was dark. Then I saw a flash of light from the corner of my eye. A wall at the end of a hallway, I walked closer to it. As I got close I could see it had etchings of some kind of images. When I got close enough I could see what they were. The top image was that of Twilight, myself and Rarity. The next one down was Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Pinkie. The others at the bottom had their eyes closed, as if they were trapped. Were we supposed to find them, where were they? I turned around and began to turn corners until I saw Rarity. I told her I didn't think this place was safe but she said that there was no other way to find the others if we didn't look. We walked around a bit until we found Twilight wandering around as well.

"Twilight?" Rarity said getting her attention.

The Trials Begin:

"What happened?" I asked them, I knew they wouldn't know but I had to ask.

"I don't know darling but I heard this voice that said-" she was cut off.

"I heard it too!" Fluttershy agreed.

"Me too," I agreed, "It said we had to find what Demise stole."

"Then find our friends without loosing ourselves." Rarity continued.

"And defeat Demise from within himself" Fluttershy finnished.

We had all heard the same thing, "Well I also saw a big block with images on it."

"I as well saw the same." Rarity said.

"Me too." Fluttershy said.

We explained what we had all seen, I tried to piece it togther they had to have some kind of connection.

"It sounds like..." I began trying to not have it sound crazy, "I think the other three are being held in a different location, we have to find them."

"Well that exlpains MY wall but what about Rarity's?" Fluttershy said.

"Well Rarity said that our six cutie marks were in the middle of a big shadow, on my wall there were three shadows. I believe they depicted the three Entites: Hate, Demise and Sin. I think the one in Rarity's was Demise, maybe our cutie marks were our Elements. It could explain why they didn't work against him, if he stole them then we couldn't have had them to use against him."

"But how in Equestria could he have stolen our Elements?" Rarity said.

"Well he may not have done it on purpouse." I said the news shocked them, "He may have absorbed our Elements and corrupted us when he fed off of our sadness." I explained to them. "It could also explain why Pinkie, Rainbow and AJ are trapped." They all listened, "I think because Demise hit THEM harder maybe this is just a manifestation of our feelings inside of him. Some kind of force put us in his mind, but our emotions are the driving force of solving the puzzle." I kept on explaining. "If the other three, felt like because of what Demise did they have nothing left, then inside of him they're imprisoned. The only ones who can find them are us, but we have to stay strong." I told them, "Like that voice said we can't loose ourselves, you all remembered what happened last time when Discord tried to seperate us, Demise tried the same thing." It was a strange situation we were in.

"But Twilight what about YOUR wall?" Fluttershy said.

"I'm not sure..." I told them, "I guess we'll just have to figure that one out later. Right now we have some friends to find common girls." we set off down the only hall that wasn't blocked by a sideways staircase.

Raibow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie:

I woke up and saw that I had a shackle around my ankle. I unfurled my wings and tried to fly up, my chain jerked my back down. I slammed down hard.

"Y'ok sugercube?" I heard my friend say. I looked over and saw Applejack to my left. I smiled and nodded.

"Where are we?" I asked getting up and rubbing my head.

"Wherever we are it's really really really dark." Pinkie said to my right.

"Ah think it may have somethin' ta do with that." AJ said pointing a hoof at the only wall that was illuminated in the whole joint. It was too dark to see anything. At least we had enough chain to get close enough to see it.

The picture at the top showed a pillar much like when we first got our Elements, we surrounded it. The one below that was us using our Elements to destroy a big shadow. What the hay was this all about some other prophecy? I needed Twilight for some answers that was for sure.

"Ah don't like the looks of this." AJ said.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Seems ta me like we gotta figure out a few puzzles ta git outta here."

I looked to my right, Pinkie seemed to be a little better now.

"Well whatever happens I'll be there for you guys, ok?" I told them, "I'll never let my friends down."

Whatever was ahead of us I had to help them get us through it.

Demise:

I was already the king of this land. The fires atop the buildings flickered before my eyes. Ah, the beautiful sight of destruction. The wonderous veiw of seeing the lives of others' years of hard work being destroyed in seconds. It filled my heart. HA, who was I kidding I had no heart, as an Entite I was in no need of organs. All I needed was my wit, and my power. Not even the great leaders of this land Luna or Celestia dared to challenge me. I would hunt down and kill them later. For now I held the bodies I collected, I watched the blood drip from them. One red stallion, one purple dragon. These two defied me first. The only ones, what did they want, why was it only them? I took no concern, it was time to feed on the others. I looked down at my subjects all bowing to me. I laughed atop my burning throne made up of all of their homes.

