Twilight had been set up for a date with a well respected knight from Trottinghem, named Sir Star Shield. Twilight was never interested in dating. Though she had no choice this time, her mentor and her mentors' sister insisted on it, before eventually ordering Twilight to meet up with the suitor they had found. Twilight protested but failed to get her way. Though she was also a princess, she was the youngest of the group, so she had little, or any power over what her mentor told her to do. The date had been going no where, all this knight did; was talk about his exploits and eat a mountain of food. Whenever Twilight would attempt to make a conversation, he would ignore her and continue speaking about himself. The night had not gotten better for Twilight, she only became more agitated as the night progressed, she couldn't wait till this night was over. But unfortunately for Twilight, Luna had planned to make the night drag on. She even assisted her to help things go smoothly, she was playing wing girl. Luna had created the most beautiful and most romantic night she had ever made. Luna had built a love heart in the sky out of pink stars, with a women and a man embracing each other in a passionate kiss, surrounded by a love heart. It was not just Luna helping her out, it was also Rarity, Apple Jack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Spike, and Pinkie Pie. Rarity had mentioned the best restaurant in Canterlot, and provided the most beautiful gown for her date. Apple Jack had made Twilight a sweet smelling perfume, made from Rose extract and Apples, giving her a lightly sweet fragrance with a floral undertone. Rainbow Dash was at the ready with Spike, who would receive a message from Celestia to make it rain cherry blossom petals around the two, when they made it back to Twilights castle to set the scene for a romantic kiss. Fluttershy had organised an orchestra to serenade the two as they ate. Rarity not only provided the dress, but redecorated her room and made her some sexy lingerie to set the scene, if Twilight invited her man into her room. Pinky pie had made contact with Vinyl Scratch to make a mood CD for Twilight and her man. The whole plan was orchestrated by Celestia, to make her old pupil the finest date she would of ever had, so she told Twilights friends, she actually plotted this to embarrass Twilight. Even though Celestias' true reason was to make Twilight uncomfortable, she hoped that her pupil would find that special somebody, that she could wake up beside, and live her life in happiness. To counteract the loneliness she would feel when her friends succumb to the curse of time, whilst Twilight never aged, and had to watch each one of her friends pass. As the would be couple left the restaurant, Twilight was briskly walking back to her castle to rid her self of this beautiful, yet utter failure of a night. Twilight would go home, go to bed, wake up in the morning, head to Canterlot, and rage at her, so called match makers. 4 Hours earlier that day... “I don't want to find somebody!” Twilight protested “I'm happy being alone!” Twilight stamped her foot for emphasis. “Twilight my faithful student.” Celestia stated motherly “I want you to find somebody, not end up alone in the future, Star Shield is a lovely and well respected knight in Trottinghem, you will like him. He is smart, Brave, Strong, and honourable.” Celestia smiled gingerly. “I don't care, I have never met this boy before.” Twilight protested once more. “Besides Twilight, you will enjoy yourself I know what dreams you've been having. You need a good 7 inches.” Luna grinned cheekily. “YOU WATCH MY DREAMS!” Twilight stated, becoming very flushed and embarrassed. “Why yes Twilight tis my job, to look after the people in the night, including their dreams. Especially you and your friends. Twilight, ever since the Tantabus, I have paid close attention to you and your friends, for fear the Tantabus will return.” Luna stated as if were common knowledge. “Its still an invasion of privacy.” Twilight stated embarrassed. “Anyway I don't care what I need, I don't want somebody, I have no time to wast on dating! Just look at all of the friendship problems that have occurred, and what about my student Starlight Glimmer? How am I going to teach her about friendship, if I am gallivanting around with boys?” Twilight reasoned. “During the day you teach, but I know you have time during the night Twilight no body sneezes around here without me noticing, you're not working at night.” Celestia refuted. “Not to mention Twilight, my sister still taught you while she, as you say 'was gallivanting around with boys'.” Luna mentioned as a sly grin formed. “LUNA!” Celestia stated as she began to blush “Oh yes Twilight, my sister would have up to five partners at once.” Luna continued to draw out her sisters embarrassment. “THAT'S AN OVER EXAGGERATION, IT WAS ONLY THAT ONE TIME! And it wa-*Cough* I mean Twilight you will enjoy yourself, trust me, have I ever led you astray?” Celestia said as she tried to shift the topic away from herself, and back to Twilight. “Oh Celestia, who would of thought. So how many was it Luna?” Twilight stated, enjoying the fact that her mentor was turning bright crimson. “Well it- Twilight it does not matter you are going to go on this date, and you cannot say, or do anything, to stop that from happening. You may leave to get ready for your night.” Celestia cut off Luna before she could say anymore. “While I have a little chat with my sister.” Celestia growled at her sister. Who just laughed at her sisters indignation. “Bu-Twilight get ready.” Celestia stated in a strange tone, between embarrassment and frustration. Before teleporting Twilight to her castle. “WHY DO I EVEN BOTHER!” Twilight screamed to herself. For the first time, Twilight felt powerless, and more nervous then she had ever been before. But like the good student she was, she did as she was told. Chapter 1 Love & Regret (Reworked)Present Time... As Twilight woke up in the morning, she was still seething at what she was put through last night. That man had been the worst guy she'd met. “Honourable, respected, PFFT yeah right!” Twilight thought to herself, as she stormed down her winding stare case in her castle. Twilight made her way to the door to her castle and much to her surprise, when she opened the door it was Celestia and Luna smiling at her. “Hello Twilight, how was he.” Celestia inquired, generally interested in her students night. “Was he well endowed?” Luna added cheekily, earning an annoyed glare from Celestia. “Let me see, how was that dreamy knight you set me up with.” Twilight started sarcastically “HE WAS TERRIBLE, I WOULD OF RATHER FACED ETERNAL TORMENT IN TARTARUS, THEN GO ON THAT POINTLESS DATE, WITH SUCH A NARCISSISTIC, EGOTISTICAL, SHINNING ARMOUR, WANNABE.” Twilights voice boomed filled with venom, as her hair turned fiery red, her skin colour started to glow fiery white, and her eyes changed from purple to red. “Twilight, I'm so sorry, I set you up with such a man.” Celestia tried to say straight faced, holding back a chuckle at her old students temper, which she had not seen since Twilight was not a princess and found out how strange, unexplainable, and alien Pinkie sense was. “Did you at least let him ravish you, Twilight?” Luna inquired. “NO! AND EVEN IF HE DID, WHY WOULD I TELL YOU!” Twilight replied both embarrassed and angry. Luna laughed at Twilights reaction. “Oh well I guess the next suitor we have for you will be the lucky person, to have the honour of popping the cherry of a princess.” Luna said with a grin, waiting for Twilights second explosion of anger. “WHAT!? YOU HAVE ORGANISED ANOTHER DATE FOR ME! YOU KNEW THAT HE AND I WERE NOT COMPATIBLE!” Twilight shouted, using the royal Canterlot voice she did not know she could use. “Why yes Twilight, other then me knowing everything that happens under my nose, I had hoped he was compatible. Though as I watched your date unfold, I knew you weren’t. Besides Luna picked this one out, just for you. He is a young prince named Zephyr he's a handsome prince too, and known throughout his country, as the kind hearted prince.” “I also took the time to ask him what his endowment was, it's exactly the same length and girth as in your dream, Twilight. He's kind, well hung, and definitely prince charming.” Luna added with a proud tone. “THEN WHY DON'T YOU DATE HIM!?” Twilight shouted embarrassed, then a devious plan entered her mind. “Why don't you date him? You're a genius Twilight!” She thought before replying to Celestia and Luna in a calmer tone, returning to her normal dishevelled self. “Actually he does sound pretty interesting.” Twilight purred cunningly. “Twilight are you feeling alright.” Luna asked, perplexed with Twilights new attitude. “Oh yes Luna, I'm perfectly fine.” Twilight purred slyly “Okay… Twilight are you sure your alright?” Luna inquired again. “Yes Luna, I'm fine I better start making preparations for my re-date. You better go and tend to your duties, you are very busy princesses, and I have to contact rarity to make a new dress for me.” Twilight stated unnervingly Calm, before shutting the door. Luna and Celestia were slightly on edge with Twilights new tone. She was unlike this normally she had been easily stressed, with unfamiliar circumstances, but this time she was different. She was calm. Luna and Celestia were perplexed, as they made their way back to Canterlot. “What was that all about?” Luna asked Celestia. “I think she is finally opening up to the thought of finding a mate to be with, maybe she finally figured out the reason we want her to be in a Relationship. I may have taught