Hi my name is Narrator and I'm going to introduce you to this new world along with the characters we'll be focusing on more so your not confused later in the story. Let's start with the world itself, Equestia is basically the same as it is in the show. You have all the cities where they're supposed to be working as so.

What's different is that Princess Celestia has at least one alicorn in every city to watch over it and to report to her whenever something goes wrong. Now let's move on to the characters.

Twilight is Ponyville's alicorn look over. She's new to the job so she reports to Celestial often as she's paranoid. She also likes tests, not written tests, magic tests, biological experiments which is another reason as to why she reports to Princess Celestia so often. She's not a bookworm like her show counterpart, she has more of a paranoid curious personality.

Pinkie Pie is basically the same as her show counterpart just a bit more psychotic and mental.

She's kept under close watch by Twilight.

Applejack is exactly the same as her show counterpart. No difference.

Fluttershy is feral. She behaves more like a dog than a pony. She does talk though and she isn't half as timid as her show counterpart but will get out of a situation when it south.

Rarity is still a great clothes designer. She is more into mares than anything else and acts strangely around mares she likes.

Rainbow Dash isn't nearly as self centered as her show counterpart. She's brave and street smart and knows when to leave a situation like Fluttershy. She doesn't want to be part of the Wonderbolts (yes they exist here) instead she just wants to live in Ponyville normally.
