There once was a pony named Jackson Wanderer. As a foal, he read many books that told of adventure, which thrilled him more than any other thing that was in his life back then. This is why he decided to become a cartographer, after graduating secondary school. His career leads him onto things that he had never imagined before: fighting monsters, meeting important delegates. But he was blind to his real fate, which begins soon after he was battling death in the desert. Daring Do, the moral pony she was, found him laying on the scorching desert sands when she resolved to quench her thirst for adventure, then all unfolds there. Let the story of Jackson's life begin…

I have noticed that this fic may be cringy at times, as I have read it over myself, and these issues will be addressed after I have finished the fic. Updates to the story will become less frequent, as I am starting to pick up pace, and write longer chapters.
