Spike eyes flew open only to be blinded bright white light. Spike shielded his eyes with his wing, giving him time to adjust to the bright light. As his eyes adjusted to the light silhouette's started to form. It was Princess Celestia, Princess Luna and all his friends from ponyville.

"Welcome Spike. Its good to see you." Smile brightly down at the Drake.

"Um... Hello Princess... Its, er, its good to see you too. I think." Spike greeted as got up off of the dirt path way.

Spike Looked around him self, he seemed to be in Ponyville's town centre but something felt off about it. The world had a certain glow or shine to it, and there were no pony about trotting along. Spike looked up at the sun it was mid day but no pony was out either working, shopping or just having general fun. Then the obvious hit him, the sun was out, the skies were clear, it looked like a beautiful summers day in Ponyville. But last he remembered it was winter and a snow storm was going on outside, something was wrong.

"Please Spike. There's no need for formalities in the afterlife!" Luna Smiled.

"What?!" It was like Luna open a flood gate as he remembered jumping off of the Canterlot castle on to the Debris below.

"Luna!" Celestia scowled her sister.

"What?" Luna shrugged not seeing the harm.

"I was going to brake it to him gently. But now I might as well tell him every thing." Celestia Glared at Luna.

"His a tough drake he'll be fine Tia." Luna Waved her hoof dismissively.

"That's not the point Lulu." Celestia cleared her throat before talking to Spike. "Yes, your dead, but don't be upset you stopped Star Swirl and Equestria is Safe thanks to you."

That information gave Spike some relief that he didn't leave Equestria in danger "Okay then... So where are we? It looks like Ponyville it looks and feels off, I can tell."

Celestia smiled at Spike. "He really had got to smart for his own good" Celestia thought. "At the moment we are in the waiting place. See its undecided if its your time to go into the afterlife or back home to Equestria. And the reason it looks like ponyville is its the place you feel most Safe. You see everyponies waiting Place is different, My waiting place was the Canterlot Gardens."

"My Waiting Place was my bedroom with Twilight in Canterlot castle." Luna Spoke up.

Spike felt bad as Luna mentioned Twilight. "Luna Im sorry, But Twilight lost her eye sight and I-"

Luna put her hoof over the purple Dragon's mouth silence him. "I know, I saw everything and you tried everything, also you cant do everything. You can only do your best and from what I saw you did exactly the that."

"You Guys saw everything?" Spike ask curiously.

"Yes we did. And before we hand you over to your friends I want to talk to you. I've even got Rainbow Dash holding Pinkie back." Spike look behind Celestia and true to form Rainbow was hold Pinkie back, Pinkies arms flailing about despite to reach Spike. "I want to tell you Spike that this was always your Destiney Spike. You was always going to be Equestria's guardian and I could be prouder Spike. You always Put Equestria first time and time again, always being there as its protector. Equestria will always need a Spike to keep them safe." Celestia pulled the drake in hugging Spike Tightly. Celestia never had a foal and Spike closest thing to a son she could have. Celestia let go of Spike drying her eyes with her hoof. "Now. I think I've kept you from your friends long enough."

Spike Smiled at Celestia she was the closest thing to mum then anypony else. "Thanks Mum." Spike left to walk over to his friends only to be knocked over By Pinkie

"Its super duper good to see you." Pinkie Squeezed Spike Tightly.

"Its... good... to see... you too." Spike replied.

"Come on Pinkie stop crushing Spike." Rainbow laughed pulling Pinkie off of the drake

"It sure is good to see ya sugarcube." Applejack greeted while offered her hoof to the Purple Dragon, to which he greatly accepted.

"Thanks, its good to see you all. Including you Fluttershy and you little Rosie, I see you two at the back." Spike says Seeing Fluttershy stand reversely with Rosie.

"I would like to tell you something, just in case if you go back. Because I don't want Anon feeling bad. If that's ok, that is." Fluttershy walked up to Spike with Rosie.

"Sure what is it?"

"Well, I want you to tell Anon we don't blame him for Rosie's death. We don't blame you either just in case If you thought that." just then Applejack stood next to Fluttershy with Rosie.

"No we don't, it we're an accident no pony or Dragon we're at fault." Applejack nuzzled Fluttershy and Rosie.

"Thank you. Both of you, it means a lot." Spike smiled.

"No Problem Partner just being truthful." Applejack tipped her hat.

"Hey Spike I have to have a word with you As Scootaloo's older sister?" Rainbow held a stern face.

"Um, sure..."

"As an older sister I must tell you've done awesome with Scootaloo and I couldn't be happier with how you've looked after her. Not that she need looking after of course, but you get the sentiment." Rainbow's faced softened to a warm smile extended her hoof for hoof bump.