Twilight, but unfortunately I don't know what she is thinking.” Celestia Reasoned to herself, while replying to Luna. “She wouldn't be plotting revenge, would she?” Luna replied with another question. “Twilight, Devious? Never, it's not in her personality. She has always respected us, and followed our instruction.” Celestia replied with disbelief, she knew her student well, she thought of her like a daughter she never had. Celestia would easily fight an army of demons to save her if she needed saving, and if Twilight were to be hurt. She would vow to kill the creature that did it. Considering the fact that when she heard of Twilight and her friends being attacked by a cockatrice, she was so enraged, she wanted to burn the entire Everfree down. Decimating everything in it. “yeah, I guess your right, Tia. Twilight would never be so cynical.” Luna reasoned to herself. However what the two sisters failed to realise, was that Twilight had been planning to do that exact thing. She had written a letter to Cadence and Shinning Armour, asking them to visit her. After she had sent the letter off, she started busying herself with getting ready. Twilight had contacted Rarity and Apple Jack, to help her to get ready for a date, with a prince, who was to arrive at 6:00pm, whisking her off to a romantic setting, where they would enjoy food and drink befit for kings and queens. As the time struck 6, he was there with military precision, not a second, nor even a milli second late. A knock reached Twilights ears, and as she opened the door, she saw a stunning man with confident golden eyes, which Twilight could not help, but lose herself in. He had a fare skin tone, honey blond hair, and a chiselled jaw line. Twilight could only sum him up in one word, dreamy. Luna was not wrong he was definitely Handsome. Twilight felt comfortable around him, and she admired his timing and organisation skills. This comfort around a man was a strange feeling to Twilight, but she welcomed it. While Twilight was lost in admiration of this charming and handsome man. He bent down and kissed her hand gingerly, then bowed before her, with the utmost respect. “You must be Twilight. Its a pleasure to make your acquaintance.” Zephyr stated respectfully. “Th… a… t is… ah… me...” Twilight struggled to say, overcome with nerves, trying her hardest to hide her flushed cheeks. “Good on you Twilight, he is your type and you just made a fool of yourself, good job.” Twilight chastised to herself, in an undertone. As the two left, Twilight actually looked forward to the night she would spend with this handsome prince. When they made it to the place they were going to have tea, he got out first, handed her his hand, helped her out of the carriage, and led her to the table, where he seated her down gently, polished her knife and fork, before ordering. The date was going well, and Twilight began to like him a lot. She was already planning the next date with him, she was still lost in his gaze, and she had become very comfortable talking with him. “Zephyr, what is your country like?” Twilight Inquired. “Well Twilight, its a lovely place full of beautiful forests, beaches, and waterfalls. You will have to come with me sometime, I'll show you around.” Zephyr Replied Zephyr had been enjoying the company of Twilight, he really liked her, he could not resist her brilliant amethyst coloured eyes, her pleasant smile and the spark of confidence about her. He could of spent the whole night talking to her, she was so interesting, so full of knowledge, so organised and polite. Twilight was better then all of his previous suitors. Especially that girl named sapphire sky. “How about tomorrow, I visit your country?” Twilight stated “What are you doing Twilight, why did you just say you wanted to go with him back to his country.” Twilight thought to herself. “Tha- Zephyr I found you.” Another females voice shot through Zephyrs reply. “Not her, anyone but her.” Zephyr thought to himself, fearfully. Zephyr hesitated before he turned around. His heart skipped, and his face turned pale, as if saw ghost. “Sapphire, what are you doing here!?” Zephyr shouted, shocked. “to collect you my...” Sapphire trailed off. “Who is she.” Sapphire spat,. “I happen to be his date, and you are?” Twilight stated, slightly perturbed at the sudden intrusion. “I happen, to be his Girlfriend!” Sapphire stated with venom, glaring murderously at Twilight. “Oh really?” Twilight replied, shooting daggers at Zephyr. “Well this is just great, I have been busted.” Zephyr thought to himself, as he tried to sneak out of the establishment, but was halted by a magenta aura surrounding him. "Where exactly, do you think you are going. Is she telling me the truth." Twilight chastised, she wanted answers. "You see the thing is we're kinda together still" Zephyr anxiously stated, "I cant believe you, you were nothing like I expected, I should of known it was too good to be true." Twilight stated to no one in particular. before she dropped Zephyr with a satisfying thud, and walked out. Chapter 4 Love & Scorn (Reworked)the two sisters continued their search for Twilights' new suitor. They had found many, but none really stuck out to the two sisters, however Celestia saw something she was not expecting to see. She saw a rather embarrassing picture of herself, on a website called universal dating for loners. Celestias' picture had been of her drunk, wearing skimpy fish net stockings, with a way too short black leather one piece skirt, revealing her fare back, leaving very little to the imagination, and her cleavage for the world to see. “LUNA!” Celestia Cried. “OH MY GOSH Celestia! who set that up?” Luna started, attempting not to laugh. “and heh heh... secondly where did you get that outfit.” Luna continued awkwardly, admiring her sisters strange, and out of character outfit. “Oh don't play dumb, you did this.” Celestia said, as a flush of embarrassment rose to her cheeks. “I did no such thing Tia.” Luna replied slightly envious of who actually did it. “No we did that.” three voices stated in unison. The two sisters turned from the computer screen, and saw Twilight, Shining, and Cadence, standing at the entrance to the room. “What! When! How!” Celestia replied, in utter surprise. “How did you get that picture.” Luna added curiously. “I don't take the credit for that, that credit goes to my lovely sister in law.” Twilight modestly replied. “You must teach me Cadence.” Luna said slyly, earning a burning glare from Celestia. “Well now that you know who put you on display, it's time I tell you, that you have a double date to prepare for.” Twilight said facetiously. “they will be here soon, so you best get ready.” “Twilight I respectfully refuse, I am perfectly fine with being alone.” Celestia replied diplomatically, expecting Twilight to understand, and call off the date. “Celestia, you taught me far to well in politics. According to your law, anyone who is a part of royalty, cannot refuse to have an audience with the person requesting an audience. Which is you, Miss Princess of Equestria.” Twilight stated knowingly. Celestia sighed. “Who are we meeting Twilight?” Celestia stated, as she started to notice the flaws in her plan. “You will love the two guys I found you. After all, I have done research.” Twilight stated as she revealed two diaries. “HOW DID YOU GET THOSE!” Both Luna and Celestia stated, feeling violated by the student they thought so highly of. “Oh I just found them lying around.” Twilight stated nonchalantly, as a guard entered the room. “Princess Twilight, the two people you were expecting, are here.” The guard stated respectfully. “Thank you, bring them in.” Twilight replied, eagerly waiting for the reaction of her mentor. “Yes ma'am.” The guard replied, ushering Twilights' guests into the room. “I am sure you know these two, but I'll introduce you to them anyway.” Twilight started, before clearing her throat “We have King Sombra for Luna, and Discord for Celestia.” Twilight stated with a sly grin. After Twilight finished her introduction, she heard another guard enter the room. “Celestia your guest has arrived.” The guard said. “I wonder who that could be.” Celestia Smiled inwardly. Earning a suspicious glare from Twilight. “let my guest in.” Celestia stated in short. “Yes ma'am.” The guard replied. Twilights jaw dropped as Celestias guest came into the room. “How did Celestia know, did she take my...” Twilight thought to herself as she realised what had happened to her diary. “Lose something.” Celestia stated tauntingly. “What, How? Then you know about my...” Twilight trailed off, nervously biting her lip, trembling slightly. “We both do.” Celestia and Luna said, at the exact same time. “When?” Twilight squeaked. “That is our secret.” Celestia replied. “Ah... Twily is there something you want to tell me?” Shinning added confusedly. "Oh my Twilight.” Cadence chimed in, just as surprised as her husband was. “I can explain everything.” Twilight said, feeling trapped between a rock and a hard place. “How long has it been this way Twily? Does mum and dad know?” Shinning said completely shell shocked at the revelation. “No, they don't, it has been this way for a long time. I had been hiding it in my diary, that never left my side, until now.” Twilight stated, flustered. “Twilight there is one thing you must remember, you can never outwit your teacher.” Celestia stated cheekily. “Damn it. That's what I get for not thinking this plan through.” Twilight chastised herself. “You tried, and that's all I ask of my students.” Celestia commented, proud of her counter strategy. Twilight heard the comment, and felt foalish. “Hi ya Twi.” A