They had lost everything, and I had gained the power that was rightfully mine. It was good, but I couldn't shake the thought that something was strange about those six, where were the bodies. They couldn't possibly take me down, the Elements of Harmony was what they used against me. Little did they know that all they held was shells, the power was accidentally drained by me when I fed on them. I lifted my hand, five orbs came out. I rotated them between my hands. That's right, I had only fed on five of them, only one had her Element. I shrugged, she could keep it. Now that they were gone there was nothing in the world that could stop me. I laughed out loud, my subjects all flinched at the sudden burst of loud sound.

Untamed

It was dark, almost too dark to see. If it wasn't for the strange glowing lights coming from odd place in the walls we would have tripped on the jagged surface of the ground. I couldn't be certain but I could have sworn we were walking in circles. I wasn't sure where to find the others, but we weren't going to get anywhere not doing anything. As we continued to walk I saw that some of the rooms had doors, at least I thought they were doors. They were indents in the walls.

"Girls," I told Fluttershy and Rarity, "wait a second ok." They watched as I examined the door. There was a small indentation on and corner. I brushed it with my hoof, dust fell from it. I kept brushing until the dust had cleared away.

"Twilight," Rarity coughed, "what ever are you doing that for?" she said in her posh accent.

"Look!" I said after it was done, there were etchings on this door.

"What is it?" Fluttershy asked.

"It looks like..." I paused looking at the big blue diamond shaped paining, "Rarity is that your Element?" I asked.

"Well," Rarity said taking a look, "it certainly looks like a painting of it."

I examined the door once more, a small note on the bottom. An act of generosity opens many doors, although far away you may not see, trek through your own trials to find a fulfilling key.

"What's this another clue?" I asked, pointing it out to Rarity and Fluttershy.

"It must be," Rarity said, "To open the door I must have to preform an act of generosity." Rarity said. But how was she going to do that?

"Common," I told them, if we find all the doors we can unlock them all and hopefully find the others.

Meanwhile...

We were in mostly all darkness, if it wasn't for the wall in front of us we wouldn't have been able to see each other. I was already trying to break this chain. I kept flying up and getting yanked back to the ground. I was getting bruised and scraped up but I kept trying. I had to escape, I wasn't used to being trapped in one place for so long. AJ pulled on my chain, I turned back to her, angry.

"WHAT!" I shouted.

"Look Rainbow, y'ain't gunna get out like that." she told me.

"Yeah?" I challanged, "And why not?"

"It's wrought iron casted steel chain, no amount of pullin's gunna break it." she explained, "Ya gotta find the end of the chain an' break it off the wall, it's yer only chance."

I was going to object but it made more sense than what I was doing. I began following the chains but stopped when I noticed, AJ and I were down one.

"Pinkie," I called, "you coming?" I called to her.

She was lying in the same place as when we found her.

"No," she said, "I'm staying here and letting the others find me." she said, "Their coming I know it, it's not my Pinkie Senses I can just feel it." for once she didn't have a happy tone in her voice it was acctually... serious.

I nodded, "Ok Pinkie." I told her so she knew.

I turned around and began following my chain, whether Twilight found her or I found Twilight, I had faith that we would all find each other and get out of here ok. I just hoped I didn't lose my way.

I followed my chain all the way to a pitch black wall, I bumped into it and felt around. It was just a jagged stone wall, I felt the place where my chain was held. I grabbed it and began to pull. Immediately a blue glow emitted from it. Now I could see. The chain had apparently led me into a hallway. Nopony else could see me, where was Applejack and Pinkie. I looked back at the chain. The glow was coming from small words around the chain. I looked closer at it so that I could read the inscription.

Honest and loyal, together they are strong. Stronger than and chain.

"What the hay does that mean?" I said.

I suddenly felt myself falling.

Rainbow had tried ta get Pinkie to come, but she was insistant on waitin' fer one of the others ta find her. There wadn' any arguin' with that one. Ah followed mah chain all the way to a wall. The wall was all rough and jagged, Ah felt around for the link that held it to the wall. Ah pulled on it an' a red glow came from the wall. Ah looked around and saw that Rainbow wadn' with me, in fact Ah was in a hallway. By mahself.

Ah saw writin' on the wall in a small circle on the wall.

Honest and loyal, keep to your bond. Don't lose yourself you both are one in the same.

"What the hayseeds is that supposed ta mean?" I asked.

