This is a strictly R-Rated Double-D-Starlight ship. It contains spoilers for The Enforcer and Her Blackmailers, but isn't a sequel to anything. It is the second story in the Redemption Commentaries cycle. The story adheres to canon up to but not including the season 6 finale (with my backstories filling in the gaps).
