As your physicals state, Amaya and Twilight, you are perfectly healthy young mares in prime health and condition, having top marks in every category according to the physicals I performed; the prime candidates for carrying and bearing foals and pups without complications. I'm going to write you both a prescription for prenatal vitamins to keep you and the foals healthy, and also give you a pamphlet for the proper diet of a pregnant mare." Crown stated, his smile widening a bit, giving a big, genuine smile; he always loved delivering this kind of news, especially to a royal patient.

"Is something wrong?" Amaya asked in a concerned tone, though she heard no worry in the doctor's voice. If anything, he seemed excited.

"No Your Highness, we just always have to get a second opinion when we suspect twins."

Amaya's world seemed to slow down. Sure, she and Bade had passively expected it, given that thestrals had twins or multiple births more commonly than ponies did, but even then it was still much less common than a single birth. "Twins?"

"Yes princess. Please look at the screen."

Amaya did as asked and sure enough, as the doctor moved the paddle more, she saw a second, separate form on the screen from the one that had been on it at first. Another foal. A twin.

"Doctor, I believe we have twins. I need confirmation." Radiant asked Doctor Crown Cross as he arrived, showing him the two separate foals on the screen.

The two parents merely beamed in their excitement for a moment, looking at each other lovingly, before both nodding.

"Very well...one is a...colt..." "Yeah! She's super-duper adorable! I could totally eat her up...but I won't cuz that's cannibalism...and I'm not a carnivore...and..." Pinkie said, rocking back and forth excitedly as she watched the baby feed, oblivious to the strange looks her friends gave her at that comment.

"Aw yeah, she's an awesome-looking hybrid just like I thought! Did you see her slitted eyes? And her fluffy ears! So awesome!" Rainbow Dash remarked, equally as fascinated with her friend's foal, if for a different reason.

"Yes, the chapeau I designed for her is rather fitting for her coat and eye color, as is the couverture de réception. Purple silk truly does suit her..." Rarity commented, seemingly more interested in how her fashion looked on the new foal than the foal itself.

"Yep, Twilight and Bade sure did a good job on her..." Amaya commented, before grinning a bit, "I'm sure my twins will be just as adorable."

Fluttershy simply stood there with a small smile on her face as she looked upon her friend's foal, a thoughtful expression on her face, before then looking to Amaya's very pregnant belly, then Pinkie Pie's own. It would seem Pinkie forewent protection at that year's orgy, ending up with the foal of a random partygoer. Something she didn't seem to mind at all however, carrying it proudly as she'd likely planned it, her own filly ten months along and due date drawing near. "So, Fluttershy dear, what do you think of Twilight's dear little fillasse?" Rarity asked, noticing her friend's distant look.

"I, um..." Fluttershy said, shaking her head as though coming out of a daze, "I think she's so...so beautiful. I'd love to have such a beautiful foal some day..." she said, before once more finding herself staring at Pinkie's gravid belly, the pink mare oblivious and only swaying more. Fluttershy, meanwhile, was thinking of taking a page from Pinkie's book in regards to getting a foal of her very own. After all, this year's summer estrus party was coming up within a few weeks, and all she’d have to do is not take protection and find a nice handsome sire like Pinkie had the previous year...

"Thank you all for coming on such short notice." Twilight finally spoke, having waited for her friends to finish and settle down some, "I'd like you all to meet Princess Dawn Moonglimmer," she said, indicating the now-sated foal laying beside her, smiling a small, proud smile as she gently lifted her up in her magic and displayed her to her friends, "my daughter."

"Twilight, I'm so proud of you..." Bade said, rubbing muzzles with Twilight, before giving her a soft kiss, "I can't even begin to say how happy I am. We have a daughter now...thank you."

Twilight gave a small grin. "Well, I certainly didn't make her all by myself," she said, her grin turning mischievous, "you helped a lot after all."

"Yeah...he sure did help out a lot...you all were sure loud enough to prove that..." Spike grumbled to himself, fortunately out of earshot of the other ponies.

Bade simply blushed a bit, Amaya giving Twilight a wink, before her foals shifted within her womb. "Yep, getting cramped in there, huh my two preciouses?" she asked her squirming belly, giving it a soft pet with her wing, "Don't worry. I'll get to see you within a couple of weeks." With that, she turned her focus back to Twilight and her newest herd-mate.

"So, do ya plan t' have any more?" Applejack asked, "Y'all seem t' have a penchant fer beautiful foals af'er all, if this'un is anythin' to judge by."

"Well, yes. I'm going to make sure little Dawn here has plenty of brothers and sisters by her two herdmates." Twilight said, then nuzzling with her shared stallion, giving him a wink, "Bade, I want lots and lots of little princes and princesses. In fact, I want another foal right after I stop nursing and go into heat again!"

Bade gulped.

"Yeah, I want more foals by you too...hay, maybe I'll even have twins again, or even triplets!" Amaya said, before looking to Twilight, "After all, don't royal herds traditionally have large families?"

Both mares then looked to Bade.

Bade gulped, before giving a soft sigh and smiling. "Oh jeez, what have I gotten myself into...having two mares who love me enough to have my foals. So lucky to have two mares who love me so much as to give me a family." He then brought his two mares into a hug.

"It's just my luck."

Pinkie grimaced. "Wrong story you dolt!" she yelled out, getting surprised looks from all in the room.*

Indeed, within two weeks of Twilight's foaling, Amaya had given birth to her own two foals. The first born was a male thestral pup with a light-blue mane and mid-grey coat, followed within an hour by his twin sister who looked much the same as him, save her mane and tail being a light, two-toned blue-gray, her coat a slightly darker grey in tone as well.

When Amaya had seen them, she was instantly reminded of her dreams she'd had on the night before their conception, quickly holding the swaddled twins to her, one in each hoof. "My preciouses..." she cooed, tears forming in her eyes as she held her and Bade's foals; the product of their love.

Twilight then held up her own filly to the other two, the young filly's eyes widening in glee at the sight. "Yep, they're your brother and sister Dawn..." she told her, with Dawn leaning forward to nuzzle her newborn half-brother affectionately, "That's Dusk Aurora, and his sister Nocturne Belle. You're their sister."

"Don't worry Dawn," Amaya said softly, still weak from giving birth to twins, "I'll make sure you have plenty of half-brothers and half-sisters to play with in the years to come besides these two...I promise."

Bade simply huffed a bit. "...and I don't get a say in siring, like, a dozen foals between you and Twilight?" he asked, before getting a grin from Twilight.

"Master-Sergeant Bade Moonglade, you will give Amaya and I all the foals we want, understood soldier!?" Twilight asked in a drill-instructor tone with all the authority she could muster, making Bade snap-to on instinct, saluting her in the appropriate stance.

"Ma'am, yes ma'am!" Bade replied on reflex, before catching himself just as Amaya and Twilight started laughing, making him blush.

"Well it's settled then, we're gonna have lots and lots of foals!" Twilight said, before giving Bade a soft kiss, followed by Amaya.

"...and even if we don't, we're sure as hay gonna have enough sex to...right?"

"Hay yeah we will..." Amaya replied for him, before giving Twilight a kiss too, "my herd-mates, my loves."