I felt mahself droppin' down.

I hit the ground, hard. I picked myself up, my left wing hurt but it wasn't broken. I got up and looked around, at least now there was a little light. In front of me stood a marble pillar with and orb that had a red lighning bolt painted on it. I stepped closer. That's when I heard a voice.

"To obtain your Element you must prove your loyalty. Earn your strips back from the clutches of Demise. Take back what he has stolen, it is rightfully yours."

"What?" I said, nothing responded.

Suddenly there was a flash of bright light. I closed my eyes at the sudden shock. When I opened them I saw that I was standing in the middle of a field. An all black stallion stood a few feet away. I trot up to his side and looked at him.

"Up for round two?" the stallion said, it was familiar, but it had an echoing af something else in it. He turned his face to reveal half of it looked melted, the eye was glowing more than the other. His melted side seemed to move around as if it was some type of ooze trapped behind his face. Gross.

"What are you getting out of challenging me again, you already beat me." I told Blitz.

"True," he confirmed, "so let's up the ante, if you can miraculously beat me I'll let you see your friends."

"And if I lose?" I asked.

He laughed, "You become my prisoner forever." A portal opened up revealing a room full of chains and skeletons of different creatures.

"It's been so long since they had company. I would love for you to join them."

I had to do it, for my friends sake I had to find them and help take down Demise.

"Let's do this." I agreed, "Where to?"

He waved a hoof, two hundred kilometers up a cloud morphed red.

"First one there." He said.

"Ready?" I got into position.

"Set?" his multi-voice echoed.

"GO!" I boomed, we both took off.

I was in the lead, I could feel the barrier around me pushing me back, I broke through. BOOM! I shot forwards, so did he. His cosmic force sucked in my rainbow, he was gaining the lead. I felt the dread that if I lost I would be trapped forever, this was definately worse than Ghastly Gorge. This time I didn't have Tank to back me up. I though about the little guy, and all my friends, they'd miss me. I couldn't lose, I shot forward and beat Blitz by a nose. He faded and so did the field. I hovered down to the ground and caught my breath. I looked up, I was in the same room as before. Only the stone orb was gone, I looked around nowhere.

That's when I noticed the necklace. I smiled as I looked at the red bolt of lightning. I'd earned back my Element. HA, now if only I could find my way out. I looked around, I didn't see anymore doors, only big rectangular indent in the wall with a red bolt of lightning on the front. I walked up, nothing no incription no poem nothing. I sighed.

Ah hit the ground with enough force ta knock the tar outta me. I got up an brushed mahself off, Ah looked around at the room. Only source a light was a hole in the ceilin' shinin' on a pillar with an orb on it. the orb had a red apple painted on the front of it. Ah stepped closer to it.

"No lies were told, but secrets were kept. Let truth be said, consoladance for those you hurt. Only then will Demise relinquish that which he has taken." it was some kinda riddle. Ah didn't know what to make of it but Ah heard a familiar voice in the corner.

"Applejack," Ah turned around and saw mah little sis chained up.

"AB, what are you doing here?" Ah asked her.

"I don't know..." she said, "Somethin' told me Ah gotta be here to be told the truth." She said.

She seemed really scared an' confused, Ah sighed. Ah knew what Ah had ta do.

"AB, Ah have ta tell ya somethin'." Ah began, "Ah didn't wanna say this before, 'cuz Ah was afraid ya might get hurt. But now Ah see it hurt ya more not tellin' ya. Ya see AB, Granny Smith is really old, she ain't got much longer ta be in this world with us anymore. She's gunna pass on soon, we just gotta acccept that."

Ah had mah eyes closed the whole time Ah told her, I didn't wanna see the tears run down her pretty little face Ah probably wouldn't be able ta handle it mahself. I opened 'em when Ah felt the little filly wrap her hooves around mah leg. I smiled and put the other around her neck.

"Ah love you Applejack," she said, "An' Ah love Granny too, but theres nothin' Ah can't we Apples cain't get through unless we all have each other right?" she looked up at me her eyes were bigger 'en watermellons.

Ah smiled again, "Eyup." I told her. She whisped away just like that, and once again, Ah was alone. I put mah hoof to mah chest ta make sure I wadn't heartbroken an' got a surprise. Ah looked down ta see a necklace wrapped around mah neck. Looks like tellin' mah sister the truth had gotten me mah Element back. Now all Ah had ta do was find a door and get outta here an' find mah friends. I looked all around, but all Ah found was an indent in the wall with an apple painted on it. How in the hay was Ah gunna get outta here?

