It was night had fallen and everypony got ready for the plan but Spike pulled Ace to One side for a chat for a second. "You better look after my Wife properly." Spike warned putting on a dark tone of voice.

"I will as long as you look after my husband's mother. I personally couldn't care, I don't like what she did to Nightfall, however he seems to care for some reason." Ace warned back not buckling under the pressure.

"How dare you! She is my Sister of course I will protect her and don't you dare insult her again or you will have more then Changelings to worry about!" Smoke blew from Spike nostrils as Warning stood strong.

"Well I do have my Daughter with me, she is my first priority. Just so the were clear?" Ace wasn't backing down he would be intimidated.

"Go try it!" Spike glared daggers at Ace.

"Ya aren't at it again are you two?" Applebloom stood in front Spike Ace pushing them apart with her hooves.

"Nah just a friendly chat is the right Spike?" Ace tone of voice and body had changed completely.

Spike didn't answer but continue to stare daggers at Ace only now starting to make him feel uncomfortable as he saw amount of rage in his glare. Applebloom looked right at Spike's face "Yeah Right, friendly my bare flank. Anyway Spike Scootaloo wants to see you now."

Spike was knocked of his trance at sound of hearing his wife's name be mentioned "What's that?"

"Scootaloo wants to see you now." Applebloom repeats.

"Alright im coming" Spike gives one final glare at Ace before leaving with Applebloom.

You left the house and entered the one next you and made you way up stairs as Applebloom waited down stairs by the door giving Spike and Scootaloo some time alone. Spike open the door and Found Scootaloo sat in the bed her face looking palest has the only light was the fireplace it kept warm glow keeping Scootaloo warm. Scootaloo didn't even look up at Spike, she just stare at the fire a frown on her as plan as day.

Spike sat on the chair next to Scootaloo bed. "Hey good looking, how are you feeling?" Spike spoke softly as looked at his wife.

"You're leaving soon aren't you?" Scootaloo asks sounding weak still staring at the fire.

"Yeah not long now. The rest of them are just making preparations." Spike answered as he brushed her mane with his claws.

Scootaloo turns her face away from looking at the fire to looking at Spike. "This is our last time together."

Spikes face fell "No it isn't, im going to save you. Im getting Twilights old friends back and they will stop The Master and ill get him to tell me the spell that kept him alive so long and then Ill come back and I will save you!"

"I will already be dead by the time you come back with Twilights friends Im on my lest I-V bag and its half gone." Scootaloo looked up at Spike smiling softly.

"No. I will save you. You cant stop me from trying, Because I cant live with out you Scoot." Tears ran down Spikes face as held Scootaloo's hoof.

"Yes. Yes you can Equestria needs it Guardian and so does Agile and Diamond." Scootaloo lead forward as much as she her eyes closed, Spike Met Scootaloo half way and kissed her gently. Spike pulled away his eyes still closed as the pain pierced his heart he knew in that Scootaloo was right, but he wouldn't admit it then all of his hope would be gone.

Spike opened his eyes and Smiles at Scootaloo softly, he got up off f the chair and took his armour off and climbed on to the bed and laid next to his wife probably for the last time. "I love you."

Scootaloo enjoyed the warm embrace of her husband wrapping his arm, tail and wing around her. "I love you too."

Spike smiled as thought about his past with Scootaloo. "Do You remember our first date?"

"How can I forget we sat and Watched the Meteor Shower." Scootaloo thought about that night and smiled. "Everything seemed so much easier back then. No fighting, No war. Just a future with Spike to look forward too." Scootaloo thought to her self, Then a new thought hit her "Spike?"

"Yeah?" Spike answered content.

"This Master Nightmare is he the reason Behind everything, behind why King Sombra attacked all those years ago?"

"Yeah he is."

"Make him Pay." A tear found its way down her cheek as he thought about the pony who stole her perfect future.

Spike and Scootaloo fell asleep as they held each other Minutes past but it wasn't long until Applebloom entered and work the Pair up "Im Sorry But its time ta go." Spike and Scootaloo looked at each other and frowned before they shared a tender kiss.

Spike got up and put his armour back on, but before he followed Applebloom Spike Walked over to the dresser and pulled out two different family photo's. The First Photo Was taken on Hearts Warming Eve, Spike sat on the sofa with Scootaloo next to him and young Agile and Diamond Blaze sat around as Spike read a story. The second Photo was taken on the day When Agile got her cutie mark, they all stood together happily as family unit.

Spike place the one of photo's on Scootaloo side cabinet and kept the other in his suit of armour. Spike gave Scootaloo one last kiss "I love you." With that said Spike closed the door and left to find Twilight.

"Anon has left its just me and you." Twilight tell Spike as she could hear him making his way over.

"Okay" Twilight could tell he was sad but didn't want to press him on it yet.