cyan skin toned girl, with rainbow coloured hair said, wearing a blue T-shirt with a rainbow coloured lightning bolt printed on it. “Hi Rainbow Dash.” Twilight replied embarrassed. “Where are we going tonight.” Rainbow Dash replied. “Don't worry Twilight, I will help you with this one. After all I am the princess of love, and I think you and Rainbow, would make quite the cute couple. You are both highly compatible with each other.” Cadence replied for Twilight, relaxing from the sudden revelation. “Now you three have to get ready for your dates. I'll entertain the boys and girl, why you three freshen up.” Cadence concluded, excited about helping her sister in law, and her aunts find partners. Soon after she ushered Twilight, Celestia, and Luna off. She magicked a drawing board to her, and requested her husband to get some refreshments for the guests. After Twilight, Celestia, and Luna finished in the shower they donned there best dresses. However Twilight did not have a dress, nor did she have the time to get one, because of this Celestia had generously given Twilight one of her older, yet still pretty dresses to wear for the night. At first it was to long on her, but with a bit of magic, she tailored the dress to her size, though it matched her size now, she still thought it was far to outdated. So Twilight created a spell on the fly, and redesigned her dress into a modern cocktail dress. The dress was a sleeveless black dress, cut just above the knees, fitting her figure tightly, with a thin sash starting from her upper arm, just below her shoulder, revealing the top side of her right breast, spreading to the right side of her chest, then winding back to the left side of her chest, covering her cleavage in the process, creating a Z like shape exposing her stomach, but connecting to the base of the dress, via the back of the dress. The three girls, made there way from the bath room, heading to the foyer, where the boys were now waiting. While the girls took their time to get ready; RD had been chilling on one of the seats that were about in the castle, relaxed and confident as always, Discord had been thinking of how many ways he could make this date fun, and Sombra was trying to figure out what he would say to Luna they had not been together for over a thousand years, not to mention he also tried to force her and her sister into submission twice. thankfully the evil amulet had been destroyed when he was defeated by Twilight and Spike, and for that reason he held no resentment towards her she had freed him from the shackles of dark magic. Sombra had been locked in disbelief, that someone even had a crush on him in the first place. He was struggling against his mixed emotions about this whole ordeal. He was warring against regret for treating Luna and Celestia the way he did, the uncertainty about whether this was a ploy for revenge, and the confusion about Cadence; why was she helping him in the first place, no one had showed him such kindness before. All the more surprising was the nature of their relationship, he was her sworn enemy, yet she still helped, showing kindness towards him. 1 Day earlier, somewhere in the Crystal Empire… Twilight had written Sombra a letter pretending to be Luna, requesting him to meet her for a date. In the letter it described how Luna had wanted to date him for many years, pre-dating all the way back to her high school years. When Sombra read it, he found it absurd. After all, the reason he enslaved the Crystal Empire was because he wanted to make them pay for the way they treated him. By taking over Equestria, he would finally be recognised, which was the only thing he wanted, just to be noticed by somebody, to have a friend. However they just ignored him, or ran in fear. so he decided to give them what they wanted, fear. He became the most fearful dark wizard of all time. He knew he would go down in history, although it was for the wrong reasons, he didn’t care. He would finally be recognised. It had become his driving force all these years, but this letter brought back a glimpse of his old personality; charming, polite, kind, and gentle, he felt a warm feeling buried in the deepest of places of his heart, ignite once again. Sombra soon realised that this feeling was the feeling of love. He remembered back to when he would see Luna walk passed him, with a kind smile upon her face. He would feel butterflies fly around in his chest, every time she was near. Though he was always to shy to even say two words to her, he would always shy away, or hide behind a book. Sombra decided after realising the way he felt, that he would not shy away again, and instead agree to meet up with Luna. Present Time… As Twilight and the two sisters made it down the stares leading to the foyer, Rainbow Dash Gasped in surprise, as she noticed how sexy Twilight looked in her dress. She had to blink twice to make sure she was not dreaming, or hallucinating. “Wow Twi, you look amazing. Here I am wearing a standered T-shirt.” Rainbow Dash stated, suddenly self conscious of what she was wearing. Twilight blushed “You look pretty too.” Twilight replied coyly. “Awwww, how cute you two are.” Cadence Commented, Earning a blush from both Twilight and RD. Discord looked at Celestias' choice of dress, and felt instantly bored. Celestia was wearing a modest beige full length dress, with little flowers skirting the base of the dress. “Well no surprise there…” Discord rolled his eyes. “let's make thing's more interesting.” Discord stated as he clicked his fingers. As he did Celestias' clothing suddenly changed to the same skimpy outfit, she wore in her profile picture on the website. “much better.” Discord chuckled. “Discord!” Celestia said, as a fresh wave of embarrassment presented itself, as Celestia changed her clothing back to the way it was. “I love it when you get embarrassed.” Discord stated, playfully. Luna and Sombra were awkwardly silent, they did not know what to say to each other. This was because Luna and Sombra had never been on a date before, this was a first for them both. Cadence chuckled lightly at her aunts first reaction to dating. She was reminded of the time she first met Shining. Cadence remembered it, like it was yesterday. Flash Back… She remembered never missing any of Shining Armour's football games, hiding behind the audience stand, in the darkness, silently cheering him on. It was her eldest aunt, who encouraged her to talk to her prince in Shinning Armour. At first it was awkward, she would stumble over herself, feeling foolish at times, but she knew Shining thought it was cute. After she became more comfortable around him, Shinning asked her out on a date, where she wore a pretty dress, that Celestia had kept aside for her. Cadences Dress was a lovely rose pink colour, with a v shaped neck line that was cut just after the knees, with little frills edging the base of the dress. She also wore a love heart shaped turquoise necklace, her light purple, mauve, and white, hair sittting naturally, flowing gently down her side, slightly swooping across her brow. She remembered Shinnings' reaction as she opened the door. He had been completely awe struck by her beauty unable to word the simplest of sentences. Cadence blushed as she took his outstretched hand. He led her to his car, where they drove to the movie theatre. She remembered the date they went on quite fondly; they had seen love at first sight, had a nice meal at a 5 star restaurant, completely paid for by Celestia. Then they walked hand in hand on the beach, before settling down on the beach, watching the stars and the moon pass them by, as the sound of gentle waves breaking along the shore line lightly sounded in the backround. Cadence snuggled into Shinning Armours' chest, listening to the beat of his heart, completely content. The couple had stayed there locked in a comfortable embrace with each other, watching the moon set behind the waters horizon, where she received her first kiss, before going back home to relive the night in her dreams. Present time… After Cadence returned from her walk down memory lane, she told the couples where their dates would be held. Cadence was good at what she did, she adapted the scene for each individual couple, so that they would get the most out of their dates. Twilight and RD, were going to have a picnic on the viewpoint of a mountain, over looking Equestrias' numerous cities. Cadence set this date up for Twilight, because she knew that she'd enjoy being bathed in starlight overlooking a stunning view of Equestria, with nothing around them, just two people having a nice and quiet picnic. Cadence also knew that something special would be happening tonight. Luna and Sombra, were going to have dinner together before playing lazer tag, then going to see a movie afterwards. Cadence organised this because she knew that both Sombra and Luna were gamers, and loved watching movies. Celestia and Discord, were going for a moonlit walk along the beach, where they'd eat fish and chips. Cadence organised this date for two reasons; the first was to keep discord out of trouble, and secondly Celestia was much lower maintenance then everyone expected her to be, she enjoyed the simple things, like Twilight did. Cadence smiled, as she watched the three couples leave with there respectable partners. After they left, Shinning and Cadence started to talk about how they met, reminiscing about the past, and what they should do in the future. Chapter 6 Love & RomanceAs Twilight and Rainbow Dash had made it to the mountain view point, it was truly a sight to behold, Equestria showed its' true beauty on this mountain. All of the buildings