Chapter 2, Ariana's story
Eventually, the ponies sat down and settled in, looking rather ridiculous sitting on the purple cushions, that formed a circle. The mare finally said,"I shall tell you all my story, but first my name is Ariana Lagoona Heart." She sat down on her purple couch, her horn lit up, taking off her worn cloak. Every pony was complete and utterly shocked. As she was an alicorn.
"You're an alicorn!" Twilight gulped.
Ariana stared at her with reproachful eyes and sneered,"Obviously, as I have the horn and wings."
"But," Luna asked, "How is this possible? There are only supposed to be five alicorns!"
Ariana rolled her eyes and mumbled,"Well I guess you're wrong." "I guess I'll start my story know, if no one will interrupt me." The other ponies, still confused, but did not interrupt again. "Good, well I was born Ariana Lagoona Heart, heir to the Airadele Kingdom. My dad was the king, then he married my mom a Pegasus. I was born an alicorn like my dad and many others before me. When I was six, my parents decided to have another child, she was born a Pegasus. They decided to name her Mia Moora Cadenza, who you all know as Cadence. I was delighted to have a younger sister, but Mia always seemed odd around me. She never wanted to talk or hang out with me. Sometime later, The Battle of the Lands broke out, our father fought in the war and was killed. Our kingdom won the war, but our family was depressed from the loss of our father. Me and Mia eventually got over it, still missing him, but our mom was never the same. It seemed like she lost part of herself when he died. She still had a kingdom to run, which she could hardly do, resulting in me doing a lot of the work." Ariana sighed, then continued, " When I was thirteen and Mia seven, she asked me to go out for a fly. At first I was shocked, because she never wanted anything to do with me before. Then I was thrilled, because she wanted something to do with me. I accepted, lied down the papers I was signing, and followed her. We didn't talk at all for the hour we flew. Then she suddenly headed for the ground, I followed. We then landed on the ground, I began to ask her what we were doing. She didn't respond then suddenly pushed me into a ten foot hole. I broke both my wings, and was panicking. I yelled to Cadenza, 'Help' she didn't respond, but kicked down a gigantic Boulder down the hole. It landed on me I screamed bloody murder, but no one heard me. It was no use, I eventually gave up, tears filled my eyes for hatred of my sister. Then my cutie mark appeared." She raised her wings revealing a Purple Heart as dark as her eyes with a black liquid dripping from the bottom.
"You didn't get your cutie mark till you were thirteen?" Applejack blurted out.
Ariana looked at her and sighed, "Well yes, natural alicorns tend to get their cutie marks later then regular foals. As it is more difficult for them to learn their true talents."
"What is your talent?" Rainbow asked.
"The opposite of Cadenza's, or hate." Ariana glanced at Cadence, then returning her eyes to the rest of the group.
"How can your talent be hate?" Starlight asked.
Ariana sighed, "Because, I'm very good at it, as most other talents usually are. Now I guess I'll continue, so I didn't know what pushed my sister to do this, the only answer I thought of was jealousy. Is that true Cadenza?"
Cadence gulped, meeting eye contact with her sister, and whispered, "Yes."
"Okay then, Cadenza was always jealous, then decided to try and kill me. I didn't understand why she could hate me so much, as to try and kill me. A week later when I was on the verge of dying, the search party my mother sent out found me. They took me home to my mother, who was in hysterics. When I told her what my sister had done she simply said, 'We won't talk about her ever again.' I didn't talk about her anymore, but always thought about her and how someday I'd get my revenge. Revenge for what she did to me, revenge for what she did to our mother, who was still grieving over our father. Soon after I turned sixteen, I met Wind Gust. He was a grey Pegasus with a black mane, he was a year older than I was and he guarded the castle. We soon started to see each other more often, and he became my personal guard. Two years later, we got married, I eventually told him about my sister. He willed me to forget about her and try to forgive her, it worked. With his help, I began to forgive her, something that wouldn't last. Five years after our marriage we had a filly. We named her Rose, after my mother, Lavina, after his mother, and Heart, after me. They were my pride and joy, the only things that ever really made me happy for a long time. But of course being me, it couldn't last. The day Rose turned five, horror struck, a smoky being trespassed into our land. He came to our city, and terrorized us. The army along with Wind fought him, leaving me to protect Rose. Wind started to fall I foolishly flew after him, tears in my eyes. He hit the ground. He was dead. Then I remembered Rose, I started to fly back to her. I saw it kill her. In that moment, I felt pure hate. I won't bore you with the details, but I destroyed it."