"Well, you ready?"

"As ill ever be." Spike answers, he could care less as all of his thoughts were on Scootaloo

"Then lets go." Spike Teleported away

In Vanhoover

Vanhoover was the only city that wasn't under King Sombra's mind control. the entire city had been turned into a factory build weapons and making medicine. Snow had began to fall and everypony and Changeling had been pulled out of the warmth and ordered to stand out side in the middle of the city late this night by orders of Lord Tirek. Everypony look forward towards the stage as nine special Changeling Troop's stood behind Lord Tirek. Everypony and Changeling that stood in front of Lord Tirek feared his gaze, all of the ponies preyed for King Spike return soon. In hearts of everypony around Equestria they knew their King would return but it was a matter of staying alive until he returned.

"Two years ago two ponies were spotted stealing medical supplies! They were believed to be apart of King Spike little rebellion!" As soon as Tirek mentioned Spike whispers went through the crowd as well as hope filled their heads.

"QUITE!!!! Now I know that news of this nature would fill you with... Hope. Which would lead some of you to aid them in gaining their supply's! But I a sure you that King Spike will not win he has no chance of succeeding! That leads me to my offer! Who ever aided these criminal's will have a free pardon if they tell me the whereabouts of Spikes hide out is!" This lead all of the ponies to start whispering yet again to quickly stopping not wanting to anger Lord Tirek. "You have an hour and if no pony comes forward I will move on to torturing each and every citizen of Vanhoover. You may leave until I call you back in an hour. oh and if any of you are think of running away there is shield over the entire city." Tirek left the stage with the nine Changeling following behind him.

Tirek bowed his head as he walked into the tent the nine changeling followed and close the tent behind them "Well lets contact him." Tirek told the nine Changelings sounding impatient.

The changelings Placed four stones on the table they looked Beatles. The magic began to work the stone wings open revealing green magic from inside connecting from one stone the other making the Shape of a square that combined together to make a portal. The Master Nightmare's face appeared on the Portal causing Tirek and the nine Changeling. "Status update?"

Tirek stood up straight and looked at the master straight in the face. "We are now in Vanhoover. I just gave the offer to the ponies now we wait for Somepony to come forward and if they don't I will to torture as many ponies in front of the others until somepony will admit to the aid of the criminals."

"Good, good. No Pony or Drake will stop me I will rule forever as it was meant to be balance is-." The Master was interrupted as Changeling trooper spoke from out side.

"My Lord we have somepony here willing to give the whereabouts of Spike location!" The pony in question stood next the trooper frightened out her mind.

Lord Tirek opened the tent to let the mare In; he welcomed her in with a warm smile which did not suit his face at all he opened the tent wide letting her in, she nervously trotted into the tent. Once The mare stepped in her eyes went wide in fear as she saw the was on the portal, Tirek got a chair and placed it behind her letting sit down.

"Don't be Scared my dear, in fact be proud you are helping your kingdom to stop these criminals from hurting anypony else. Now tell us your name?" Master Nightmare spoke kindly letting the mare fall into a false sense of security.

"Im R-Ruby Snow Master Nightmare." Ruby looked up at the Master

"Well Ruby, I have to go Something has happened in Ponyville. I will leave this your Capable hooves Tirex."

"Yes of course my Master" The Master left leaving Tirek and the Nine Changeling's to talk to Ruby Snow. "Now where were we."

Ruby told Tirek everything from how she helped the You and Applebloom enter the hospital and get the supplies to where your base is she even showed them on a map so that they could get there. "That's all I know. You promise me and my foal will be safe?"

"But of course." Tirek answered which made Ruby take sigh of relief "Your foal will be taken by troops and will become the best soldier for Master Nightmares personal army. But your not so lucky." Tirek took the earth ponies magic then snapped her neck. "Come on we have a drake to catch."

Spike and Twilight sat waiting on the out skirts of Ponyville a top of a hill and waited for the distraction to happen. Twilight frowned as she heard nothing Spike didn't say a thing, Twilight could feel an atmosphere and it wasn't to do with the job.

"Spike!" Twilight called out unsure if Spike was still there.

"Yeah Twilight im still here, I haven't gone anywhere." Spike reassured Twilight as he continued to look out over Ponyville.

"Your awfully quite is there something you wanna talk about?" Twilight asks concerned as she put on her sisterly tone on.

"No Twilight I don't want to talk about it." Spike pulls out the photo of his Family and kiss the image of Scootaloo. "Miss you baby." Spike thought as he Pictured Scootaloo in his head.

"Are you sure?" Twilight asks once more but before Spike could answer, Twilight hears Massive explosion off in the distance.

"Nightfall did it. He wiped out a few trees as well and started a fire as well, it'll create quite the distraction." Spike Watched Ponyville as hundreds Changeling's head towards the explosion. "Its time, come on."