and houses resembled gemstones glittering under the starlight, a pleasant breeze had been blowing on this mountain, it was not cold, but crisp and gentle, carrying the sweet smell of pine trees from the Everfree nearby. The night was perfectly clear, the stars were like gems in a vast darkening ocean, the moon had been full, providing just enough light to see clearly. Rainbow dash had set up the red and white chequered picnic blanket, before sneaking up to Twilight, and pecking her on the cheek. Twilight turned with a start after Rainbow Dashs' lips left her cheek. Twilight noticed that Rainbow Dash had a shy expression, and a blush masking her cheeks. Twilight Smiled. “Rainbow Dash, this is so unlike you?” Twilight stated, as she remembered the fading warmth on her face, from her gentle lips. “Don't you like it I-I can stop being so emotional if you'd like? I-I just feel like I can be myself around you.” RD said, nervously fidgeting with her hands. “No Rainbow... I was wondering why you stopped?” Twilight asked blushing slightly. “Come and join me Dashy.” Twilight beckoned with her hand. Rainbow joined Twilight on the viewing balcony, on the mountain. Twilight pretended to shiver from a cold breeze, though it was not cold but Twilight wanted to get closer to Rainbow Dash, so she subtly gave her the hint. Rainbow Dash wrapped a wing around Twilight, pulling her close. “Is that better, Twi.” “Yes, thank you Dashy,” Twilight replied, snuggling into Rainbow Dashs' embrace. Soon after a brief embrace, the two girls decided to eat what they had been given to take with them. They had Cucumber sandwiches, and a bottle of fine wine, Cadence gave to them. It was from the Crystal Empires best vineyard. It had a sweet and fragrant aroma, with a lovely golden colour from white frost grapes and honey only native to the Crystal Empire. Twilight took a sip of the wine, and her taste buds danced with elation. The wine started off very mellow, then suddenly became sweet and refreshing. To her amazement, the wine was ice cold despite being carried all the way from the Crystal Empire. She made a mental note to research how this was possible, later. Twilight sighed with contentment, as she let the euphoria of the night wash over her. She was happy that her secret crush had been made known to Rainbow Dash, she wanted to tell her sooner. But she was afraid that if she did she'd loose her friends, if the girls, or even if she just told Rainbow Dash, that she liked both boys and girls. However, there was something magical about Rainbow Dash. When she would look at her, she felt her heart flutter, and she would become nervous. While the night progressed, and the two girls enjoyed each others company. Cadences secret surprise showed itself. The sky lit up with a million little flashes shooting through the sky, making it sparkle ever so brightly. Twilight and Rainbow Dash were lost in awe at the sudden beauty of the night, they had not seen anything like it before, because most would be asleep right now. They felt like the stars had been approving their relationship. As the two watched the display, Rainbow dash wrapped her wings around Twilight, and kissed her passionately. At first Twilight was surprised, but she soon melted into the kiss. She couldn't help but notice the stars in the corner of her eye, glittering as they shot passed. After the kiss broke, Twilight snuggled into Rainbow Dashs' Warm embrace, cuddling her tenderly, making sure not to pull out any of her feathers, as she moved. Once she was comfortable again, the new couple stayed locked together in an embrace, watching the night go by, enjoying the bottle of fine wine. “This must be what a good date is.” Twilight thought to herself, feeling giddy with joy. “I love you Dashy” Twilight thought aloud accidentally. “I love you too Twi.” Rainbow Dash stated, attempting to hide a massive smile, as she hugged Twilight tightly. Celestia and Discords' date... Celestia could feel her body relaxing, she loved the beach. She didn't have to worry about politics, Equestrias' Security, or even what the next day would bring. The beach was her fortress of solitude. Though this night she had to share it with someone, someone she didn't necessarily hate, but wished was more mature. Discord and her had been friends for years, she found him comforting to be around, however that was until he decided to cause anarchy and chaos, because he was rejected when he declared his love for her. She had long since forgiven him. Once he was reformed, they had become friends again. But Discord managed to get what he wanted, in the first place, a date with her, and so far it was quiet. He was actually behaving, though she wasn't sure how long it would last. “Tia, do you want to have some fun.” Discord stated, breaking Celestias' train of thought, as if on cue. “What do you mean, Discord?” Celestia replied, raising a curious eyebrow. “Well I was thinking, we could make everyones' dinner chase them around, while we watch the chaos unfold. Wouldn't that be fun.” Discord replied cheekily, clasping his claws together. “Discord...” Celestia replied, agitated at discords proposal of 'fun' “Oh your no fun Tia, you use to pull pranks on people all the time. I can still remember your mum chasing you with a wooden spoon, after you turned her hair purple, and her house inside out.” Discord stated dreamily. “I have learnt how to be mature. Something you're completely unfamiliar with Discord.” Celestia replied smartly. “Well I guess I better become more mature then.” Discord said as he changed into an elderly man, wearing a suit. “There you go, now I'm as old as you sound.” Discord stated playfully, sounding weary with age. Celestia Sighed, as her tranquillity was crushed by the lord of chaos. Though Celestia had to stifle a chuckle, as she remembered all of the pranks Discord and her, played on people. Especially her parents, though she was the princess of Equestria now, she had to be mature. Even though causing chaos with Discord, would be the highlight of her week, and a good way to blow off some steam. “Let's get something to eat, Discord.” Celestia smiled enjoying his company, they hadn't done anything in many years. “Then let's make the other patrons food run away, maybe make the spoons talk, or even make it start raining ice cream.” Discord winked at Celestia. “It will be fun. Let your hair down, your off duty.” Celestia thought about it, but soon pushed the thought out of her mind. “No Discord, contain yourself.” Celestia replied. Discord chuckled, knowing that he was gradually breaking down her serious personality. Luna and Sombras' date... Luna and Sombra, had been awkward this entire time, they had barely said two words to each other. “Where… Where, were you all these years Sombra.” Luna managed to say, through her nerves. Luna had never been on a date before, and she had a crush on Sombra for many years, but was to shy to tell him about it. “Ah… ha… ha… well… I have been in the Crystal Empire, hiding in a cave after Twilights' dragon destroyed my plans.” Sombra said equally as nervous as Luna. Sombra had never actually talked to anybody before, after all, most people were scared of him, apart from Luna, who had no fear of him in her gaze. “That's nice, how… how was it.” Luna said awkwardly, kicking herself inwardly, for saying something so stupid. “Cold and icy.” Sombra replied awkwardly not knowing what exactly to say. “Sounds great… Ah… Do you like games.” Luna said attempting break this awkwardness. “Yeah I love games, I just recently played the tomb of tokumba.” Sombra said excitedly. “The plot, and story were great and the puzzles, are truly interesting.” “I know right, that game was impressive, well designed.” Luna replied, finding a mutual topic to talk about, while they made there way to Diablo le flammore. Diablo le flamore was a five star restaurant in the centre of Canterlot. It claimed to have the best food, and the greatest chef in the world, a human chef named Sanji. Business was always booming, it was nearly impossible to get a reservation, but somehow Cadence had managed to get them the best seat in the house. As the pair were seated, and given a menu to browse. The pair looked at it, and decided what they were going to order. Once the chef came back, they ordered their meals, before continuing their conversation. Since the nerves had now eased, they were talking freely, like they were good friends. Soon their meals arrived, and a moment of silence passed as they ate. Once the couple finished eating, and thanked the staff for the service. The two of them started to make there way to the laser skirmish field. Luna had started to enjoy herself with Sombra, he was more interesting then she ever thought possible. It had surprised Luna with how open Sombra was with her. She couldn't wait to see what their night would bring next. After Twilights date finished… While Twilight relived the night she had with Rainbow Dash. She felt a sense of comfort come over her, it was the best thing she had ever felt. However her precious thoughts were completely shattered, as a voice entered her mind. “Have you already forgotten about me, didn't I mean anything to you?” Twilight woke up with a shock as she heard the voice, she looked around her room in a cold sweat, but she did not see anything. Spike was still asleep, the moon had been setting, and the sun had started to rise. “Who was that?” Twilight thought to herself, she did not know who's voice it was, but it felt familiar to her. Unable to figure it out, she closed her eyes once again, and tried to get back to sleep.