"I then dedicated weeks to finding out about the creature that destroyed my family. I still had a kingdom to run, but I couldn't after recent events. My understudy took care of the kingdom, I researched. I finally found what I was looking for. A book in the library, the creature was called Sombra. It enslaved the Crystal Empire, blah blah. Then I saw, 'The second time Sombra attacked, Princess of The Crystal Empire, Mia Moora Cadenza defeated it using the crystal heart.' Mia Moora Cadenza, my sister. I researched the crystal heart. It didn't defeat it. It banished it far away, to my kingdom. ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!" She shouted at Cadence. She then walked towards Cadence, her horn lit up. She screamed, "ALL YOUR FAULT!" She then collapsed before any damage could be done.
Cadence started sobbing, and knelt down next to her sister, and sobbed, "I'm so sorry."
Cadence was returned to her room, where Shining Armor went to comfort her. Her sister was just exhausted, and collapsed. The rest of the ponies had a conference. Finally after thinking for a few minutes Celestia ordered, "Well, it seems this alicorn is very powerful. Much more powerful than the crystal heart, in fact. So we will do our best to extend our friendship to her, so she does not become a threat."
The other ponies all nodded and Twilight said, "We'll do our best."

Chapter 1, A "Friendly" Visit
"Are you all ready to go?" Cadence's calm voice asked.
Every pony agreed, "yes"
Pinkie Pie screamed,"IM SO EXCITED!!!" Rainbow rolled her eyes
Twilight agreed," Me too. I mean we hardly ever get to hang out."
"UNLESS," pinkie gasped," THERES A GIANT TREAT THAT THREATENS ALL OF EQUESTRIAN!!! Which actually happens a lot." She giggled. "
"Well, I'm sure nothing like that could happen today." Cadence confirmed.
"Well, wha..." Rainbow stopped as the door opened and a pony in a black cloak walked in.
"Excuse me, but who are you?" Shining Armor questioned the pony. The pony didn't pay attention to him, walking a few feet then stopping.
"Why are you interrupting us?" Luna seemed to be asking everyone in the room.
When no pony answered Cadence stepped up to the pony, who was a little taller then her and asked, " Who are you and Why are you here?"
The pony finally taking notice of some one, smiled. Her horn glowed, lifting her hood and revealing the pony. She had a dark purple coat, an even darker purple mane with black at the tips, and a purple so dark for eyes, it was almost black. "How could you so easily forget me Mia?" If the pony was peculiar, Cadence's reaction was almost there. Cadence gulped and stepped back. The pony stepping forward right up to Cadence's muzzle and gave her a fake sad look with an even faker voice, " Mia how could you possibly forget about me so soon?" Dropping the fake voice in exchange for a harsh one, she sneered," I mean, I haven't forgotten about you, OR what YOU did."
Every pony was absoloutly speechless. Celestia finally broke the silence and asked, "Cadence are you or this fine mare going to explain this?"
The purple mare said,"I'd be delighted, to tell all about what Cadenza has been hiding from all of you for so long."
"What are you talking about Cadence tells me everything" Shining Armor justified.
"Really?" The mare sarcastically asked, "So you know all about her family? And about ME?" A look at Shining Armor's face showed he didn't.
"What in the hay is going on here?" Applejack asked.
Cadence looked down at the floor and bit her lip, she mumbled, "Let her talk."
"Oh goody!" The mare clapped together her hoofs, "But first, let me get comfortable." From thin air she summoned a small purple couch with a curved top, and purple cushions for everyone else. "Well, are you going to sit down?"