We'd found several more doors and made yet another loop around. It seemed that every time we found one they would come together... as if by magic. We'd found all six, I assumed it was only six. Now all six of the doors lay before us. How were we going to open them. Each one said that the doors only opened to their element. Rarites to an act of Genrosity, Rainbows to an act of Loyalty. Applejacks to an act of Honesty. Pinkies to an act of Laughter. Fluttershys to an act of Kindness. And mine to an act of Magic.

"What do we do?" I growled out frustrated.

"Well," Rarity suggested, "If all it takes is an act of our Element, then all I have to de is preform an act of generous behavior." She said.

"But there's nothing you can give anypony." I told her.

"Oh contrare, Twilight, generosity doesn't come only in the form of gifts." she explained, "you can also help a friend in a time of when they fell down." she said.

"But noponies having any problems right now." I said trying to understand what she was getting at.

"Twilight if there is one thing I know from my weekly spa dates with Fluttershy is that I can always tell when she's having problems." she turned her attention on Fluttershy.

"Well darling?" she said, trotting over and putting her hoof around the mares shoulders, "What seems to be troubling you?"

"Well..." Fluttershy whispered, "It's Angel." I could see the tears beginnig to well up now.

"Oh, yes dear I heard about that." Rarity said comfortingly stroking Fluttershy's mane, "Just remember," she whispered into her ear, "Your friends are always here for you ok?" Fluttershy nodded, wiping tears from her eyes.

Suddenly the blue diamong glowed with a light audible ringing sound. The door opened.

"Well girls," Rarity said, "I have a feeling that I'll see you on the other side." she went through the door. She turned around and gave us a smile as it closed behind her.

I turned to Fluttershy, wondering what to do next.

Final Trials

Twilight and I stood in the dark hallway, after Rarity entered her chamber the door shut her in. Twilight looked at me, as if she wanted me to come up with a plan. I wasn't usually the one to plan things out. We looked at the doors, three of the painings had lit up, one of them was Rarity's just after she went in.

"Twilight look," I pointed out, "Rarity went into that room and her painting lit up."

"So." Twilight said confused at first, then she got it, "Oh I see so you think that after somepony goes in then the light goes up?" She asked, I nodded.

Twilight thought for a bit.

"Well than that means that somehow Rainbow and Applejack must have found their way into their rooms." She said, again I nodded.

"Well then Shy," she said, "looks like it's up to you and me again, just an act of kindness and on of magic and were in!"

"No," I told her, she looked at me, "Pinkie is still not in hers." I told her.

She nodded, "You go find her and bring her back here, I'll see if I can open my door." she said. I nodded and set off by myself.

Yes it was very scary, but like times before I had to be brave for my friends. It was dark and creepy, the ecoes echoed through the hallway. Yes it was very frightning times.

I had just entered my chamber, it was a dark room with an orb just like when Twilight had first found the Elements of Harmony. I trod up to the pedestal of which it lay and examined it closely for any detail as to it's activation. All Twilight had was a verse from an old book. I saw it. I read it aloud.

"Though you walk alone, those who walk beside you you push them away. You seek a royal throne, yet lack the ability to se those in front of your way. Recognize the generosity given to you by the heart of those whom love you, and you can open your heart and break the ice that lies you, thuth."

I sat down wondering what ever this poem ment, was it making fun of me. I suddenly heard crying echoing through the room.

"Hello?" I called, "Is somepony there?"

The room lightened, I was on the clouds, I fell down expecting to fall through, but I didn't. The crying continued, only without the ecoing sound. I looked up and looked around, I located the crying sound to my right. The sight of it alone was enough to make me want to join her.

I went over and sat next to my baby sister, listening to her silent sobbing.

"Why do you hate me so much?" she asked, the question was shocking but I answered immidiately.

"No, I don't hate you Sweetie," I told her wrapping her in a hug, "I love you more than anything in the world."

"Then why did you write such terrible things about me." she replied.

"No no no, sweetheart, those weren't bad things you never read past that did you." I asked her.

She shook her head, I repeated the entry I made that day.