Spike help Twilight down the hill making sure she didn't loose a hoofing and fall down hurting her self. Spike and Twilight rushed to the closest house hiding out the way of the Changelings. With every opening Spike helped Twilight move to each house dodging out the of Changelings that's came past. The castle was far now Spike was just waiting for an opening, but time was getting on and the guards outside the Castle wasn't moving So Spike picked up a rock and threw it at a bin on the opposite side. The rock gave them enough time that They made their way behind the castle. Spike helped Twilight to the right place to stand so she could open the door to the secret passage.

"Ready?" Spike asks.

"Ready!" Twilight aimed her horn at the wall and shot purple magic revealing a door the secret Passage.

"That's it lets go." Spike opened the door finding dark Stairs leading down. "Well this looks inviting, maybe you should fly down Twi so you don't hurt your self?"

"That's Probably for the best." Twilight agreed and started to flap her wings.

Spike entered first, Twilight followed behind but not forgetting to close the door behind them. Spike lit every torch he came across with his mouth. "Spike we will save Scootaloo." Twilight reassured Spike.

"Lets just focus on the mission." Spike blank Twilight and Continued their way down until they entered pitch black room.

Spike ignited all of the torches revealing the room to be completely bare accept for the mirror with a book on top. Twilight and Spike stood in front of the mirror. "Shell we?" Twilight asks getting into a running stance.

"Lets do it!" Both Twilight and Spike run into the Mirror entering the portal.

Back at the village

Nightfall had teleported back to the village after helping Twilight and Spike to help his husband keep their daughter and his aunt alive. Ace turned around to see Nightfall behind him, Ace was over joyed to see him alive he galloped over to Nightfall and kissed him passionately. A few minutes passed before Ace had to pull away needing air.

"How'd it go?" Ace asks pulling Nightfall into a deep hug.

"Went well, I knocked a couple of trees down may have started a fire I don't know, I didn't stay long. How's it been here?" Nightfall asks as Ace lets go.

"Quite, she hasn't made a noise and Crimson is a sleep in the other room." Ace answered sounding bored.

"Im just gonna check on them." Nightfall says opening the door behind him.

"Be my guest." Ace answers as he sits down in on the sofa yawning.

Little did they know Tirek and nine Changelings had just arrived out side the Village. "That Mare was lying there's nothing here!" One of the Changelings growled in anger.

Tirek Smiled as saw the magic that was be use. "Oh my short sighted friend, you just don't see it." a fire ball appeared between Tirek's horns suddenly a laser was produced by the ball which destroyed the shield with a loud smash revealing the village, Tirek Smiled at his success. "Search every house!"

Nightfall and Ace watched from the window in horror. "Time to go, Ace you get Crimson and ill get Scootaloo." Ace nodded in reply and galloped off to get Crimson while Nightfall galloped off to get Scootaloo.

Nightfall barged into Scootaloo's room. "Time to go Auntie." Nightfall began packing up quickly.

"Yes it is and your leaving me behind." Scootaloo told nightfall with a serious tone.

"What why?" Nightfall stopped packing to look at Scootaloo.

"Im dying and Spike wont be able to Keep me alive forever. I can at least delay them." Scootaloo answered.

"For what reason?" Nightfall asks as Ace enters the room.

"They will want to know where the others have gone and if can send them in the wrong direction instead of them waiting here to ambush Anon and Spike." Scootaloo answers.

"She cant be serious, were not leaving her on her alone." Ace asks as feared Spike reaction.

"Yes Ace It looks like we are." Nightfall trotted Past Ace angrily over to Scootaloo giving her a light hug to which She gratefully accepted. Nightfall pulled away from the hug to Pull out a knife from his saddle bag to give to Scootaloo. "If their gonna kill you? Kill them first." Nightfall planted a kiss on Scootaloo's cheek as well as wiping a few tears and mad his way over to Ace and Crimson Who was still a Sleep on Ace's back.

"What do we tell Spike?" Ace asks as Nightfall stands next to him.

"Tell him I love him and stop being a cry baby you have Equestria to think about." Scootaloo smirked

"Thank you Aunt Scoot." Nightfall smiled sadly.

"Heh no problem, now get going?" Scootaloo glared at them until Nightfall Teleported with his family.

Scootaloo laid waiting and it wasn't long until she hears the Changelings enter the house Scootaloo's heart almost stopped. Scootaloo reached over to the photo that Spike had placed on the bed stand and kisses the image of Spike Goodbye. "If im gonna die, im gonna die fighting." Scootaloo hid the knife under the blankets.

A Changeling open the door finding Scootaloo in side. "Sir in here!"

Tirek entered the room and gave an evil Grin when he saw Scootaloo. "Hello your Highness!"