Spike made his claw in to a fist bumped and her hoof. "Cheers dash, it means a lot."

"No Problem Bud. Now no more mushy stuff."

"You got it Rainbow."

"Spike! Gotta tell you something as well!" Pinkie Bounced in front of the dragon.

"Sure what's up Pinkie?"

"Well first off why did the writer make this story so Celestia damn depressing, like was he going emo or something, geez." Pinkie looks At theponywriter22 with stern eyes.

Spike looked At Pinkie confused, but then Smiled at how she hadn't changed. "Okay... anything else?"

"Yes! Thank you for looking out for Anon. I know killing Anon would of stop big meanie Star Swirly as so thanks for not killing him Spikey." Pinkie Gave Spike a light hug.

"I wasn't going to let Anon die for me I am the one who protects everypony else its my job." Spike answer waving it off.

Pinkie stopped bouncing too look at Spike seriously. "I know that's what makes you brilliant. Also if you go back tell Anon im happy that he found happiness with Applebloom."

"Wow that's big of you Pinkie. I'll be sure to tell him if I return that is." Spike smiled

"Yah also tell anon if doesn't treat Applebloom right he got me to deal with ya hear." Applejack warned.

"Will do." Spike chuckled.

"Oh I do Love a good a reunion." An ominous voice announced.

"Who said that?" Rosie asks?

"That would be me dear little Rosie, Discord the god chaos and disorder." Discord appeared next to Spike.

"Discord!" Fluttershy Galloped over to the Draconequus to be greeted by Discords open arms hugging her tightly.

"I missed you too Fluttershy." Discord Smiled.

"How are you even here?" Rainbow asks confused.

"Well apparently resisting Master Nightmare was enough to get into the good books. Discord Explained.

"Good im Glad. You earned it." Spike gave Discord a pat on the back.

"Thank you Spike I-" Discords words fell away as he saw Celestia.

Discord Put Fluttershy down gently and teleported in front of the White alicorn. "Its been to long my love." Discord leaned over and Kissed Celestia on the lips.

"Too long Discord. Too Long" Celestia smiled at discord.

There was a long silent pause caused by the shocked Ponies around the couple until Spike called out "Called it!"

"You did so well to get here Discord." the blue alicorn prised.

"Thanks Lulu it was tough I could tell you, but it was all for Celestia." discord stretched his arms clicking his figures.

"Its a shame your in waiting too. you also my go back to join the living." Celestia sighed sadly

"WHAT?!" Discord and Spike exclaimed.

"But I died long time ago?" Discord scratched his head in confusion.

Cadence Stared at the ground while she spoke. "Yes, But you was taken from a time you were obviously were not meant to be taken from. Otherwise you wouldn't be here. You would be with Twilight in the other realm. The only reason we are here is so we can greet and meet you both until its decided weather or not you stay or go."

Spike's eyes go wide in shock. "Twilights dead?"

"Yes she died in battle defending Nightfall against King Sombra." Luna Explained sadly

"Well This sucks!" Discord Crossed his arms frowning.

"I know this isn't ideal but-" Celestia was cut off as Spike shouted.

"Can anyone else feel that?!" Spike asks alarmed.

Discord Frowns, scratching his head "I cant feel anything."

The Day After Spike's death.

Scootaloo and Blazing were side by side flying through the Equestrian skies towards the village they had been using as a temporary home and base. "Are you Sure" Scootaloo asks unsure not wanting to get her hopes up.

After his father's last words, Blazing was sure that there was way to Save his dad. So he told Scootaloo not want to tell Agile just in case it didn't work. Once Blazing told his mum what Spike said, Scootaloo decided on the Spot to go to the village. Blazing looked his mum in they eyes while they flew "Dead certain"

"I hope so!" Scootaloo swallowed a lump in her throat.

"Why are we flying there? I could of teleported us there quicker." Blazing asks.

"I need to stretch out my wings I haven't flew in a while since being ill. that's why." Scootaloo's answer seemed to have shut Blazing up since he couldn't come up a good counter argument, instead he remained silent. Once arriving at they tucked in their wings and turned to each other. "Where should we check first?" Scootaloo asks looking at her son.

"Well best bet would be the house you and dad stayed in here." Blazing surgusted point to the exact house.

"Sounds good to me Blazing." Scootaloo answered followed Blazing.

Blazing and Scootaloo searched the house from top to bottom. searching through draws and cupboards, they turned the furniture over but yet they found nothing. "I don't get it. This is where you stayed, where else would he keep it?" Blazing asks aloud.

Scootaloo stood their and ponder for a bit thinking about where Spike spent most of his time while they were there. "Well your father trained him self in the cave by the mountains most of the time he was here."

"Well its better then nothing mum." With that Scootaloo and Blazing made their way to the cave, their hopes still strong.