Having a sister is very time consuming and arduous. But the reward at the end of each and every day is seeing her face light up. She shines brighter than any other diamond in my collection. She is the one thing in my life that has a continuing inspiration. And although she may not realize it yet, she is becoming a fine dress maker. She continually criticizes her work, she is mortified when I smile. She doesn't realize that even I am constanly never satisfied with my final draft. As an artist you can never stop until the very end of your deadline. Perfection is unachivable in the eyes of any creator. She made me a pair of boots the other day. Though she said the stitching was wrong I loved them anyways, I wore them to an art gala today. Somepony asked if they could ask the designers name, I laughed and told them it was an anonomys gift from somepony who loved me very much. She truly is an amazing dress maker. I love my little sister more than anything in the world.

She cried as she hugged me back, I saw sewing needle and tread appear on her flank.

A tear came to my eye, it was then stripped away. She whisped out of existance as well as the clouds. Once more I was in the dark room, I put a hoof to my chest. I felt the neclace that represented my Element.

A whisper from the air came through, "I love you Rarity."

"I love you too Sweetie Belle"

I climbed stairs, went through hallways and everything. I couldn't find Pinkie, that's when I saw a shimmer down this hallway. I walked down it, it was much like when I saw the image of that had all six of us, the one Twilight said represented the fact that we had been seperated. I walked closer to it, this time the hallway didn't squeeze in, I walked straight up to it. I couldn't make out any words or images, it seemed to be faded and... backwards. I placed a hoof on it. The image rippled, as if it was made of water. I looked closer, I didn't see any reflection, I placed my hoof on it again. I didn't flinch this time I just pushed it through, and then I began to step through I kept going until I was on the other side.

"Hello?" I heard the high pitched voice say, "Is somepony there?" she called.

"Pinkie?" I called. I ran over to her, she was lying down chained.

"What happened Pinkie?" I asked her.

"I don't know, it was probably that meanie, meanie face Demise who chained us up here." she said, although her demeanor was the same I could tell she was still hurt.

"We have to find the others." I told her. She looked at the floor, she was obviously in no mood to be a hero, then again neither was I.

"Listen Pinkie," I told her, "I know it must be hard, being the one who has to cheer everypony up all the time when they get down," I continued after she looked up at me, "it's the same with me, I take care of SO many animals, yet nopony's ever there to just sit down and take care of Fluttershy when she really needs it. That's why I know, when those rare moments come around when you can't put a smile on..." I paused watching the tears well up, "I know it's hard, not having anypony to help YOU smile."

She looked up at me her eyes wide, I smiled back. She hugged me hard, I saw the chain disipate with a pink spark. I heard a snicker from behind me, I glanced back and saw Pinkie holding back laughter.

"What?" I asked curious to know what she found so hilarious.

Now she burst into all out laughter, she pointed at my wings, I looked back to see them fully extended. I looked down sheepishly and burst into laughter with her. She poped her head up suddenly sporting a camoflauge helment and a gille suit.

"Alright!" she shouted, "Were goin' COMANDO on this thing." she said she pulled up a shotgun and cocked it. She put it down and laughed once more, snorting as she trotted off. I followed her showing her the way.

When we finally got back to the doors, thanks to my mental map, I saw that our doors were already open. We must have set them off already. I looked over at Twilights, hers wasn't lit and she was nowhere to be seen. I had to trust she knew what she was doing. We both went into our rooms, the doors shut behind us.

As soon as Fluttershy went off to find Pinkie I tried opening my door, all it took was an act of magic huh? I tried an Universal Masterkey spell, nothing. A levitation spell, still nothing. I was starting to run out of spells, I felt wind blow through the hall. I looked around, we were inside there was no wind here. I felt feint suddenly. I was down.

I was in the middle of the room, I wondered if Pinkie was seeing the same thing. Another dark room with an orb on a single pedastal, just like when we originally found the Elements. I walked up to see it for myself. I noticed a small carving at the base. I read the inscription, Kind and gentel you may be natured, learn to let go and learn to let be free that which you have nurtured.

"Wha..." I wasn't sure I understood, but I found myself on a grassy field. I saw a small white bunny, looking at me angrily and tapping his foot.

"Angel," I said approaching the bunny, "Have you been waiting long?" I said.

He held up a hand to silence me, he looked at me his usually hardened gaze softened, he hopped over and hugged my forehoof. I smiled at the little bunny, he broke away once again looking tough. He looked at me and then over to a bright light at the other end of the field. I looked down at him I felt my eyes begin to water.

He wanted to say goodbye one last time, before he passed over. I bent down and hugged the little bunny, it would be hard without him, but I had done all I could.

"I'll miss you Angel."

