Chapter 1: Awakening/Meeting
In the Dragon Lands
In a cave, a huge dragon was crawling with something in his mouth. The dragon then settled it down near his big pile of gems and gold, after that he went to go take a nap. After two hours had passed the object that the dragon was holding began glowing, the dragon then woke up from the blinding light that was coming from the object. The light then stopped and the dragon then opened his eyes to see a pony but it didn't look like a ordinary pony. The pony was a bit bigger then regular ponies, it had weird shaped horns, had a red body with red eyes, had a scaly underbelly with gray claws, and had dragon wings with a orange membrane and it's mane was on fire. It kinda looked like a dragon from the dragon's perspective but who cares about that, it was in his cave and near his treasures.
The pony seemed confused as to where he was until he looked up seeing fire coming at him. The dragon had kept firing until he saw that the pony was walking through his fire as he kept firing, then the pony stop and seized the fire that came from the dragon. The dragon was shocked as to see that his fire didn't incinerate the pony, and the pony seem so calm about it.
The dragon didn't like that the pony was so calm about this. He then swiped at the pony, but the pony dodged the attack and firing at the dragon with a orange beam. The dragon then fired and both attacks collided pushing them both back.
"" said the pony as his horns glowed to pick up the dragons arm and reattached it. The dragon was shocked to see that the pony reattached his wing, he then started moving it seeing if was moving and it was. "I'm sorry for that happening, I just can't control my powers. Anyways my name is Darmark what's yours" said Darmark as he sat down waiting for that dragon to reply.
The dragon couldn't believe what this pony was saying, he wanted to know his name. The dragon was going to say nothing but thought about it, this pony did beat him by blasting off his wing but in return, reattached it where he could've killed him right there but didn't. "Alright pony I'll tell you name. It is Smaug" he said while sitting down.
Darmark was happy to know that he was cooperating with him but hated that he called him a pony. "Also could you not call me a pony because my species is called Kirins" Darmark said as he got to show his features, "You mean your one of those pony-dragon hybrids, weird" said Smaug as he got closer to Darmark. Darmark was confused because dragons are supposed to know what his species his right... that is until he remembered what had happened to him when he was younger.
Smaug then saw how sad Darmark looked and did something dragons wouldn't normally do. "Kid, I'm gonna do you a favor since you didn't kill me. I will give two bags of my treasure and tell you the way to get to a place called Equestria." Smaug said as he got Darmarks bags of treasure. Darmark couldn't believe that Smaug was helping him, "Thank you Smaug for helping me even if we just met" said Darmark as he took the bags from Smaug.
"I have to, you do smell like one of us and you are a young one, It wouldn't be right if a dishonored the dragon code" he said as he gave him a map to show him where to go. Darmark was happy that Smaug was helping him and so he hugged him, Smaug on the other hand didn't like the hug at all but took it anyway. Darmark then took to the skys and left Smaug who was watching him go, then a bright light formed behind Smaug and a dragon came out.
"Hello brother, it's been awhile" said the massive dragon with a deep and powerful voice, "It's good to see you to Dreadwing" said Smaug as he turned around to greet his older brother. "Was it really him Smaug" said Dreadwing as he looked at his younger brother, "Yes it was. He has grown from the last time we saw him" said Smaug as looked back outside.
"Brother do you really think that he could stop him" said Dreadwing as he stared out in the direction where Darmark was going, "I have faith in him brother, now let us go" said Smaug as he was walking to the bright light. "I hope your right" said Dreadwing as he followed.
In Ponyville
Everypony was excited because in one day there was going to be a festival for Princess Celestia and Luna. They were all preparing for the festival as Twilight was making sure that everything was right, she and her friends were in charge of making sure everything was okay for the festival. "Hey everypony, how about we take a break for the day and finish up tomorrow" said Twilight as everypony began doing what they would normally do.
"This festival is going to be amazing" said Rainbow as she landed next to Twilight. "You said it" said Pinkie as they all were about to go back to the Friendship castle until Pinkie stopped in her tracks, "Pinkie darling, are you alright" said Rarity as the rest of the girls also stop.