Prologue“It would be fun they said, it would do me good they said.” An irritated Twilight thought to herself. Twilight had been set up for a date with a well respected knight from Trottinghem, named Sir Star Shield. Twilight was never interested in dating. Though she had no choice this time, her mentor and her mentors' sister insisted on it, before eventually ordering Twilight to meet up with the suitor they had found. Twilight protested but failed to get her way. Though she was also a princess, she was the youngest of the group, so she had little, or any power over what her mentor told her to do. The date had been going no where, all this knight did; was talk about his exploits and eat a mountain of food. Whenever Twilight would attempt to make a conversation, he would ignore her and continue speaking about himself. The night had not gotten better for Twilight, she only became more agitated as the night progressed, she couldn't wait till this night was over. But unfortunately for Twilight, Luna had planned to make the night drag on. She even assisted her to help things go smoothly, she was playing wing girl. Luna had created the most beautiful and most romantic night she had ever made. Luna had built a love heart in the sky out of pink stars, with a women and a man embracing each other in a passionate kiss, surrounded by a love heart. It was not just Luna helping her out, it was also Rarity, Apple Jack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Spike, and Pinkie Pie. Rarity had mentioned the best restaurant in Canterlot, and provided the most beautiful gown for her date. Apple Jack had made Twilight a sweet smelling perfume, made from Rose extract and Apples, giving her a lightly sweet fragrance with a floral undertone. Rainbow Dash was at the ready with Spike, who would receive a message from Celestia to make it rain cherry blossom petals around the two, when they made it back to Twilights castle to set the scene for a romantic kiss. Fluttershy had organised an orchestra to serenade the two as they ate. Rarity not only provided the dress, but redecorated her room and made her some sexy lingerie to set the scene, if Twilight invited her man into her room. Pinky pie had made contact with Vinyl Scratch to make a mood CD for Twilight and her man. The whole plan was orchestrated by Celestia, to make her old pupil the finest date she would of ever had, so she told Twilights friends, she actually plotted this to embarrass Twilight. Even though Celestias' true reason was to make Twilight uncomfortable, she hoped that her pupil would find that special somebody, that she could wake up beside, and live her life in happiness. To counteract the loneliness she would feel when her friends succumb to the curse of time, whilst Twilight never aged, and had to watch each one of her friends pass. As the would be couple left the restaurant, Twilight was briskly walking back to her castle to rid her self of this beautiful, yet utter failure of a night. Twilight would go home, go to bed, wake up in the morning, head to Canterlot, and rage at her, so called match makers. 4 Hours earlier that day... “I don't want to find somebody!” Twilight protested “I'm happy being alone!” Twilight stamped her foot for emphasis. “Twilight my faithful student.” Celestia stated motherly “I want you to find somebody, not end up alone in the future, Star Shield is a lovely and well respected knight in Trottinghem, you will like him. He is smart, Brave, Strong, and honourable.” Celestia smiled gingerly. “I don't care, I have never met this boy before.” Twilight protested once more. “Besides Twilight, you will enjoy yourself I know what dreams you've been having. You need a good 7 inches.” Luna grinned cheekily. “YOU WATCH MY DREAMS!” Twilight stated, becoming very flushed and embarrassed. “Why yes Twilight tis my job, to look after the people in the night, including their dreams. Especially you and your friends. Twilight, ever since the Tantabus, I have paid close attention to you and your friends, for fear the Tantabus will return.” Luna stated as if were common knowledge. “Its still an invasion of privacy.” Twilight stated embarrassed. “Anyway I don't care what I need, I don't want somebody, I have no time to wast on dating! Just look at all of the friendship problems that have occurred, and what about my student Starlight Glimmer? How am I going to teach her about friendship, if I am gallivanting around with boys?” Twilight reasoned. “During the day you teach, but I know you have time during the night Twilight no body sneezes around here without me noticing, you're not working at night.” Celestia refuted. “Not to mention Twilight, my sister still taught you while she, as you say 'was gallivanting around with boys'.” Luna mentioned as a sly grin formed. “LUNA!” Celestia stated as she began to blush “Oh yes Twilight, my sister would have up to five partners at once.” Luna continued to draw out her sisters embarrassment. “THAT'S AN OVER EXAGGERATION, IT WAS ONLY THAT ONE TIME! And it wa-*Cough* I mean Twilight you will enjoy yourself, trust me, have I ever led you astray?” Celestia said as she tried to shift the topic away from herself, and back to Twilight. “Oh Celestia, who would of thought. So how many was it Luna?” Twilight stated, enjoying the fact that her mentor was turning bright crimson. “Well it- Twilight it does not matter you are going to go on this date, and you cannot say, or do anything, to stop that from happening. You may leave to get ready for your night.” Celestia cut off Luna before she could say anymore. “While I have a little chat with my sister.” Celestia growled at her sister. Who just laughed at her sisters indignation. “Bu-Twilight get ready.” Celestia stated in a strange tone, between embarrassment and frustration. Before teleporting Twilight to her castle. “WHY DO I EVEN BOTHER!” Twilight screamed to herself. For the first time, Twilight felt powerless, and more nervous then she had ever been before. But like the good student she was, she did as she was told.
Chapter 1 Love & Regret (Reworked)Present Time... As Twilight woke up in the morning, she was still seething at what she was put through last night. That man had been the worst guy she'd met. “Honourable, respected, PFFT yeah right!” Twilight thought to herself, as she stormed down her winding stare case in her castle. Twilight made her way to the door to her castle and much to her surprise, when she opened the door it was Celestia and Luna smiling at her. “Hello Twilight, how was he.” Celestia inquired, generally interested in her students night. “Was he well endowed?” Luna added cheekily, earning an annoyed glare from Celestia. “Let me see, how was that dreamy knight you set me up with.” Twilight started sarcastically “HE WAS TERRIBLE, I WOULD OF RATHER FACED ETERNAL TORMENT IN TARTARUS, THEN GO ON THAT POINTLESS DATE, WITH SUCH A NARCISSISTIC, EGOTISTICAL, SHINNING ARMOUR, WANNABE.” Twilights voice boomed filled with venom, as her hair turned fiery red, her skin colour started to glow fiery white, and her eyes changed from purple to red. “Twilight, I'm so sorry, I set you up with such a man.” Celestia tried to say straight faced, holding back a chuckle at her old students temper, which she had not seen since Twilight was not a princess and found out how strange, unexplainable, and alien Pinkie sense was. “Did you at least let him ravish you, Twilight?” Luna inquired. “NO! AND EVEN IF HE DID, WHY WOULD I TELL YOU!” Twilight replied both embarrassed and angry. Luna laughed at Twilights reaction. “Oh well I guess the next suitor we have for you will be the lucky person, to have the honour of popping the cherry of a princess.” Luna said with a grin, waiting for Twilights second explosion of anger. “WHAT!? YOU HAVE ORGANISED ANOTHER DATE FOR ME! YOU KNEW THAT HE AND I WERE NOT COMPATIBLE!” Twilight shouted, using the royal Canterlot voice she did not know she could use. “Why yes Twilight, other then me knowing everything that happens under my nose, I had hoped he was compatible. Though as I watched your date unfold, I knew you weren’t. Besides Luna picked this one out, just for you. He is a young prince named Zephyr he's a handsome prince too, and known throughout his country, as the kind hearted prince.” “I also took the time to ask him what his endowment was, it's exactly the same length and girth as in your dream, Twilight. He's kind, well hung, and definitely prince charming.” Luna added with a proud tone. “THEN WHY DON'T YOU DATE HIM!?” Twilight shouted embarrassed, then a devious plan entered her mind. “Why don't you date him? You're a genius Twilight!” She thought before replying to Celestia and Luna in a calmer tone, returning to her normal dishevelled self. “Actually he does sound pretty interesting.” Twilight purred cunningly. “Twilight are you feeling alright.” Luna asked, perplexed with Twilights new attitude. “Oh yes Luna, I'm perfectly fine.” Twilight purred slyly “Okay… Twilight are you sure your alright?” Luna inquired again. “Yes Luna, I'm fine I better start making preparations for my re-date. You better go and tend to your duties, you are very busy princesses, and I have to contact rarity to make a new dress for me.” Twilight stated unnervingly Calm, before shutting the door. Luna and Celestia were slightly on edge with Twilights new tone. She was unlike this normally she had been easily stressed, with unfamiliar circumstances, but this time she was different. She was calm. Luna and Celestia were perplexed, as they made their way back to Canterlot. “What was that all about?” Luna asked Celestia. “I think she is finally opening up to the thought of finding a mate to be with, maybe she finally figured out the reason