Again.
Ha, it's not like anypony else would use this old journal. Right?
Anyways, I went exploring after that small nap I took.
Well, it wasn't that small. I'd say seven or eight hours, perhaps?
I hope I don't waste my matches on this darn lantern.
So, I went a stone's throw away from this spot with the lantern, and guess what I found?!
Oh.
Right.
You can't talk.
I found a lake, so at least I won't die of dehydration!
It's really pretty, and there's also mushrooms everywhere.
The only funny thing is that I could swear that I heard another set of footsteps.
But I'm in a cave, soooo it's bound to echo.
Silly me.
Hahaha!
I'm tired, so off to bed, I guess.

I didn't hear anything.

I tapped on the walls to make sure and they're rock solid!
Maybe the poor thing is delusional?
The mushrooms are running out.
I'm gonna get more.

That way, if he writes again, I'll notice.

No lantern-light can penetrate it.

I'm still hungry.

What I'm about to tell you should not be real.
I went down to the lake again, with the glowing mushrooms.
After I had taken a drink, I lifted my head up to see another pony a few feet away from where I was.
He was my exact copy!
I can't believe it!
We greeted each other, and it seems that he's not a changeling.
He even has my memories!
I gave him a few mushrooms and showed him where I was staying at the moment.
He had a strange look when he saw the journal, but I think it's just his first time seeing one.
He also said that he had come out of the water.
What does that mean?
Can a pony be born from the still depths of the waters?
Did I come from the water?
Where did I come from?
I will investigate more tomorrow.
He's sleeping right now, and I guess I'll join him.

My name is Noteworthy, and I'm trapped in a cave.
There's no way out that I know of right now, and I only have a week's supplies.
I'm writing by lantern-light, and it's pretty dim already. I hope the light lasts for a little longer.
I really can't believe this is happening.