He hopped away and into the light, there was a sudden flash and I was back in the dark room. I felt something around my neck, I looked down to see my Element had magically appeared. Soon we would have the final battle with Demise, I could feel it.

While we were going to wherever it was that Fluttershy was leading us I got a knee pinch. That ment something really scary was going to happen. I ignored it and kept going with Fluttershy. There were two open doors, Fluttershy told me to go in the farthest one, so I did. The stone door closed behind me, looks like something scary DID happen. But it wasn't really all that scary in here, in fact it was a little peaceful. There was an orb on a pedastal in the middle that had a light shining down on it. I walked up the staris of it to get a closer look. There was a little writing at the bottom of the pedastal.

When friends are feeling down, you come around. To put a smile on their face, now it's time for the favor to return to it's proper place.

"Huh?"

Suddenly I was in the Cakes' house. I panicked, they didn't want me to be here, I looked around, they weren't here. But I did see Pumpkin and Pound Cake sleeping in a crib. I went over and picked them up, I held both of them in my forehooves as I sat down in a chair. I sat down and began to softly sing to them.

So much joy you've brought to me,

how very happy can one pony be,

we laughed, we played, we have so many memories.

Now I fear it's time to leave,

I may never see the foals I love,

you two have bee the shining light of my days this life.

I finnished with a tear in my eye, I really was afraid I may never get to see them again. I looked at both of them, they looked quietly up at me, smiling. The tear of sadness I had turned into one of joy. It was ok if I never got to see them again, as long as I could remember this one moment in time. I would be ok, I let out a small chuckle as I closed my eyes and smiled to let them know how happy I was.

When I opened my eyes it was dark again, the foals were gone and I was alone in the dark. I felt the neclace that represented my Element of Laugther. I smiled once more knowing that soon we could beat Demise and return to our friends.

I was in a meditory state of trance. I had to olok within myself to find out what was happening, I knew something was amiss here. I was right, as I went down the labrinth of my mind as the Whysp I once was I saw that little purple mare trying to open a door. I went over and knocked her out. I drug her to a confine of my mind I hoped I would never have to use. It was a room that reminded me of my past every day that I was there.

As she awoke she was startled, she got up quickly. She faced her attention to me, I laughed at her.

"What's so funny Demise?" she said simply.

"You are my dear," I told her, "believing you can beat me." I said.

"We CAN, and we WILL!" she said defiantly.

"Oh?" I was interested to hear this, "And prey tell, how does thou plan on defeating the powerful Demise."

"Don't play games with us Demise," she said, "I've been here long enough to see that the stone images are just your memories, your the weakest of your three brothers."

I lashed out and threw fire at her, "How DARE you bring my brothers int this, they never cared to share ANY power with me, even on the edge of death. All they ever did was laugh and kill meals in front of me. Which is why Demise will rule this land with an iron claw."

"No you won't Demise." she said.

"Why is that?" I asked her.

"Because right now my friends are gathering the Elements to beat you." she said.

I laughed again, "I think it's time for a little story little one, for you see. If you defeat me one who is even more powerful than I will rise."

Demise to Sin

"Let Demise tell you the story of how the Wyspers came to be, little one. This is the story you will not find in any book of yours"

This is the story of when Galactica and Univera created the worlds. There was nothing to bear the responsibility of caring for the Earth. They created three brothers to rule the land. As we treked the world we grew board of these little creatures. Twas my brother Sin who first fed on the creatures, he prefered to gorge himself on the equines overindulgence, he found it gave him power, next was Hate. He prefered to feed on the rift between grudges and disagreements. The two seemed to begin to seek out and even cause such things. Soon it became known among them that two devils were causing destruction in their races. I did not play roles in their games. To me it seemed wrong, but hunger soon overcame my inhebitions, I grew ever weaker.

Eventually the lands were baren from my brothers growing conumption of the land, Galactica and Univera had to put a stop to their tyranous reign. They two gods decended upon the earth, the first one they met was me, I was scrounging around for the bare minimal of sustinance. I did not wish harm to their creations, I only wished mearly to survive. But they dud not heed my pleas, instead they banished me within the dimensional rift. I do not know what became of my brothers. I was in the rift for so long I couldn't keep track of time, I had overheard a prophecy that the gods had parished. Leaving behind only their two daugters. They had battled with my eldest brother Sin for five thousand years, eventually dying at his hands, yet had somehow sealed him away.

Now the prophecy told that one day, the portal back to my old home would open, and I would have this world all my own. Nothing to stand in my way.