"You okay there sugarcube" said Applejack as she walked over to Pinkie to see a huge grin on her face. "Pinkie seems happy about something" said Fluttershy, that until they saw Pinkie twitching around. "Twitchy tail, Twitchy eyes. There somepony new here in town!!" shouted Pinkie in excitement.
Now everypony pony know that when PInkie twitches, something bad always happen. "What do you mean somepony new is here, and whoever it is is gonna get a beat down" said Rainbow as she started to look around only to see nothing, then out of nowhere a cloak figure was walking toward the hall. Rainbow was about to fly over there to confront the figure until she saw Pinkie over there already.
The girls then went over to Pinkie to see who the figure was. "Hi I'm Pinkie Pie, what's your name" asked Pinkie while smiling, the group didn't know what was going to happen next so Rainbow flew over in front of Pinkie and got into the figures face. "Who are you and what are you doing in Ponyville!!" shouted Rainbow. The rest of the girls ran up in front of Rainbow and Twilight started yelling at her, "Rainbow what the hay are you doing!! I'm sorry for my friend here I'm Twilight Sparkle".
Twilight was expecting for the figure to yell at them but didn't. "It's alright, your friend here was just trying to protect a friend and I understand" said the figure who's voice was feminine and elegant, Twilight was happy to know that the mare was okay with it. "Well you already know me and Pinkie. Here's the rest of my friends" said Twilight happily as she was pointing her hoof at each of the girls, "This is Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash".
Rainbow didn't care she was just worried about her friends so she got back in her face. "So who are you? What are you doing here?" asked Rainbow, Applejack was telling her to shut up when the figure spoke again, "My name is Ki Seong and for what I'm doing here. I'm trying to start a new life" Ki Seong said as she looked up where you could see her amber colored eyes. "Alright then but why are you wearing a cloak?" asked Rainbow.
"It's because I don't want to frighten anyone because of the way I look" said Ki Seong. The mane 6 were confused as to why she would say that her appearance would scare anypony, "Why would anypony be scared of how you look" asked Twilight. Ki Seong sighed and took her hood off revealing her face to the mane 6.
Ki Seong had antlers instead of a horn and had scales. The mane 6 were shocked to see her true face but Twilight was excited, "Ki Seong I have a question. What type of creature are you?!" asked Twilight with excitement in her voice. Ki Seong couldn't believe that they were not scared of her, "You were wrong big sister, these ponies weren't afraid of us" she thought. "Well Twilight to answer your question. I am whats known as a kirin" Ki Seong said as she smiled at how Twilight was acting.
Twilight was confused by what type of species that is. "Um... Ki Seong, what's a kirin?" asked Twilight as she magically's summons a quill and notepad, "Well Twilight a kirin is a pony-dragon hybrid. Meaning it could go both ways as to mates. My father was a dragon and my mother a unicorn" said Ki seong as she began to smile. Twilight was writing down everything that Ki Seong was telling her about kirins.
"Well Twilight I do believe that our time is up as I need a place to stay" said as she walked into town hall while putting back on her hood. Twilight was so excited to find out about a whole other new species of ponies, "Well girls it looks like we just made a new friend while also discovering a whole new species" said Twilight in excitement.
The rest of the girls agreed and headed back to the castle. Ki Seong came back out with her key to her new home and said to herself "This is going to be a new life for me", she smiled and headed off to her house that was located near The Friendship Castle.
In the sky above Dodge City
Darmark was still flying making his way to Equestria. "This place looks familiar, like I been here before" Darmark said to himself, but unknown to him he was being followed by three dragons, one red, one white, and one purple. "This pony thinks he can fly into our territory and thinks he can get away from, he's dead wrong" the red one said to himself as they continued to follow him.
In Tartarus
In the shadows a being was watching Darmark make his journey to Equestria. He began to smile and said to himself, "Finally".
