In 18th century London, England, under the rule of the tyrant Queen Mary I, Protestants and those who oppose the Catholic Church are being persecuted along with those who dare provide distribution of the newly translated bibles. After witnessing the death of her family for being accused of heresy, Alice escapes and takes refuge at the house of her tutors. Filled with sorrow, anger and sadness, Alice only has her fathers pocket watch as a memory. But when it is snatched by a mysterious white rabbit, Alice unconsciously chases after it which causes her to follow it down a well. Upon doing so, she finds herself thrust into a world without reason and is caught in a battle between the Red and White Queen. Worse, she is the only one who can stop the hundred year feud between them.
