I'm making her proud, right?
"Bye Ice Petal! Have fun!" I yelled to my little sister, she turned around to wave to me, and continued walking with her friends, who were waving 'goodbyes' to their sister's as well. I began to walk over to the three other mares,"Hey guys." I said to them.
"Howdy."
"Why hello darling."
"S'up."
They all replied, we always tend to run into each other, when dropping our younger sisters off at school,"So, what are you guys doing today?" I asked, while we were walking away from the school.
Applejack was the first to answer,"Well, me an' Mac got a lot of work to do around the farm, so we'll be busy the whole day." Rainbow Dash began to stretches her forelegs, and said,"I gotta head to the Wonderbolts HQ, we got an upcoming show, in Canterlot. I'll see you guys later." We said our goodbyes to Rainbow Dash, as she was off at the speed of sound. I'm really happy that for Rainbow Dash, she finally became a Wonderbolt!
"I'm currently working on my new fashion line. Oh, as matter fact i need to see Citrine, to see if she has the gems ordered, i don't know how she does it, but she find just about any gem, that i need." Rarity told us, even though she tells everyday, and it's Citrine's special talent after all. I swear Citrine acts like Rarity sometimes, they hangout too much, "What are you going to do Ribena?"
"Hm...I'll probably work on some new music. Octavia and i are going to perform At the Gala." I told them.
"I thought you didn't perform At the Gala anymore?" What Applejack asked was true, i stop performing at the Gala about 2 years ago, mainly because i got humiliated, big time, At the Gala. It wasn't fun, at all. It started out by just one mare, calling me fake, and saying i stole my Grandmother's music and called it my own. Then everypony started joining in, booing and shouting hurtful things.
"Your musician, make your own damn music!"
"What kind pony, steals their Grandmother's work? Unbelievable!"
"See? I told you she was fake!"
"No...i-i didn't*sniff*i swear...i-i didn't...steal...her work...*sniff*"
At that point I ran off stage, dropping my cello, i'm pretty sure Octavia called my name, but i just kept running. I was afraid, afraid to go back. I'm not really sure what happened after that, I ran till I couldn't hear any voices. I had gotten to a glass door, that lead to a balcony, I went out, and closed the door behind me. I went over to the end of the balcony, laid my head on my hooves, and cried to myself.
'I...didn't...steal...anything*sniff*i..swear...'
I stayed like that for a few minutes, until I heard the glass door open. "Please...leave...I want to be alone..."I didn't turn around to see who it was.
"Does thou truly wish to be alone?" It was Princess Luna, I turned around, while trying to wipe away my tears. I had to turned see The Princess Of The night, looking...worried?
"I-i-i..." I couldn't put my words together,"I'm sorry...Princess Luna..."That's all I could say? Yay, go me..
Princess Luna walked over to me, sit beside down, and put her wing over me, "Why is thou sorry? If anypony should be sorry, it's that mare. Not you." Princess Luna told me, and she was right, i shouldn't be sorry. It should be that mare, i couldn't quite see who she was, she was standing to far back. But why do I feel sorry?
"Tell me." Princess Luna began,"Why does thou, feel need to be 'sorry'?" The princess asked, why did I feel sorry?
"I-i don't know, why Princess..." I replied, I looked at my hooves, what do i say? I could feel my cheeks heating up, I hate it when my face goes red.
"And that's pretty much why i didn't perform At the Gala for the last 2 years." I told them, I would have told them whole thing, if i had remembered, the night I have been trying to forget about.
"Oh boy, ah remember that. Princess Celestia decided to end the night early, and let us look for ya." Applejack told me, so that's what happened, it did get really quiet after I ran out the main hall. So after about, 15 minutes of chatting, we parted ways. I headed back to an empty house, Moonlight was working, and Ice Petal was at school.
I walked up stairs to my room, 'Might as well work on some music.' I thought, I headed over to my desk, where I had my cello leaned against it, some manuscripts with empty staves, a calendar hanging above the table with today's date, and a note, which said:
5th February, go see Grandma Willow.
I stared at for a while, one could say i was frozen. "I haven't visited her in 2 years..." I felt like hitting my head off of the wall, I didn't visit her since the Gala, 2 years ago. Boy, did I feel stupid. "Right, I need to buy some flowers!" I said to myself, grabbed some bits, and ran out the house!
Only to run back, to lock the door...
I landed at the entrance of the graveyard, with flowers in my hooves, I began walking through the resting place for many ponies. I saw an apple tree down a path to my right, my first thought was,'That must be where Applejack's parents rest...' Continuing down the path, I saw a willow tree in the distance, I quickened my pace to her grave.
I saw it.
There it was.
With...flowers?
I know Mom and Dad visit, but they normally leave Roses and Tulips, not Daisy's and Lotus. Who could have left these? Couldn't have been Granddad, he hardly walk nowadays.
I sat for while wondering who could have left these flowers, until I heard a voice, saying in a English accent,"I was wondering if you were going to see Willow Meadow again." I turned around, to see a mare with a grey coat, a black mane, and a warm smile.
"Octavia? Did you leave these flowers?" I asked her, she came over and sat beside me.
Octavia replied,"Yes i did. She'll love those Tiger Lily's, you got her." Still smiling warmly
"Yeah, I know. Their her favorite." I said. "This was going to be a stupid question, but why did you bring her flowers?" Yup, definitely was a stupid question.
"Are you forgetting? She was my cello teacher as well." Octavia told me, "Don't you remember, how we used to fight sometimes?" She asked.
I put my hoof to my chin,"Oh, yeah i remember. Those fights, were silly now that i think about it." I remember one time, we fought over which key the music was in. The both of us were wrong."I didn't know that you came to visit her."
The both of us looked at the gravestone, it read:
Rest In Peace
Willow Meadow
A Mother
A Grandmother
A Teacher
A Friend
"I'd come and visit after you did, well, a few hours anyway." She began,"But when I saw no flowers, after what happened At the Gala, 2 years ago, the next year i waited to see if you would show up, but you didn't. Why is that?" Octavia asked, she looked at me waiting for an answer, I didn't meet her eyes.
"Well...I was just afraid to come, and visit her, because I was starting to think, that that ponies At the Gala, were right..." I answered, Octavia was confused at what I said.
"Why in Celestia's mane, would they be right?" She asked,"You never stole anything from Willow, you told me she inspired you, and you create beautiful music, which you dedicated to Willow. Sure, your music and Willow's, sound similar, but there is one big difference between her's and your's. You should know what it is."
Octavia was right, there was a difference between our music,"Grandma Willow wrote scores for orchestras, I write scores for strings quartets." I said, don't know why, but saying that brought a smile to my face.
Octavia put a foreleg over me, and laughed, "Precisely!"
It felt great to visit Grandma Willow again, I feel horrible for not coming to see sooner. Having Octavia here as well, just adds to that greatness. We both stayed there, for quite some time, just chatting, and telling our teacher all kinds of different stories. When we had nothing more to say, we decided to take our leave. All I ever wanted, was just to make my Gran proud. I can't really do that, if I listen to what a few ponies have to say, about my music.
"You know, we're going to need some pieces, to perform At the Gala." Octavia said, while we were walking out the graveyard. A grin formed on my face.
"Well let's get started then."

Fun Fact: You know how most of my OCs are based off of my friends, right? Well, Citrine Glow does act like Rarity a lot, it gets annoying sometime 
Feb the 5th, means a lot to me, as it's the day I had to say goodbye to my first dog, Rocky.