we want her to be in a Relationship. I may have taught Twilight, but unfortunately I don't know what she is thinking.” Celestia Reasoned to herself, while replying to Luna. “She wouldn't be plotting revenge, would she?” Luna replied with another question. “Twilight, Devious? Never, it's not in her personality. She has always respected us, and followed our instruction.” Celestia replied with disbelief, she knew her student well, she thought of her like a daughter she never had. Celestia would easily fight an army of demons to save her if she needed saving, and if Twilight were to be hurt. She would vow to kill the creature that did it. Considering the fact that when she heard of Twilight and her friends being attacked by a cockatrice, she was so enraged, she wanted to burn the entire Everfree down. Decimating everything in it. “yeah, I guess your right, Tia. Twilight would never be so cynical.” Luna reasoned to herself. However what the two sisters failed to realise, was that Twilight had been planning to do that exact thing. She had written a letter to Cadence and Shinning Armour, asking them to visit her. After she had sent the letter off, she started busying herself with getting ready. Twilight had contacted Rarity and Apple Jack, to help her to get ready for a date, with a prince, who was to arrive at 6:00pm, whisking her off to a romantic setting, where they would enjoy food and drink befit for kings and queens. As the time struck 6, he was there with military precision, not a second, nor even a milli second late. A knock reached Twilights ears, and as she opened the door, she saw a stunning man with confident golden eyes, which Twilight could not help, but lose herself in. He had a fare skin tone, honey blond hair, and a chiselled jaw line. Twilight could only sum him up in one word, dreamy. Luna was not wrong he was definitely Handsome. Twilight felt comfortable around him, and she admired his timing and organisation skills. This comfort around a man was a strange feeling to Twilight, but she welcomed it. While Twilight was lost in admiration of this charming and handsome man. He bent down and kissed her hand gingerly, then bowed before her, with the utmost respect. “You must be Twilight. Its a pleasure to make your acquaintance.” Zephyr stated respectfully. “Th… a… t is… ah… me...” Twilight struggled to say, overcome with nerves, trying her hardest to hide her flushed cheeks. “Good on you Twilight, he is your type and you just made a fool of yourself, good job.” Twilight chastised to herself, in an undertone. As the two left, Twilight actually looked forward to the night she would spend with this handsome prince. When they made it to the place they were going to have tea, he got out first, handed her his hand, helped her out of the carriage, and led her to the table, where he seated her down gently, polished her knife and fork, before ordering. The date was going well, and Twilight began to like him a lot. She was already planning the next date with him, she was still lost in his gaze, and she had become very comfortable talking with him. “Zephyr, what is your country like?” Twilight Inquired. “Well Twilight, its a lovely place full of beautiful forests, beaches, and waterfalls. You will have to come with me sometime, I'll show you around.” Zephyr Replied Zephyr had been enjoying the company of Twilight, he really liked her, he could not resist her brilliant amethyst coloured eyes, her pleasant smile and the spark of confidence about her. He could of spent the whole night talking to her, she was so interesting, so full of knowledge, so organised and polite. Twilight was better then all of his previous suitors. Especially that girl named sapphire sky. “How about tomorrow, I visit your country?” Twilight stated “What are you doing Twilight, why did you just say you wanted to go with him back to his country.” Twilight thought to herself. “Tha- Zephyr I found you.” Another females voice shot through Zephyrs reply. “Not her, anyone but her.” Zephyr thought to himself, fearfully. Zephyr hesitated before he turned around. His heart skipped, and his face turned pale, as if saw ghost. “Sapphire, what are you doing here!?” Zephyr shouted, shocked. “to collect you my...” Sapphire trailed off. “Who is she.” Sapphire spat,. “I happen to be his date, and you are?” Twilight stated, slightly perturbed at the sudden intrusion. “I happen, to be his Girlfriend!” Sapphire stated with venom, glaring murderously at Twilight. “Oh really?” Twilight replied, shooting daggers at Zephyr. “Well this is just great, I have been busted.” Zephyr thought to himself, as he tried to sneak out of the establishment, but was halted by a magenta aura surrounding him. "Where exactly, do you think you are going. Is she telling me the truth." Twilight chastised, she wanted answers. "You see the thing is we're kinda together still" Zephyr anxiously stated, "I cant believe you, you were nothing like I expected, I should of known it was too good to be true." Twilight stated to no one in particular. before she dropped Zephyr with a satisfying thud, and walked out.
Chapter 4 Love & Scorn (Reworked)the two sisters continued their search for Twilights' new suitor. They had found many, but none really stuck out to the two sisters, however Celestia saw something she was not expecting to see. She saw a rather embarrassing picture of herself, on a website called universal dating for loners. Celestias' picture had been of her drunk, wearing skimpy fish net stockings, with a way too short black leather one piece skirt, revealing her fare back, leaving very little to the imagination, and her cleavage for the world to see. “LUNA!” Celestia Cried. “OH MY GOSH Celestia! who set that up?” Luna started, attempting not to laugh. “and heh heh... secondly where did you get that outfit.” Luna continued awkwardly, admiring her sisters strange, and out of character outfit. “Oh don't play dumb, you did this.” Celestia said, as a flush of embarrassment rose to her cheeks. “I did no such thing Tia.” Luna replied slightly envious of who actually did it. “No we did that.” three voices stated in unison. The two sisters turned from the computer screen, and saw Twilight, Shining, and Cadence, standing at the entrance to the room. “What! When! How!” Celestia replied, in utter surprise. “How did you get that picture.” Luna added curiously. “I don't take the credit for that, that credit goes to my lovely sister in law.” Twilight modestly replied. “You must teach me Cadence.” Luna said slyly, earning a burning glare from Celestia. “Well now that you know who put you on display, it's time I tell you, that you have a double date to prepare for.” Twilight said facetiously. “they will be here soon, so you best get ready.” “Twilight I respectfully refuse, I am perfectly fine with being alone.” Celestia replied diplomatically, expecting Twilight to understand, and call off the date. “Celestia, you taught me far to well in politics. According to your law, anyone who is a part of royalty, cannot refuse to have an audience with the person requesting an audience. Which is you, Miss Princess of Equestria.” Twilight stated knowingly. Celestia sighed. “Who are we meeting Twilight?” Celestia stated, as she started to notice the flaws in her plan. “You will love the two guys I found you. After all, I have done research.” Twilight stated as she revealed two diaries. “HOW DID YOU GET THOSE!” Both Luna and Celestia stated, feeling violated by the student they thought so highly of. “Oh I just found them lying around.” Twilight stated nonchalantly, as a guard entered the room. “Princess Twilight, the two people you were expecting, are here.” The guard stated respectfully. “Thank you, bring them in.” Twilight replied, eagerly waiting for the reaction of her mentor. “Yes ma'am.” The guard replied, ushering Twilights' guests into the room. “I am sure you know these two, but I'll introduce you to them anyway.” Twilight started, before clearing her throat “We have King Sombra for Luna, and Discord for Celestia.” Twilight stated with a sly grin. After Twilight finished her introduction, she heard another guard enter the room. “Celestia your guest has arrived.” The guard said. “I wonder who that could be.” Celestia Smiled inwardly. Earning a suspicious glare from Twilight. “let my guest in.” Celestia stated in short. “Yes ma'am.” The guard replied. Twilights jaw dropped as Celestias guest came into the room. “How did Celestia know, did she take my...” Twilight thought to herself as she realised what had happened to her diary. “Lose something.” Celestia stated tauntingly. “What, How? Then you know about my...” Twilight trailed off, nervously biting her lip, trembling slightly. “We both do.” Celestia and Luna said, at the exact same time. “When?” Twilight squeaked. “That is our secret.” Celestia replied. “Ah... Twily is there something you want to tell me?” Shinning added confusedly. "Oh my Twilight.” Cadence chimed in, just as surprised as her husband was. “I can explain everything.” Twilight said, feeling trapped between a rock and a hard place. “How long has it been this way Twily? Does mum and dad know?” Shinning said completely shell shocked at the revelation. “No, they don't, it has been this way for a long time. I had been hiding it in my diary, that never left my side, until now.” Twilight stated, flustered. “Twilight there is one thing you must remember, you can never outwit your teacher.” Celestia stated cheekily. “Damn it. That's what I get for not thinking this plan through.” Twilight chastised herself. “You tried, and that's all I ask of my students.” Celestia commented, proud of her counter strategy. Twilight