Bits and pieces, nothing specific, of course; the phrase could mean anything right now. Pupils dilated, hairs on end, heart thumping, all signs of a primal fear. The stallion darted his eyes around the scene whilst the sound of growling emanated from every direction; he was completely and utterly terrified, to be blunt. A puddle of his shame formed beneath him as he cowered under the scrutinizing gaze of the beasts, unable to act or think for himself. He was helpless.
Coiled around a tall hanging branch connected to a large oak tree was a large intestine, covered in several bodily fluids from simple blood to stomach acid. It snaked around the wood with ease and was connected to a deceased mare; one that seemed to be hung by own organs. A large gaping hole was on her torso, revealing all of her missing organs, leaving behind an empty body save a cracked rib cage. On the pony's face lied an expression of pure terror, her eyes wide open in horror; much like the stallion.
Embers of a dying fire glided through the air, leading the lone stallion’s vision to a crackling fire. Resting on top of the fire was a burnt corpse, flakes of fur and flesh sizzling in the flames, permeating a pungent, rotten odor throughout the air, coursing through the survivor’s nostrils. His eyes jumped to the golden unicorn horn staked in the cadaver’s chest, sticking out like a sword trapped in stone. The embers swirled around the undamaged horn, seizing the wind in their grasp.
The stallion's chest heaved as he desperately struggled to breathe, his lungs incapable of receiving precious oxygen; he even felt the calm currents of wind against his coat cease. Clutching his chest, he collapsed to the ground, darkness beginning to envelop his vision in a peaceful sensation. Rays of embers emerged from the fire, and snaked across the limbs of the survivor, walling him in a suit of fire. It hurt; he could sense the flesh melting off of his bones.
Across from him, he witnessed the death of another pony; she choked on her own blood as the figure slit her throat. The elegant blade, marked with symbolic words and rough, blood soaked edges, slashed across the mare's throat, the all-so-familiar crimson liquid gushing out of the large gash, staining the poor pony's neck as she dropped dead. The figure kicked her limp corpse, discarding it as it approached the stallion, allowing him to observe it more.
It had a long, snow white cloak covering it's body, the only revealed part being its hooves; which were a shade of grey, close to a dark white. It snapped its head around towards the stallion’s direction, and he caught a glimpse of its menacing, piercing red eyes. Clouds of air billowed out of its nostrils as it snarled, stomping its way to the stallion, almost as if it knew he was watching it.
As it grew closer, incomprehensible whispers resounded in his ears, similar to how ponies have hushed conversations. Blood oozed from appearing holes in the cloak, transforming the white dye to dark red. Contorted laughs echoed from the dead bodies around him; the hanging mare guffawed at the lone stallion as she voluntarily swung back and forth, her limbs holding onto the noose which came from own body.
Reaching him, the survivor could only watch as the figure stabbed the sword into the ground next to his head, dirt caking his ember-covered body. The cloaked beast crouched down and grinned wickedly at the stallion, using its hoof to poke and prod at the pony in agony, caressing his crotch; its grey hoof traced circles around his stallionhood and balls.
“Do you not remember? You always were so forgetful, brother,” It spoke, its voice clearly indicating it as a he. “Do you remember when we were colts… On the beach, the waves crashing into us as we played and laughed and jumped.” He bent his hoof around the sword and gently pulled it out of the ground. “The beach… Ah, yes… The water reminds me of a certain… Liquid, I so enjoy…”
Sounds of the ocean seeped into the stallion's ears, reminding him of a trip he and his family went on in his youth; he never had a brother, though. Using the blunt end of the blade, He rubbed it across the stallion's sheath, back and forth, until the tip was pressed against the entrance underneath his tail. The survivor wanted to whimper and scream so. Much. But air still evaded him… The cloaked stranger must be keeping him alive somehow.
“Oh, boy… We had sooooo much fun that day… The love, the kissing, the sex… Who knew I could enjoy incest?!” He shouted before ramming the sword into the stallion’s anus, tearing his inner walls apart. Despite his deteriorating mind, his body betrayed him and he remained still as the hooded beast shoved the sword in-and-out, penetrating him over-and-over again.
“Don't you enjoy it, Dusk?” The stallion watched as the sharp blade disappeared inside of him until it protruded out of his stomach, his organs coiled around the blade much like the branch on the tree nearby. He sat on top of the stallion named Dusk, and wrapped his hooves around the survivor's neck, strangling him viciously and mercilessly.
“Fuck you, you-”