"So you see little one, those memories you saw of me being the weakest are no more. I am the Enitite of this world now! I am your god." I told the little pony transforming into my Entite form.

"There is only one thing that can stop you." she said, "The Elements of Harmony."

I laughed, "They would not work once they will not work again, I make my leave of such an inferior opponent." I began to leave my mind, "you will stay here forever little one, within the confines of my mind. Your people are now my slaves, I will feed on them until there is no happiness left. I will show them the same mercy Univera showed me six millenia ago."

I watched as Demise faded, so we were inside his mind. Now all I had to do was find a way out. I looked around, so many paintings, all around the room. Was this the mainframe of his memories? If so it may shed a little more light on how to get out. I went to the one directly in front of me. It was a circle with five mares around one circular room, each one had a different symbol in its picture. They were my friends, and in the middle it was... me? I was in a circular room just like right now, were they also in their own rooms, had they already made it to their elements.

"Indeed it is true, your friends are all around you. Their Elements obtained, the final battle they await." the same voice as before spoke.

"Who are you?" I shouted.

A light puple light wisped and distorted the area in front of me.

"I am the goddess Univera" the purple aura said. I could just make out the face of the alicorn.

"While it is true that I may have been brash with the Entite so long ago, they had to all be destroyed. They were not following the duties we had bestowed them. Had we only created Demise, maybe he only would have fed a small amount from each sustaining the balance we intended." she said.

"But why?" I asked, "Why create such creatures of such terrible destruction?"

"Little one you must understand, pain and suffering in moderate instances is how we learn and grow. Galactica and I could not balance the worlds we have created by ourselves, our intntion was that the three would rule and balance the happiness with the sad times that must insue. Creating the world of advancement, instead they took their own measures. We had to take them out, alas they have returned. They were too powerful for us to handel, it is up to you and your friends to take these creatures down."

"How I don't even know where they are, or even my own Element." I told her begining to loose hope.

"Little one listen, the Elements are ready when all are collected, your friends have all gotten theirs." She told me.

"Yes Demise fed on them and stole their Elements then we came here to get them bac-" I stopped, That's when I figured it out. I looked up at the godess horse, "Demise fed and stole the Elements, but he never fed on me so-"

"It's been there all along." She finnished.

I looked up to see the familiar Tiara on top of my head.

The glow from the aura began to fade, "Go now little one you and your friends defeat Demise."

The room faded, we were back at Applejacks farm I looked around and saw the tree's burning. But I also saw my friends, they noticed each other too. We all ran in for a group hug.

"Oh I missed you all so so much!" Pinkie went on.

"It's time girls, we have to get ready to face Demise," I told them, "but I have to tell you all something."

They all looked at me, I sighed then took a breath, "After we defeat Demise we have to face one more Entite." I told them, they all gasped.

"He's said to be even more powerful than the other two, MUCH more." I put alot of emphasis on 'much'.

"It took the creators of the universe five thousand years to beat him, I just have to warn you."

"FIVE THOUSAND YEARS!" Rainbow boomed, "How the hay are we gunna beat something it took the creators of the universe FIVE THOUSAND years to beat in whatever time it takes that we have to live, according to you we BARLY made it past Hate!"

"I know Rainbow, but we have to be prepared." I told them.

She huffed, "Listen girls, I know it'll be hard, maybe after we beat this we can ask Celestia if she has anything that can help us."

They all nodded, suddenly the earth began to shake, a fissure opened up and our old nemise rose from it. He towered over us.

"Well well well, it looks like you escaped." he said, "well just have to finnish you"

"NOW GIRLS!" we all shot out Elements at him, he screamed with pain, this time he shrank down.

A rift opened up and began pulling him in. He grabbed the edges of it, the magic still pouding him.

"I may fall today, but there will rise one more who will destroy this land worse that even I or Hate." He disintigrated with his final words spoken and the rift closed.

We all looked at each other and laughed, it was over, Demise was gone. All that was left was Sin, for now we could relax.

I watched as the six defeated my brother, I lauged once more. It was my time now, time to bring Sin back to Equestira. I felt my chains break as I was realeased, the lives of my brothers were the only thing keeping me here. Univera and Galacica were only able to imprison me, they could not defeat me and now their kin would face my wrath. I laughed once more, it was time to make my ascent to this world, MY NEW THRONE!

End of Demise

The Elements... Useless?

"What in Equestria is goin' on here?" Applejack said confused.