heard the comment, and felt foalish. “Hi ya Twi.” A cyan skin toned girl, with rainbow coloured hair said, wearing a blue T-shirt with a rainbow coloured lightning bolt printed on it. “Hi Rainbow Dash.” Twilight replied embarrassed. “Where are we going tonight.” Rainbow Dash replied. “Don't worry Twilight, I will help you with this one. After all I am the princess of love, and I think you and Rainbow, would make quite the cute couple. You are both highly compatible with each other.” Cadence replied for Twilight, relaxing from the sudden revelation. “Now you three have to get ready for your dates. I'll entertain the boys and girl, why you three freshen up.” Cadence concluded, excited about helping her sister in law, and her aunts find partners. Soon after she ushered Twilight, Celestia, and Luna off. She magicked a drawing board to her, and requested her husband to get some refreshments for the guests. After Twilight, Celestia, and Luna finished in the shower they donned there best dresses. However Twilight did not have a dress, nor did she have the time to get one, because of this Celestia had generously given Twilight one of her older, yet still pretty dresses to wear for the night. At first it was to long on her, but with a bit of magic, she tailored the dress to her size, though it matched her size now, she still thought it was far to outdated. So Twilight created a spell on the fly, and redesigned her dress into a modern cocktail dress. The dress was a sleeveless black dress, cut just above the knees, fitting her figure tightly, with a thin sash starting from her upper arm, just below her shoulder, revealing the top side of her right breast, spreading to the right side of her chest, then winding back to the left side of her chest, covering her cleavage in the process, creating a Z like shape exposing her stomach, but connecting to the base of the dress, via the back of the dress. The three girls, made there way from the bath room, heading to the foyer, where the boys were now waiting. While the girls took their time to get ready; RD had been chilling on one of the seats that were about in the castle, relaxed and confident as always, Discord had been thinking of how many ways he could make this date fun, and Sombra was trying to figure out what he would say to Luna they had not been together for over a thousand years, not to mention he also tried to force her and her sister into submission twice. thankfully the evil amulet had been destroyed when he was defeated by Twilight and Spike, and for that reason he held no resentment towards her she had freed him from the shackles of dark magic.

Sombra had been locked in disbelief, that someone even had a crush on him in the first place. He was struggling against his mixed emotions about this whole ordeal. He was warring against regret for treating Luna and Celestia the way he did, the uncertainty about whether this was a ploy for revenge, and the confusion about Cadence; why was she helping him in the first place, no one had showed him such kindness before. All the more surprising was the nature of their relationship, he was her sworn enemy, yet she still helped, showing kindness towards him. 1 Day earlier, somewhere in the Crystal Empire… Twilight had written Sombra a letter pretending to be Luna, requesting him to meet her for a date. In the letter it described how Luna had wanted to date him for many years, pre-dating all the way back to her high school years. When Sombra read it, he found it absurd. After all, the reason he enslaved the Crystal Empire was because he wanted to make them pay for the way they treated him. By taking over Equestria, he would finally be recognised, which was the only thing he wanted, just to be noticed by somebody, to have a friend. However they just ignored him, or ran in fear. so he decided to give them what they wanted, fear. He became the most fearful dark wizard of all time. He knew he would go down in history, although it was for the wrong reasons, he didn’t care. He would finally be recognised. It had become his driving force all these years, but this letter brought back a glimpse of his old personality; charming, polite, kind, and gentle, he felt a warm feeling buried in the deepest of places of his heart, ignite once again. Sombra soon realised that this feeling was the feeling of love. He remembered back to when he would see Luna walk passed him, with a kind smile upon her face. He would feel butterflies fly around in his chest, every time she was near. Though he was always to shy to even say two words to her, he would always shy away, or hide behind a book. Sombra decided after realising the way he felt, that he would not shy away again, and instead agree to meet up with Luna. Present Time… As Twilight and the two sisters made it down the stares leading to the foyer, Rainbow Dash Gasped in surprise, as she noticed how sexy Twilight looked in her dress. She had to blink twice to make sure she was not dreaming, or hallucinating. “Wow Twi, you look amazing. Here I am wearing a standered T-shirt.” Rainbow Dash stated, suddenly self conscious of what she was wearing. Twilight blushed “You look pretty too.” Twilight replied coyly. “Awwww, how cute you two are.” Cadence Commented, Earning a blush from both Twilight and RD. Discord looked at Celestias' choice of dress, and felt instantly bored. Celestia was wearing a modest beige full length dress, with little flowers skirting the base of the dress. “Well no surprise there…” Discord rolled his eyes. “let's make thing's more interesting.” Discord stated as he clicked his fingers. As he did Celestias' clothing suddenly changed to the same skimpy outfit, she wore in her profile picture on the website. “much better.” Discord chuckled. “Discord!” Celestia said, as a fresh wave of embarrassment presented itself, as Celestia changed her clothing back to the way it was. “I love it when you get embarrassed.” Discord stated, playfully. Luna and Sombra were awkwardly silent, they did not know what to say to each other. This was because Luna and Sombra had never been on a date before, this was a first for them both. Cadence chuckled lightly at her aunts first reaction to dating. She was reminded of the time she first met Shining. Cadence remembered it, like it was yesterday. Flash Back… She remembered never missing any of Shining Armour's football games, hiding behind the audience stand, in the darkness, silently cheering him on. It was her eldest aunt, who encouraged her to talk to her prince in Shinning Armour. At first it was awkward, she would stumble over herself, feeling foolish at times, but she knew Shining thought it was cute. After she became more comfortable around him, Shinning asked her out on a date, where she wore a pretty dress, that Celestia had kept aside for her. Cadences Dress was a lovely rose pink colour, with a v shaped neck line that was cut just after the knees, with little frills edging the base of the dress. She also wore a love heart shaped turquoise necklace, her light purple, mauve, and white, hair sittting naturally, flowing gently down her side, slightly swooping across her brow. She remembered Shinnings' reaction as she opened the door. He had been completely awe struck by her beauty unable to word the simplest of sentences. Cadence blushed as she took his outstretched hand. He led her to his car, where they drove to the movie theatre. She remembered the date they went on quite fondly; they had seen love at first sight, had a nice meal at a 5 star restaurant, completely paid for by Celestia. Then they walked hand in hand on the beach, before settling down on the beach, watching the stars and the moon pass them by, as the sound of gentle waves breaking along the shore line lightly sounded in the backround. Cadence snuggled into Shinning Armours' chest, listening to the beat of his heart, completely content. The couple had stayed there locked in a comfortable embrace with each other, watching the moon set behind the waters horizon, where she received her first kiss, before going back home to relive the night in her dreams. Present time… After Cadence returned from her walk down memory lane, she told the couples where their dates would be held. Cadence was good at what she did, she adapted the scene for each individual couple, so that they would get the most out of their dates. Twilight and RD, were going to have a picnic on the viewpoint of a mountain, over looking Equestrias' numerous cities. Cadence set this date up for Twilight, because she knew that she'd enjoy being bathed in starlight overlooking a stunning view of Equestria, with nothing around them, just two people having a nice and quiet picnic. Cadence also knew that something special would be happening tonight. Luna and Sombra, were going to have dinner together before playing lazer tag, then going to see a movie afterwards. Cadence organised this because she knew that both Sombra and Luna were gamers, and loved watching movies. Celestia and Discord, were going for a moonlit walk along the beach, where they'd eat fish and chips. Cadence organised this date for two reasons; the first was to keep discord out of trouble, and secondly Celestia was much lower maintenance then everyone expected her to be, she enjoyed the simple things, like Twilight did. Cadence smiled, as she watched the three couples leave with there respectable partners. After they left, Shinning and Cadence started to talk about how they met, reminiscing about the past, and what they should do in the future.