The cave was dark and damp it led to Blazing lighting the torches with his fire breath. The cave wasn't relatively big but big enough to hid something in here. "Why don't you search in the back while I search in up here in the front?"

"Way ahead of you mum." Blazing trotted further into the cave lighting up a few more torches along the way.

Scootaloo start by searching the inside of the walls and the floor, checking for any secret compartments that Spike might of hidden what ever it was they were looking for. After find nothing Scootaloo turned to the next idea, The cave was littered with rock piles at least on of them had to have what they were looking for. After taking a down all of the smaller rock piles, Scootaloo made her way over to the biggest rock pile. Her hopes were wavering, they had been search this town for while and they hadn't seen any sign of anything left behind. This rock pile in front of her was her last hope, with that in mind she began tearing down the heavy rocks. Scootaloo struggled with a few rocks but her sheer determination pushed her though, all that was left was a small wooden chest. Scootaloo's eyes widening in surprise and joy. "BLAZING! I found something!"

Blazing galloped over to his mum. "What did you find?"

"This chest!" Scootaloo point at the ground at where it was.

"This is it. I can feel it." Blazing put his horn to the chest unlocking and opening the chest.

Inside was a piece of paper, chalk and a single gem. The paper read; A Possible way to save Scootaloo! must alter spell! It needs blood to work! and underneath was the spell it self.

From the pits Tartarus bring back those who were lost in death, those of pure dark magic to under my control for my own use keeping me alive for the rest of eternity.

Blazing Looked up at Scootaloo with joy. "I think I can get dad back but its gonna take time!"

"How long?" Scoots asks worried.

"I would say a week at the most?" Blazing answered.

"Better get working then." Scootaloo orders in happy tone.

"Yes ma'am!" Blazing saluted with his hoof.

In Canterlot:One week later After Spike's death

The Snow had turned to rain melting what was left of the Snow on the ground away. Agile held a Funeral For Spike In the ceremony hall's where Cadence and Shining Armour got married and Twilight was crowned Princess of friendship. You and all of Spikes closest friends were there; Ember, Cadence, the Dazzlings, Applebloom and the mane 7 stayed. Even Nightfall and Ace turned up out of respect to the dead King.

The only Ponies not to show up was Queen Scootaloo and Prince Spike, wife and child of the dead drake. The pair had been missing all week and could not be found. While the entirety of Equestria came to Canterlot and stood outside in the rain out of love, remorse and respect for Spike.

Once everypony had taken their seats, Agile got up from her and took her place at the podium beside the coffin. Agile cleared her throat getting everyponies attention before talking. "We are here again to say good by to another fallen ruler. But Spike was different From his adoptive Sister Twilight. Spike ruled with a heavy heart but he gave that heart to anypony who need his help, No matter the size of the problem he was there to listen and give advice his wisdom knew no bounds. Not only was Spike a great king but a great Father, I can recall many a happy day Playing games and... and celebrating Birthdays or Hearts Warming's." Agile stopped to dry the tears in her eyes as the memories came flooding in. She couldn't continue and took her seat back in the crowds pouring her eyes out.

You take it apon your self and trot up to the podium continuing from Agile. "Um.. well. Not Only was Spike a great king and father but an great soldier as well. He Saved Equestria time and time again on behave of all of us and for the this reason I say we name him Equestria's Guardian. A brave Drake who did so much for so many others."

"And he's not done yet!" Everypony turned around and to their shock Spike stood in the doorway between Scootaloo and Agile.

"Daddy!" Agile gallop into her fathers loving arms hugging Tightly as tears streamed down her face. "I thought I lost you."

"No, I always be here when you need me." After Cuddling Agile Spike trotted down towards the coffin and took his place in front of the podium. "Im sorry that I faked my own death Everypony but I had to be sure all the evil dark magic is gone. And now that I am. I have returned, but I Will be stepping Down as ruler of Equestria and these will be my last orders as king. First I will Have Flurry Heart take place as ruler of the night to replace of my Late sister Twilight." Spike looks to Flurry. "I think she has earned it. Flurry Heart you have shown to be a very capable Pony I have no doubt you will do a grand job in place of Twilight. And I know she wouldn't be happier knowing that you had taken her place."

"Thank my King, I wont let you down." Flurry Heart bowed.

Spike Cleared his throat as spoke again "And to take my Place as ruler of Equestria is None other then my own Daughter Agile Sparkle!"

"Father do you think im ready?" Agile ask unsure.

"Agile You shown Wisdom Courage, Kindness and up most compassion. You are ready Sweetheart." Spike Smiled down at Flurry. "But note this everypony, as take my leave from being your King this does not mean if Equestria is danger that I wont be there. No I will always be there when Equestria needs me. I will always be Equestria Guardian."