"Girls it's time for me to tell you sonething important," I told them, they gathered around to listen I sighed as I began, "We've fought something like this before." They all gasped but let me continue, "Only Fluttershy and I remember what happened." I told them, how Parydan, the Stallion of time came from nowhere killed Princess Celestia, how she used her magic to protect Fluttershy for 25 years. In that time there was travesties that made all of them go insane. How the only thing that kept me grounded was building Fluttershy an aparatus body to host.

I told them that after I revived her we fought off Parydan. Both Fluttershy and I had recived a vision from Parydan of how he became the way he was. As it turned out he was actually two stallions, who were twins fused into the same body by the Entite Hate. They reversed time with their combined powers but the only two who retained memory was apparently myself and Fluttershy.

"Now that you all are caught up you know that we have to defeat Demise or we'll go through the 25 years of a dystopian future just like before." I finnished.

"Wait," Spike said, "I DIED?"

He seemed to be a little confused, "So did Princess Celestia, but Parydan and Equin reversed everthing that happened."

Rarity held him close, it was a tender moment but we really didn't have time for that.

"Applejack, you need to get your Element so we can find Fluttershy and beat Demise."

Applejack nodded. Suddenly we heard a swooshing from the sky, it looked like Fluttershy. Her mane was black, he coat was a pale white, and her eyes glowed red and were filled with anger.

"Fluttershy?" I looked at her with questioning eyes.

She smiled slightly, the eyes faded and her coat and mane returned to their normal color. A gigantic beast with pale albino flesh and glowing red eyes. It's claws gripped Fluttershy's limp body and threw it at us. Rainbow Dash caught her midair.

"She's ok." she updated, "Unconcious but still alive!"

"Your land is mine and I shall rule it, not a chance you have and I will prove it." He rhymed.

"Oh yea?" AJ questioned, "An' howizat?"

He laughed quietly, "By suns set I will destroy this land, three hours you have to lift the curse of my hand. And if by then you cannot surprise, you shall all fall to the great power of Demise."

He smiled his jagged toothy grin. A strange blue liquid dripped from his massive fangs. He wisped away as if he was made of smoke blown in the wind.

We stared down at the body of Fluttershy, her breath was shallow. Once again the Entites had injured her, this time at least she was not taken. We had a chance, the Elements would take him out just like they did to Hate.

As soon as Fluttershy woke up we went to retrieve her Element. As we retrieved to we all looked at each other unsure of what to do now. We had half an hour until sundown.

"So what now?" Rainbow was the first to say it.

"Well," Fluttershy whispered, we all turned our attention to her, "when I found out that Rainbow had betrayed us for Parydan, I threw a slumber party the day before she had said she was planning her attack. It was so that in case we never got to see each other again we would at least have our good memories be the last ones."

We all looked at her, I smiled at her idea. It was true, if somehow the Elements of Harmony failed and we all died in this battle, at least we would die with our last memory being of happy times.

We gathered in a circle and told stories and jokes just like before. We laughed, played wrestled, even Pinkie seemed to lossen up and laugh. Suddenly our attention was turned to the setting sun. We watched as it sank behind the horizon, it seemed to freeze. As if Celestia was telling us 'prepare youselves'.

Demise erupted from the earth from a fissure. We prepared our elements. He smashed the buildings around leaving the crumbling mass around us.

"It is time for your end filthy eqine," he said, "Let this be quick I wish to extend my rule until the end of time."

As we launched our only attack we watched as he screamed.

As the smoke cleared we saw Demise standing tall, he laughed. He raised a single hand and as it came down I felt the hopless feeling of having lost everything.

Everything was dark, everything was spinning. I opened my eyes, at first it was white, bright light. Then eveything was dark, staircases everywhere. They were everywhere, upside down, it didn't make sense.

"Where am I." my voice echoed through the halls.

Something echoed back, a strange voice that I had never heard before.

"You have one last chance of defeating Demise, you all must find each other without loosing yourself. Defeat the heart that beats within. Retrieve your Element that Demise has stolen. And take him within out from himself."

"What does that mean?" I asked, no response.

I began to walk through the darkness. I had no idea where I was going or what was going to happen, but if I had a chance I had to use it to my advantage.

It was strange, I had destroyed them hadn't I. Where were the bodies, the blood. Nothing. I may not have known where they went, somthing had flashed under my hand before the impact but it couldn't have been anything. I turned to the rest of the town. I smiled at the terrified citizens, it was time to kill them all. One red one looked up at me defiantly, I would start with him, to strike fear in the hearts of the rest.