Chapter 6 Love & RomanceAs Twilight and Rainbow Dash had made it to the mountain view point, it was truly a sight to behold, Equestria showed its' true beauty on this mountain. All of the buildings and houses resembled gemstones glittering under the starlight, a pleasant breeze had been blowing on this mountain, it was not cold, but crisp and gentle, carrying the sweet smell of pine trees from the Everfree nearby. The night was perfectly clear, the stars were like gems in a vast darkening ocean, the moon had been full, providing just enough light to see clearly. Rainbow dash had set up the red and white chequered picnic blanket, before sneaking up to Twilight, and pecking her on the cheek. Twilight turned with a start after Rainbow Dashs' lips left her cheek. Twilight noticed that Rainbow Dash had a shy expression, and a blush masking her cheeks. Twilight Smiled. “Rainbow Dash, this is so unlike you?” Twilight stated, as she remembered the fading warmth on her face, from her gentle lips. “Don't you like it I-I can stop being so emotional if you'd like? I-I just feel like I can be myself around you.” RD said, nervously fidgeting with her hands. “No Rainbow... I was wondering why you stopped?” Twilight asked blushing slightly. “Come and join me Dashy.” Twilight beckoned with her hand. Rainbow joined Twilight on the viewing balcony, on the mountain. Twilight pretended to shiver from a cold breeze, though it was not cold but Twilight wanted to get closer to Rainbow Dash, so she subtly gave her the hint. Rainbow Dash wrapped a wing around Twilight, pulling her close. “Is that better, Twi.” “Yes, thank you Dashy,” Twilight replied, snuggling into Rainbow Dashs' embrace. Soon after a brief embrace, the two girls decided to eat what they had been given to take with them. They had Cucumber sandwiches, and a bottle of fine wine, Cadence gave to them. It was from the Crystal Empires best vineyard. It had a sweet and fragrant aroma, with a lovely golden colour from white frost grapes and honey only native to the Crystal Empire. Twilight took a sip of the wine, and her taste buds danced with elation. The wine started off very mellow, then suddenly became sweet and refreshing. To her amazement, the wine was ice cold despite being carried all the way from the Crystal Empire. She made a mental note to research how this was possible, later. Twilight sighed with contentment, as she let the euphoria of the night wash over her. She was happy that her secret crush had been made known to Rainbow Dash, she wanted to tell her sooner. But she was afraid that if she did she'd loose her friends, if the girls, or even if she just told Rainbow Dash, that she liked both boys and girls. However, there was something magical about Rainbow Dash. When she would look at her, she felt her heart flutter, and she would become nervous. While the night progressed, and the two girls enjoyed each others company. Cadences secret surprise showed itself. The sky lit up with a million little flashes shooting through the sky, making it sparkle ever so brightly. Twilight and Rainbow Dash were lost in awe at the sudden beauty of the night, they had not seen anything like it before, because most would be asleep right now. They felt like the stars had been approving their relationship. As the two watched the display, Rainbow dash wrapped her wings around Twilight, and kissed her passionately. At first Twilight was surprised, but she soon melted into the kiss. She couldn't help but notice the stars in the corner of her eye, glittering as they shot passed. After the kiss broke, Twilight snuggled into Rainbow Dashs' Warm embrace, cuddling her tenderly, making sure not to pull out any of her feathers, as she moved. Once she was comfortable again, the new couple stayed locked together in an embrace, watching the night go by, enjoying the bottle of fine wine. “This must be what a good date is.” Twilight thought to herself, feeling giddy with joy. “I love you Dashy” Twilight thought aloud accidentally. “I love you too Twi.” Rainbow Dash stated, attempting to hide a massive smile, as she hugged Twilight tightly. Celestia and Discords' date... Celestia could feel her body relaxing, she loved the beach. She didn't have to worry about politics, Equestrias' Security, or even what the next day would bring. The beach was her fortress of solitude. Though this night she had to share it with someone, someone she didn't necessarily hate, but wished was more mature. Discord and her had been friends for years, she found him comforting to be around, however that was until he decided to cause anarchy and chaos, because he was rejected when he declared his love for her. She had long since forgiven him. Once he was reformed, they had become friends again. But Discord managed to get what he wanted, in the first place, a date with her, and so far it was quiet. He was actually behaving, though she wasn't sure how long it would last. “Tia, do you want to have some fun.” Discord stated, breaking Celestias' train of thought, as if on cue. “What do you mean, Discord?” Celestia replied, raising a curious eyebrow. “Well I was thinking, we could make everyones' dinner chase them around, while we watch the chaos unfold. Wouldn't that be fun.” Discord replied cheekily, clasping his claws together. “Discord...” Celestia replied, agitated at discords proposal of 'fun' “Oh your no fun Tia, you use to pull pranks on people all the time. I can still remember your mum chasing you with a wooden spoon, after you turned her hair purple, and her house inside out.” Discord stated dreamily. “I have learnt how to be mature. Something you're completely unfamiliar with Discord.” Celestia replied smartly. “Well I guess I better become more mature then.” Discord said as he changed into an elderly man, wearing a suit. “There you go, now I'm as old as you sound.” Discord stated playfully, sounding weary with age. Celestia Sighed, as her tranquillity was crushed by the lord of chaos. Though Celestia had to stifle a chuckle, as she remembered all of the pranks Discord and her, played on people. Especially her parents, though she was the princess of Equestria now, she had to be mature. Even though causing chaos with Discord, would be the highlight of her week, and a good way to blow off some steam. “Let's get something to eat, Discord.” Celestia smiled enjoying his company, they hadn't done anything in many years. “Then let's make the other patrons food run away, maybe make the spoons talk, or even make it start raining ice cream.” Discord winked at Celestia. “It will be fun. Let your hair down, your off duty.” Celestia thought about it, but soon pushed the thought out of her mind. “No Discord, contain yourself.” Celestia replied. Discord chuckled, knowing that he was gradually breaking down her serious personality. Luna and Sombras' date... Luna and Sombra, had been awkward this entire time, they had barely said two words to each other. “Where… Where, were you all these years Sombra.” Luna managed to say, through her nerves. Luna had never been on a date before, and she had a crush on Sombra for many years, but was to shy to tell him about it. “Ah… ha… ha… well… I have been in the Crystal Empire, hiding in a cave after Twilights' dragon destroyed my plans.” Sombra said equally as nervous as Luna. Sombra had never actually talked to anybody before, after all, most people were scared of him, apart from Luna, who had no fear of him in her gaze. “That's nice, how… how was it.” Luna said awkwardly, kicking herself inwardly, for saying something so stupid. “Cold and icy.” Sombra replied awkwardly not knowing what exactly to say. “Sounds great… Ah… Do you like games.” Luna said attempting break this awkwardness. “Yeah I love games, I just recently played the tomb of tokumba.” Sombra said excitedly. “The plot, and story were great and the puzzles, are truly interesting.” “I know right, that game was impressive, well designed.” Luna replied, finding a mutual topic to talk about, while they made there way to Diablo le flammore. Diablo le flamore was a five star restaurant in the centre of Canterlot. It claimed to have the best food, and the greatest chef in the world, a human chef named Sanji. Business was always booming, it was nearly impossible to get a reservation, but somehow Cadence had managed to get them the best seat in the house. As the pair were seated, and given a menu to browse. The pair looked at it, and decided what they were going to order. Once the chef came back, they ordered their meals, before continuing their conversation. Since the nerves had now eased, they were talking freely, like they were good friends. Soon their meals arrived, and a moment of silence passed as they ate. Once the couple finished eating, and thanked the staff for the service. The two of them started to make there way to the laser skirmish field. Luna had started to enjoy herself with Sombra, he was more interesting then she ever thought possible. It had surprised Luna with how open Sombra was with her. She couldn't wait to see what their night would bring next. After Twilights date finished… While Twilight relived the night she had with Rainbow Dash. She felt a sense of comfort come over her, it was the best thing she had ever felt. However her precious thoughts were completely shattered, as a voice entered her mind. “Have you already forgotten about me, didn't I mean anything to you?” Twilight woke up with a shock as she heard the voice, she looked around her room in a cold sweat, but she did not see anything. Spike was still asleep, the moon had been setting, and the sun had started to rise. “Who was that?” Twilight thought to herself, she did not know who's voice it was, but it felt familiar to her. Unable to figure it out, she closed her eyes once again, and tried to get back to sleep.
