It always starts off somewhere. In our case... at school. Twilight wrote in one of her extra notebooks, on a bench outside of the school, and right by the bus stop. It was the anniversary of her and her girlfriend, Sugarcoat. Well. It would be in the next two weeks. But Twilight wanted to make something special for her love before the start of: The Friendship Games. And she thought that writing a poem for her, was the perfect gift for their anniversary. Ever since our freshmen year, I only had eyes for you. Your soft, silky white and baby blue hair. Your pretty dark pink glasses. And how *smart** that you are!* I couldn't *help** but to have special feelings for yo-* Just then... her pencil snapped. "CRAP!" "Don't forget what you were going to write, don't forget what you were going to write, don't forget! Don't forget! Don't! For! GET!" She reached into her backpack and pulled out a pencil pouch. She unzipped it, and grabbed an already, freshly sharpened pencil, and immediately continued writing her poem. You were the very first student that I had ever spoken too. And although your honesty can be a bit hurtful at times, You were the only person at school who would talk to me, walk with me, and be with me More girls walked up to the bus stop, as it soon became crowded. They were all either mingling with each other, texting on their phones, or just trying to find the bus. None of them could care less about what Twilight was writing. In fact, they didn't even seem to notice her sitting there on the bench. It was very strange, considering that she was the only one sitting on the bench. What with the both of us being the smartest girls at Crystal Prep High School, It was no *wonder** that we had fallen for each other!* I like to think that god *wanted** this to happen.* I like to think that it was destiny, that ultimently brought us together. Twilight smiled. Writing this poem and expressing her feelings for her love... just made her feel all warm and bubbly inside. She took a break from writing and adjusted her glasses with her index finger. She looked down at her notebook, but couldn't think of what else to write. She looked up at the sky, lightly tapping her pencil on her head. Thinking of what to write next. After a few moments, a light-bulb went off in her head. She stopped tapping her pencil against the side of her head, looked back down at her notebook and continued to write down her thoughts. I know that the auditions for The Friendship Games are coming up, and our anniversary is on the same day that the games are starting. But I really wanted to give you a goodbye present before you left. A tear fell from Twilight's right eye. Her smile slowly turned into a depressing frown, she continued to write, as it strolled down her cheek. I'm really sorry that I can't comp-eat in the games. You and I both know that I'm not all that athletic. You're much more stronger then I am! You'll be able to last longer in way more of the events then I ever could. Twilight quickly whipped away her tear before anyone saw it. But they were all to busy mingling, texting, and bus scavenging. But I know that you will stay strong. Because if you stay strong... then I stay strong. Twilight was about to continue writing, when three of the other female student's started cheering as the school came up the road, from the right, and up to the school. Twilight quickly zipped up her backpack, threw it onto her back, closed her notebook and put it aside, along with the pencil, and stood up off of the bench. She then grabbed her notebook and held tightly over her chest, and slipped her pencil into a small pocket of her backpack. As the bus approached, Twilight was shoved aside by the same three girls who had cheered for the arriving of the bus earlier, and quickly hopped onto it. A few other girls fallowed behind them. At least ten boys hopped on afterwards. Twilight was the last one to get on. All of the front seats were full. So were the middle ones. Bit there was one empty seat on the right side of the bus, at the very back of the bus. She slowly walked to the very far back of the bus, sat down and set her things beside her. Twilight glanced out of the window and, just before the bus left for the next one, she saw... her. She saw... her love. Sugarcoat! Twilight smiled at her and waved to her goodbye. Sugarcoat returned a small smile to her, and waved goodbye before the bus left. Twilight watched as Sugarcoat slowly disappeared from her sight. Twilight wished that Sugarcoat could ride on the bus with her instead of riding with her parents. Sugarcoat wished the same thing. But her parents didn't want her catching what they thought was, Bus Germs. Her parent's are very stubborn. But they didn't care if their daughter liked girls instead of boys. And neither did Twilight's parents either. They're love life was not always complicated. As the bus driver drove all of the students to their destinations, Twilight finished her poem for her and Sugarcoat's anniversary. Roses are red. Violets are blue. I hope you know that I I will always love you. She then tore out the poem from her notebook, and folded it in half. Then she scoured through her backpack and pulled out an envelope. She placed the poem inside of it. She lightly licked the tip of it, and closed it shut. Then, she pulled out a black pen and wrote Sugarcoat's name on the clear space, in a fancy, curly handwriting. She carefully put the letter in her bag and zipped it shut. Twilight sat back and relaxed for the rest of the ride back to her neighborhood. She smiled, knowing that she had made the perfect gift for her love. The words of her love poem played around in Twilight's mind. Over and over and over again. And they all ended with.. Roses are red. Violets are blue. I hope you know that I I will always love you.
